Humming softly to the music that flowed from her sister's room, Andy took her chance at a day free of wedding planning to visit the reservation knowing that her father wasn't around to pout and make Bella feel bad about her decision to marry.

Her father had been spending quite a bit of time with Sue Clearwater, oddly enough. It had strange at times when she appeared at the door to help Seth with his school work - it was strange when she sat down with any of the boys to catch them up on school.

Leaning forward, she scratch the top of Mr. Darcy's head and gave him a soft kiss. He looked up at her expectantly, eyes large as he followed her preparations to leave.

"Not this time," she told him, taking a treat from a jar on her desk and offering it to him. "Next time you can come with me."

Tucking an assortment of envelops under her arm pit, Andy figured she had waited plenty enough time to look at her results now that the deadlines past.

She didn't bother to tell her sister she was leaving, the girl more than likely tucked away into the room with Edward close at hand to tell her she was leaving.

Skipping through the quiet home, Andy only stopped to briefly snatch the keys to Edwards car that were conveniently placed on the counter by the front door. Taking up a light jog to the car before he could come out and stop her.

Driving way past the speeding limit, she hummed along to the Debussy that played from the radio - an album that she had heard many times due to Bella's small range in music choices. It was an album that she was completely certain was in the car to make Bella happy.

Edward might not be her favourite person but be was good enough to her sister.

With Edward it was like her sister strived to be the best person she could be, and the opposite could easily be said. Edward tried so hard to give Bella the best that Andy was certain that he would give her the best life.

Slowing down once she entered La Push, Andy glanced out the window to find a grey wolf running along with her car within the forest. Waving at the person, put her attention back to driving, accepting the wolf escorted that she had earned somehow.

When the tires hit gravel, unsteady road, she was alerted to the thickening of trees that meant she was growing closer to Sam's little cottage.

And when it came into view, she didn't get out of the car, only honking the horn in quick succession that brought the pack pooring from the house - Emily and Sam taking up the rear.

Embry came out from the trees, the gray wolf that had been following her, and walked right up to the car.

He tapped on her window, a scowl pulling taunt on his face. Andy frowned, a mixture of anger and disappointment swarming from him in a manner that confused her thoroughly.

"Get out," he gruffed, backing away to give her room.

Glancing at the others, she caught sight of Lynn working her to the front to stand by a confused Quil - both watching the scene in open bewilderment.

Turning off the car and stepping out a little cautiously, Andy carefully closed the unlocked door so that she could easily slip inside again.

"Is everything alright Embry?" She stood still as he approached her, his emotions grating against her skin angrily and slipping into her lungs.

She coughed, clearing her throat from the vile texture. Her eyes watered as the disappointment flooded though her in raging waves - stinging with the anger that she couldn't clear.

Pulling at her sleeves and the hem of her shirt to hide the shaking in her fingers, she glanced around desperately looking anywhere but at him.

Her attempts were futile as he snapped forward and a hand curled to the collar of her shirt, twisting it tights so it was hars to breathe and lifting her up off the ground.

A strangled cry passed parted lips that were frantically working to pull in air as angry shouts and yells sounded from around them. Her hand came up to his fist, nails digging into the skin forcefully. The scent of blood hitting the air, she could barely smell it as she puffed under his hold - Andy squeezed tighter.

"Embry! Let her go." Sam. Sam was there, commanding, Andy noticed.

There were growls, low and rough and it took Andy a moment to notice the flush of pain that spread through her faster than ever before and a large chocolate brown wolf that was slowly inching it's way forward despite Alpha commands to stop.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" She heard Lynn screech, the girl fighting against the arms the arms of Jared and Leah as they held her back. "Put her down now. Let her go!"

Embry ignored them as he brought her closer to his face, form shaking with what Andy guessed was his refusal to obey his alpha.

"What do you think you're doing? Bringing her to the bloodsucker lair where she'd be outnumbered and vulnerable," he sneered. "Just because we work with them doesn't mean we're going to be their friends."

Andy squeaked, clawing at his face that was scarily close to her own - leaving streaks of marks that stuck for only a moment before they begam to knit closed. She kicked her legs, hitting only a hard, unmoving wall.

"Embry!" Lynn screeched, a feral look taking to her eyes as she struggled harder. "Let go!"

Panic seized her, burning hot and all Andy could feel was the fluctuating of the emotions around her that ate at her insides.

Embry glanced over to her, his grip faltering as he took in the protectiveness of two of his pack mates - his best friend and his inprint.

It was all that was needed as a tawny, gangly sized wolf came out of nowhere, tackling Embry and knocking Andy from his grip  with a grunt and sending her sprawling to the floor.

She breathed heavy, panting as her throat was no longer restricted and air could freely fill her lungs.

