-The Next Day-
Saturday, the big day I have been waiting excitedly for came before I knew it and the entire morning, ran like a blur.
Bright and early, I was awoken by my blaring alarm but unlike any other time, I happily awoke from my deep slumber with a smile on my face.
I screeched, throwing the blankets off of my restless body to hop out of my bed, my hands launching out for my charged phone on my desk. I grabbed it up into my hands, turning the alarm off but I didn't forget to check the time for safe measures.
6:30 a.m.
I nodded at such a glorious sight, gripping my phone tighter, excitedly.
It's time to freshen up for my big day!
So that's what I spent my morning doing.
I leapt out of my room to head to the bathroom to get myself all ready. I pampered my face with special skin care products, shaved my legs and other womanly areas of course, and showered.
I conquered all important tasks with a smile on my face. Happiness was only being shown and I felt good to feel that way. It was new and yet thrilling. It seemed like the sun was shining over me the entire time.
I just couldn't contain myself one bit.
But once, I emerged from the bathroom, I felt like a totally different person. A happy, go lucky person.
Someone, I would like to stay forever.
My smile widened and from there, I made sure to wake up the other two individuals that were fast asleep in the house. And I made sure to do the task fast.
I ran over to my father's room, throwing the door open, gently to not disappoint him and with that, I began to call his name by the door.
"Father! Father, wake up! It's time to get ready!"
I called his name over and over and I kept doing it until the man in question began to stir wildly on his bed, indicating he was moments away from returning back to the real world.
I watched as the sleepy man let out a groan, his head whipping towards the noise he heard, which was me.
"Mm, what's happening? Why are we getting ready?" I heard my father mutter out, indicating that he completely forgot the life-changing moment I experienced yesterday. And I had no problems reminding him.
Now wearing a white robe around my body and hair, I threw up one hand and waved at the exhausted male, smiling brightly.
"Rise and shine, father. Today's a big day for all of us. We're supposed to catch the limo. Ya know, since I'm the contest winner-" But as soon as I said 'contest winner', I watched as my father's eyes shot wide open, nothing but memories of yesterday rushing back to overwhelm him.
I watched in amusement as my father gasped. "You're right. I thought it was some sort of crazy dream. This is amazing, my daughter!"
I screeched in happiness. "I know, I know. We have to get ready quickly!"
My father nodded and I watched amusingly as he jumped out of his bed, quickly scrambling over to his closet which was a little ways away from his desk.
"You're absolutely right. I'll get ready right away. Is Hanabi awake? If not, go wake her up." He ordered in a hurry which only made me giggle. I nodded happily and soon trotted off, skipping along like a carefree bunny.
Now, that the day has finally arrived and the hours are slowly ticking along, I found myself growing a little nervous.
Yes, I was deeply excited to see Naruto and the other wonderful members but I was also afraid of how the entire event would go. How I, will take it?
Will I clam up?
Will I feel uncomfortable?
Will I get homesick?
Would I not like the experience in the end?
So many worrisome questions were beginning to run amuck in my head as I went about my morning which was filled with accomplishing tasks to ensure that my family and I were ready for when the limo arrived at 9:30.
Waking Hanabi didn't take long so when she awoke and realized what day it was, she practically ran to the bathroom to get ready, expressing her excitement. I couldn't help but laugh at that. But I had to reign myself back in. I have work to do.
My hair and makeup needs to be done.
And then I need to get dressed. I want to look my absolute best for what's to come so, that's what I did.
I ended up adding a natural look to my face with all the excessive makeup that I had, stashed away in a box by my mirror/desk in my room. Light pink shiny lipstick now painted my plump lips which worked nicely with the dressy outfit I chose to wear last night.
And for my hair, I went with an updo style. I curled my midnight blue strands at the bottom with hot flat irons and then pinned all of my hair back into a bun, positioning the midnight blue hair strands towards the back of my head. I also made sure to allow two curly strands of my hair to rest by my face freely, to enhance my overall beauty.
Looking at the final result of my hair and makeup in the mirror that was presented in front of me, I couldn't help but marvel at my appearance. I absolutely adored what smiled back at myself in the shiny mirror before me. I felt a little bit more confident.
