Lauren's POV

Maybe they are nice people, two months ago my life was perfect. And then, this weird thing happened to me. Mom said I had to meet this couple cause apparently I was going to their house because they had kids who were like me. Like me? I didn't even know what I was until last month. All I knew is my parents found it normal.

"Are you Lauren?" A girl who looked about 22 asked. I nodded my head. "Well, Hello. I'm Christina. My mom had to set up for tonight. So I came." She says

"Oh, okay. So you are one of the kids they were talking about?" I ask as we walk out to her car

She shakes her head. "No, My sister Lisa and brother Alex and a family friend, Dani. And soon enough my brothers Christian, Nick, and Joey. My brother Mike, my sister Katherine, and I all learned at at most eighteen." She explains, unlocking her car getting in

"Oh" I say getting in the car.

"Don't worry. Dani and Alex are in your grade. And Lisa is only a year older then you. You probably have seen them around school before" Christina says

"I'm home!" Christina yells as we walk in through the front door.

I heard a loud bang come from the next room over followed by "Dani!"

And then I hear that voice I hate ever so much "I'm sorry! Chrissy scared me by yelling!"

"Y'all both are now yelling, stop it" Christina says

A girl with long black hair come out of the room "You started it" she says and sticks her tongue out.

Christina shakes her head "Lisa this is Lauren. Lauren this is Lisa."

Lisa sticks her hand out and shakes mine "Lisa, from the soccer team. You are quiet a good player from what I have seen" I say

I hear a snort come from behind her "Are you kidding? Lisa is the best player on the team. Not like you would know anything about sports" Danielle says glaring at me

"Dani, be nice" Lisa warned her

"I'm gonna go see if mom and dad need any help setting up" Christina says leaving

"So, Lauren when did you find out about your 'gift'" Lisa asks me putting air quotes around the word gift.

"Um, like last month" I say

"Oh cool you are a late bloomer like my brother Alex. He found out last month to. You two are the same age also. I found out the month of my 16th birthday like most. Dani found out the month of her 14th birthday. She is a way early bloomer. But she still can't control herself" Lisa says

"I can to an extent" Danielle defends herself.

"Sure" Lisa says making me snicker a little.

"I haven't ripped your face off yet so I must be able to" Danielle hissed at me.

I gulped "Dani, go clean up that mess you made in the kitchen" Lisa tells Danielle

"The hell I look listening to you. And its your mess. Not mine." Danielle says

"Just do it, Danielle" Lisa says then turns and mouths something to her.

"Fine" Danielle says storming back into the kitchen.

"So, why does Dani not like you?" Lisa asks guiding us both over to the couch "Weren't y'all like best friend in Middle School?"

"Yeah, but things change" I say

"Like what? You ditching her to be popular?" Lisa says making me feel guilty.

"You don't know me. I don't have to tell you anything" I say

"Okay well for one, cool it. Two, I have known Dani for ten years. I just wanna know why the girl who was so 'amazing' turned into a 'spoiled little bitch'" she asks

"Danielle is probably just mad that I didn't want to hang out with her fucking bisexual ass anymore" I say

"Oh, you didn't want to be her friend cause she liked girls?" Lisa asked

"Yes, I mean she liked me. And I couldn't have that" I say

"Wow, you're exactly how Dani described you" Lisa says "A spoiled little bitch"

"What is it to you anyways? And why do you call her Dani? She hates it" I say

"Dani is like the little sister I never had. And I call her that cause I can" Lisa says then storms into the kitchen like Danielle did.

"How can y'all go to school with someone so pretty and then y'all look like well y'all" Christian says. But then Danielle hits him "Ow!"

"Boys its time that y'all go upstairs" Mr. Cimorelli says

"Noo" they whine

"Yes" Mr. Cimorelli says and makes them go upstairs.

"Alright well you four go down stairs. Katherine will be here in a few to help you all" Mrs. Cimorelli says point to Danielle, Lisa, Alex, and I

Is it weird that I felt like I was gonna be kidnapped yet, I followed them down the steps. I mean my parents are the reason I am here. Even if I were to get hurt at least I wouldn't be alone I guess. Even if one of them was Danielle. The little nuisance that nobody could ever possibly love.
