Keith gasped awake immediately getting to his feet and slammed his hands on the metal door. He was in a cell, he was alone in a cell.

"Lance?! Allura! Pidge! Hunk!" Keith yelled for his team hitting the wall. He reached back for his bayard but it was taken from him. Shit.

"Hello!" He yelled again.

"I'm here," hunk called back.

"Me too," Pidge sighed in her own cell.

"How long have we been out?" Hunk asked sitting against the wall.

"Looks like we've lost an hour or so," the green Paladin brought up her computer.

"What happened?" Allura asked sounding tired.

"We're on Sendak's ship," Keith sighed sitting back down with his eyes closed.

"Admiral sanda, she sold us out," he brought his knees to his chest.

"What?" Pidge was in disbelief.

"He said he'd leave earth if he had the lions.. but he lied to me," a quiet voice spoke up and Keith eyes widen hearing sanda.

"This is all my fault," sanda sounded disappointed.

"I wanted to protect my people and now I've doomed them, I'm so sorry," she whispered hugging her body tightly.

"Admiral, what is Sendak's plan?" Keith asked with a small gulp.

"Sendak is moving his canons into position, he's going to destroy earth," she told them. "Please you must know I wanted to save earth,"

"Sir it appears they have lowered their particle barrier," a commander told Sendak as they pulled up the garrisons.

"How long until the cannons are charged and in position?" Sendak narrowed his eyes but heard a small gasped behind him.

"One varga,"

Lance groaned laying on his side as he felt his body tingling from the attack before, he felt a rough hand yank him up to sit up.

"Get off!" Lance snarled moving away but he was forced to sit on his knees and stayed there.

"Sendak," lances eyes widen looking up at the galra.

"Lotors general," he smiled cruelly down at him.

"Tell me, where is Lotor now? Still letting pathetic humans do his work?" Sendak chuckled darkly.

"Lotors dead," lance snarled back.

"You're a foolish child and a terrible liar," he raised a brow as lance glared up at him.

"I promised Lotor terrible things if I ever got my hands on you, that boys most prized possession," Sendak smiled a little like lance was a trophy.

"I'm not his fucking prize," lance spat.

"But your my prize now," he grabbed lances neck with his large prosthetic hand.

"I promised him I'd have his heart beaten and changed to my throne, and he would watch, but tell me the humans plan I may show mercy," Sendak pulled lance close as there was no fear in the Paladins eyes.

"That barrier is down, it's your only line of defense, what are they planning?" He asked calmly.

"I've been on your stupid ship, how am I supposed to know, puppet," lance smiled back.

Sendak growled and threw lance across the floor as he cried out when he hit the wall. Lance let out a shriek when electricity hit him from a soldier on the side striking him with a staff.

"You can think this is a game but even games don't last forever," Sendak towered over him as  lance panted trying to catch his breath. The staff jabbed against his back and sent another strong bolt of electricity through the young warrior who screamed alone.

"Hit the base with everything we got," he looked back at the commanders.

Lance tried getting back up but Sendak grabbed his forearm and with an easy squeeze there was a sharp snap. Lances jaw dropped as he stopped breathing for a moment at the feeling arm his arm being snapped with ease. Another jab from the staff he let out another shriek.

The base of the garrisons trembled as the galra attacked firing what they had with no defense when the particle barrier was down and the atlas was still on the ground.

The mfe pilots flew through the smoke ready to defend the base and give them more time.

"Rizavi, Kinkade, Draw their fire away from the base," Griffin commanded his team as they avoided the blasts from the cruiser. "Leifsdottir you're with Me, hit them hard and hit them quick,"

"Let's buy our team some time!" He exclaimed as everyone was on board.

"We got it, it's charge," sam called to the atlas as the data was downloaded and they were preparing the atlas as fast as they could.

"Is everyone aboard?" Shiro asked loudly.

"The garrison is cleared, we're all in," iverson confirmed.

"Prepare for launch," Shiro nodded taking charge.

Coran, Iverson and Veronica sat in front of shiros platform that gave them the leverage as Sam, Adam and Lotor sat behind him with their own screens helping to launch the large ship. Suddenly a warning alert came to their screens stopping the launch.

"No," Shiro growled.

They all cried out when the ship dropped down to the earth even with it not being far off the ground it still caused a ruckus.

"I've built a ship that's useless," Sam growled next to Adam.

"It would take the power of several supermassive black holes to get this hunk of metal off the ground," he bowed his head down but Lotor sat up suddenly and ran over to Coran.

"Mister Coran, would this be of any use?" Lotor showed Coran his ring he held at all times but Coran frowned.

"Lotor I'm flatters but-" "no the crystals," Lotor cut him off but corans eyes widen taking the ring and inspecting it.

"These are from oriande?" He asked confused and Lotor nodded.

"That little bit would be enough for the MFE's but unfortunately not for a ship this large, if it was a tad bigger possible," Coran pursed his lips and Lotor nodded.

"Wait your onto something!" Coran gasped and pulled out his own necklace with a large crystal that would've been plenty enough.

"Why didn't I think of this before! Infinite mass," he beamed brightly looking back at the hybrid.

"With our combination of crystals it will do the trick," he said joyful. Lotor gulped a little looking at the ring he made with the crystals, he made it for someone special...

"Here," Lotor placed it in his hand. "Do what you will to get this ship moving,"

Shiro saw the ring and his eyes widen watching Lotor go back to the seat determined.

"Commander holt, you'll want to see this," Shiro looked at the two aliens shocked at what power they held.

Sam ran over with his tablet screen and scanned the two jewels in corans hands and his eyes widen and jaw dropped at the power.

"The energy coming from these are incredible," Sam gasped.

"The crystal was created after the destruction of the castle of lions, and these are rare crystals only from Oriande, their power alone together could charge A whole city," Coran explained as the three stood in a circle.

"It's amalgamation of the quintessents field collapsing from infinite mass and altean magic into this tiny thing, and Lotors crystals are powerful as well," he nodded.

"We need to get it hooked up to the atlas immediately," Sam agreed looking at his screen.

In the center a machine came up and opened to the men that would be the energy source of the ship.

"This is where I originally planned to place a Balmeran crystal, it serves as the brains of the atlas," Sam told them as Coran held the crystals that began to glow getting close.

"We're going to have to figure out some way to accommodate for the difference in size, it'll take a fleet of engineer-" Coran stuck the large crystal inside and the ship took it with no problem as Sam was cut off.

There was a flash and the ship was alive full power.

"Oh,"

"I can't believe it, it's amazing!" Sams jaw dropped at the power all around them with everything uploading.

"Subsystem is fully powered," Veronica blinked shocked.

"Mega thrusters are go," Adam smiled.

"Veronica monitor the radars let us know what you see," Shiro placed his hands on the panel looking ahead.

"Commander iverson I need you on weapons, and Coran get the helm!" He commanded sternly and ready for battle.

"Yes captain," Adam nodded looking back at him. Shiro paused looking at the man as blush crawled across his face. He didn't deny the title.

No one did, they listened.

"The bridge is yours Shiro," Sam nodded.

"We could use an engineer," Shiro smiled back at him.

Coran walked over to Lotor and placed the ring on his panel, Lotors heart skipped a beat.

"Keep it, you'll need it one day," Coran placed a hand on his shoulder. "The ship will hold with the one crystal,"

"CaptIn the galra fleet is directly above the launch pad," Veronica told them from her station.

"Mfe squadron we need you to clear a path! The atlas is powered and ready for launch," Shiro called out as everyone was ready to go.