Tears flooded down her cheeks as she scrambled away, a hand coming up to flutter around her neck in an attempt to chase away the lingering pain. Sobs wretched from her as she looked up with watery eyes at the scene of Embry getting up, a shaking to him as he looked at the young solf that was positioned before her defensively.

A burst of motion and Quil was launching himself forward, snapping aggressively at Embry as the other boy worked to pull him away.

Frantic, she looked around in hopes of finding someone that would tell her what the right thing to do was.

Everyone was yelling different things but the curses that rang through the air from Lynn were clear and loud. The Cameron girl was a flurry of movement as she fought against them growing stronger ti the point where Paul had to aid in holding her back.

Sniffling, she cried softly as she felt the shift mpve through her - not as fast as Quil but close to it.

Her crying seemed to only edge Lynn on more and the girl began to shake visibly eyes focused on the tears that struck her cheeks.

Andy sat up, sleeves wiping at her face shakily as she took in the distance between her and the fighting wolves - a distance that was far to short and caused an impossible fear to grip her.

"I'll kill them! I'll kill them both!" Lynn screamed, a fiery burning spreading through both girls as her anger rose.

"Lynn!" Andy cried, bringing the attention of the girl to her. "That's enough!"

The girl froze, shaking stopped as the words hit the air. Relief hit Andy as one problem was dealt with easy, the urgency to right the situation not lost on her.

"Everything is okay Lynn," Andy reassured, every ounce of adrenaline focused on keeping her cool and sound minded. She looked to the others, the three that were holding the girl painfully tight. "Let her go," she commanded, pleasantly surprised when they listened to her. "Come here Lynn, go around them."

The girl was fast as she scurried around the pair in a wide arc and came by the back of the car - instantly putting herself in front of Andy and close behind the wolf that had come to her rescue.

"Oh Andy, are you okay? Let me see," the shifter girl fumbled with the collar of her shirt, fingers gently grazing over the skin.

"I'm play," Andy croaked, throat dry.

"I'll kill him. I'm going to kill him," Lynn mumbled, tracing her neck over and over.

Adrenaline fading, she clung to her friend as spots began to damce before her eyes in panic. "No, no no no no," Andy stammered. "I, I'll fix, I'll fix this."

Using her friend to push herself to unsteady feet, Andy grabbed the fur of the nearby wolf and used it to keep herself upright as she walked.

Andy was eye level with him once she recognized the young eyes that had come to her rescue - Seth Clearwater. Her hand tightened on the fur and she leaned further into his side for comfort before stepping away and into the space where the two boys were fighting.

She could hear Sam yelling for her to stop and the protests of the pack that followed.

Ignoring him, she looked behind her to Lynn that was rushing to her side. "Stay-" Lynn froze, eyes wide -"I'll fix this."

Stepping in the path of the chocolate brown wolf, Andy clenched her fists to hide the shaking of her hands.

"Quil, go shift back. We have plans and are leaving," Andy said, fighting hard to keep her voice even. His paw paused mid-air, hovering in a way she didn't understand before he turned in jerky movements to the trees to shift back.

The gray wolf lowered itself, lip curling at her and Andy scowled at it. She kept her eyes on him, taking in each of his little details in quick observations.

"Embry, Lynn can be friends with who she wants and that has nothing to do with me. Neither of us are her keeper," Andy whispered, tone gently and kind. "Treat me how you wish but I will rip you limb from limb if you treat her any less than what she deserves."

There was a huff followed by wolfish laughter as Seth pressed his nose to her back in a playful nudge.

Andy turned, patting his head in a loving pat and scratching behind his ear. She felt her legs shake, knees weak as everything rushed back to her in one fell swoop.

She stumbled, landing against Seth as Lynn came rushing to her side - guiding her back to the car where she was helped in.

Glaring, Lynn glanced over her shoulder to her imprint. "Don't come near her again," the girl hissed, baring her teeth at him.

Andy was able to watch as Sam stepped forward finally having full control of the situation as he took care of Embry, the man sparing her an acknowledging nod.

It wasn't long for Quil to arrive, eyes wild as he finally spotted her seated in the drivers seat with her knuckles white against the steering wheel.

Disregarding everyone as he passes, he wrenched the door open and ducked to his knees - pulling her to him gently by her elbows and kissing her soundly on the mouth.

"You're crazy," he spoke against her lips. "I love you and you're crazy."

She brushed her fingers through his hair, counting backwards in her head to keep away the anxiety.

"We're leaving," she told him once she finally pulled away. "Get in."

He moved to say something but she looked away and turned the engine on. "We aren't talking about this. Get in."

It was comfortable in his home as she was drapped over his chest and held to him snuggly. The unopened envelops sat disregarded on his dresser across from where they rested on his bed - only a distant thought in her mind at the moment.

Fingers traced her spine, fluttering in rhythm with her hummingbird heartbeat that responded to every move he made.

