"Rose, you're piloting this time." Jade declared, stepping out of the compound as she pulled her Cheshire mask over her face.

The white haired girl nodded as the quartet made their way towards the helicopter, everyone boarding and taking their seats. Rose started the engine and took off into the air, Jade having given her the destination beforehand. Terra cleared her throat. "So, Cheshire, care to share what our mission is?"

Nodding, Jade pressed a button on the side of her mask and a projection appeared from the eye holes in her mask of a STAR labs facility. "The Light wants us to steal a certain device from this STAR lab. In theory, it can rewrite molecular structures of biological creatures."

"Woah." Red X breathed out. "Scary."

"Yeah, I know. STAR labs created it to try and cure disease, whereas our employers have different ideas for usage." Cheshire shrugged, blinking and changing the projection from her mask. "This is what the device looks like. According to intel, it should be located in the North West wing of the facility on the second floor in a locked lab, which, of course, will be no problem for us."

"Of course." Ravager muttered, steering the copter towards their destination. "What's the plan?"

"Well, if we don't have any interference from the wannabes or the Justice League, it should be a simple B&E." Cheshire replied. "Terra and Red X will be our lookouts while you and I, Rav, break in and steal the device."

"Sounds like a solid plan to me."

The rest of the flight was in silence as they all checked over their weapons one final time. Once they landed a good quarter mile from the building they all disembarked the copter, checking the com units to make sure they were working before they set off in the direction of the lab. They got to the building, Ravager and Cheshire making their way inside while Terra and Red X stayed outside to keep watch.

As the two oldest on the team made their way through the building towards the North West wing of the facility, they made small talk with each other. Ravager looked at the team leader curiously. "So, kitty cat, got any family?"

Cheshire snorted. "I have a...sister, but we don't really talk. We had a falling out, she didn't agree with my career choice."

Ravager nodded. "I have two brothers. Or had. One of them is dead."

"Sorry to hear that."

The white haired teen shrugged. "I never met him."

Cheshire side eyed Ravager. "Who killed him?"

"According to my father, the Justice League did." Ravager replied quietly as the duo reached the North West wing, finding their way towards the laboratory that held the molecular reconstructor.

The assassin and the mercenary crept down the hallways towards their target, reaching it in no time. As Cheshire was disabling the multiple locks on the door and keypad, Ravager checked in with the other two Heathens, asking how things looked on the outside.

"All good out here, Ravager." Red X drawled. "Still can't believe I got stuck on lookout duty. You two do realize I'm more of a thief than a killer, right? I should be in there, stealing that molecular whatever-er, not out here."

Cheshire rolled her eyes as she worked on the keypad. "Everyone has a part to play in this plan. Every role was chosen with reason."

The two oldest heard the boy scoff. "Oh yeah? And do tell why you kept your thief on the outside of a burglary mission?"

Ravager looked at the ebony haired assassin and smirked. "Simple; you're not as sexy as I am."

"I beg to differ!" Came the indignant reply. "Also, we have incoming."

"Probably should've said something, Terra!" Ravager scolded the meta.

The white haired mercenary heard a grunt on the other side of the com. "Literally how is this my fault? I'm busy fending off the wannabes while you and X fight over who is sexier."

Cheshire cheered, the doors to the laboratory opening. She motioned for Ravager to follow her and the duo made their way into the lab, flipping the lights on. They made their way carefully through the lab as Cheshire had warned that STAR labs may have anti theft countermeasures.

A poof of gray smoke made the two teens glance to the side, seeing their absent teammates appear next in the lab with them. The cat themed assassin continued to search for their prize as she chastised them. "What are you two doing here? You should be outside, fending the wannabes off."

"Again, why couldn't we all - "

Ravager cut Red X off. "Do you see any rocks or earth in here for Terra to manipulate?" Red X stayed silent. "And as for you, you can teleport, genius! And you have exploding shuriken, put those together with you two having Terra's homefield advantage and it should've been a piece of cake."

The two younger Heathens stayed quiet, glaring at the ground as Cheshire continued to look around the laboratory for their score. Running her hand along the bottom of a lab table, Cheshire found a button, pressing it with a triumphant smirk. A second later, compressed air hissed as a chamber released on top of the table, producing a case with the molecular reconstructor. "Bingo."

"Whatever that is, Cheshire, put it back." The Heathens turned to see the Justice League wannabes standing in the doorway of the laboratory posed to fight.

"Hm, I wonder what it does." Cheshire hummed in faux confusion. She gasped, aiming it at the team. "Want to find out?"

"Cheshire, the...our benefactors want it unused." Terra warned the team leader. "Let's just take them down the old fashioned way."

"Ah, yes. Engaging in fisticuffs." Red X grinned underneath his mask, pulling shuriken into his hands. "My favorite pastime."

As soon as Red X tossed his first shuriken, chaos erupted.

