Waking to the sound of talking and clattering from downstairs, it took her a while to actually drag herself from her bed. She wanted to remain hidden in her be for a long time, school was finished and she had little to do for the rest of the summer other than this one thing.

It would do her little good to begin getting ready when Alice would be rushing in to help her get ready for graduation. The vampire would be jumping between her and Bella ridiculously to ensure that they both looked as good as they possibly could.

Andy stood from her bed, letting a yawn a groan slip threw her lips as she stretched widely with her arms above her head. It was early for her and she wished to crawl right back into bed. She could hear rattling from Bella's room, things being thrown around the room and she found herself going to see her sister.

"I have nothing to wear!" Bella exclaimed, tossing more things behind her haphazardly. She leaned in the doorway, arms crossed over her chest with a laugh playing at her lips. She found it hilarious- how Bella seemed to be having such difficulties.

"You're not going to find anything to wear in this mess," Andy remarked, a laugh tumbling from her as Bella shot her an incredulous look.

The elder sister gestured at what the younger was wearing, motioning to her knit sweater and bare legs.

"Like you're any better? We're gonna be late," Bella growled. "If it weren't for those stupid, thieving, annoying vampires then I would know what to wear!"

"What did I do?" Alice demanded.

She stood next to the open window as though she had been there the whole time.

"Knock, knock," she added casually.

Andy laughed, tipping her head to the side with a grin. "Do you ever use the door? You are allowed to be here- unlike a certain someone," she mumbled the second part under her breath.

Growling, Bella through the top she held in her hands at her sister hitting her in the face. It only caused her to laugh louder and she jumped at her sister playfully tackling her onto the bed.

Alice tolled her eyes, tossing two separate packages at the pair before returning to stand next to the window- unable to mask the grimace on her face from Andy as the vampire regarded the room.

Sitting up, she pushed her tangled hair away from her face and pulled the package into her lap. Lifting the white lid to the box, Andy squealed in excitement at the dress inside. Red was all she could see and despite her disdain for the colour, it was perfect.

Shouting a hasty thank you toward Alice, the young girl slipped from the room and dipped into her own. She tugged her sweater over her head and tugged on a bra before dressing for her graduation. It contrasted against her pale skin, showing off every bruise and cut that decorated her body easily. She pulled on a pair of stocking with a grumble.

Fishing through her closet for a pair of appropriate shoes, it struck her in the chest abruptly. Her breathing grew ragged and her eyes darted around the room in paranoia. The fear was sudden mixed with the prickle of realisation struck at her head.

Pushing herself up on shaky legs, Andy stumbled towards Bella's room causing eyes to fall on her as she fell into the room. The scene was surreal, Alice standing still with her hands covering her mouth, Bella paler than before.

A spasm of relief knocked away the nausea that clawed at her, only to be replaced with even more dread.

"Well," Bella whispered. "Everyone can relax. They're not after the Cullen's after all."

"If you think anything's changed you're mistaken," Alice hissed. "If someone wants one of us, they'll have to go through the rest of us to get her."

"Who wants who?" Andy questioned, battling with the panic that ate at her.

"It's not importan-"

"Well it has to b-"

The sisters stopped, glaring at each other in a silent argument. Each wanted to speak but could not without the other cutting them off. Acting as peacemaker, Alice stepped in and stood between them facing Andy.

"Let's get you finished up. Your hair is a mess," the vampire pushed gently, guiding her out and towards her own room.

It was silent as Alice fixed her hair, pulling a brush through the tangles with a gentle hand. Soothing Andy's nerves with the calming nature. Brown locks looked even darker against ivory skin, her own appearance become washed out by that of Alice behind her.

"Don't worry about anything said," the vampire mumbled. "I'll explain everything after the party."

Missing her chance to answer by a firm knock at her door, Charlie's voice called through the wood loudly asking if she was ready. She jumped up, taking hold of a pair of heels and a blazer that matched the collar of the dress.

Andy looked back to her reflection seeing herself standing alone. In the background was a collage of pictures, each different shots of other people and moments she never wanted to forget.

Draping her blazer over one arm, she reached out and took hold of the camera nearest her with her free hand. She quickly flicked it on, waiting the moment it needed then lifted it so it was level with her chest before snapping a picture of herself frozen in time, a small smile on her face.

She would never be able to forget this moment now, and neither would time.

"When we were five, they asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up. Our answers were things like astronaut, president, or in my case, princess. When we were ten they asked again and we answered: rock star, cowboy, or in my case, gold medalist. But now that we've grown up they want a serious answer. Well, how about this: who the hell knows?! This isn't the time to make hard and fast decisions, it's the time to make mistakes. Take the wrong train and get stuck somewhere chill. Fall in love – a lot. Major in philosophy – 'cause there's no way to make a career out of that. Change your mind. Then change it again, because nothing is permanent. So make as many mistakes as you can. That way, someday, when they ask again what we want to be... we won't have to guess. We'll know."

Seated next to Bella, Andy grinned at Jessica's valedictorian speech and gripped her sisters hand firmly in her own. The nerves of every other graduate bore into her and she tried hard to sink deep into her seat and disappear.

Bella returned her sisters grin, noticing how Andy fidgeted in her seat and bounced her leg but didn't bring any attention to it.

Both girls applauded loudly for the girl they knew- Bella turning her attention to Edward in his seat up front and Andy facing the back, eyes scanning the crowd until she landed on Quil's curls and contagious grin sitting with her father.

She lifted a hand and waved to him sheepishly as names began to get called, the shouts and congratulations of the families around her falling deaf on her ears as his eyes caught hers. An overwhelming sense of love and adoration filled her and she knew that it wasn't entirely her own.

Flushing, she ducked her head and spun back around, catching sight of Alice as she bounced off the stage with a new diploma in hand- the vampire briefly shooting a smile to the Swan sisters.

The rest passed in a blur after that, names were called and she clapped along with the others. When the time came, Bella guided her from her seat and lead her the way to the stage, Andy in front of her sister.

Climbing the steps slowly, Andy's fingers shook as she carried herself across the stage behind Jessica. Regret filled her instantly due to her decision to wear heels as the floor seemed to sway beneath her. She curled her hands into fist, her nails digging into the flesh on her palm as she tried hard to focus.

Being hit with a wave of relief from Jessica as she danced off with her diploma, Andy manage to move forward and retrieve her own.

"Congratulations, Miss Swan," Mr. Greene mumbled as he placed the role of paper in her hand.

She mumbled her own thankyou and made her way to the other side of the steps, her head shooting up at the sound of her name accompanied with howling and wolf whistling. She easily caught sight of Quil with Embry as they cheered her name loudly, parents shooting them amused looks.

Darting down the steps, a giggle escaped her as she skipped over the seating for the graduates and headed directly for the boys. Her heels sounded obnoxiously on the floor and brought attention to her as she passed.

Growing close, Quil pushed his way to meet her halfway. He stepped into the aisle and Andy jumped into his arms the second she was close enough, her arms wrapping around his neck tightly as he spun her around causing the sweet sound of her laugh to echo in his ears.

"Congratulation, Drea," Quil whispered, peppering kisses all over her face.
