Warm, he was her personal safety incarnate no matter what occured. Quil was her calming presence that would be whatever she needed.

Snuggled among pillows and piles of comforters, Andy felt a warmth that came from more than the heat that flushed her. Quil's body temperature was naturally scolding, sizzling to the touch that, but was nothing more than a satisfying warmth that held her gently.

She curled around him, molding herself into his side so she can get every inch manageable to press against his always exposed skin. Even if slightly uncomfortable, the position was worth it if only to see the dazzling love that flashed across his face each time she pulled closer.

The movie, a poorly written action film that she had blindly chosen, played in the background - the entirety of it completely lost on her, though she supposed all action films originated from the same storyline.

The flicker of colours displayed on the screen painted shaped against the walls, shadows stretching from the light played at the edge of her vision. Unwilling to let herself be dulled to sleep, she shifted her position slightly, just enough for Quil to glance toward her.

He rubbed her arm with the gentle, circular motions of his thumb. A shiver ran down her spine, goosebumps appearing with the brief tensing of her muscles. Heart skipping a beat, Andy nuzzled into the space above his pectoral, her temple resting against the hard bone of his clavicle.

"This movie sucks," she mumbled, a bored huff coming from pouted lips.

He barked a laugh, head falling back and turning so that he was peering at her through his lower lashes - a grin settled over smooth lips.

"You picked it," he reminds her, a teasing sparkle to his eye.

Andy rolled her eyes. "It still sucks."

Humming in acceptance, Quil shoved his mouth full of now cooled popcorn into his mouth before he pulled away - a rush of air chilling her the second he detached him from her side to reach for the controller.

Turning off the movie, he shuffled through the different selections before presenting the options to her. Completely uncaring, Andy pointed out a film with a couple closely held together on the cover - more than likely a romance that would either follow a man that realises his love the female lead, or the exact opposite.

Not having spent much time watching movies or television for since coming for Forks, it was difficult for her to sit in front a seat and focus on the story they condensed into something that often seemed rushed to her.

Quil snickered, putting on the movie quickly before he up and crawled back on to the couch next to her.

"Hey, babe?" She muttered as she layed her head against his shoulder.

Feeling the muscles beneath her move as she looked down at her, Andy took it as a prompt to continue. "I've gotten my replies from the colleges I've applied to a while ago."

He remained silent, this time still and dread tbat wasn't her own began to swim at her veins. He was scared, sbe realised, as what she was goinf to say.

"I haven't openned any of them yet."

He whispered, words there would have gone missed if she hasn't been so focused on him. "Why not?"

It was a basic question, one that would be assumed as a follow up to what she had expressed to him, but it did not ease the sudden nausea she she felt at not having a direct answer. There was no doubt that she had gotten into at least one of the schools, which one's those were scared her immensely. Would she aim for a prestigious education that was far off and would follow her as she inevitably returned to Forks?

From what Andy could tell, her worries stemmed from leaving Quil behind, but also being trapped in Forks unable to see the world and spend time with her family and friends.

"I don't know what to do with them," she admits. "I know I'll always be here, in Forks or on the reservation, and I know I want to go out and see things, but I just don't want to leave you behind."

"You don't have to think of me when you deciding, you know," he stressed. "This isn't about me, its about you."

"No, no, Quil it- it's not like that, I mean," Andy groaned as the words got tangled and tumbled from her without any meaning or order as they tried to keep up with her thoughts. "I'm, I, you aren't getting the point, babe. I wished you could come with me because it's about us, me and you, and, and what we can do to make the two of us happy. I, I don't really care about anyways."

The moment he relaxed was like a weight being lifted for the both. The tension that he shared with her faded away into something less of panic and more of resignation.

Realisation dawned once she figured that he was probably preparing himself to tell her to leave and go to the best school - and while she wanted his opinion, she didn't want him acting like some matyr, or having him convince her to go.

Thinking up of her happiest memories of Quil, she let the yellowish feeling flow intot he air -freeing the room of the negativity was harder than when it was directed at a specific individual, but it was worth it in the end as she easily changed the topic. It was brief work of her part and immediate.

