A few days passed by as Reina continued to tease and torture Harry until he was groveling at her feet. He made sure she had an endless supply of honey cakes for whenever she craved them. He would always have a flower in hand for her, plucked from the palace gardens, whenever he arrived for lunch or dinner. He would always snap at anyone who shot her odd looks due to her being a foreigner. He even threatened to behead people when he heard a group of noblewomen talk shit about the foreign princess.
Reina didn't see Jaide after the day they conversed. Reina assumed that Harry simply scared her off, even if he did apologize to her. But apparently, she had left the palace with her father to visit some relatives for a few days. Reina just hoped they could be friends since she seemed to be the only person who was nice to her in the entire palace. Reina was lonely, the only people she had who were nice and actually talked to her kindly were Fredric, Jaide and Harry. With Jaide gone for those few days, Reina would sit alone and read or ride sometimes. She would try to converse with Fredric but the only person he was comfortable talking to the most was Harry. He was somewhat antisocial.
"Why must you be so serious, Fredric?" Reina said to him, while walking by his side.
"Because Princess, I must be stern in order to do my job successfully," he told her in a low voice, hand clasping the hilt of his sword lightly, always on guard.
"You can be stern, and cordial at the same time," she pressed while he led her to her bedchamber.
It was nightfall now and Reina had finished having dinner with the Queen, the Princess, and their ladies. She had never felt so out of place. She wanted nothing more than to have dinner in her bedchamber with Fredric watching over her as company, rather than sitting in a room full of women who despised her for the place she came from and her beauty. She wanted to have dinner with Harry, but he already had a quick dinner and was still busy with the King and The Council. The King was training Harry and often asked him to attend important meetings concerning political matters.
"Is Harry still with his father?" she sighed a little, ignoring Fredric's previous words as she had given up on getting him to converse with her.
"I am not sure, Princess. But I am sure he will be back soon," he assured her before they arrived at her bedchamber.
"Thank you, Fredric," she told him with a smile. He nodded curtly back and stood outside the room, while Reina walked towards the door and swung it open.
Her eyes stayed on the floor while she took her crown off of her head, a tired sigh escaping her lips as she closed the door behind her. She looked up when she heard some shuffling, eyebrows sloping downwards as she looked around before looking to her left. Harry was currently crouching in front of the dragon eggs. They were transported back into the chest they were delivered in a day or two ago because keeping them on a fire in the room was hard to manage, and often warmed the room up quite quickly.
"Reina," Harry noticed her standing there, gazing at him with a curious look on her face. "I-I was just keeping candles around our babies."
"Why?" she asked softly, walking towards him and noticing the large, chunky candles that were sitting in the chest around the eggs and outside of it.
"To keep them warm," he told her, as she sat down beside him and helped him light the candles. "Or else they will get cold."
She smiled at his words, wondering how on earth he managed to be so adorable when his alter ego was this cocky, arrogant, sex god. Harry noticed that something different about her, not that she was tired, which was pretty obvious. But she looked down. He assumed that it was probably because she was missing her family, and wasn't fitting in here at the Styles Palace. He had seen the kind of looks people here gave her, including his mother and sister.
He got upset whenever he noticed those looks, because he knew they were thinking of the negative stereotypes the foreigners of Khidos are often associated it. The foreign people of Khidos were often aggressive and violent. For years, they have been bitter that they are isolated from Caunwaiton and are treated like savages, which they acted like for a very long time. Because of this, they often attacked the different kingdoms, murdering innocent people. Plus, because they were not white like the rest of the people of Caunwaiton, they were treated as inferiors. Since they had these negative stereotypes and the fact that they we're coloured, they were treated inferior to black people.
The problem was that these foreign people who were violent and aggressive, and were terrorists only represented a small portion of Khidos. Not every single foreigner was like that. It was only the bitter extremists. The rest of the foreigners were kind and honourable, had true, moral values that were often seen odd in the eyes of the people of Caunwaiton. Reina's mother was one of these people.