All that was left was to put on my outfit which was still lying at the end of my bed, my covered body turning around in my seat. Now facing my bed, my lavender eyes landed on the long purple dress that laid at the end of it, elegantly presenting itself to the world.
The fabric that made up the fine attire looked so comfortable so I was absolutely ready to slip into it for the day. My lips pulled into a huge smile once more, my cheeks burning from putting such an expression up repeatedly.
But I didn't mind it.
I squealed within my seat, soon pushing myself to stand so I could rush over to my bed, excitement welling up inside of me again.
It's time! It's finally time to put on my dress!
I couldn't wait to see how I would look within it. I've been waiting for the special moment to wear it.
And now the moment had arrived.
I smiled, my head lowered towards my bed where the special item was lying.
The dress was a mermaid dress, long and extremely bold. Seeing it now how it laid in the bed, I can estimate how it would look on my body. Because the dress was very long, the fabric would work all the way past my hips all the way to my ankles.
Purple and eye-catching, the dress had flowery flaps which overlapped the other, located towards the top area where my chest will be. The design there kinda resembled flower petals which I found the most interesting about the overall dress. Also, there will be a bit of cleavage shown but only a small bit since the dress stups down only a little.
The dress fits along the stomach, waist and hips but once it gets to the lower legs and ankles the beautiful purple fabric is made to swoop out into small curves. The entire dress was flawless. I am certainly glad I had such an outfit in my closet.
Thanks to father anyway...

A.N.
Hinata's dress looks like this one ⬆️ Just it is purple in the story. Originally, I was going to keep it red because I found this dress and it's color to be very stunning but I thought purple would fit Hinata's character more in the story! I truly hope you like the dress as much as I do!! ❤️❤️
Back to the story!
I let off a nod at my previous thoughts and with that, I slipped out of my robe which revealed black underclothes underneath, covering my special areas protectively.
Then, I stepped forward to grab the dress from my bed, turning it around to unzip the back of it, pulling the zipper all the way down.
After it was all unzipped, I brought it in front of me where I soon pulled one leg inside, the other one also following afterwards.
There, I pulled the attire all the way up my body until it clung to it correctly, the overlapping flaps settling by my chest, falling over my voluptuous breasts. And just like I first imagined, the fabric clung to my pale body in a way that made me comfortable.
Everything fit perfectly and not to mention it looked absolutely gorgeous on my body, the purple of the dress clashing with my makeup.
I smiled large and wide, slightly turning towards the mirror above my desk to check myself out, my zipper still lying unzipped behind me.
But I just wanted a peek.
Just a little.
My excitement couldn't be kept unsatisfied without one.
So, I looked straight into the mirror which was connected to my desk to officially take a look at myself. But when I did, I immediately gasped at what I saw.
My eyes were wide as I laid on them on the princess that stood in the middle of my room. Now at the moment, she was looking straight into a mirror back at me.
My entire appearance looked different, grand almost.
I look, like a celebrity.
I honestly fit the part which completely blew me out of the water.
A giggle slipped out of my lips but it was interrupted by a loud gasp from behind me, a feminine screech following it. The noise did not come from me but from a certain someone that stood by my now opened bedroom door.
I snapped my head towards the spot I first heard the noise only to find Hanabi there, all dressed. Her widened lavender eyes were piercing my soul, her mouth completely gaped in nothing but surprise. She almost look like she was frozen in place.
I giggled once more, but at my little sister's reaction to my appearance. Gently, I grabbed the bottom of my dress and waved it lightly throughout the air causing it to spin.
"It's nice isn't it, Hanabi?" I asked softly, referring to my dress but the young girl seemed to be looking at me as a whole.
She blinked rapidly, her hands rising to cover her mouth. "Oh my gosh! You look so beautiful, Hinata! Your dress, your makeup, your hair, looks freaking gorgeous!" She screeched, finally revealing what she really felt. And even that was amusing to me. I truly like the way Hanabi felt about my choice of clothing.
I let out a burst of laughter, nodded at her. I even added in an elegant bow due to the happiness I felt. "Why thank you, Hanabi. That means the world to me." I announced positively, speaking from the heart. My response brought tears to Hanabi's eyes.