"Anyways, I just wanted to let you know so you won't be surprised when I eventually decide to actually go. I've already missed the acceptance deadline," Andy waves it off, playing nudging him with her elbow as she sat up straight and wrapped herself in the blankets. "So what awful movie are we watching now?"

A playful gleam in soft eyes alerted her to the mischievous thoughts that possessed him - a joyful hum thrummed through her being, a tingle shooting to the back of her neck.

"What-what are you doing?" Andy tried to untangled herself from the blankets, arms moving about frantically to free herself before he-

Yelping, the pair tumbled from the couch onto the floor with a soft thud, the landing lightened by the sheer amount of blankets that surrounded them.

Giggling, she wiggled about as  worked to free her entrapped limbs, his fingers trailing over her bringing her to freeze.

Her breath stilled in her lungs, tongue darting out to moisten dried lips. Quil straddled her legs, hovering over her as he worked on the blankets stopped in his movements - fingers delicately resting on her breast once he had managed to free her of the blankets.

"You, you - sorry, I," he stammered. "I'm sorry."

She blinked rapidly, taking in the position they were in and his flustered expression. He was quite adorable the way his cheeks brightened to a light red on his cheeks, how the sweet brown of his eyes darkened just enough that you could tell, how his soft curls swayed in the space between them.

Unsure of what it was that drove her next actions in that moment, Andy reach out and tangled her fingers in the hair that rested at his nape, tugging him down - the other hand touching his firm abdomen with the barest of pressure.

Quil easily complied to her gentle guidance, coming closer and leaning the lightest weight against her.

So long has it been that she's felt this immense type of joy that was all consuming, the kind that made your head light and left you dizzy. Kissing him was like seeing stars, the press of him left the taste of butter and chocolate on her tongue.

It was fireworks that scorched her skin and lit her in a way that was an impossibility for any other to achieve.

Dizzying, she her lungs burned for the need for air, she refused to pull away just yet, not wanting to let him go. Was her heart meant to be so loud in her ears? She wasn't certain. Could Quil here the frantic beating of the muscles? Could he feel it against his chest?

Thoughts wirled around, what had they been doing before this? How come they don't do this more frequently? Andy couldn't form and sort of answer as she wanted to do nothing more than depen the kiss.

And then her lungs screamed, chest heaving as she pulled away to breathe, Quil's lips chasing after her own before they locked together again, his hand slipping beneath her back, trailing deadly fingers down her spine, and then she gasped out - tingles of electricity sending her to arch up against him.

He shifted them, his movements fluid as he sat up against the couch pulling Andy to scramble after him, straddling his lap awkwardly before she ducked down and kissed him shyly, delicately with a different kind of passion that was no longer fervent and rushed.

A hand brushed the side of her face, another grasping at her upper thigh amd squeezed - drawing an abrupt whimper that she breathed into his mouth as she pressed closer, tilting her head further reach.

Nervously, with concentrated movements, Andy parted her lips, tempting him to do the same as she prodded his with her tongue -breathing him in deeper.

Tangling her fingers deep into his hair, Andy gave a tug - his responding grunt echoing tantalizingly in her ears.

She breathed heavy as she pulled away, head tipping back to allow cool air to flush over her burning cheeks.

Quil continued to pepper kisses alone to bare skin of her jaw, moving down to her throat sparking a thrill to her core that was slowly, leisurely, began to wind up.

Focusing on the top of her throat, just below her jaw, Quil was sure to avoid any of the scars that blemished the fragile skin.

"Perfect," he whispered, the words smoothing against her skin and sending a rush of heat through her at his diligent care. "Absolutely beautiful."

Andy breathed heavy, rib cage swelling with each desperate intake. His fingers danced at the edge of her shirt, teasing the material up to expose the dip in her spine and his warm hands pressed flush against her.

Goosebumps spread, a shudder running through her that incited delight to flare through her.

"I love you," she marveled, the words continuously repeating through her mind. "I love you. I love you. I love you."

"I love you," he mumbled, recapturing her month in a fervent kiss that knocked her back - Andy keeping herself supported by an outstretched hand that kept her within reach.

