But it's very enjoyable!! Hope you like it!
-Time Skip-
Four Days Later
The four boring days passed in a flash, granting Friday to finally arrive. Each day, I had to battle with overwhelming excitement and of course, anxiety as friday quickly approached.
I didn't know what to expect.
I didn't know what kind of box I would be getting or what time of day it would arrive friday.
Sakura informed me that she was given her box wednesday, right at her front door after school. The box was dropped off delicately by a delivery worker and that's, where Sakura was able to see if she won the contest or not.
But she soon told me that she was given a regular black box, with zero signature names written anywhere on it. Which meant she did not, win..
I was so, so sad for her.
She was disappointed as well. Her mood was certainly down in the dumps the entire next day which raised the anxiety for me.
I don't think I will win.
No, I know I can!
My thoughts were literally all over the place thursday. I went from believing in myself to totally not believing in myself. I was torn.
But when friday finally arrived, not only did the anxiety and the doubt increase, the excitement did too, leaving me conflicted and agitated.
I couldn't contain myself at school. Actually, I couldn't contain myself at all.
Finally after all the work I've done in hiding the emotions I feel from my Father as well as the sneaky deed I've done, the Heat Wave Bundle was going to arrive today.
Something that was specially made from the band that I adore, will arrive..
At my house!
I couldn't wait to get home.
So as soon as the last bell rang for all students to leave from school, I practically ran down the halls at full speed, pushing and shoving anyone that got in my way.
I ignored all the angered filled looks and the negative comments that I was given as I fled the school, my hands holding on tightly to my belongings.
Nothing, was going to stop me. Nothing else matters at the moment.
Getting home is my ultimate goal.
And that's all I cared for.
I left the school to enter the normal grounds where teens of all kinds were standing around waiting for their parents or were making their way to their own cars to leave for the day.
I, did the same. I walked straight towards my own car and hopped in, practically throwing in my backpack and lunchbox, slamming the car door closed behind me.
I didn't waste any time and with my jittery hands, I stuck my keys in the ignition and started up the car, soon zooming off in the process.
The entire car ride was a blur to me as I traveled from designation A, to B in my excited fit. I was dancing, prancing, and jumping around in my seat as I drove down numerous roads in the city, my mind only held on the Heat Wave box that I just knew was waiting at my doorstep this very moment. I squealed.
I can't wait! I can't wait!
I increased my speed a little, traveling down the roads a little bit faster than normal. And as a result, I made it to Hanabi's school in no time.
There, I was able to do what I normally did.
Pick up Hanabi from school.
It took a while considering all the other parents were here too, trying to do the exact same thing as I was, so, I had to unfortunately wait a bit.
But as soon as I saw her, I immediately sought her attention. I didn't wait. I waved her over excitedly from where she stood by the front gates of the school, under the shade from the sun.
"Hey, Hanabi! Let's go!" I quickly shouted over to her who perked up by my voice.
Her lavender eyes scanned the area intently but they soon landed on a black vehicle parked in front of the entrance of the school, my hand waving her over constantly from the inside the said vehicle.
I watched as a big smile came upon her face and she quickly left her spot to run towards my car, entering inside in no time.
I drove off as soon as she did, excitement getting the best of me.
But Hanabi instantly disapproved of my actions, her body slamming back into her seat. She hadn't had the chance to put on her seatbelt which caused such an incident to happen.
"Ow! Hinata, what's going on?" She screeched in annoyance, her long brown hair pulled up into a high ponytail today, a white summer dress fitting her body.
I, on the other hand, wore a leather jacket over a blue crop top, black jeans and blue flip flops to match down below. I also settled on wearing my hair normally today, all laid down.
No stylish hairstyles..
No impressive styling..
Nope, normal.
I smiled, but I couldn't help but glance over at Hanabi from the road, my eyes taking in her entire look as I steadily drove out of the parking lot and onto the main road.
She held a scowl on her face by my previous, crazy actions, obviously disliking them.
Simultaneously, she went to pull her seatbelt on, her eyes constantly fixated on me though.
I chuckled nervously by her look and outburst but turned back to the road. "S-Sorry, Hanabi. I'm just excited-"
"About what? Ooh, you met a boy?"
"No!" I squealed out instantly which caused the young girl to burst into a fit of laughter, no longer annoyed.
I couldn't help but laugh too but I also shook my head. "No. It isn't a boy. The Heat Wave Bundle arrives today." I informed happily which caused Hanabi to scrunch her face up, confusion taking over.
"The Heat Wave Bundle? What's that?" She asked, expressing that she was deeply confused.
I groaned at such a response.
Obviously, she must've forgotten.
I sighed, sparing her a look with one of my lavender eyes. "You know. The item I ordered behind father's back. It arrives today." I added on to hopefully ring a bell inside of Hanabi's little head.