But unfortunately it was then negative stereotypes that stayed engraved into the people's heads of Caunwaiton. Even Harry thought of foreigners the same way too as he was brought up to believe those stereotypes. But after meeting Reina and her family, and seeing how kind and honorable they really are. It changed his view completely.
"Are you okay, little dragon?" he murmured quietly as she lit the last candle.
"Hmm?" she hummed in reply, turning to look at him. "Oh I'm perfectly fine, Harry."
There was no sarcasm in her words. He could tell she was lying. But before he could say anything, she excused herself to get ready for bed, standing up and heading over to her chest. She didn't even tease him by undressing in front of him like she had been doing for the past few days. Harry watched her with a pout on his lips as she gathered her nightgown in her hands and headed to the bathroom. Harry decided to get changed while she did, stripping down to a comfortable, cream tunic and braies.
He climbed into bed and waited for her, with the covers pulled up to his chin. She appeared soon enough and began snuffing out the other candles in the room, except for the ones on their bedside tables and the near the dragons eggs. Her feet carried her to the side of the bed where she bent down and blew the candle out before climbing into bed. Harry did the same, leaving them in darkness except for the moonlight that shone through the balcony and the candles near the dragon eggs.
Harry couldn't really sleep, knowing that Reina was upset and it bothered him that she was upset. She always seemed so confident and carefree, it never occurred to him that she could also be sensitive at times. He turned to lay on his side, facing Reina who was turned away from him.
"Reina?"
"Yes, Harry," she murmured in response.
"Are you sure you're okay?"
"Yes, I am. Why do you ask?" she questioned, turning slightly to look at him with a frown on his face.
"You seem down and upset," he murmured softly, his pink lips held in a pout. "Talk to me."
Reina gazed at him for a second, unsure of whether she should confide in him or not. She wasn't used to opening up to people, but at this moment she found that she had no one else in this castle except Harry. She had been craving for someone to talk to for the last few days, and even Harry wasn't available. He was always with his father and only saw Reina during meal times.
"I..." she started to say but trailed off, biting her lip. "I feel a little homesick," she said with a sigh. "I miss my friends, my family, my kingdom, and my dragons."
"Oh, Reina," Harry murmured sympathetically. "I am sorry it had to be this way," he said, not exactly knowing what to say in response.
"It's okay," she whispered in response, but he shook his head. "I would be fine if I had company, but everyone seems to despise me without getting to know me here."
"I don't despise you," Harry told her, inching closer to her.
"I know, love," she smile lightly, hand touching his cheek, caressing it.
"Every one is far too blind to see your kind, beautiful soul," Harry told her firmly, making her heart warm up in her chest. "Their minds have been tainted with the wrong ideas about foreigners, that is why they look at you in that way."
"It's unfortunate they think that way," she murmured quietly. "I will change their minds, one day."
"Yes you will," he nodded in response. "Has no one approached you at all?"
"No," she shook her head slightly. "They give me odd looks if I come close to them."
"So what do you do during the day?"
"I sit and read. I go riding, sometimes."
"Without anyone?" Harry frowned deeply, making her nod her head.
"The only person I have here is you and perhaps Fredric, but he's my bodyguard and he doesn't talk much. I would say Jaide if my friend, but she left temporarily so I haven't spoken to her much," Reina said with a murmur, making Harry pout sympathetically.
"I wish I knew this before, I would have asked my father to relieve me of my duties so I could spend more time with you," Harry said as he reached out to cup her face gingerly. "I feel guilty I haven't been with you all this time."
"Don't feel that way, Harry," Reina immediately said with a shake of her head. "You are a Prince. You're to be King one day. Your training with your father is important and I do not want to get in the way of that."
"But you're unhappy, Reina. I do not want you to feel that way," Harry responded with a shake of his head.
She smiled at her sweet Prince, taking his hand that was resting on her cheek and lowering her lips to his knuckles, and placing a kiss on them. She liked Harry when he was like this, so sweet and concerned and caring. She wished he was like this all the time, of course with a good mixture of his cockiness, and he has been like this lately. He has been on his "best behavior" like he was told to do so.