Suddenly, he stopped, roaming hands pausing in their exploration and his mouth pulling from her with a strangled groan.

Painting softly, Andy eyed him in bewilderment as he pressed his palms against his eyes and dropped his head forward to rest against her collarbone.

"Uh, what?" She croaked.

He didn't reply and it took her a minute to sense the incoming anger that came stomping towards the front door - a swirl of envy and vexation.

Squawking in indignation, Andy crawled from his lap and hid herself beneath the pile of blankets from the intruder.

It was only a few minutes later that heavy stomps and grumbling was heard, followed by a slam of a door as whoever it was came into the house.

"Can you believe she asked him to sit out? That she'd rather have him with her then be safe?" The incredulity in his voice was acid to her ears.

"Jake, man, what are you doing here?" Quil asked in exasperation. Andy wondered if he was still sitting with his head in his hands.

There was a scoff and a crunch of food that caused her to scowl.

"Why does it kinda smell like sex in here?" Jacob asked cautiously.

A feral hiss came from beneath the blankets as Andy registered his choice of words.

"How would you even know what sex smells like?" She snarled, lifting the covers hust enough for her glower to be seen. "Aren't you a forever virgin since you're pinning after my sister?"

Disappearing again, she missed his expression but if she had to guess it was something along the lines of disbelief and ire based off of what he was radiating. There was a pinch of irritation mingled withing the mix, more than likely coming from Quil.

"Now's not a good time man," Quil chuckled sheepishly.

"So it does smell like sex in here?" He exclaimed, a rustling of fabric as he moved around.

Furrow to her brow, Andy pouted in embarrassment as the inconvenient addition to their party bombarded them with what she believed to be quite personal questions.

Knowing that as wolves they share a linked mind it was easy to piece that everything she and Quil shared in their time together could, and more than likely would, be privy to the rest of the pack. It was quite a different experience to be present when one of them found out, Jacob especially as he and her sister have some weird thing going on.

"It doesn't smell like sex, idiot." There was a distinct smacking sound.

"Because there was no sex,"Andy grumbled.

"Yeah, that's why-" there was a pause in his statement as the blanket was lifted to reveal her lying on her stomach with her head resting on crossed arms- "but it's still not a good time for this. I've been talking about Andy coming over all day, how could you forget?"

Peering up at Quil as he crouched next to her head, she wiggled closer, she mumbled, "Because he's all worked up over Bella again."

The other boy's neck cracked as his head whipped around to glare at her.

"If you're here, where's your sister?" Jake questioned, rolling his shoulders.

Glancing nervously between the two, Andy suddenly felt very small as she became the barer of bad news for the guy - even if she didn't like him all that much.

"Uh, she, she's spending the night with Ed-Edward while the others are out hunting," she stuttered, eyes looking anywhere but at him.

A renewed flow of rage hit her as Jacob mulled over the news - just about ready to start huffing and puffing. It was fiery hot, the bad kind that caused her to scramble into a seated position and hide herself behind Quil, already familiar with what typically came after the molten emotion.

He responded immediately, broadening his frame to completely shield her from his raging friend.

The atmosphere became suffocating as her boy began to feed off the energy of the other - small, almost imperceptible tremors connecting with her hand as she touched his heating skin in an attempt to calm both herself and him.

"Get out, Jake," Andy shrieked, "Go home or go see Bella, but please get out!"

He didn't move for a moment causing Andy to fear that she might have made the situation worse by shouting at him but then he was moving quickly, the door rattling against the frame with the force he used to close it.

Silent and unsure what to do, hysteric giggles flooded past trembling lips, her shaking hands coming to rest against the hidden scar on her thigh.

Andy shut her eyes. "He sure, sure knows how to ruin a party, huh?"

His smooth, light laughter was nearly enough to reassure her frayed nerves that stood ready to send her into a desperate flight. He was warm, her safety incarnate.

"Movie night can't be ruined if we still have movies, Ands," he teased, leaning to scoop her into his arms with ease and dropping her onto the couch with a small bounce.

"Yeah, sucky movies."

Blankets were dropped on her head as he laughed.

"Shut up, Andy."
