But yet the humans that left the mother earth declared that they were the rightful owners of the technology, they formed the imperial vers empire and declared war against their earthbound counter parts. Each side created hyper-advanced mechanical units called Kataphrakts. The Ver empire was governed by the empire, then his sons, the kings below him, But only with the blood of the empire may activate aldnoah. Meaning only him and his decent and then there descendants may ativat. The empire name 37 knights to serve under him. Each knight was given the activation factor to active Aldnoah, Only the royal family and those give the factor may activate and deactivate aldnoah. Using there new found powers, they created Kataphrakts that each had different and unique ability thanks to there aldnoah drives. They also created "landing castles" that floated around earth in a orbital pattern and was such called the orbital "castles" and were commanded by knights appointed by the ver empire. To Combat this new threat the "terrians" as the ver empire called the, created two versions of their own kataphrakts. The KG-6 Sleipnir and the KG-7 Areion. Both being over classed by the vers kataphrakts, but with careful planning and strategies, A earth kataphrakt can hold its own and even win a fight. After the founding of the ver empire and the united forces of Earth. Both sides fought over the moon, ultimately leading to heavens fall. The moon imploded and sent dozens of tons of rock to the earth's sources. The earth crust was destroyed but yet the terrians served an built again. The rock that did not fall to earth formed a "belt" around earth, similar to Saturn and its rings. This story takes place 20 years after heavens fall.
