"Red lion checking in!"

There was a sigh of relief in the quarters as Shiro lost the tension in his shoulders and lotor tilted his head back with a sigh. He thanked the stars.

"We have all lions! It worked," iverson smiled next to Lotor as everyone cheered.

Minutes went by as the lions where attacking the bases but there was suddenly an overwhelming amount of galra ships on top of them, blasting the lions as cruisers filled the sky.

"I'm pinned down!" Pidge cried out as she tried getting out from the ground area.

"Keith what do we do?" Griffin called through, it was happening to all of them.

"Do what you have to do! We can't let those canons launch!" Keith commanded sternly as he used black to fight back against the cruisers that kept firing at him.

Shiro listened to his teams screams and cry's, for backup, for orders, for anything. He stared at the screen seeing more galra coming. They weren't going to win this way. There was to many.

"They were ready for us," Shiro breathed. He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned seeing Adam looking concerned.

"What do you want to do?" Adam asked calmly.

Each base started to open and raise the canons from the inside, all of them were synced.

"Stop them from launching the canons!" Keith called ignoring the cruisers and focused on destroying the canons now.

"I can't get near base one," lance told him as he was blocked off each time he got close.

"Base six is launching," Griffin agreed.

"I can't stop the launch!"

"Me neither,"

"How did this happen?!"

"Sendak must've known we were coming, but how?" Keith gulped as he was once again blocked off.

Not a moment later the canons launched before they got another chance.

"It's to late, we're exposed and Sendak knows we're here with our lions," Allura growled frustrated seeing her base launched.

"Now what?" Lance pulled back a little. He gripped his controls tightly, once again red saved his life, taking out that fighter and giving Veronica a chance to return to the garrisons, but now they were all to late.

"MFE's return to the garrison," Keith narrowed his eyes.

"Roger that,"

"Paladins we need to take out Sendak, that's our last option, everyone converge," Keith told them sternly and they nodded retreating their base and flying through earth's atmosphere to space once again following the canons.

They could see each other from each point around earth, they all flew straight at each other racing seeing the canons joining and charging up. Within the flash of the lions, voltron formed in time to take on the canons blast that should've taken out earth.

Luckily voltron was strong enough to stop the blast from earth but it took everything with. The lions were down and in Sendak's reach.

And there was nothing to stop Sendak from taking the unconscious Paladins.

"Where did those shots come from?" Sam stood with the others as Shiro was in shock seeing the canons and no Paladins responding.

"The zaiforge canons, meaning Sendak was ready," Lotor looked at Shiro frowning.

"How?" Coran asked confused.

"Where's admiral sanda?" Sam looked around for the leader but she was no where to be seen.

"Sir she's been gone since our mission briefing," Adam told them standing by Shiros side.

"Paladins are you there?" Shiro called to his team.

Statics.

"Keith? Anyone? Are you there?"

Lotors fist shook. He knew better, Sendak got them.

"What weapons do you have available commander holt?" Lotor asked with sharp eyes.

"Fusion canons but that fleet is out of range," Sam nodded.

"What about the MFE's?" Shiro raised a brow.

"The mission depleted their power, they're charging now," he told them but Coran stepped over to them.

"Even with the pilots Sendak still has an entire fleet," Coran looked at them just as lost for a plan.

"We need to get them back, we have to do something," Shiro snapped a little but paused controlling his temper.

"What about the atlas?" He sighed.

"We've had zero success launching it," sam shook his head.

"Veronica monitor the fleet, let us know of any changes," Shiro looked over at the girl as she was changed out of the other uniform into clean clothes and was able to clean off her blood nose.

"Yes sir," she nodded.

"Lotor your with me, we're getting that ship off the ground," the old Paladin looked at the galra.

The two exited the room to get to the atlas first but Shiro walked slower to have a moment alone with the galra.

"Sendak got the Paladins, what are the chances he'll just leave them in a cell?" Shiro asked in a low tone and Lotor looked down.

"Hard to say, I just want to know which of these humans has a connection to Sendak because there was no way he would've known if the attack," Lotor growled looking back at him.

"You stay by me, if the traitor is among us then I'm sure they'll try throwing You under as their failure," Shiro nodded sternly understanding as Lotor did so.

"Yes sir," he agreed. He respected the black Paladin, he knows this is the man that was the voltrons leader, he knew this man would be the success of the garrisons.

Keith groaned as he saw a purple hue around him as he laid on the metal floor. This was definitely not the black lion.

He cracked one eye open seeing sentries all around as well as his team also unconscious.

"I delivered you the lions as you requested-" admiral sanda? Why was she on Sendak's ship.

"Now it's time you uphold your end of the bargain," she hissed as Sendak was standing over her unamused.

"Hand over the Paladins to me and leave earth,"

Sendak's eyes were on lance.

Keith tried to keep his breathing down so they wouldn't see he was awake but the look of hate on Sendak's face seeing Lance was disturbing.

"That won't be happening,"

"We made a deal," sanda gasped a little as Sendak pushed at lance a little.

"I've been meaning to get my hands on this one specifically but you will be joining the Paladins in the brig," he told them as Keith heard sanda yell back when she was taken away.

"Continue assault and move the zaiforge canons into position," Sendak commanded as Keith couldn't keep his eyes open anymore and fell back unconscious.

"I'm detecting movement from the zaiforge canons," Veronica called back from her screen as iverson was close by.

"Where are they headed?" Iverson looked over.

"Based on our projections... they're converging over our location," her eyes widen a little surprised. This couldn't be good.

"How much time do we have before the canons arrive?" Shiro asked through his communicator.

"By our calculations less than two hours," Veronica pursed her lips inhaling deeply.

"Veronica transfer all data from mission control to the atlas," Sam replied knowing they were running out of time.

"Yes sir,"

"Commander iversion, get all personnel aboard this ship immediately," Sam continued as he and Coran joined Shiro and Lotor.

"Yes sir," iverson turned to the paging speaker to announce for the report.

"All personnel report to atlas bay immediately, this is not a drill," he barked clearly for everyone to understand.

"The MFE's are almost at 100 percent to charge," Griffin said as he was with his team down in the bay.

"Good, we'll need you airborne," Shiro nodded relieved that they were going fast.

"We're shutting down the particle barrier,"
