So Heavy Crown recently got 200K views, which is incredible! Thank you to every single one of you for reading this book, voting and commenting, just overall supporting this book in every way. I love you all so much!

I thought to sort of celebrate by running a one-shot contest because I've seen other authors do this and it looks cool and fun. I hope there'll be a decent amount of participants and not just one or two 'cause that would suck ass, but hey I think I'd be happy to see even ONE entry. Actually three because there has to be three winners

So if you're interested in entering, please do because I'd love to see your entries and your ideas, and please don't worry about like the quality of your writing because to me all I care about is your creativity and how well you know the characters and the book enough to do an amazing one-shot. So please, give it go if you're interested, don't worry about judgement because I'm sure I'll love every single one of them ❤️

So here are the "rules" or just general outlines of the competition.

Rules:

↦ To enter, you must comment here if you want to do it, so that I know who exactly is planning to enter.

↦ The one-shot has to be related to Heavy Crown obviously, and it can really be about anything. Since we're at the point in the book were Harry has done some cute stuff to make up to Reina, and they're just at a good point in their relationship, I thought this contest would be fitting because you guys can do fluff one shots where Harry does cute stuff for Reina, like I dunno, planning cute dates like picnics in the castle grounds.

  Or even funny one shots like Reina and Harry roasting Gemma I DUNNO! Serious one shots like the Followers of Messiah ambushing again, Reina saves Harry or Harry saves Reina. Anything really, dragon eggs hatching, Reina getting pregnant, whatever you want. These are all ideas.

It also doesn't have to be just Reina and Harry, it could even be JON and Reina, since there hasn't been much shown about their relationship, it's a much broader thing to write about if that makes any sense. There could even be smutty one shots with Reina and Harry ;)

↦ The day to submit entries starts TODAY (basically as soon as this is published) December 31st 2017, till the 11th of Jan, which is the deadline. No entries will be considered after that.

↦ If you are participating, you will NOTIFY me by DM, and at the start of your one-shot write something like one-shot for @macklemcvey, or dedicate it to me so that I get tagged in it and am notified. BASICALLY just notify me one way or the other.

↦ I will be reading all of the one-shots, voting and commenting. I will also be adding them all to a reading list on my profile named "WOMAN", including the winners and all the participants' one-shots.

↦ There will be three winners, they will receive a sticker for the cover of the one-shot (yes I made a sticker for the one-shots it's cute and took me half an hour to make) and a list of prizes for them to pick from.

1st Place: 3 choices from the list

2nd Place: 2 choices

3rd Place: 1 choice

[NOTE: this might change depending on if I find more prizes ideas to increase the list.]

↦ Anyways these are the prizes:

♖ A chapter dedication, I'll mention you name and everything in the opening A/N of the chapter instead of JUST dedicating the chapter.

♖ A book cover. I make pretty decent ones as shown below, I'm not a PHOTOSHOP whiz but I'm alright at it.

♖ A banner, same as what's said above, here are a few examples.

♖ A character in either Heavy Crown, or future upcoming books, named after you.

♖ A personalized one-shot of Heavy Crown written by me for you and your eyes only, (I could write that Jaide/Harry/Reina threesome if you wanted, since I'm not actually gonna do that in the book).

♖ The next few chapters of Heavy Crown, as soon as I finish writing, you'll get to read them before I publish it. So the next chapter, and maybe two more, when I write them I can either email or send pics of them to you so you'll get to read it before anyone else does.

I'll try my hardest to come up with more prize ideas and expand this list, please comment some if you have any in mind but remember that I won't do book reviews AND PROMOTIONS.

❃ I'm sorry if you wanted one of the prizes to be me reviewing your personal works and giving you feedback. I've explained this in my Rambles book, and I'll do it again. I don't want to do that sort of prize because I don't want to comment on people's works and writing styles and tell them what's right and wrong just because I don't agree with it and it doesn't suit what my perception of good writing is. I'm not a professional so I'm not gonna be pretentious as fuck and tell you what's right and wrong.

Plus I already do a sort of writing advice/tips, and how to be successful on wattpad series on my personal book RAMBLES. There I have more general tips and tricks to make creative writing a little easier, and etc.

❃ My thing with promoting other people's works is that I'm iffy about it, because one I had like what 400 followers or something I would promote my books MYSELF and never ask for help. I know sometimes it CAN help, but honestly I'm just not the person to ask for it. In my opinion, if you wanna big on wattpad, it's through hard work and self-promotion. At the end of the day, when you finally become big, you don't want to look back and be like yeah it was all because that one author gave me a shoutout. NO. You wanna be that boss bitch who did it all yourself!

So yes no promotion prizes or book reviews, which is sucky because those are usually the prizes of contests like these, but you've heard my reasons, please respect and understand :)

I hope a lot of you decide to do this, I think it'll be fun and interesting. I certainly can't wait to see what you guys come up with, and once again please don't worry about me judging your writing. As long as your idea for your one-shot is good, I can look over writing or whatever. Of course I will be taking the writing into consideration when judging, but I'm not gonna be like omg this is so shit or whatever. i ain't cruel.

Other than that, I will be updating Heavy Crown during that time, and when I choose the winners, I will update this chapter again and message the winners.