She bit her lip to hold in such tears and instead worked her feet forward, the action only bringing her outfit on display. My lavender eyes looked up and I saw that the brown haired girl before me now wore a floral romper, one that was a navy blue color.
On it, held colorful flowers that came in the colors of red, white and orange, a white lacy but floral style band wrapping around the entire attire, enclosing around her waist. And to end it off, she wore brown flip flops because, of the summer heat.
Overall, Hanabi looked really, really adorable. All that's left to do was her hair which, I already had a hair style in mind.
Two braided pigtails should do just fine.
The cutesy hairstyle fits Hanabi well so that's, what I will do.
I nodded silently upon that thought, keeping it in mind for later. There was so much going through my head, it was beginning to overwhelm me. I just couldn't wait until the real fun stuff began.
But in the meantime, I made sure to give my little sister my attention.
I smiled at her, slowly taking my bare feet across the carpet and towards her direction, bringing my hands far out from my body.
"Aww, Hanabi! I can't believe this is actually happening!" I screeched out while bringing her into a huge, warm hug which she accepted almost immediately.
She giggled in response, wrapping her arms around me as well. "Oh Hinata. You deserve it so I can most definitely believe it. And lucky for you, this is only the beginning. There's more to come and I hope you enjoy all of it." I heard her whisper beside my ear which finally did it for me.
The excitement I felt rushed through every nerve, every blood cell, every body part that made up my entire being which made me begin to jump up and down in a frenzy, also taking poor Hanabi with me. She gasped upon my action but that only turned into laughter once she regained her composure. So soon, we both were jumping up and down in an excited fit, our clothing flopping along with us.
But our little excitement frenzy didn't last long because we had much to do.
So much left to do before the limo, arrives..
So, I stopped my jumping and only settled on staring down into my little sister's eyes, one of my hands rising up to run through her beautiful brown hair.
My smile widened, my shiny face lightening up which made me look even more gorgeous.
"Come on Hinabi. Let's get finished dressing up..."
-At 9:30 A.M-
Finally, the clock struck 9:30 and out fled Hanabi and I, throwing our front door open to flee outside of it.
Both of our suitcases and bags which were filled with our necessities were held tightly within both of our hands as we made it off of our front steps and onto the small parking lot our home provided.
Father walked a little ways behind us with his own bags in hand, a nice iron pressed tux fitting his body.
The attire was white and black which honestly made Father look formal and of course manly. He looked well kept.
He took this time to fully lock up the house, locking the door with his home key.
Once he did that and our home was now locked from the outside world, he resumed walking behind us, his hands carrying his bags effortlessly.
My heels steadily clicked and clacked on the concrete below me as I marched my way towards the front of our house in hopes of meeting up with a long, elegant limo on our lawn.
A huge smile could be found on my face as I journeyed forward, without any cares in the world.
My mind was free. No worries were found anywhere. I did what Mr Kakashi told me. Now that I am leaving my home, all of my worries are going to be left behind me...
Hopefully for good after experiencing what 'The HeatWave Band' has to offer.
My smile brightened which caused my glowing face to lighten up in a way that was positive, the early morning sun beaming down on the three of us.
It didn't take long to cross from our home to the street and the sight, that was there, shocked all of us.
Loud gasps could be heard from all three of us as we simultaneously spotted a shiny black limo that stretched it's way all across the front of our lawn, parked smack dab at the front of our house.
My mouth flew wide open at visibly seeing such a beautiful sight, my mind completely blown.
Oh!
My!
Goodness!
This is really happening!
A mix of anxiety and excitement flooded my being as my lavender eyes ran over the entire vehicle in front of us which screamed nothing but the word, V.I.P.
It was certainly a fancy sight to look at. I caught myself just staring at it in complete amazement and of course, awe.
But we weren't kept waiting for long before the door to the passenger side of the limo flew open which revealed a man in an all black tux.
His hair was grey and spiky, shooting in only one direction. His height was impressive for it looked to tower over the both of us, Hanabi and I as the male worked his way out of the limo and straight towards us.
And now directed towards us, I could see the black mask that covered most of his face, covering his nose and his right eye so only one was visible. Right then and there, I knew exactly who was just about to meet us.