And successfully, it worked.
Her eyes widened instantly and she gasped from where she sat, now buckled in. "No way! Really? I bet you're so excited!"
"I am! I can't wait to get home and see it!"
Hanabi giggled upon my response, obviously wishing the same thing. So now we were both excited as I traveled away from my little sister's school straight towards our home, my eyes never leaving the road as I drove.
And once I arrived back at our one story home, we both were quick to flee from my car, once I parked it, of course.
I threw open the car door, grabbing my things and hopped out. But I didn't forget to wait for my little sister who was doing the exact same thing I did.
Nothing else was on my mind, not even the second car that was parked beside mine. Because I was so excited my mind was foggy, kept away from reality making it hard to think.
So when Hanabi and I walked up to the front door to find, not my package but emptiness, I instantly grew dumbfounded and downright confused.
"W-Wait. I thought it was supposed to be right here."
Hanabi gulped, turning her head towards the second car that was parked behind us. She shuddered at the sight of it, turning back to the front door.
"Father's home, Hinata. He most likely has, um, your package." I heard her quietly whisper from beside me, her head bowed low for her excitement had completely washed away.
Gone.
Vanished, just like that.
Instantly after she said such words, I swore I felt my heart stop. All the excitement I previously felt vanished, leaving my head clear again.
And now, that it's clear, I remembered that father usually gets home before the two of us anyway. So if my package came before then, he would've seen it firsthand.
My eyes widened.
He knows! Oh gosh! I'm gonna be in so, so much trouble!
My body, after that realization, couldn't move one single inch as I stood in front of the door to my home.
My body, felt frozen to my spot, disobeying my mind which constantly demanded to move, to open the door, to face the consequences of my actions.
I breathed heavily, deeply frightened.
No. I cannot. I cannot go.
I was so scared to enter the house before me. All I wanted to do this entire week was to hide the sneaky deed I have committed from my father.
I wanted to silently get what I want and never touch on this situation ever again.
I wanted to do this one thing for myself.
But even still, treachery and betrayal does not remain in the dark for long. Especially if you have a good soul. A soul that I most certainly have. Never have I ever done anything like this to anyone. I croaked, whimpering to myself.
But I broke that record when it came to my own father.
I'm so terrible.
I deserve what consequence there is to come. I deserve what is waiting for me behind this door. I deserve, to be grounded.
I deserve it all.
I don't deserve to win this contest. I don't.
So with that, a single tear fell from my eyes and I launched out to grab a hold of the doorknob in front of me, the action seriously frightening Hanabi.
She jumped by my sudden movement but gasped when her eyes landed on what I was doing. "N-No, onee-san. You're gonna be in trouble-"
"I deserve it. You don't but I do." I quickly butted out while pulling the door open more causing a low creak to erupt throughout the air, bringing more panic to Hanabi's soul.
She shook her head wildly in denial of my words and launched one hand out to grab the door, pushing it back closed.
"No, you don't. Onee-san please-"
"But what choice do I have, Hanabi?" I screeched, snapping at my naive little sister. I whipped my head towards her as she continued to keep the front door pressed close, her hand resisting mine.
She pouted upon my words. "I-I, don't know but please, don't say you deserve to be punished harshly by father. Your intentions were good. You wanted to be happy and that's nothing wrong with that."
Hanabi whimpered between her words, shaking her head at me.
"Hinata, you always sacrifice your happiness for others and I just cannot stand here and watch you beat yourself up over the fact that you've finally, for once granted your own self happiness. I will not stand here and allow you to think harshly about your actions. You, deserve it, onee-san. More than anything. So please, don't say that. Please."
Hanabi's words were filled with emotion, filled with love but tribulation. She was troubled by my rash thinking and actions, ones that I used to never see were incorrect and mistakened.
Hanabi, has opened my eyes.
Yes, she was right. Every step of my life I have done nothing but look out for everyone else but myself. I have tried to make others happy and never myself. So when I do drop that job and instead think of myself, I usually would feel very guilty and regretful which is the case now..
It shouldn't be that way.
I matter also, and father has to see that.
He does.
Hanabi's correct and yes, I take back my words. I don't deserve any punishment. I don't deserve any backlash. I don't deserve to be overrunned by guilt or regret because I deserve to be happy.
Yes, it was wrong of me to betray father but have I ever done so before?
No, this was only seen as a one time thing.
Father has to let this one slide. Just for me.
For his eldest daughter.
I shut my eyes for a moment, trying to ration through the load of thoughts within my head which was clouding it entirely. My next move was put on pause because of course, I was stuck again, uncertain of what turn I should take.
Should I enter? Should I wait?
I didn't know my answer.
I snapped my eyes open upon that, a quick sigh shooting from my lips.
Then, I turned towards my little sister, giving her my undivided attention, but bowing my head while doing so.
