Jennifer's POV:
The smell of leather and the sound of mumbling behind me fills my senses as I sit in this boring Calculus class.
I roll my eyes as I have to swallow the irritating voice of Mr. Hill lecturing about the derivative of (x+1) sin x which that alone gives me a migraine as I sit here.
I tap my foot impatiently as I have to sit through this hell for a hour more.
That's when I remember Eddie and his game today.
I smile quietly in the corner as I think about him.
my heart starts beating out of control as I remember the kiss we shared in the van.
"Mr. Hill-" I start raising my hand.
Everyone's eyes on me and he glances over at me.
"Yes?" He says.
"I have to use the restroom" I say and he raises a eyebrow at me.
He scans me up and down before gesturing me to leave the room.
"Thank you Mr. Hill-"
"Just go!" He says shaking his head.
He must think I'll skip out during class.
I mean he's not wrong on this assumption but he really doesn't care if anyone skips his class or not.
He gets paid at the end of the day no matter what.
I walk down the hallway and look around to try to find Eddie.
I see Dustin's about to sneak into the drama room so I walk over to him.
He sees me walking and his eyes widen for some reason.
"Hey Dus-" I'm cut off by him as he grabs me and pushes me to a small corner quickly.
"What the hell-" he covers my mouth before I could talk further and I hear footsteps.
I hear Jason Carver's voice talking about some game coming up and Dustin holds his breath.
Eventually the voices disappear and he pushes me into the room.
He locks the door behind us and hugs me.
"I'm sorry for covering your mouth..it's just..nobody knows we play in here only members of the club do" Dustin says scratching the back of his head nervously.
"It's ok Dustin,I just got shocked by how forcefully you grabbed me" I say giggling and I hear shouting from behind us two.
I tiptoe my way further inside the room and I see a huge table awaiting us.
Eddie is sitting in the middle of the table and the seat resembles a throne.
The seat had been previously used for one of the school drama shows.
He glanced over and his eyes lit up when he sees me smiling at him.
He quickly changes his face when the guys start to chuckle and whisper to each other.
"Mhmm...come sit Henderson we've been waiting forever for you" Eddie says and winks at me slightly.
Dustin sits down and I stay standing up.
"Come sit" Dustin whispers and I shake my head.
"I need a invitation don't I?" I start
"I mean I'm the new one here" he smiles before looking at Eddie.
Eddie eyes me up and down.
Suddenly I grow conscious of my outfit that I picked today.
A short black skirt & a pink colored sweatshirt that has a strawberry on it.
I stand out from the rest of the group who are all wearing Black & leather.
"How rude of me,everyone this is Jennifer." Eddie starts standing up and reaching his hand out to me.
I bite my lip nervously and grab his hand.
His rough yet warm hands touching mine & he pulls me closer to the table.
"She's new to Hellfire" he adds and one of the guys smirks at me.
"She's cute Ed,is she single?" He says before nearly everyone starts to wolf whistle at me.
"Alright that's enough" Eddie says and they don't stop with their flirty eyes.
"She's wearing a skirt how cute,easy access-" one of the others say.
"Enough of that Jeff" Dustin says elbowing him.
Eddie grows tired quickly and I notice this only because his hands start to tremble.
Which can mean one of two things.
He's either very angry or he's nervous.
I figure he's slightly angry due to everyone's rowdiness ever since I walked into the room.
He slams his fist onto the table.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP ALL OF YOU!" He yells.
Everyone goes silent clearly learning that they all fucked up.
"WHO'S THE DM?" He asks them and they all point to him.
"SO UNLESS I START THE CONVERSATION DON'T SPEAK!" He says pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration.
"Ed I'll go outside if it's better for yo-"
"NO! They need to learn how to behave with outsiders" he says glaring at all of them.
"I'm sorry Jennifer..." Mike Wheeler says.
I've seen him periodically in the school,we never crossed paths until today.
I clear my throat awkwardly and raise my head a little.
"I don't wanna make things awkward in here...so would you all please stop looking at me like you're terrified of me!" I say biting the corner of my mouth.
Eddie glances over at me and pulls a chair out for me.
"Sit." He says lowly.
"Ed..it's obvious the tension in the room-"
"Sit Jen. It wasn't a suggestion" he says and I sigh loudly before sitting down in the wooden chair beside him.
I tap my feet impatiently.
"I don't know anything about D&D...I'm afraid I'll be of no use for today" I say to him.
"It's fine doll,you watch and learn.." he says before explaining a "campaign" which is basically him creating a backstory,settings & exciting characters to help the story itself progress.
"Would you like for me to make you a custom character love?" He asks me with a raised eyebrow.
All the nicknames he gives me causes small butterflies to form in my stomach.
I shake them off however,because it's pointless to have a crush on the town freak that everyone hates.
"I'm good for now Ed just play with the boys and I'll watch" I say smiling at him.
He smiles at me before placing his character down.
"Mines a Barbarian" he says smirking deviously at the others who are probably shitting their pants right now.
"Seems fitting for you Munson" I say rolling my eyes playfully before curiosity gets the best of me.
I run a hand through his big curly hair and he eyes me from the corner of his eye while I do so.