Kakashi Hatake, himself!
And in that moment, I couldn't contain my fan girly screams. I let them all out while waving my hands hysterically, revealing that I was absolutely thrilled to be in the male's presence.
"Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!" I repeated constantly as the grey haired male crossed paths to stand in front of all three of us, his head nodding over to my father. He introduced himself to him first before speaking directly to me.
"Hello Mr. Hyuga. I would like to introduce myself first before we get things started. In case you do not know me, I am, Kakashi Hatake, the Heat Wave Band's manager. Your daughter and I spoke on the phone just yesterday and I informed her on how today will go and in return she gave me information about herself.
My father nodded at the male's words. "Yes, I remember. Thanks for the introduction." My father chuckled, throwing his hand out so the two men could formally introduce themselves. Kakashi pulled his hand out as well which was covered in a back glove, the both making moves to shake hands. "All of this is so new. My daughter here has to explain everything to me along the way. My father added with an amused chuckle, his words admitting that he was new to The Heat Wave Band and what they had to offer.
Father's responses to Kakashi's words were so adorable, I was internally melting in my spot. I continued to watch as the men soon parted ways, lowering their hands.
Kakashi chuckled as well. "Ah, you're quite alright. I'm sure your daughter is a fantastic teacher. You'll know all about us by tonight." The famous masked male declared before turning his attention onto me, giving me a very visible eye smile.
Kakashi smiled underneath his mask as well, finally turning to address me. "Ahh, now isn't this a pleasure? I feel nothing but joy now that I get to finally meet you in person, Ms. Hyuga. Once again, congratulations. Your limo ride is finally here." He declared with nothing but warmth found in his one visible eye, his attention drawn only on me which I found overwhelming.
I couldn't stop fangirling.
My breathing steadily increased and increased, my chest heaving. My head was only filled with Kakashi's words and voice which didn't help my frantic state at all.
Oh my gosh!
Please don't tell me I'm about to faint.
I felt a familiar sensation coming over me; a dizziness. Such a feeling was really starting to drive me insane. The nausea I felt was overpowering. I didn't know if I could hold on. I groaned, whimpering underneath my breath.
Kakashi's one visible eye squinted concerningly down at me, his attention turning towards my father who leapt for my help.
Two large hands moved to gently grab my shoulders from behind and from there, I felt the same hands rub my arms up and down at a pace that successfully woke me up, erasing all the dizziness I felt.
My father then, let out a nervous laugh. "Oh I'm sorry, Mr. Hatake. My daughter tends to get a little overstimulated. She's fine, I assure you. Just gets this way when she's overly excited, is all. And I don't blame her." He said, explaining my odd behavior and also to save my hide. But that only surprised Hanabi and I.
Hanabi's lavender eyes widened to the max from where she stood beside me, her eyes directed towards father who steadily rubbed my shoulders. His friendly behavior was totally new and it would definitely get some getting used to. Not that I don't appreciate it.
I do. I most certainly do.
I appreciated it so much because father's words effortlessly kept me from looking like a total idiot in front of Kakashi Hatake.
The grey haired male nodded in complete understanding and took a small bow before us.
"Oh I understand completely. How about we finish this conversation inside the limo? It is impeccably warm out here, and those bags," He paused to point at the heavy luggage we held. He grimaced. "Looks a little heavy, don't ya think? I have a little something to help you three out."
After he said those words, we watched as he slipped his fingers to press a button found on the inside of his suit's sleeve. Once he did that, he silently moved out of the way so two men could make way towards us. Men that quickly emerged from the front of the limo.
I gasped at how stern the two strong individuals looked, how fast they walked and how urgently they took away our things only to pack them away at the very back of the limo.
From there, we all were escorted inside the grand vehicle where long leather seats were granted to us, shaped in long rectangle on both sides, right and left. The large, sofa chairs wrapped around the entire car, only ending at a bar-like station near the front.
Hurriedly, I worked my way inside and flopped myself down on a seat near the middle, directed towards the right hand side of the limo, all the while looking around at all the cool gadgets that were placed about in the long vehicle, my eyes steady soaking everything in.