Harry on the other hand felt his heart flutter at her actions, finding that she was being surprisingly gentle and genuine with him. Usually the only times he would touch him is to tease and torture him, show him what he couldn't have if he wasn't treating her well. He had learnt his lesson the night she straddled his lap and grinded against him, and doing many things to be in her favor again right after. He told himself that he wouldn't stop doing those tiny little things to make her happy even after she forgives him.
But now she was sad, not angry or petty like she was just a day ago. She was just homesick and lonely, and Harry found that even more heart aching than being tortured by her while she was angry. He knew he was absolutely smitten by her. She was an incredible woman, undeniably confident and kind-hearted, headstrong but compassionate. He admired her a lot and was just completely in awe by her. His friends made fun of him for being so infatuated by her despite them being married almost half a week now. "But who wouldn't be?" is what he would tell them.
"Don't mind me, Harry," she told him once more. "I knew this sort of thing would happen and I can't complain about it. This marriage, it was my duty to be a part of it. Yes we are working on it to make it more than just a political alliance, but unfortunately you cannot change the other factors that come along with it. Like, my social life or whatever."
Harry didn't get a chance to say anything, too busy forming a response to what she said. But her words were final. She brushed her soft lips against his knuckles one last time before shooting him a gentle smile, then turning around to sleep. Harry pouted lightly, wishing that he could hold her during their sleep but maybe they were close enough for that sort of thing. She may be his wife, but she didn't love and care for him like a partner would. She cared for him, but just as much as a friend would care for another. There needed to be time for that to deepen and Harry was willing to give her all the time she needed.
He was willing to prove himself worthy of her love.

"You gazing at me like that with that smirk on your face is neither sweet nor endearing."
Reina had awoken that morning to find Harry completely dressed in his red leather jacket with a dark velvet sash, and dark pants, sitting beside her on the edge of the bed. He was gazing at her with warm eyes and an excited smile on his face. She frowned at him when his grin grew wider, fingers reaching out to tuck a few strands of her messy, ebony hair, behind her ear. The sweet action warmed her heart, but she was still suspicious as to why he was looking at her like that.
"Then what is it like, little dragon?"
"It is odd, like you," she responded, turning turning to lie on her back. "Right, what do you want?"
"I want you to get your arse out of bed and freshen up," Harry told her firmly. "I've already set up a bath for you, now come."
"Harry, what-"
"Breakfast awaits you!" Harry nagged, finding her hands underneath the covers and grasping them firmly. "Come, my princess!"
He tugged her hands, causing her to sit up with a sleep groan before he pulled her out of bed. She stumbled a bit as she wasn't quite ready to walk. She lost her footing and was about to hit the floor, but Harry quickly caught her, wrapping his strong arms around her small frame firmly. Reina looked at him with a frown on her face, making him chuckle lightly, his cute dimple popping as well.
"What?" She questioned sharply, frown deepening, making him giggle again.
"You are far too adorable to be called a dragon."
"Excuse me?" Reina arched her brows at him, while he grinned adorably.
"The way you frown at me when you're upset or angered, it's very endearing," he told her with a laugh, making her bite her lip down to stop herself from joining in with his laughter. "However, you do also look murderous when you are angry, and that most certainly isn't endearing."
"However it is indeed..." he murmured lowly all of a sudden, smile disappearing and infamous smirk taking its place. He held her close to his chest, lips hovering over hers as he murmured. "Arousing."
"One second you are all smiling and giggly and the next you sound like you want to fuck my brains out," Reina stated with an arch of her brow, making him chuckle deeply.
"Oh little dragon, I will always want to fuck your brains out," he said with a smirk before his expression changed. "Anyways, I've got an awful lot planned today for just the both of us!" He said excitedly, holding both her hands in his and squeezing them.
"But your duties-"
"No buts, come on now," he insisted, tugging her towards the bathroom and letting go of her hand.
"But-"
"No buts! Run along now," Harry pressed on, before dropping his hand and giving her ass a sharp spank.
