Dani's POV

Breath in. Breath out. Ugh, I hate that Lauren. She is always leading people on. Why the hell did I fall in her little  trap?

"Dani?" I hear a knock on the closet door.

"Go away, I don't want to hurt you Lisa" I say trying to control my anger.

"Well, I'm coming in" she says opening the door coming in closing it behind her locking it.

"Lisa leave now!" I yell

"No! Tell me what happened in the cafeteria" she says

Just thinking about that makes me angrier. I start pacing back and forth.

"Dani just calm down and breath" Lisa says and grabs my arm making me stop.

"How?! How can I calm down?! I have had a crush on Lauren since the fifth grade! And she finally maybe returns those feeling and I find out she really doesn't! That she's just toying with me!" I yell

"Dani your eyes" she tells me

"I don't care! How could she?! How could she just play me like that Lisa?" I say breaking down crying.

"I don't know, Dani. But look at the bright side you now know not to trust her again" she tells me hugging me rubbing my back.

"I never want to see her again. But I have to, I have to see her every month until I can learn to control my self" I say hugging Lisa

"Hey, don't even worry about. Just pretend like she isn't even there" Lisa says

"So, basically treat her like she doesn't exist?" I ask

Lisa nods "That's exactly how you treat her. And even if she apologizes you can't forgive her. Because she will act different behind closed doors. But exactly like she always has around her friends and you don't need to go through that"

I pull away from Lisa wiping my eyes taking deep breaths "Thank you"

"Hey what is family for?" She jokes

"You aren't my real family, Lisa" I say laughing a little

"Look point being, I will always be hear for you" Lisa says "Now let's go face the world"

I sigh and walk out the closet with Lisa and the first thing I see is Lauren and her little 'friends'

"Awe look they just came out the closet together" Lana says

I was about to tell her off when Lisa says "Just ignore them Dani that's what's I do"

"Danielle Lee Nicole!" I hear my mother yell

"Yes Mother?" I say stopping halfway up the stairs turning to look at her

"Why are you home so late and Why did I get a call from the school today saying you got into a fight?" She asks

"I had soccer practice. I got on the team remember? And because I did" I say and finish walking up the stairs

"Danielle Nicole! You got into a fight!?" My fathers voice boomed

I stop once at the top of the stairs "Yes, Lauren called me a freak. And I wasn't going to take that from her. I won't take it from anyone"
