CHAPTER FIVE
CELESTE WAS ABLE TO slip back into the house unnoticed. She was happy about what happened minutes ago, but decided to stay hush hush about it.
Mary Lou was busy doing something of some sort, so she joined Chasity with the flyers. The two have never really been close, but they would agree on certain subjects.
She heard a snap from upstairs, causing Celeste and Chasity to lift their heads to the noise. She could see Credence and Mary Lou on the upper level, immediately sister mode was activated.
Celeste walked up the stairs quietly to find a broken wand on the ground and a belt in Mary Lou's hand. Credence's head was stared at the floor and she saw Modesty watching from the door. Modesty looked as if she wanted to speak up, but looked too scared.
The wand must be hers. Celeste thought to herself and placed a kiss on Credence's cheek. "It was mine." She stepped in front of her baby brother, ready for whatever was going to come at her.
"How dare you." Mary Loud grabbed her by the chin roughly and then shoved her away with a loud and sent a hard slap to Celeste's cheek. "From all that I've done for you."
"You have done nothing for me." Celeste held her throbbing cheek as she glared at Mary Lou.
Suddenly the belt from Mary Lou's hand flew out and fell on the floor. Celeste gasped quietly as Mary Lou tried to reach for it again, but it flew away from her reach.
"What is this?"
Celeste began to inch closer to Credence and Modesty. She was scared. But when she looked at Credence his turned into that black fog like cloud she saw last night. Celeste began to step away, fear and confusion consuming her. Short and quick gasps left her lips as she looked over at Modesty who was paralyzed in her spot.
Mary Lou's screams filled the air as the black fog/cloud attacked her and she was thrown to the ground afterwards.
The building began to fall apart and Celeste pulled Modesty close to her body, trying to shield the young girl from the horror. The ceiling almost collapsed on them, but luckily Celeste picked Modesty up and ran away quickly.
Then there was silence. As Celeste looked around the place she once called home was in shackles. Tables were flipped, pieces of the ceiling was missing.
Even a part of the wall was gone. Modesty looked around in shock and pushed away from Celeste, afraid she was whatever Credence was and ran.
Celeste rubbed her face and began to mumble to herself. How can this happen? Is her brother okay? Where is Credence? She looked around the room, running down the broken stairs as she tried to look for him.
She looked away as she saw Mary Lou's body on the floor. Not breathing or moving. Celeste didn't know if she should feel sorry or anything, but knew she shouldn't have died like that at least. As she walked around the broken home she found a hand hanging out from under a fallen part of ceiling.
She didn't want to admit it, but she knew who it was. Chasity. The young girl had no right to die like that. She was only eighteen for crying out loud! Yes Celeste knew Chasity could be a hard ass at times, but she tried her best at least. Celeste looked at the arm sadly and then left the building behind, running down the streets trying to find her brother.
As she ran down the streets she mumbled, "Bub, what did you do?"

Celeste was on the verge of giving up. It was dark out and all the stores were closed. She didn't even have a place to go back and call home. Not to mention that she couldn't find her brother.
She walked down the dimly lit streets until she heard a loud crashing noise. Celeste turned around and saw the store 'Macy's' have some sort of commotion inside of it. Thinking that Credence was inside, she went inside the building and began to search the department store.
She saw the British man and Queenie along with two other people she's never met, lurking inside.
"Queens!" Celeste runs over to her friend and hugs her tightly.
"Celeste- w-what are you doing here, hun?" Queenie slowly hugged her back but pulled away.
"I thought Credence was inside. I've... sort of lost him." Celeste frowns at the statement she gave as Newt and the other women walked over.
"Mr. British Man, hi." She gave him a small wave and slight smile.
"It's Newt, but hello." He returned the smile, looking behind him to find a white and long haired creature walking.
"Queenie, you told me-" Tina began to scold her sister, but Celeste cut in.
"Don't blame her. Blame me. Now whatever that creature is going you might want to follow it." Celeste watched as the creature made eye contact with her and quickly run away.
"Is something wrong, Celeste?" Queenie asked, getting a different vibe from her than she did earlier in the day.
"Something like that." Newt looked at her curiously and glanced at her hands. Celeste saw and quickly held her hands behind her back and began to walk after the hairy creature.
She blocked all the talking out that was going on in the room and watched as the hairy creature feed a large bird, well she thought it was a bird. And when she says large, she meant at least the size of 5th Avenue Street.
Celeste watched as Newt walk over to the bird-like creature slowly and stayed completely still. She stood behind him in genuine curiosity.
"What is that...?"
"It's an Occamy." Newt whispered.
Queenie stepped forward to get a better look and that's when all hell broke loose. She accidentally moved a Christmas ornament, that made a bell noise and both creatures freaked out. The hairy one clinged onto the chubby man, who's name was Jacob, as the Occamy sweaked loudly and got Newt on his wing and began to enlarge in size.
"We need an insect. Any kind of insect. And a teapot." Newt called at all of them, the Occamy growing larger as everyone stood there in shock.
"Find a teapot." Newt groaned, holding onto the Occamy for dear life.
Everyone scrambled to find a insect. Celeste tried to get ahold of one on the floor, but it got away. She was able to find a teapot though. It was rather small, but hey, it was a teapot.
"Teapot! I found one!" She yelled, holding it out.
The Occamy stopped moving and all eyes went on Jacob. He held a cockroach in his hand and had a stressed and scared look on his face.
"Roach in teapot." Newt jut his head in Celeste's direction which was a good two meters or so away.
Jacob gave Celeste a nervous look, softly peting the Occamy and made a noise. Everything went in slow motion once he threw the roach. The Occamy began to move away from everyone and followed the roach in the air. Celeste ran over to the roach as it flew in the air. She jumped over a pile of broken boxes and held the teapot out in front of her as she jumped over the creatures body. Luckily Celeste was able to catch the roach inside.
The Occamy followed the roaches trail and flew over Celeste, skrinking in size. In that very moment Celeste thought she was done for. She ducked her head in between her arms and heard something hit the teapot and looked up. No Occamy in sight.
"That just happened." Celeste said out loud by accident.
"Indeed." Newt sent her uneasy smile.
"Now tell me the truth, was that all that came out from that case." Tina walked over slowly as Newt held a large top to a teapot over the opening.
"That is all. And that is the truth." Newt chuckled, causing Celeste to smile small almost forgetting about the situation she was having.
Almost.