Reina jolted at the sudden action with wide, surprised eyes. Glaring at him while he smirked at her, she walked into the bathroom and shut the door behind her. The left cheek of her ass was stinging lightly as she did her business, cleaned her teeth and washed her face. When she stripped down, she tried to turn her head and look at her ass. Her jaw slackened when she saw that the flesh of her ass was actually red. She knew her skin was sensitive and that spank was awfully sharp and harsh.
"That fucker," she muttered under her breath, hating that she actually felt aroused by his actions.
Harry wasn't the only one who was craving for sex after the consummation ceremony. Reina too found herself thinking about his warm torturous touch and the feeling of his lips ravishing hers over and over again like he said he would. She couldn't forget about how perfect his body felt against hers, especially when they connected, as if they were two puzzle pieces made to fit into each other.
She may remain unfazed on the outside and give sarcastic responses whenever he spoke to her hotly about how he wanted to ravish her body and take her hard against the soft sheets they laid upon every night. But on the inside, she felt herself getting aroused by his words, thighs threatening to clench, sex aching for his cock.
She didn't know how long she could last until she has him back again between her legs, naked and writhing with pleasure.
A big part of her knew it won't be long until it happens again.

"Harry, where are you going?"
Harry and Reina spun around to see the King approaching them with guards and nobles by his side. Harry frowned deeply, leaving Reina with Fredric and walking towards his father.
"I told you already, Father. I am spending the day with Reina. I'm going to take her out," Harry told him, making his father scoff and shake his head.
"Do it another time. I want you to come with me to the meeting with Lord Selter and Graen," Desmond said to his son firmly, making him scowl immediately and shake his head.
"Father, you told me I could have a free day today," Harry whined a little, making his father frown at him angrily.
"Harold, attending these meetings is a part of your training for becoming King one day. Take them seriously or else your reign will be short and unsuccessful when the time comes," his father warned him strictly, before walking away, expecting Harry to follow him.
Harry pouted hard, frustrated and angry because he had a lovely day planned for his wife. Reina noticed his frustration, watching him clench his fists and jaw as he began stomping towards his father to argue with him again before Reina stopped him. She stood in front of him with a hand to his chest, causing his features to immediately soften. But he still had his eyebrows drawn low, pink lips pursing.
"Just go, it is alright," Reina murmured to him.
"No, he promised me, and-and I have so much planned, most of it will only work for the day time-"
"My Prince, it truly is fine. Your plans, I do not know them, but they already sound like they would be great fun, and it warms my heart you had this all planned for me. But your duties as a Prince is far more important and you must attend to them when your father tells you to," Reina explained to him, touching his cheek as his heart warmed up at the pet name she used. It wasn't really a pet name, but she used it like it was one.
"I am so sorry," Harry apologized to her sincerely. "I will go, but I will try to be back by twilight. I am sure my father has more meetings for me to attend during the afternoon as well."
"It's okay," she smiled at him reassuringly, making him take the hand that was resting on his cheek and bringing her knuckles up to his lips. He gazed at her while his soft lips grazed her knuckles.
"I promise I will make it up to you in the evening and night," he murmured softly, making her smile warmly at him. "I will see you later, little dragon."
∙♖∙
It was twilight when Harry returned to Reina with the biggest smile on his face, taking her hands in his and leading her out of the castle. His fingers were intertwined with hers as he pressed her to close her eyes, tugging her further into the horse pastures, which they were now walking across. Reina had absolutely no idea of what Harry was trying to do, but she trusted him and continued walking with her eyes shut.
"So, little dragon," Harry said as he held her hand in his. "You told me you liked to ride, correct?"
"Yes," Reina responded.
"Well I think you will quite like this surprise I have right here for you," he said with a giddy grin, holding her shoulders and then moving his hands to her waist when he had her standing where he wanted. "Alright, open up!"
Reina's eyes fluttered open at his command, landing on the majestic animal that was stood in front of her. It was a horse: a sleek beauty with a glossy ebony coat. Reina felt her lips part at the sight of the black beauty, her feet slowly carrying her forwards to reach out to touch the creature. Its muscles shifted underneath her touch, dark eyes gazing at her curiously as she slipped her hand up it neck, stroking him.