The smell of the place was so pleasant, it smelt like the inside of a pair of fresh, new sneakers. It was so comforting. Everything was clean and pristine, not a stain or crumb found anywhere.
Lights were flashing about here and there in many colors, switching from orange, yellow, green and red. Such a display was truly eye-catching. I absolutely loved it.
On the floor was carpet, a grand carpet that looked more comfortable than pillows. I knew the carpet would feel fantastic beneath my feet.
Snacks were available to us, lying in cabinets down towards the front of the limo side, many delicious treats of all kinds all present there to choose from. I couldn't believe what I was seeing and yet..
Here I was, inside the Heat Wave Band's Limo!
I'm so lucky!!
My eyes darted everywhere as my family steadily moved inside the car, scooting around so they could sit close to me, on the right hand side of the limo.
Hanabi let out a gasp at the sight of our fine environment, her eyes holding astonishment in them. "Oh my gosh! This is awesome! I've never been in a limo before!"
"Me either!" I screeched, turning towards her to fangirl. And this time, she joined me. We both cheered like two preppy cheerleaders within our comfy seats, happy smiles found on our faces.
Our father chucked, also looking around at the place. "The limo does look pretty neat." He butted in, adding his opinion to the table. That, only made us laugh more. The scenery was completely out of this world. It was certainly more than what I could ever have imagined. I couldn't stop looking around. The more I did, the more I found.
Around the place on the wall presented different posters of The Heat Wave Band and all of their glory. There were pictures up with the band all ganged around each other, smiling happily for the camera. And then there were a few up where their band name was presented, indicating that this vehicle belonged to them. It was absolutely marvelous.
I swooned in my seat which made Hanabi laugh. But it was cut short by a certain someone, a loud thud erupting through the vehicle, directed up front.
All three of us, turned towards the direction of the noise and saw Kakashi had rolled over a glass window which usually would be closed to give the folks in the back of the limo privacy but, his attention was once again placed on us.
He gave us an eye smile, a famous look of his. "Wow, Hinata. I see you've completely outdone yourself. You look absolutely gorgeous. Stunning, I should say. I hope you were able to pack everything you wanted." He complimented with a nod, his pleasant voice filling the entire vehicle, and meeting my ears.
He sat in the front, right beside the driver along with two other men who looked to be his bodyguards. The limo was extremely big so it was shocking to see so much room everywhere.
But to not appear as weird again, I quickly sought out to respond to Kakashi. It was no time to act shy now. This, is my time and my time only. So I will spend it like I should.
I nodded happily back at him, my hand held within Hanabi's. "Thank you, Mr. Hatake. That means so much coming from you. And yes, I packed all that I wanted to bring. It was a lot but I managed. I plan on looking my absolute best on this fine trip." I responded back without a hint of hesitance or reluctance in my voice. I was confident within myself and of course, happy that I get to talk to Kakashi freely and not through a TV screen like I usually do.
Weird, I know.
But here he was, in front of me, talking to me like normal but to me, this, did not feel normal. This felt, unreal. But I love every second of it.
And by the visible smile underneath Kakashi's mask, I'd say he enjoyed my company too.
He chuckled amusingly, impressed with my answer. "That is so great to hear. Naruto and the others would most certainly love to hear that you're already enjoying yourself. But.." He paused midway through his response, one finger of his rising up.
Hanabi, father and I all watched in silence as the grey haired man through the open window cleared his throat, oddly growing serious. A dark eye met the both of my lavender ones and I caught my body freezing in my place.
Kakashi then waved, his raised pointer finger. "Now, just to warn you, the trip to our destination is a bit long. 5 to 6 hours at least. You'll be stuck in here all the while but I recommend you to get used to it. The Heat Wave Band are fond of traveling long distances and since you will be tagging along, you will be traveling as well. All three of you will."
He looked towards my little sister and father next, shrugging "If, you want. We are going to a private villa where you are free to relax and spend your time there. The trip is mainly for Ms Hyuga so I understand if you do not want to attend all of our vast travels. And of course, I understand completely
if you do come along. It's your choice." He explained profoundly, throwing out a few warnings for us, things we should think about beforehand.
