On the days leading up to my departure for my internship there was plenty to do.

First of all, I handed my permission slip in to Aizawa and reassured Uraraka that I would be able to go.

Secondly, I spent plenty of time texting Fuyumi. Both because I felt like I needed to get to know her better and so she could get more information on Kuse. Things he liked, things he didn't like, and things to be aware of. I didn't want her to freak out if Kuse swallowed a metal chopstick or something because it was both horrifying to witness and something that Kuse did when he was bored.

Third of all, I still haven't really talked to Tenya at all. Partially because I'm still mad, and partially because I thought it might be a good idea to give him space. The only words we've exchanged were over text; I asked him where he was doing his internship. Despite the huge amount of offers he received, he ended up picking some small-time agency in Hosu that I hadn't even heard of. But I decided to let it go for now, I'd chew him out about that later. He was going through hard times, so I was trying to cut him some slack.

Finally, I was currently in my room, frantically stuffing clothes into a suitcase while I pushed Kuse to finish getting ready.

"Hurry up," I urged my younger brother. "Fuyumi is waiting outside."

"I'm hurrying!" He huffed, shoving a stuffed dinosaur into his already bulging backpack.

We both quickly slipped on our shoes and I took a moment to tie Kuse's laces. Yes, he knew how to tie them, but we were on a time crunch and he took a while to tie them, he has to say the steps one at a time; 'one bunny ear, two bunny ear, cross them, etc.'

I climbed down the fire escape first, making sure Kuse made it safely to the ground after me. We both turned when we heard a honk, our eyes landing on a small white car. The passenger window rolled down, revealing the driver as Fuyumi with her brother Shoto in the passenger seat.

She called out to us. "Come on, get in, we're running late."

I swung open the trunk, putting my suitcase and Kuse's backpack inside before we got into the car. I opened the back door for Kuse, sliding in after him and shutting the door. Fuyumi hit the gas and we were off.

Thankfully Fuyumi dropped me off at the train station, so I arrived on time. I gave Kuse a quick hug before getting out of the car and grabbing my suitcase from the trunk, waving goodbye as they drove away.

Then I headed into the station, my suitcase thudding against the concrete steps as I made my way underground. I walked through the doors, scanning my surroundings until my eyes landed on Mr. Aizawa, who was surrounded by a few of my classmates.

"Hey, Mr. Aizawa." I greeted, walking towards my homeroom teacher.

Aizawa made a noise that sounded like a grunt and held out a briefcase which held my hero costume. I took the case from him, wincing when I noticed how tired he looked.

"Get going," Aizawa sighed. "Your train will be here soon."

"Thanks," I grinned, then pausing. "But how are we getting to the agency from the station?"

"Someone from the agency will be picking you up," He yawned. "They'll probably have a sign... Or something."

"Very helpful," I said sarcastically. "See you later."

After saying my goodbyes to my teacher, I headed for the platform, scanning my transit pass (which was a temporary one from UA) to get through the gates. Truth be told, I haven't taken transit much in my life. Transit passes were an extra expense, but that never really bothered me. Almost every place I needed to go to was within walking distance.

My thoughts were interrupted suddenly as Midoriya began to talk to me. "Glad you made it."

"I was running a little late," I chuckled. "But I made it."

"I'm so excited!" Uraraka exclaimed, swinging her hero costume case back and forth.

Tenya stood silently beside Uraraka, like a ghost. I sighed, walking towards him slowly.

I took a deep breath. "I'm sorry if all that stuff I said hurt you, I really didn't want to hurt you. I'm honestly just not that great with feelings."

"That's true..." Tenya replied, smiling a little.

"But that doesn't mean this is over!" I barked, noticing that the train I needed was pulling into the station. "Expect us to finish this conversation when we get back."

Tenya ignored the last part, smiling sadly. "Thanks Tora, for worrying about me, for being my friend... For everything."

The train was stopped now, and Uraraka and I began to get on. I stood in the doorway, grinning.

"What's with all the sappy stuff?" I asked, laughing softly. "I'll see you when I get back, stay out of trouble!"

The train doors began to close, and I waited patiently for Tenya to reply like he always did. He'd say something like, 'You're the one who needs to stay out of trouble.' But he never did, the doors closed and the train pulled away.

Once again, I started to get an ominous feeling.