"What do you think?" Harry questioned with a smile, relieved that she was in awe of the horse. "I know he can't replace your loving, chestnut stallion back home. But I thought getting you another one might cheer you up!"
"Harry," Reina managed to murmur as she walked around the front of the horse, green eyes falling upon his long, flowing mane. Harry followed her with his arms around his back and a dimpled smile on his face.
"Look, I even got them to braid his hair, just like yours!" Harry pointed out, making Reina's lips stretch into a grin. "Fredric told me Gemma was making fun of your braids. Do not listen to her, little dragon. My sister is simply jealous of your beautiful, raven locks for they look like the midnight sky, whereas hers looks like pale straw."
"Harry," Reina widened her eyes at his words, before shaking her head and reaching out to throw her arms around him.
He was caught off-guard by the actions, cheeks flushing as he wound his arms around her torso and hugged her back. He couldn't remember the last time he hugged someone. Reina turned her head and pressed her lips firmly against his cheek, making his heart race in his chest as she planted a firm kiss and then pulled away. Her lips were spread into the most beautiful smile he had ever seen. It made his heart pound and lips mirror her grin, wishing he could have her smiling like that every single time.
"Thank you so much, Harry. He's so beautiful," Reina told him sincerely, her arms still wound around his neck. "Does he have a name?"
"Anything for you, little dragon," Harry murmured back, stroking her cheek with a gentle smile on his lips. "And no, you can name him."
Reina bit her lip, turning back to face the horse while she frowned and thought of a name. She couldn't decide on one, so she told Harry that she would like to ride him first and eventually she would figure out a name. Harry helped her mount the horse, just as Fredric arrived with Harry's one. Reina gazed at Harry's beautiful, ivory horse. It was a female, and she too had little braids in her hair, mostly at the top and not big ones like Reina's horse.
"One of the things I had planned for today was a ride in the forest. I know an area that is safe for us to ride," Harry told her as they walked their horses towards the entrance of the castle.
Harry pulled the hood of his cape over his head and Reina did the same with her black cape. Fredric and Sebastian followed them close by as they took the path through the city to the woods that was strictly only for royals. Reina was itching to ride her horse properly, to get him to canter and gallop. But she had to wait until they were deep into the forest.
"Still no ideas for a name?" Harry questioned as they walked side by side on their horses, entering the forest.
"I have one in mind," Reina told him with a light smile. "Tariq."
"Tariq," Harry repeated the name, the sound of it foreign to him, and then it dawned upon it. "A foreigner name?"
"Yes," she nodded in response. "It means conqueror."
"Suits him," Harry smiled at her softly. "What does your name mean?"
"My name?" Reina arched her brows, making him nod in response. "It means Queen."
"Why isn't that fitting?" Harry grinned at her, as she looked at him with slightly furrowed brows. "You will be Queen one day, little dragon."
"I can't imagine it," Reina murmured under her breath as they walked deeper into the forest. The sun had begun to set, and they were nearing their destination. "Do you think your mother will attempt to train me to become Queen?"
"No, I do not think so," Harry shook his head. "My father told me that she doesn't want to," he muttered a little.
"Why not?"
"She...dislikes you."
"You mean detest."
"No, I mean dislike," Harry insisted, making Reina shoot him a blank look. "My father said I won't be needing your help anyways when I become King. He said your only purpose of being a Queen is to produce heirs."
"Of course," Reina scoffed angrily, making Harry pout a little, wishing he hadn't said that because he felt that he had just spoilt her mood.
"He is wrong," Harry said as he looked ahead, leading her to a large pasture that was towards the end of the woods. "I know I will need you when we become King and Queen. You are everything a Queen must be: intelligent, virtuous, honorable, beautiful, the list is honestly endless."
"Harry," Reina murmured quietly with flushed cheeks before they stopped.
"It is the truth, Reina, and I am positive you will be the best Queen this realm has ever had," he told her confidently, with a smile on his heart-shaped lips before he turned to face the huge pasture. "Here we are! I come here to ride often, I don't like our horse pastures as much. Feels confined. It is much spacious here."
