The front door of the McNamara mansion opened. In the doorway stood Heather Chandler, the alpha female of Westerburg. She looked over at her friend Heather, who was curled up on the couch eating ice cream and keeping her eyes glued to the tv. Her face looked somber and the dark room gave a depressing ambiance. Mcnamara looked up at Chandler and said," Is everything alright Heather?"

Heather sat down next to the girl in a dark yellow shirt on the couch. "I should be asking you that question. You missed school today, you haven't been at cheer practice in a week, and for God's sake, you're watching a Disney compilation."

"But I like Disney!"

"It's a Disney death scene compilation!"

Heather sighed. She knew her friend in red was right. "I guess I just haven't been feeling myself lately." She could feel a lump rising in her throat and her voice getting weaker. And she knew Heather could hear it too. Chandler lightly touched her hand. "You know me, Heather, and Veronica will always be willing to listen to you." She wrapped her arms around her upset friend and brought her into a tight hug. Before she knew what she was doing or could stop herself, Mcnamara started sobbing into her friend's shoulder.

"I-I- I feel like I've lost m-myself in everything. The girls at cheer c-call me d-d-dyke and always be-beat me when Coach is gone. Even my p-p-parents give d-dirty looks. I can't han-handle it anym-more." The tears kept pouring out, like she had an infinite amount stored up in her that finally burst open. Heather stroked the tearful's girl's beautiful, beach blonde hair as she held her in her arms. Her heart shattered to pieces to hear about her being hurt. She took a long, slow breath in. She hugged her just a little tired before facing up to her. "Heather, look at me", she said. The girl didn't move. "Heather, please look at me," she said, now tilting her head up. Those big, brown eyes always got her. She somehow managed to look adorable, even while breaking down. Having calmed down the slightest bit, she whimpered,"What?"

That was when Chandler pulled her close and put her lips against the girl's. Mcnamara was taken by surprise, but she kissed back. She had never truly known what it felt like to really be loved until this very moment. In that moment, she felt all her worries melt away slowly as Heather made her feel loved. They finally pulled away after what felt like not long enough. Chandler smirked at Heather's shocked face.

"I hope you feel a little better."

Mcnamara smiled. She turned off the Disney compilation and turned the tv off. "Does that answer your question?" she giggled. They kissed again. "I love you!!" Mcnamara exclaimed. Feeling it was too soon, she quickly covered her mouth. Chandler smiled. "I love you too. Just remember.. I'm here for you."

Ahhhh!!!!! I can't believe I just wrote my first oneshot. While I do believe there is a lot of room for improvement, I think I did okay for a first time.
