Her feet were shaky as she stepped out of the shiny car. She was slow with her movements, her body screaming at her in protest with every action.

Eyes searching, she looked around slowly. She hadn't seen her sister since the girl had left to visit their mother. Walking forward slowly, she kept her head down as she avoided all eye contact. She felt as though they would be able to tell everything just by looking at her.

A cold hand slipped into her own, lightly squeezing. Glancing over, she saw Alice giving her a tiny smile. It had been like this since the night of the incident. The vampire wouldn't leave her side, growling at anyone she deemed too close to her.

Andy let the girl lead her through the parking lot towards her Edwards volvo. She could see Bella sitting in the passenger seat. Edward was out of the car the second the pair were close enough, his eyes softening as they brushed over her quickly before turning his heated glare at towards someone else.

Following his gaze, Andy found herself stumbling to a stop. Jacob stood there, arms bare in a tight shirt. He stood against a motorbike, arm muscles bunched and tight as his glare followed the vampires. His hair was wet, hanging limp onto his forehead from the light rain. He looked intimidating, scary, and ready to fight anyone.

She could recognize the fury in his eyes from here, menacing and dangerous. That's what he was, dangerous and Andy would never be able to mistake him for anything else. The wolves were a danger to her, no matter how much they argued that they would never hurt her. It was something they swore, to never hurt her but their presence alone hurt her.

They were always so angry, also feeling something so heightened and extreme. They were creatures of legends and stories that became reality hidden in human skin. They hunted the threats to their tribe, the cold ones that drank blood. The wolves were huge gigantic and vicious made from the things of nightmares.

Their legends told stories of her kind, she was certain of it. Andy could tell by the way the tribe elders had watched her for most of her life. They wolves had watched her before the big secret was bursting and out in the open.

She didn't need them around, she hated them. She feared them.

"Let's go inside, Allie," Andy muttered. She tugged the vampires arm gently in the other direction.

Alice placed her other hand on the small human's neck softly. The bandage underneath the cream turtle neck was something that would haunt the vampire. The psychic felt guilty for allowing something so awful to happen to her little Andy when she could have prevented it.

"Are you sure? Don't you want to go and see your sister?" Alice questioned lowly, thumb grazing over the hidden bandage carefully.

Looking through her lashes at the car, Andy leaned into Alice as they walked forward. Her heart ached with by the look on her sister's face, the horror and pain that was evident. Bella was flying out of the car in a moment, beat up shoes pressing into wet asphalt moving at a quick pace in her direction. She was confused for just a moment, wondering why the girl would be coming towards her instead of the wolf boy that was following the eldest Swan girl every movement, watching her every breath.

"Andy, what happened?" Bella mumbled, hands barely fluttering over covered arms. Mud-brown eyes grazed over Andy's face, watering at the sight of the ugly yellow bruise that was hastily concealed under makeup and hair. Bella turned on Alice, angry. "What the hell happened?"

Refusing to look her way, she glanced back towards the boys that had their chests pressed together, breathing heavily as the whispered harsh words to each other. She could sense the tension that rolled off them, feel the anger that radiated from them and seep into her skin.

"Are you done with your pissing contest or would you like to get a room?" she snapped at the pair.

They turned away quickly, each looking at her in surprise before moving away. Jacob stood back, leaning on his bike and pouting. Edward moved towards Bella's side, kissing her temple lovingly and giving Andy a hesitant smile.

Slumping into Alice, she suddenly felt tired. Knowing it had everything to do with their amplified emotions, she let her eyes droop and sighed in agitation.

"School hasn't even started and the pair of you already have Andy all worked up," Jasper's voice rang out among them as he joined the group. He put his hand on her shoulder and a warm, calm sensation settled over her. "Andy, don't let them affect you so much. Just push them away."

"How exactly do I push them away when what they feel is so dominant. It's like there's this pressure when I'm near them that is completely unpredictable," she grumbled. She didn't bother opening her eyes, simply settling for the guilt that began to eat at her. "Stop feeling guilty! Just stop feeling so much!"

Pushing herself away from Alice and Jasper, she slowly made her way towards Bella. From the corner of her eye she could make out the way that Jacob settled, how he relaxed he further she moved away from the Cullen's.

"Andy," the wolf spoke softly, scared to frighten her. "Are you okay? From the other night?"

"The other night?" Bella called out. She stepped forward, brushing her hand against her sisters as she placed herself a degree in front of the younger girl. Andy leaned into her sister, letting her fingers lace with Bella's.

Andy couldn't bring herself to look in Jacob's direction as she held her sister away from him.

"He didn't tell you?" He sneered. The others tensed, waiting for Bella's ultimate reaction. "The redheads back. We would have caught her if it wasn't for that big one coming onto our land."

"Victoria? Emmett?" Bella asked, eyes snapping to Edward accusingly. "That's why you took me to visit my mom. You knew and you didn't tell me."

Tugging on the angry girl's arm, Andy found tears coming to her eyes without any goo reason. It was like she said, powerful emotions affected her in so many ways. It was always like this when it was Bella though. Her sister's feelings were always enough to bring her to tears simply because of how close they were.

"It's not what you think, he's twisting it to be in his favour. I promise Bells," she mumbled for only Bela to hear. "Don't trust the dog, he's only loyal to his kind."

"Loyal to my kind? Who are you loyal to then Andrea?" Jacob growled at the girl.

Bella stood straighter, positioning herself between the two. "Don't get mad at me over some stupid dog trait. I'm not the one that turns into a giant animal," Andy snapped back, peaking her head from around her sister.

"I don't blindly trust bloodsuckers and let them let feed from me," he argued.

"You what!" the eldest Swan screeched. Spinning, she grabbed her sister's arms tightly only to instantly release her when a strangled yelp her mouth. "Explain."

Andy shot Jacob a glare before looking back at her sister. "Victoria's been trying to get in. Alice saw a vision the other day and I put the pieces together and did a little bit of forcing and managed to prevent them from hiding me away."

"All of it Andy," Alice sighed.

"I convinced them to let me play bait, and even if it sounds like the worst idea ever, I actually got some useful information out of the redhead. She was all too wiling to just tell me what I wanted to know. It's not like she hurt me that bad anyways, I knew the others were there," she rushed out.

"Hurt you that bad! She would have killed you if we hadn't of gotten you there in time," Jacob ground out.

"Actually," Alice moved towards Andy and took her by the hand, ready to guide her away to class. "Andy is a lot smarter than you give her credit for. My vision disappeared after a certain point, everything went blank after she had told me that it was almost time."

"What?"

"You wouldn't have made it on time if I hadn't of planned on calling you from the beginning," Andy clarified in hasty stutters. "I knew that Victoria was able to dodge the family, she had done it before. I figure that with both them and the pack that you would be able to catch her if I held her off for long enough that she became desperate and made mistakes."

The bell ringing behind them made Andy jump. Letting Alice lead her, she turned her back on the others and made her way to class. She couldn't stop the way her hands shook, soft tremors that she couldn't still. It had only gotten worse since she had seen him, the movement unmanageable.

It was a feeling that reminded her that part of her was missing, that she felt incomplete. With a heavy heart, she made her way to class.