Reina looked at Harry with an excited grin, making him smile back, ticking his head towards the wide-open field. She clicked her tongue, gently pressing the heels of her feet against the sides of Tariq, causing him to spring forwards. She noticed he was very responsive while she made him trot of a minute or so. But once she snapped the reins and dug her heels into him, he propelled forwards. Reina felt her heart pound wildly in her chest as she rode him beautifully, the thundering sound of his hooves filling up her ears as the wind wisped her hair and his braided mane into the air like black paint streaks against the evening sky.
Harry watched Reina ride the midnight stallion in awe, itching to gallop along with her on his pale horse, Celeste. But he held himself back for a few minutes, deciding to watch her enjoy herself for a few minutes. Harry's green eyes focused on the magnificent creature, noticing his muscles straining under his glossy, ebony coat when they edged close to Harry and Celeste. His heart leaped in his chest when he heard a joyful laugh from Reina, a smile drawling on his lips as he watched her hair whip as the wind called it; smile shining brighter than the stars that were beginning to appear above them.
Harry eventually joined them, cantering Celeste into the open field. Reina slowed down to watch Harry ride his horse, lips parting in slight awe at how perfect he looked riding his horse. He had Celeste in a slow canter, moving slower than Reina was but still faster than trotting. Reina sat straight on her horse and watching Harry transition from cantering to galloping. It was incredible how fast the horse moved with him controlling it, swiftly and powerfully as her muscular limbs tore into the grassy ground. His chocolate curls whipped in the air as he made a swift turn when he neared Reina, Celeste tossing her head back with a neigh when she came too close to Tariq.
Reina chuckled a little at their encounter, reaching down to pat the side of Tariq's neck, rubbing him down and cooing at him. Her eyes met Harry's as she spoke, her cheeks flushing as she smiled shyly. She felt that he had successfully lifted her spirits up, after the few lonely, down days she's been having, it was such a relief for her to laugh and smile again. This time genuinely.
After a few more rounds of cantering and galloping, Harry decided to take Reina to a special place on the top of a hill where they could see The Styles Palace. Halfway through climbing it with the horses, Reina and Harry left them with Sebastian and Fredric before climbing up the rest of it themselves and reaching the top. Harry took his cape off, and set it on the ground with a smirk, gesturing for Reina to sit on it. She smirked at him in amusement, pulling the hood of her cape down and lowering herself to sit on the laid out cape.
"So, what's riding a dragon like?" Harry questioned as he sat down next to her, then deciding to lie down on his back.
"It's...phenomenal," Reina murmured with a smile as she lay down beside him. "The feeling is quite indescribable."
"Truly? I want to ride one," Harry whispered, his tone full of longing and desire. "I saw one during the rebellion."
"You fought in the rebellion?" Reina widened her eyes a little, turning to lie on her side to gaze at him better.
"Yes I did," Harry muttered a little uncomfortably. It was a dark and frightening time for him, despite him being so brave on the battlefield. He never liked talking about it, but in this case he figured he only had to talk about the dragons, so he made an exception.
"Seeing those dragons up close, breathing fire...it was terrifying. My father forced Fredric to take me back to the castle when the dragons arrived. He didn't want his heir dying," he murmured a little bitterly.
"I'm glad you're alive and safe," Reina whispered to him a little playfully, making him chuckle. But she was truly genuine. "The war was a mess. My father asked me to lead all the dragons but I refused after the first battle. Him and Reyes took their own ones. They couldn't take mine, Vaera, because she was pregnant at the time."
"I remember seeing Reyes I think," Harry mumbled quietly, reminiscing the horrors of the rebellion. "He looked fucking wicked on his dragon."
"Taerion," Reina whispered, feeling her heart ache for the beautiful, bronze dragon that lost its life in that pointless rebellion.
"It pained my heart to see those dragons die. But my father's men were ruthless, and they were going to kill us so...we had to," Harry spoke hesitantly, noticing the sad expression that had etched onto her face. "But hey, at least we have three new dragons. Three babies!"
"We do," Reina smiled in response at his excited expression. "When they're big enough I will teach you how to ride them."