The two teams clashed together as the shuriken was knocked away by Aqualad's water bearers, the projectile exploding the outside wall to the laboratory and giving Terra direct access to the earth. The blonde teen made a dash for the hole in the wall, stopping when Robin jumped in her path.

"Leaving so soon? The party is just starting." Robin pulled out a bo staff, charging the former princess. Terra ducked under Robin's staff, standing up to kick him in the chest and knock him back a few feet. The boy wonder glared at her underneath his domino mask, squaring his jaw.

As Robin and Terra engaged in a fight, Red X was busy teleporting around the room, hitting the wannabes with blitz attacks. Superboy grunted when Red X swiped his legs out from under him, punching the ground when the teen disappeared. "Stay still so I can hit you!"

"No, I don't think I will." Red X chuckled, appearing behind Kid Flash. He hit the ginger with a nerve strike, sending him to the ground.

Ravager, while her two younger teammates were fighting, turned to Cheshire. "Get out of here! We'll keep them busy."

Cheshire slipped the molecular reconstructor into her belt, pulling her sai out and twirling them. "You know me, Rav, I'm never one to turn down a good fight."

The mercenary watched as her team leader ran at Red Arrow, dodging the arrows he shot at her until she was in his face. Cheshire slashed at him with her sai, cutting the quiver off his back in one swipe. He blinked in shock as she winked at him.

Shaking her head at the team leader, Ravager ducked under Aqualad's water sword, pulling out her own sword. They clashed, the blades colliding between them. The teen girl kicked the sword out of Aqualad's hand, going in for the kill when she fell to the ground, a splitting migraine taking over her brain. "Ah!"

"Cheshire, Terra! Ravager is down! We need to go, now." Red X appeared next to Miss Martian, elbowing her in the back of the head and rendering her temporarily out of the fight. He landed on the ground next to his downed teammate, picking her up as he rendezvoused with the other two. "Everyone, grab hold. This is going to tickle."

"Oh, like hell you're going anywhere!" Tigress called out, aiming her crossbow at the Heathens as her own team regrouped behind her. She went to fire the arrow but it got jammed. Rather than the polyurethane foam arrow capturing the Heathens, it exploded on the team of young heroes, encasing them. "Damnit!"

The Heathens laughed, Cheshire giving the heroes a two fingered salute. "Until next time, wannabes."

Red X teleported the quartet and their prize back to the helicopter, Cheshire getting into the pilot seat this time. Terra snorted. "Rose is going to be so upset she didn't get to see that." The other two conscious team members chuckled, Cheshire tossing Terra the reconstructor. The meta looked it over. "I wonder what the Light wants with this?"

"Who cares?" Jason shrugged, pulling his mask off. "Let's just deliver it to al Ghul and find some food. I am starved."

After the Heathens delivered the molecular reconstructor to Ra's and the rest of the Light and Rose came back to the land of the conscious and coherent, Jade bound into the common area of their compound in her civvies, a grin on her face. "Get dressed, we're going out."

Tara looked up from her book. "Another mission?"

"Are we killing anyone?" Rose asked, icing her head.

Jade snorted. "Do I look dressed to kill?"

"Jade, it's you, you're always dressed to kill. And is that a Gucci belt?" Jason asked, standing up from his beanbag chair to walk towards the bedrooms. "Either way, I love it."

Jade turned to the other two girls with an arched brow, gesturing for them to stand up and get dressed like their youngest had. They rolled their eyes but did as they were asked. Soon all the Heathens were gathered outside the compound, down the street a bit, in their civvies hailing a taxi.

"What, they can give us a freaking helicopter but not a car?" Rose muttered, crossing her arms over her chest as a taxi pulled up.

Jason opened the door for the girls and they all piled inside, Jade handing the driver a piece of paper with the address on it. The ride was mostly silent, save for some minor bickering between the youngest three over wiggle room and moving elbows.

It was about fifteen minutes later that the quartet was stepping out of the taxi, Jade tossing a wad of cash at the driver before turning to her team. "My kittens - "

"Don't call us that." They all said at the same time.

" - I am treating you three to a celebratory dinner for a job very well done. Order whatever you'd like and I do mean whatever you'd like. I have an in with the owner and the chef so don't worry about carding." Jade grinned, ushering her team into the small hole in the wall restaurant.

The Heathens found a booth quickly, sitting down and looking over the menu. Jade was right, they could order whatever they wanted without consequence, much to Jason and Rose's delight. Once they all got their drinks, Jade raised her glass, clinking it with the other's. "To our victory! May there be many more to come."

A scoff was heard from over Jade's shoulder. A slender yet muscular arm slipped its way around the ebony haired assassin's shoulders as a fifth figure landed into the booth next to the team leader, grabbing Jade's drink and taking a sip. "Please. You wouldn't have this victory if it weren't for me, sis."
