Willing to wait
Allura covered her eyes as she walked into a room for a break with a headache coming in, she let out a trouble sigh but gasped softly seeing Lotor looking through blue prints that hunk left behind.
They looked at each other, Allura was surprised being alone with him as Lotor didn't seem pleased.
"You can leave if you want," Lotor said flatly.
"I am at the moment unable to move," he motioned to his leg and she squealed a little embarrassed.
"I just needed a break," she sighed leaning against the wall.
"We got into Sendak's memories, they're troubling... hard to hear even now," Allura gulped a little.
"He's always been like Zarkon, even when I was a kit, aggressive and violent like my father," Lotor agreed.
"You grew up with him?" Allura tilted her head to the side.
"He always hated me even as a child, he's still a bastard," Lotor rolled his eyes. "What do you want?"
"So your not being locked away?" She asked confused.
"Apparently, for now until that admiral changes her mind, there's something about her I do not like," Lotor nodded a little with a glare. It was silent once more.
"Princess please leave," he said flatly. "I'm not comfortable with you alone in here,"
"What? Why?" Allura was taken back.
"I'm disabled and we're not on good terms," Lotor quirked a brow and her cheeks flushed quickly.
"Is it because I kissed you?" She huffed.
"I was going to say because you attacked me verbally and physically but yes that too, you obviously have no respect for boundaries," Lotor sighed a little.
"Allura I literally cannot walk away from the situation, go," he grew irritated.
"At least your not throwing mixed signals over this," she scoffed turning around.
"Mixed signals?! I beg your pardon I never even gave got signals I was interested!" He cried out in disbelief.
"We spent a lot of time together," Allura crossed her arms with a sigh.
"Because we were studying my mothers work!" His jaw dropped shocked.
"I gave you access to my empire and altean work, that is not me flirting Princess," he told her still in awe of how far her arrogance was.
"Also, also I would like to add before I'm in another near death experience, I was in a relationship with your Paladin, whom you said and I quote forgot about that we were in said relationship, again, boundaries!" Lotor rambled with his also pent up anger of the situation.
"I apologized," she made a face.
"Oh is that all it takes? An apology?" He pouted sarcastically.
"Well Princess Allura I am sorry for trying to kill you last battle, all good and dandy now are we?" Lotor offered a fake smile.
"You're not funny," she said flatly.
"I think I have my moments," he hummed.
"I know no one is going to get along, not with the tension of all of us, we need to set it aside," Allura sighed crossing her arms.
"Does this mean I'm going to get that therapy I've heard so much about?" He smirked knowing it would irk her.
"Stop it," she glared.
"You can leave if you'd like too! I'm stuck till the Paladin comes back!" Lotor frantically motioned to the door.
"Which Paladin?" Allura asked confused.
"The yellow one?" He guessed.
"You don't know his name?!" She cried out.
"I'll be honest, I only know keiths name, there's the other altean, the champion, the small one and the big one, and lance of course, ah- and that other altean, blond bitch," Lotor snapped his fingers as Allura covered her face shaking her head.
"Coran, Shiro, Pidge, hunk, Romelle," she stated dryly.
"Whos kosmo then?" Lotor was still lost.
"The dog!"
"I thought that was Romelle," Lotor covered his mouth wide eyes.
Allura covered her own mouth to hide a small giggle at his blunt confusion. She laughed a little shaking her head but heard foot steps.
"Oh Allura, awesome," lance walked in hearing her laugh but paused looking surprised seeing Lotor.
"I-I- am I interrupting?" Lance took a step back as lotors heart dropped.
"Uh no, what can I help you with lance?" Allura smiled at him awkwardly.
"I didn't know if you've seen Veronica, I'll just go.. go ask someone else, sorry," lance blushed a little turning around.
"Lance no there was nothing happening," Lotor reached out but he was already gone.
"No," Lotor breathed.
"He's still upset with us," Allura closed her eyes with a sigh.
"There is no us, go, there's no reason for you and I to speak alone," Lotor clutched his fist at his chance to speak to lance.
Allura paused but nodded seeing how Lotor was silent. She left as he touched his leg gently.
"Dammit," he breathed. He was so stupid... he couldn't even run any more... he hated this helpless feeling.
Lotor closed his eyes putting his face in his hand, how could he still have so much of this feeling for Lance after everything, the same feeling he had for his love before everything. When it was just them. Automatically feeling like he was better everytime lance was near him, those moments fighting and arguing earlier was the best Lotor felt this whole trip. Just being close to him now it felt like his world lit up before lance ran out. He just wanted him back. He wanted to gain lances trust at least, he didn't care if it took months or years, he'd wait as long as he needed too.
