Lauren's POV

I can't believe I hurt Alex. Gosh I'm so stupid. Tip, don't fight over a girl who likes someone else. Just learn to live with it. Or better yet don't be the reason she goes to the other girl. Geez, I hope Dani doesn't hate me. I hope she understands it was an accident.

Just then there was a knock on my bedroom door. I get up and open it and come face to face with a raged looking Dani. "Ho-"

She cut me off "Your mom let me in" she says the pushes her way past me.

I close my door behind her "Why are you here" I ask

"Why would you hurt Alex? Or even accept Lisa's challenge? YOU are supposed to let me go." Dani says in a threatening tone

"Dani you act like-" I was cut off again by Dani

"It is that easy Lauren. We were cool friends. You could just let me go to Lisa. Why do you insist on ruining my happiness"

"Ruining your happiness? You don't even like Lisa like you like me so cut the crap Dani" I say getting irritated.

"You don't know how I feel, Lauren. I did love you but that's changed. You almost killed Lisa and Alex. You don't even deserve me talking to you right now" she says

"Then why are you talking to me?" I ask her

"Because you need to be taught. You don't hurt the people I care about Lauren. When you do, you end up hurting yourself" she threatens "Just watch your back"

"It that a threat?" I ask

"No, it's a promise" she says "If you come near me or anyone I care about again. Blood will be spilled. And I promise it will be yours"

I stood in shock for a second. Did Dani actually just threaten my life? "I thought you cared about me?"

"I did, but that all changed. The second you harmed Lisa and Alex. They are like family to me. And you could have murdered one of them because you can't get over the fact that I will never be yours. I didn't want it to be like this, Lauren. I really wish it wasn't" she says her eyes softening as she leaves the room.

Would Dani really harm me if I even went near them again? Or was she just saying that in the heat of the moment?