"Really? Oh I truly cannot wait," Harry grinned widely, the corners of his eyes crinkling as his lips stretched widely over his pearly white teeth.
A comfortable silence fell over them as they were suddenly caught up in an intense gaze, green eyes burning into each other's, as they lay close. Harry felt the urge to kiss her, tongue poking out to lick his lips as he held her gaze, trying to show that she didn't faze him. Reina inched closer to him, her eyes lowering to linger on his kissable lips. Harry felt himself grow hot, craving the feeling of her lips kissing his. But then she spoke up lowly, causing his thoughts to dissipate.
"Do you want to kiss me, Harry?" she whispered to him, her lips incredibly close to his, nose brushing his as they continued to gaze at one another.
"Yes," Harry mumbled in response, watching his every word because he was afraid he'd say something wrong and upset her.
"How bad?"
"Reina," Harry murmured lowly, hand reaching up to trace her jaw with his ring-clad fingers. "You haven't any idea of how much I am aching to ravish those perfect lips of yours."
"I would most probably get an idea if I kiss you," Reina teased, pulling her head back slightly, causing Harry's face to fall.
"If? Don't you mean when?" Harry arched his brows at her with his lips curling into a smirk.
"Perhaps when we get back to the castle," she told him, sitting up immediately and standing up.
Harry grumbled lightly under his breath but shut his mouth when Reina shot him a look. They walked back down the hill to wear Fredric and Sebastian was sitting with their horses, Reina's and Harry nearby. They mounted their horses and headed back to the castle. For a few minutes, Harry rode by Sebastian's side, conversing with him quietly while Reina and Fredric rode behind them. Reina talked to Fredric a little bit about horses before silence fell over them as Reina started remembering her sweet horse back home.
However, she was distracted momentarily when she heard the rustling of leaves behind her. Her head whipped back, frowning deeply but her eyes couldn't pick up anything. It was pitch black, and they only had two lanterns leading them back to the city. Reina assumed that it was most probably just an animal of some sort, scurrying around. But she felt the hairs of her skin stand up despite her trying to reassure herself. Her head snapped to the right when she heard the rustling again.
"Fredric, did you hear that?" Reina questioned sharply, looking at him slightly worriedly. He frowned at her lightly, noticing her gazing towards her right.
"Must be a squirrel, m'lady," he assured her quietly, holding up the lantern towards her side, revealing nothing but trees, branches full of leaves hanging low.
Reina nodded slowly in response, sighing in slight relief when she saw that lights of the city closer now. Soon enough the entered the city and headed back to the castle, Reina now riding in front with Harry while Sebastian and Fredric brought up the back. The rustling of leaves and breaking of branches continued even after Reina was safely inside the city again. It carried on until figures appeared from out of the woods, the dim lighting of the lanterns in city illuminating their bodies as they stood at the edge of the forest.
As they came together in front of the entrance to the city, the light of the torches that stood by the sides shone on their masks. A golden mask with foreign markings engraved into it. Their hands rested upon the knives and swords they had hanging on their belts. The one stood in front looked at the others, and they looked back at him. He parted his lips to speak in a language that was undistinguishable for most people, before he nodded curtly at his followers and headed into the city.
All must die.

❈ soooooo I'm sorry if the chapter was a lil boring! But what did you thin anyways?
❈ let me just explain this foreigner thing a bit more.
SO the girl playing Reina is Nisrina Sbia. She's Moroccan and a Muslim.
I wanted to tie that in with this book but obviously Morocco and Islam isn't a thing in this fictional world, I decided that like Arabs, Middle-Easterners, Arab-Berbers and etc. are all 'foreigners' in this book. They're called foreigners and they come from the foreign lands of Khidos.
Reina is half "foreigner" and so is her brother because their mother is a pure foreigner. So like "white people" which is pretty much everyone in the kingdom are like discriminative and racist towards these foreigners just as they are towards black people. But foreigners are lower than black people in this fictional realm.
I hope that clears things up a bit! I'll make sure to make the next update more interesting (;
Until we meet again...