We all nodded in response which worked well for Kakashi for he had more to say and he also loved that we were still on board.
"Good. You all are so wonderful. Now, Ms. Hyuga, we will arrive at our destination at 3:30 o'clock. There, your room and key to our own private villa will be issued to you and your family. But before you are given such things, you are free to meet The HeatWave Band personally. All four members will be waiting for you at that said mansion an hour prior to our arrival. They also will be rooming at the villa to accompany you. Of course they have their own rooms because beforehand, the villa was bought out just for this particular event. So, just think of the place as your second home for now. The city there will also be yours to explore. Any traveling we do will only be a means to meet other fans and attend concerts. But once all of that is over, we will all return back to the villa. We won't jump around and room elsewhere. I find that very chaotic and most importantly, unprofessional. I don't want you to feel uncomfortable anytime at all on this trip. I also don't want you to lose any of your belongings. Of course if anything happens to said belongings, we will not hesitate to buy you new ones. This trip is to only set you in a carefree state. You should not worry about a thing, ya hear?" He stated informatively, running over more things I need to know for what's to come.
And my body grew jittery yet again, excitement flooding my soul.
Instantly, I nodded at Kakashi after he grew silent, quickly giving him my answer. "Yes, I understand. That all sounds so amazing. Thank you so much-"
An amused filled laugh cut me off which was done by the older male upfront, one of his hands moving forward to wave me off. "Oh no, Ms. Hyuga. Thank you, for being our most devoted, loving fan. Thank you for being there when we needed you. Thank you, for supporting us every step of the way. We thank you, by giving you, all of this. So I hope, this trip brings you happiness just as you and all the other fans out there bring us happiness. So I thank you, personally."
Kakashi's words were absolutely beautiful to my ears which almost brought me to tears.
With my hands now balled by my chest, I let out a small whimper, my dress falling completely over my legs to land on the dark floor of the limo.
I smiled, big and wide for him, showing the grey haired male all the gratitude and appreciation I felt. His words brought joy to my world and I just wanted to savor them forever.
It felt nice to be able to be told something like that from the one you look up to, the one that is normally seen on tv, around all the lights and cameras. But now, there were no cameras in sight.
Kakashi was speaking from his heart. So I felt so, so special.
My cheeks ached at how wide I was smiling, Hanabi rubbing my hand more excitedly for she too was thrilled from Kakashi's grand speech of the schedule we will be following soon.
I bit my lip. "Oh, I can't believe my ears, Mr. Hatake. I-I-I am deeply honored. I can't thank you enough. I-I can't even express myself!"
Another laugh was done by Kakashi, his head thrown back while he did so. The sound of his laughs were highly muffled due to his black mask but I could really tell he enjoyed my answer.
"Oh you don't have to say a thing, Ms. Hyuga. I hear ya loud and clear. I'm glad you're enjoying yourself. That's definitely music to my ears. But oh,"
Before he pulled the window back closed, he kept his one eye looking over his shoulder back at us, his hand tapping the top of the seat.
"I almost forgot. Paparazzi, Ms. Hygua, will be there at the villa. That's when we will officially announce you as the winner of the contest so I advise you to hold back on telling anyone you know the end result. I want this to be a special moment for you. So, you'll answer a few questions on camera. Smile, look pretty because your special moment will be going on national TV." He informed also, adding in more incentives to the table which threw my whole body into a nervous wreck.
My eyes widened gravely, my body scrunching in on itself at the mention of paparazzi.
Paparazzi are always known to be hectic and downright uncomfortable to be around.
I whimpered lowly, my hand still held within Hanabi's which I gripped tighter. "P-Paparazzi? There going to be, at the v-villa?" I questioned in disbelief, truly not liking that bit of the whole ordeal.
But Kakashi, saw no problem with it. He just simply shrugged. "Oh don't be so shy, Ms. Hyuga. They're gonna love you. Now, we gotta get moving. We're on a time crunch and we gotta get you to that villa before sun down. So, you and your family can indulge yourselves in the snack bar, drink bar, music, Tv and you can also catch up on a few zzz's. I know excitement probably kept you up last night and that's fine. I understand completely. But in the meantime, you folks enjoy."