Tension workes in his shoulders amd Andy tilted her head to place a kiss to the skin of his bare chest.

"Did he hurt you?" He finally asked, voicing his thoughts.

Andy closed her eyes. "No, not really," she mumbled.

Fingertips danced upwards, tracing against the exposed skin of her neck with a feathery touch. Andy wondered if there was a mark, something that kept drawing people in to check despite her claims of feeling no pain.

"He choked you."

She took a minute, mulling over her response. "Not directly, not on purpose."

The arm around her waist tightened, gripping her firm. "He isn't allowed to hurt you. None of them are allowed to hurt you," he ground out. "It's pack law."

Her hand came up, pressing against the place over his heart. "He never touched me directly, love," she mutters. "And he loosened his grip once he realised that he was hurting me."

Quil clenched his jaw. "He shouldn't have touched you."

"He was angry."

"I don't care! It doesn't matter."

"He's one of your best friends, he would never hurt you like that," she soothed.

"He hurt you, didn't he?" He retorted.

Andy brought her hand up, pressing it to his throat where she could feel the steady beat of his heart. "Accidents happen. I don't know what was going through his head, but it was enough to knock back all reason," Andy attempted to reason. "That doesn't excuse his actions, not with me, but you have both fought it out. It should be reconciled between you both."

"He was upset of how Lynn enjoys you so much. She has this deep connection to you that none of them understand. He sometimes mistakes her love of you for the kind of love she feels for him," Quil tells her. "Her hanging out with those Cullen's made it easy for him to mistake her feelings."

Silent, Andy furrowed her brow in thought. Lynn was her best friend, the closest person to her that she could consider a friend. The Cullen's were family, Quil was something different, Lynn was her best friend. Her place as Andy's protector had always been iffy with the pack and she could imagine Lynn wreaking havoc over them as she enacted her anger.

"You understand the difference, right?" She suddenly voiced. "That I love her but I love you. It's not at all like that whole Jacob and Edward thing that was going on with Bella."

"Yeah, I know but if we weren't wolves that had our soulmates pointed out to us things could have gotten messy," he remarked, chuckles shaking his chest.

She smiled, a tiny thing as she finally settled his nerves.

"Maybe I'll frow tired of you and we'll run away together," she teased, patting his cheek.

His laughter increased and he flipped her over, a mocking growl vibrating his chest as he hovered over her. "I'd chase after you."

Giggling, Andy wiggled underneath him before her eyes caught sight of the letters again - sobering her quickly.

"Well, let's see if you'll have to chase after me anyways,"she mumbled, guiding him off her so she could go over and grab the envelopes.

There were three of them, all replies from the schools she actually went through with applying to and each name tauntingly staring up at her.

"I said we'd read them together," she braved, shyly tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

He sat up, arms open welcomingly for her and she settled herself in his lap.

"Which on first?" He asked, voice hard.

Looking them over, she picked the school that was furthest from home and held it up. "Alaska."

"University of Alaska?" He scrunched his nose in distaste. "Why would you go all the way there?"

"That's where Bella applied."

He left it at that, nudging her to tear the envelope. Gulping, Andy working a rip along the side and before shoving it in his hands.

"Congrats, you got in to Alaska."

Releasing a breath she didn't know she was holding, Andy handed him another - one that was a far reach but was done on a dare by Emmett.

"So, you got accepted to Standford," he told her, a lightness to his voice that came with the pride she felt from him.

A little light headed, she kissed his fingers as he read through the paper with a sense of wonder.

"You're so smart," he breathed in awe.

"Last one. Forks community."

Quil scoffed. "As if you didn't get into that one."

Working the letter from the envelop, he tossed it to the floor. "Three for three. We have a genius!"

He lifted her, tossing her on the bed beside him with a happy exclaim. He leaned over her, hovering as he held his own weight.

"I still don't understand why you didn't want to go to any of them,"he whispered, his breath flushing over her cheeks.

She exhaled, eyes locking in on his lips as he spoke. "I wasn't ready to- ah! Ah ah ah!"

Quil pressed his lips to her pulse near her jaw where he could certainly feel the spike.

"You were saying?" She could feel his grin against her skin.

"I was, I wasn't ready to - ah! I wasn't ready to go yet," she stammered, her face burning as a moan caught in her throat.

Pulling away from her neck, her kissed her slow - passionate and loving with gentle coaxing and sweet caress.

She pulled at him, yearning to feel the love he had for her through his perfect touch.

Aching, a spark burst through her lower abdomen as their ruined attempt was cleared away to make room for this.

She angled her mouth against his, lips parting im a moan that he captured with his own.

Hands on hands on hands moved, reaching, brushing burning skin leaving electricity in its wake. His hands were everywhere. Feeling everywhere.