I secretly wished he had some feelings for me,the kiss we shared in his van has stood stuck in my brain since it happened.
It was so sudden yet so good?
He's a good kisser,yes I'll admit it.
The way his lips softly brushed against mine as his large hands slowly slipped down my shoulders and found themselves at my thigh and I stopped him before we went further.
However I didn't really need to stop him,he didn't dare to move his hand further up from my thigh.
It stood on the lower part of my thigh,his grip warm and tight as I swore he left a handprint on it.
I secretly wished I didn't stop him,I secretly wanted to see how far we would go.
We just met but somehow I look into his eyes and I don't see what everyone sees.
My thoughts are interrupted by the sound of fingers snapping and I snap out of it.
I see him snapping his fingers in my face in a attempt to bring me back down to earth.
"Earth to Jennifer?" He says and I blush knowing he must've noticed me space out into orbit staring at him.
"You okay there missy?" He asks me smirking and the boys giggle watching me.
"You guys never learn huh?" He says raising a eyebrow before standing up.
Everyone flees the room and he chases them down the hallway.
I laugh running behind him.
"EDDIE STOP-" I say and tug at his jacket which slows him down.
He eventually stops and allows them to run away from him.
"I'll get them later I need air" he says before removing his jacket.
My eyes scanning his tattoos on his body.
His shirt didn't cover much since it was cropped slightly and the jeans he wore were tighter than the high ponytail I do on myself.
He smirks catching me again in the act.
This time I go to attempt to run away from him,however he grabs me and I lean against the wall.
He moves close to me.
"Do you get flustered around me princess?" He asks me.
"Stop with the nicknames already...I'm not even your girlfriend to be calling me that" I say blushing.
I hide my face in embarrassment.
Fuck my hormones and fuck how they're so noticeable.
We both chuckle at each other before silence fills the hallway.
Everyone's still in class and the gang must've ran outside to really escape the hands of him.
"You're cute Jen" he blurts out suddenly.
"Stop!-"
"I'm being serious,you are cute" he says calmly.
"Ed..."
"You're flustered because of that kiss aren't you?" He asks me smirking.
"I-I'm not thinking about anything like t-that" I say stuttering as I speak.
Fuck.
"Are you sure? Because it seems like the
"church girl " got a crush on me.." he says pushing a loose strand of my hair out of my face.
"I do not have a crush on you Munson" I say rolling my eyes.
No but I fantasize about the kiss multiple times in a day.
Maybe I do have a crush on him.
I won't admit that though,how could I?
He's Eddie Munson for God's sake!
"Fine you don't then why are you blushing and why can't you look into my eyes when you say that" he says leaning closer.
"Edward,move one step closer and I'll do something I'll probably regret later" I say.
He lifts my chin with his finger.
"Perfect." He whispers before his lips find mine once again.
I kiss him back and the kiss just as soft as the first one in the van but something about kissing in the middle of the school hallway makes it feel ten times hotter than it should be.
He pulls away and I pull him back to kiss him again.
We finally pull apart from each other's lips and I stare into his eyes.
"Atta girl,finally looking at me" he says smirking as he rubs my lipgloss off his lips with his bandana.
"I have a gig with my band at a small spot downtown this Saturday,would you like to come?" He asks me.
"Eddie I know you aren't asking me a question like that randomly after we just k-"
"Kissed? Yeah I know what we did" he says smiling.
"You aren't fazed?" I ask him.
"No because you looked like you wanted to eat me back there in the room anyway so I assumed I would taste your lips again anyway" he says.
His smile cocky as ever.
My jaw open as I'm shocked he even noticed me staring that long.
"But back to my question would you like to come?" He asks me.
"I'll have to see because i have to babysit my little brother that day" I say pouting since his gig sounds more fun than being stuck at home with a hyperactive 8 year old who likes to attack me every second he can.
"My younger sister's going to be at a sleepover so I'm alone with him" I add rolling my eyes.
"Damn..maybe next time?" He asks me.
"I'll think about it Munson" I say.
He leans in close again.
"Can we...one more time?" He asks me.
"Is Eddie Munson,the dominant dungeon master asking for me to kiss him again?" I ask teasingly.
"Hey I don't have to ask you know? I could easily jus-"
I cut him off with a deep kiss before pulling apart.
"Have fun finishing hellfire today!" I say as I slowly walk away.
"Wait you're not gonna come back?" He asks me.
"I'll see you after school Munson,I have Chemistry at 3pm it's my last class" I say and he whines.
"Fine I'll see you later" he says winking at me.
I roll my eyes at him and sway my hips as I walk way.
I hear a wolf whistle behind me and I look back to see him staring but also waving bye to me.
I laugh before turning around and walking away.
What the hell are we?
I mean we're friends apparently...who kiss?
This doesn't make sense,however nothing in Hawkins seems to make sense....

I was inspired after binge watching Stranger Things Season 4.
This book is basically about a new girl arriving in Hawkins,who meets Eddie Munson and the rest of the gang.
There's no horrors in this book,but there's going to be steamy scenes and some thrilling chapters.
But no Vecna,Demogorgons,etc...
I can't wait for you all to read this book,I'm really proud of it and excited to introduce new characters that are so exciting for this series.
