Silver's pov
Fully coming around was hard, i was so worn out from the teleport that all i could feel was this drained haze as my eyes fully fluttered open for the 3rd time, Sonic pulls me into a sitting position and helps me drink and eat something at least. It was easier to breathe today, the accumalted ash in my lungs was slowly dissipating as i put my arms underneath my weak body.
I'm recovering faster then i thought i would.
Sonic chuckles,
The echidna who found you has been teaching me tricks to help you heal through our bond. We've been waiting for you to get strong enough to walk before we keep searching for Shadow.
I nod and i sit up.
I'm getting stronger, but i might know where to find him, there was this building in my future, a GUN facility. If we can find it, we can find him.
Sonic gasps," really? A facility here? We'll have to find some mainland to find it. It's been an archepeligo so far."
I nod,i'm sure. I used to go there often, it had power and was my base there. I would sit and talk with the sleeping shadow in his pod for hours, it kept me sane. He even responded right before i went to leave. He knew i had to leave that horrible future. If i can help you find him, then it'll be like repaying him back.
Sonic smiles, "let's see if you can stand with my help." Sonic pulls his arms under my shoulders and i let him lift me up, putting my ruined shoes under me.
Sonic pulls himself to my side and i grip his opposite shoulder, but i was on my feet.
Together the two of us walk out of the small house that i had rested in for a while now.
How long was i asleep?
Only about 2 weeks, you were in and out of it the whole time though. I did what i could to help your state while you were awake. You're looking a bit better, but your still dirty. We'll get the soot out once your stronger though.
I nod as Tails,the two tailed fox i had heard about from Sonic's mind a few times, zips over and smiles," i see Silver's getting back on his feet." I smile,"y-yeah, thanks to Sonic."
Tails smiles," i'm Tails by the way, Sonic talked about you and Shadow pretty endlessly while we were searching for you both, do you think your strong enough to travel by plane? There's a second seat that Sonic never uses."
I chuckle," so where does my crazy brother sit?"
Sonic snorts as Tails responds with a smirk on his face.
"He enjoys sitting on the wing of the plane, but your face tells me he does that alot."
I nod," it used to be ontop of the sirens on the firetruck. Shadow wasn't any better just holding onto the sidebar."
"And you?" Tails pipes up.
"Oh i'd fly alongside like a reasonable hedgie. I have telekinesis, whereas my brothers got superspeed. Shadow got it the worst. He had powers so strong our mom had to commision limiters and skates for him to even use his powers safely."
Tails giggles as he hops up into the plane.
Sonic grips tighter onto me before leaping up and setting me down in the seat.
He himself climbs onto the wing, as the engines spur to life.
"Where are we looking for?"
"Station Square. That's the city i found the base in"
"Ok, hold on Mr Silver. This might hurt a bit, i don't know how well your used to a sudden drop."
"Sudden drop? Why would we need to- ahhhhHHHH!" The plane pulls into a nosedive as it drops from Angel Island and i grip the drivers seat tightly as Sonic laughs as i try to trigger my powers, but all i feel is nothing.
The plane then pulls out with ease, and i yell at sonic," You know you could've warned me!"
Sonic laughs at my fury. Not much i could do now.
"We'll reach Station Square in about 4 hours of flying. So hang on tight and enjoy the ride."
I relax and enjoy the 4 hours of flying, sonic on the other hand, hyperly told me everything that happened with him while we were seperated, how terrifying it was to be alone with his thoughts, and no one sharing that space. I was also grateful to be feeling the clutter in my mind again.

We come over the city and i stand in the plane, looking around, before i point a building.
"That's the building there! But i can't feel him here like i did in the future."
I feel Sonic groan as he looks around.
"Then he isn't here, my senses don't lie either bro. Tails, let's land and refuel. We'll check the underground zones next."
"Ok, but be careful in those caves. My scanners show that they're in a perpetual tide flood."
I nod and so does Sonic.
"Won't have a choice if we want to find Shadow, once you refuel, head for Spagonia, we'll meet you."
"If you're sure Sonic, remember to use that communicator i gave you."
Sonic sighs over our connection.
He's starting to remind me of mom.
I smirk.
Nah, more like how we talk to shads.
He snorts, giving me a sharp look.
You both are just as bad. Doesn't stop me from being annoyed.
You'd be bored without us. I chirp in and he shrugs.your right silv. I smile as we land and i hop out.

(Proper update, it's a book i still like, but i have no motivation to figure out new story for. If anyone has any ideas, PM me, i could use the ideas)