Eyes peaking open, she was reminded of the first time they had met, when she had hid away from him and his imploring eyes. So long ago it was, she now soared upon the clouds when he looked at her, looked at her with so much joy.

Nails grazed his scalp, brushing hair away for her to see more. See all of him.

Panting, back arching, the straps of her bra pulled tight against her skin, her shirt rising to press skin and warm skin.

More, she thought, she could never have enough of him. Legs moved up, wrapping around his waist and she felt him firm against her.  Her pulse rushed, anticipation mixing with nerves.

Never had she been someone like this, but she was content with having just him forever.

He moved, flexing and she tensed, moaning softly at the brush of him against her through the uncomfortable fabric of her jeans.

He grunted, eyes clenching shut as his hips stuttered forward again on impulse. She moaned, legs spreading despite herself.

Lips pressed to her jaw, drawing a path that burned her nerves and stopped at the collar of her usual turtleneck.

He drew away slowly, pulling back so that Andy could see him gazing down at her, his indecision clear in the way he hesitated.

Gulping audibly, he nodded towards her top, tongue darting out to moisten her dry lips. He cleared his throat. "Can - uh, may I?"

Andy nodded, watching as he grew closer to the hem of her shirt. Alarm suddenly gripped her, fear seizing her throat and she slammed her hands down on the ones that had risen her shirt past the naval.

Quil's eyes darted up, locking on her glazing ones and he dropped her shirt like it had burned him.

"What's wrong?" He blurted, his hair cutely disheveled.

Breathing deeply, she gestured towards herself. "You, you haven't seen all, all the scars that -" she stuttered, drawing in a sharp, quievering breath.

Quil sighex in relief, her falling back as he released a chuckle.

"Baby, no matter what you are the most beautiful person to me," he told her. "I'll see them eventually but it doesn't have to be now."

He brushed her hair back, tucking the stray strands behind her ears.

Flickers of images flashed before her in reminder of what they looked like to the bare eye. The lighting was dim and it was hard to see without the direct light that make the silvery colour shine.

Looking up at him, she knew that she wantes this - the fire that coiled itself in her core an obvious show to how much she wanted every part of him.

So much could be given to her by the chance of status to their relationship, the intimacy only bringing them closer.

He was so lovely as he kneel before her, waiting for her decision on whether or not to continue - no pressure coming from him as she concentrated on the emotions that were not readily offered for her to readb the ones that required a deeper extention of her gifts.

Andy inhaled deeply, steeling herself as she hurriedly removed her turtleneck and immediately looked away.

Shame ate at her as she was instantly repulsed with the way she must have looked to him.

Quil didn't say anything right away, anger spiking for a brief moment before he gently grabbed her wrist, pulling it close for observation.

Fingers glided over each silvery scar, slowly making his way to her neck where he stopped at the messy one that was more of a rip than a bite mark.

"How?" He asked, the heat of him growing as he neared.

"James did all except the messy one," Andy admit, peeking up at him. "Victoria did the messy one."

His face didn't betray anything as he leaned forward, lips finding each mark and showering them with love that seemed to poor from him.

And then there was skin pressed to skin pressed to skin. Her head growing dizzy as the air between them thinned, pleasure intoxicating her relentlessly with each brush and caress, each kiss and purposeful touch.

At one point her bra had gone, replaced with a wet heat and delicate ministrations. Moans and whimpers filled her mouth, her own hands touching everything she could reach.

Tantalizingly slow there pants were stripped, the same love and care being given the raised pink scar to the scar on her left leg and she reached for him - drunk with hunger.

Russet blurred with white as they mixed together, joining with groans and cries. Her back arched, nails digging into flesh and red smeared over sweat graced skin.

Pants, erractic and breathy came from both as he moved into her, rocking with hypnotizing rhythms amd she moaned as he hit the right spots, surging him onwards faster, harder.

Words were rumbled into her ear, melting away as she reached up to him and kissed him hard, tasting the noises he made.

She could feel his everything, everything he felt both physical and emotional and she was going to tear apart at the seams.

She cried out as exhilaration burst from him in a wave of satisfaction, sharing it with her as she collapsed beneath him with shallow gasps.

Quil followed closely, lowering himself so that he didn't rest completely on top of her and he kissed her slowly - deeply and with so much emotion.

"I love you," he whispered. "I love you so much."

"I love you," Andy breathed.

He pulled her close. "I can't wait to spend forever with you."

Andy smiled tiredly, sinking into his touch. "Forever would be nice."

Edit 2019-03-03: I've been getting some comments about protection and if Quil used any. I would like to say that I tried to make that entire scene as mild and detail free as I could, and in doing so I wasn't going to write about applying (is that the right word?) protection, but obviously safe sex is the best sex, so yes, Quil and Andy used protection because they are smart and safe teens.

Of course, their are different kinds of protection that can be used in any relationship, so if anyone has any specific question then they did use a condom.
