My walk to school had been fairly uneventful up until I reached UA's gates. I couldn't help but frown, already dreading the interaction that was inevitably about to take place. I cleared my throat, tapping a cameraman's back to gain his attention.
"Can you people quit blocking the only entrance to the school?" I asked, probably not sounding the most polite.
"Ah, you must be a student judging by your uniform," An exuberant woman exclaimed, grabbing my arm to yank me into an opening. "Tell me, what's it like having the Symbol of Peace All Might be a teacher here?"
"First of all, no shit I'm a UA student, I don't wear this ridiculous uniform for shits and giggles," I replied, narrowing my eyes. I saw the woman flinch. "And second of all, I'm going to be late, so get out of my way."
Silently the group shuffled out of my way and I walked onto the campus, pleased that it only took a moment to get past them. A thought crossed my mind and I winced.
"I wonder if the rest of my class had to deal with this too?"
I shrugged, making my way toward my classroom, hoping that we wouldn't have to deal with the reporters again.

After our morning classes finished it was time for lunch, which really wasn't my favourite time of day. The cafeteria was huge, and not only that, but all the classes from all grade levels and courses used the cafeteria, making it even louder. But annoyances aside, at least Lunch Rush's food was really good and quite satisfying to eat.
"So, are you guys excited for our field trip today?" Uraraka asked, taking a sip from her milk carton.
"Yeah!" Midoriya exclaimed. "I overheard that it's going to have something to do with rescuing."
"Any idea who our instructors will be?" I asked curiously, stabbing into my mashed potatoes out of boredom.
"All Might probably," Midoriya answered. "He is our heroics teacher, and Mr. Aizawa might come too since he's our homeroom teacher."
"You never know though," Tenya said. "We could also have a hero specializing in rescue missions with us."
"True," Uraraka agreed. "Any idea what the other UA staff members specialize in?"
I opened my mouth the reply when alarms suddenly began blaring, making me flinch and drop my fork. Students began scrambling for the exit, pushing others out of their chairs in the process and only adding to the panic.
"What the fuck?!" I yelled as someone jammed their shoulder into mine. "What's going on?! A fire?!"
I felt Tenya wrap his arms around Uraraka, Midoriya, and I so we wouldn't be swept away, but we were slowly being forced into the crowded hallway. Panicked voices flooded the hallway, no one knowing why the alarms had tripped, not only that, but the principal hadn't made any kind of announcement to explain the situation. I tried to look out of the window but found my line of sight was being blocked by taller students.
"Tenya!" I shouted up to my tall friend. "Can you see what's going on outside?!"
His eyes narrowed as he gazed out the window before widening. A relieved look took over his face.
"Everything's fine!" Tenya tried to yell over the crowd. "It's just some reporters!"
No one but Midoriya, Uraraka, and I heard him and the rest of the students continued to panic.
"We have to get their attention somehow!" Midoriya yelled.
Tenya struck a thinking pose, his gaze then snapping down to Uraraka.
"Uraraka, can you use your quirk to make me float?" Tenya asked.
Uraraka nodded, lightly touching Tenya's back with one hand. Slowly he began to rise above the crowd. I grinned, giving him an encouraging thumbs up. The engines in his legs roared to life, causing him to spin like a pinwheel above everyone's heads. I felt nauseous just watching him.
With a loud "THUD," he smacked into the wall above the only exit, awkwardly keeping himself there by using the door frame as a ledge for his feet and pushing down on the exit sign with his hands.
"EVERYONE CALM DOWN!" He bellowed. "IT WAS JUST SOME REPORTERS WHO SNUCK ONTO CAMPUS, NOTHING TO BE ALARMED ABOUT! THE PRO HEROES WILL TAKE CARE OF THINGS, SO IT IS OUR JOB AS UA STUDENTS TO STAY CALM AND TRUST IN OUR TEACHERS!"
After Tenya's encouraging speech things calmed down, and before long the reporters were kicked off of campus by some of our teachers. I smacked Tenya on the back, smiling at him.
"Good job Class Rep." I chuckled.