Those words were all that Kakashi said in a long time, the glass window that separated us from the front finally closing back shut.
There, we were left in a slightly dimmed place where lights danced underneath our feet. Soft music began to play as well which placed us into a tranquil mood.
I sighed, long and deep, just waiting until the vehicle started up before getting fully comfortable.
Snacks sound wonderful right about now since I'm starving. I haven't had anything to eat all morning since we were too busy getting ready for the day. Hanabi felt the same way.
Our father seemed to take the sleep option because his body began to slouch in his seat, the dimmed lights working the exhausted man into la la land. He yawned on cue. I giggled softly at that.
Soon though, the vehicle finally began to move, slowly but surely coming alive. But when it did, the vehicle was down the street in no time, taking us with it.
Now, it was a great time for snacks so I rushed off of my seat to get a few, my body hunched over a bit to not bump my head on the ceiling up top.
The bar before me was filled with baskets of different goodies, ones ranging from healthy to unhealthy. There were chips, crackers, nicely sliced fruit, some even dipped in milk chocolate. There were also granola bars which came in all different kinds of flavors. Then, there were the unhealthy snacks where nothing but sweet goodness was presented to us. Cakes, cookies, pastries, chocolate bars and candy all presented in baskets all neatly categorized by name tags.
There were also drinks to my left, sodas, fruit juices, cocktails and water.
I licked my lips by the scrumptious sights before me. There were so many snacks, I didn't even know what to choose from. It took a while for me to pick, my eyes running over the snacks again to see what truly called to me.
I let out a hum to myself, my mind steady contemplating what I should choose from.
Unhealthy or healthy?
Hmm..
A few snacks shouldn't hurt right? So I decided to indulge in the good stuff for once.
Kakashi said to not worry right?
So, I grabbed a pack of M&Ms, veggie chips and a bottle of water for me, the containers stashed on the very end in a bucket of ice, kept inside a mini cooler connected to the bar.
In the other hand, I grabbed a few more snacks for Hanabi, just grabbing what I thought she wanted.
Instead of chocolate, I sought for a box of starbursts, candy, which were lying in another basket on my right, further away from me.
I too though, grabbed veggie chips because we both loved the snack to death and then, a bottle of water also to finish off the little snack for us.
The vehicle rattled a bit as the driver steadily drove us through my home town, quickly making his way out of it and onto the highway.
My dress felt absolutely comfortable as I moved around in it, my midnight blue hair raised up, out of my face which made it easier to maneuver around without anything disturbing me.
Soon though, I was back into my seat with Hanabi and there, I presented the snacks to her.
"There you are, Hanabi. I hope you enjoy the snacks." I whispered underneath the nice jazz music that blared through the speakers that littered all around us, the vehicle occasionally rattling as it steadily traveled forward, across the road.
Instantly, at the sight of such goodies in my hands, Hanabi's eyes lit up and she went to grab them quickly.
She practically tore open the veggie chips, setting down her starburst and water on the chair beside her.
I watched as she quickly launched her hand into the open bag, grabbing tons of the healthy chips and throwing them into her mouth, chucking them down,
She groaned. "Oh my gosh! Thank you, onee-san. I'm so hungry!" She admitted in delight, a playful growl rolling from her lips at the end of her sentence. Her words were all muffled as she steadily chomped away at the lightly flavored chips that she gripped in her hands for dear life, her body growing relaxed because she had something to fill her empty stomach.
I couldn't help but to giggle amusingly at my sister's actions but I, was just as hungry as she was, so I went to eat my share of snacks.
Father had already gone to sleep, thanks to the lovely music that was steady playing and the low dimmed lights around us. The whole mood was excellent for relaxing.
It surely did put me in a carefree mood. But now, all I could think about was getting to our designation. My stomach flipped flopped in excitement just thinking about it.
I looked out towards the window that was presented behind me, just looking as we quickly left my hometown behind and traveled onto a road where nothing but cars littered the place, my lavender eyes taking in the scenery.
The early morning sun beamed on all that was below it, the breezy wind rushing through the many trees that stood on both sides of us.
I sighed long and deep, gripping my bag of chips tighter.
I cannot wait, to get to the villa.