Uraraka tried to talk to me throughout the trip, but I barely heard her. Instead, I stared out the window, desperately resisting the urge to bite my nails as a substitute for nicotine.

~~~~~~~~~~
I hadn't realized I had fallen asleep until Uraraka woke me up, telling me that the next stop was ours. I stretched my arms above my head, then grabbing my things and preparing to get off the train.
The train jolted as it came to a stop, the doors sliding open, revealing an unfamiliar platform. Uraraka and I got off quickly, making sure we had all our things before heading for the exit.
I squinted for a moment as the sunlight hit my face before noticing a woman holding a sign. The woman was tall, very tall Infact, with long red hair tied up in a ponytail, wearing a white blouse, black pants, black blazer, and black gloves. The sign she held read 'Welcome Heavy Metal and Uravity.'
Uraraka waved cheerfully, walking up to the woman with a smile. "Hello, you must be from Gunhead's agency."
"That's right," The woman grinned, pulling a pack of cigarettes from her pocket. "My hero name is Ace, but my real name is Gina Fujiwara, you can call me Gina when I'm off the clock."
I did my best to ignore the smell of tobacco as she lit her cigarette and decided to introduce myself. "I'm Tora Tsujihara, my hero name is Heavy Metal, nice to meet you."
"I'm Ochako Uraraka," Uraraka introduced herself. "My hero name is Uravity, I look forward to working with you."
The woman who introduced herself as Ace, or Gina I suppose, took a drag of her cigarette before pointing at a gray SUV parked at the side of the road with a gloved hand.
"Throw your stuff in the trunk and we'll be off," She said, giving me a smile. "Chop, chop, ladies."
With her face turned towards me I couldn't help but notice a few things. First of all, her left eye was a golden yellow, but her right eye was gray with a vertical scar running from her forehead to below her eye. She also had two triangular scars along her left cheek that went down to her jaw.
She must have noticed me staring because she waved one of her gloved hands in front of my face causing me to flinch.
I quickly apologized, bowing my head. "Sorry, Miss... Fujiwara? I didn't mean to stare."
"Gina, is fine kid, and you didn't offend me. I have plenty more scars, they don't bother me much." She laughed, stubbing out her cigarette. "Now let's get a move on, the boss is waiting."
~~~~~~~~~~

The drive to the agency was short, but not awkward at all. Somehow, the three of us managed to have a conversation while Gina blasted the strangest music I had ever heard. It sounded like several genres and languages all at the same time, a truly terrifying musical experience I would not forget.

After Gina parked the car, the three of us all got out, heading to the trunk of the SUV. Gina passed us our luggage and then shut the trunk, locking the car before leading us up a set of stone steps that lead to the front door.

The agency reminded me heavily of Todoroki's house. It was very traditional looking on the outside, like something from the Edo period.

Gina reached for the door, sliding it open and stepping inside, calling into the house as she entered. "I'm back!"

Footsteps could be heard getting closer, and soon a tall man with mint green hair and a gray mask came into view. He reached out his hand to me and I accepted the handshake.

"Tora Tsujihara," I said, shaking his hand. "Or Heavy Metal."

He shook Uraraka's hand next.

"Ochako Uraraka," Uraraka smiled, returning his handshake. "My hero name is Uravity."

"I'm Gunhead," He introduced himself, despite the fact that we were already aware of who he was. "Glad to have both of you here."

"Anyway," Gina butt in, yawning. "We're not doing anything today, right? I'd like to do some training and nap."

Gunhead sighed, shaking his head. "Today the two of you can look around and familiarize yourselves with the agency, tomorrow is when the real work will start. Gina will show you your room and give you a quick run down of where everything is."

"Follow me," Gina said turning to look at Uraraka and I. "I'll take you to your room first so you can drop your bags off."

Uraraka and I both nodded, sharing an excited look. We picked up our luggage and quickly followed after Gina. She lead us down a hallway and opened the last door at the end of the hall, revealing a plain room with two twin sized beds, two dressers, and two small desks with chairs.

"It's not much, but make yourselves at home," Gina said, smiling softly. "I'll leave you two to unpack and relax for a bit. I'll be back in about an hour, then I'll show you around and we'll eat lunch."

"Thanks, Miss Fujiwara!" Uraraka exclaimed.

Gina chuckled. "Just call me Gina, despite living here for over ten years I'm still not used to Japanese customs, so forgive me if I call you both by your first names."

I shrugged, laughing a little. "Actually, that would be great, feel free to call me Tora, or Jiji, it's a nickname of mine."

"Me too!" Uraraka added. "You can call me Ochako if you like!"

Gina grinned. "I have a feeling we'll all get along great."

Then she left the room, softly shutting the door behind her. I collapsed onto my bed, letting out a deep sigh.

"Aren't you going to unpack?" Uraraka asked.

"Later," I yawned. "I'm so exhausted."

Uraraka laughed. "But you slept on the train."

I ignored her comment, rolling over so that I faced the wall.

Yes, she was right, I already slept for an hour on the train. But I could feel the stress catching up with me, so a nap was just what I needed.

It didn't take long for me to pass out.

And so the internship begins. Hope y'all enjoyed the chapter. I thought, it was a bit rushed at first but I extended it a bit, so it doesn't feel as rushed to me. Anyway thanks for reading.