Tenya smiled. "I only did what I had to."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Not long after lunch, the entire class was gathered outside standing in front of a small bus dressed in our hero costumes (except Midoriya, his needed repairs). Tenya waved his arms around, frantically trying to have everyone line up in seating order.
"Dude," I sighed, brushing past him. "I'm just going to get on, dibs on a window seat!"
Tenya dashed onto the bus after me. "Tora!"
The rest of the class was quick to follow, finding their seats. Somehow I ended up sitting next to Todoroki, who looked like he was going to pass out but was struggling to stay awake.
"Nice try Iida ribbit," Tsuyu croaked. "But the open layout of the bus ruins the seating plan anyway."
Tenya sat down next to Midoriya with a huff, crossing his arms over his chest. I chuckled, leaning back into my seat.
"Better luck next time Tenya." I chuckled.
Tenya just sighed.
Midoriya, Tenya, Uraraka, and some of our other classmates began chatting as the bus began to pull away. I opted out of the conversation, instead, I leaned on my hand, which was propped up by my armrest.
"Tsujihara?" Todoroki suddenly spoke, startling me a little.
"Call me Tora," I replied, glancing at him. "What do you want?"
"Is something the matter?" He asked. "You seem... Quieter than usual."
"You're perceptive," I grumbled, resting my head on my hand again. "I'm fine... I just... Have a feeling."
Todoroki tilted his head. I sighed.
"It's a long story," I said. "But long story short, I have a bad feeling about today."
Todoroki nodded and then leaned back in his seat, his eyes fluttering shut for a moment before snapping back open.
"Just take a nap," I scoffed, glancing at him. "You look like you're about to pass out. Just don't lean on me, I'll tell you when we get there."
"Okay..." He mumbled, shutting his eyes.
I couldn't help but watch in curiosity as the half-and-half boy crossed his arms, his head lolling a little to one side as he slowly let his body relax. There was definitely something off about Todoroki though. He reminds me too much of me. Even the way he slept was defensive. Like he can't ever relax.
I turned my gaze to the window again.
I wonder what made Todoroki like this, more so, I'm curious if it has anything to do with why he only seems to use his ice. But that really isn't any of my business.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The bus finally stopped before a large dome-shaped building, about the same size as an indoor amusement park. I gently poked Todoroki's shoulder, making him wake up with a jolt.
"We're here," I said, pointing to my window. "Sorry if I spooked you."
Todoroki shook his head, rubbing his eyes for a moment before standing up and shuffling out of his seat. I followed his example and shuffled out of my seat, the two of us getting off the bus.
"This place is huge!" Midoriya exclaimed, walking over to stand on my right.
"Yeah," I nodded, taking notice of how Todoroki walked ahead of us by himself. "It's pretty big, reminds me of an indoor amusement park Kuse and I snuck into once."
"You snuck in?" Tenya gasped, an appalled look on his face.
"Well, we didn't have enough money to pay the admission price," I shrugged. "So yeah, we snuck in."
Aizawa interrupted our little chat and addressed the class. "Hurry up and get inside, once we get in the other instructor will let you know what we're doing today."
"This is exciting!" Uraraka chirped. "I wonder who the other instructor will be!"
"I dunno," I shrugged, remaining nonchalant. "Could be anyone."
Midoriya, Tenya, and Uraraka continued to guess who the mystery instructor could be. I, on the other hand, couldn't help but focus on the growing pit in my stomach. With each step I climbed it got worse and worse. The stress from my growing anxiety made me tremble, I couldn't be sure if it was from nicotine withdrawal or my own nerves.
That's how nervous I felt.
Something was going to go down today, and I can only hope that whatever it is, we're ready for it.
A/N
Sorry about the long absence of updates for this book. I wasn't feeling nearly as inspired as before, but I'm hoping to work on this book more because I really do love Tora. She's one of my favourite OC's. Sorry that the chapter is a little shorter than normal, but next chapter will have all the good stuff! Even more exciting, Tora's past life is going to get revealed to two people that she probably would have never told. Any guesses as to who finds out her little secret? Feel free to guess in the comments!
Edit: The first part of this chapter has been edited because I forgot about the whole media thing at first.