A frown was presented on my face as I went to drop my hand from the unlocked door, positioning the limb to rest by my side instead.
I whimpered. "I-I'm sorry, Hanabi. Y-You're right. I am just not used to putting myself first. You have to understand-"
But my words were cut off by a wave of a small hand, a giggle slipping from the young girl's mouth beside me.
"Oh Hinata. I understand completely. I know how selfless you are and it's honestly adorable. I just hate the fact that you don't think you deserve any happiness." She moved forward, pulling two hands up to cup both of my cheeks.
I gave her a loving smile which she returned with a playful one causing me to laugh.
Hanabi's smile widened. "You deserve all the happiness in the world, onee-san. You're amazing and I wouldn't know what to do without you. I love you, so much, Hinata." She whispered against me, showering me with buckets of love and appreciation which felt absolutely glorious.
I couldn't stop smiling. My cheeks began to sting at how big my lips were pulled apart but I didn't care. Hanabi's words were ones I deeply longed to hear. I felt appreciated. For my hard work, for my dedication, for my selflessness, everything.
Her words were absolutely beautiful to my ears, I couldn't hold back my tears.
A few shed down my face in response, the liquid hitting my cheeks and sliding down to my chin, hitting Hanabi's small palms in the process.
The young brown haired girl smiled brightly in response, her thumbs lightly inching over to rid away the tears I was shedding, her fingers swiping under both of my eyelids quite gently.
I nodded, sniffing. "Thank you for this, Hanabi. I r-really appreciate it." I whispered out to her, giving her my own appreciation and once again gratitude. I was also thankful to have such a loving, caring sister by my side. Someone I could talk to about anything. Someone that can understand. Someone, that I can lean on when I'm feeling down. She was my everything and I love her dearly.
Hanabi's smile widened upon my positive response and was just about to open her mouth to speak on it but we were both interrupted by the door forcefully being opened by a hand that was not our own.
Father pulled back the door to reveal the two of us standing in front of it, our heartening expressions morphing into shock.
Narrow, stern filled eyes stared back at me from inside the cozy home that we both, Hanabi and I were reluctant to enter in, my own eyes widening largely.
Father sneered, his attention only directed on me instead of Hanabi.
He gritted his teeth. "Hinata, come in. Take a seat in the living room." He said quite calmly before switching his attention over to my little sister. His eyebrows furrowed by how close we were together. "Hanabi, you may leave and go to your room. I have a bone to pick with Hinata." He spat, indicating that he was very angry with me.
My heart skipped several beats upon hearing his order, my lips trembling. All the negative emotions I felt just a minute ago came rushing all back, overwhelming me and freezing me to my spot.
But Hanabi, for she was deeply afraid of father, dropped her hands from my cheeks quickly and bowed her head at him, directing the docile action towards the angry male in front of us.
"Yes, father." I heard her whisper before she moved to step toward the door, not without sparing me an apologetic glance over her shoulder.
I only shook my head at her, giving her a response that her departure from this havoc situation wasn't her fault.
She understood.
And soon, I watched as she walked beside father to disappear further into the house, leaving me all alone in the face of his wrath, outside.
Father scowled at me, his head nodding harshly towards the inside of the house. "Go on. Into the living room. Now." He demanded, his voice stone cold. There was no sympathy, restraint or remorse found there. He was gonna give me his full wrath and there wasn't anything I could do...
I bit my lip.
Perhaps...
I quickly shook my rebellious thoughts off and just settled on nodding to my Father, obeying his wishes. "Yes, father. I'll go." I whispered and did just that.
Nervously, I brought my feet forward to walk beside the robe wearing male to enter the warmth of our home. But I didn't stop walking.
I turned to my left and walked on forward to enter the living room where the windows were all drawn apart allowing the sunlight to flood in the cozy room.
I sighed, deeply dreading taking another step inside the place but I had no choice.
Gosh... I'm in big trouble.
I hated this feeling.
This.. helplessness.
It was so unbearable, I couldn't think straight. At the moment I was only having rebellious thoughts, ideas of how I could get out of this troubling situation.
I bit my lip once more, now lost within my thoughts.
I could give father a piece of my mind..
I could run away...
I could run to my bedroom and lock the door. He wouldn't be able to get in that way. So then, I could stay there for the rest of the night.
I could be free from this disturbing situation. Free from punishment.
But I shook my head to all three terrible plans, only settling in sitting my bum down on the three seater sofa that was there.
No. None of those would work in my favor.
No matter how pleasant they sound.
So I sighed and simply set down my backpack and lunchbox onto the seat beside me and just waited patiently for father.
Distantly, I heard the front door slam close and the squeak of the floorboards as the older male walked away, someplace unknown.
So I continued to wait.
But I grimaced every time I heard father speak on the matter because that indicated that he knew exactly, what I had done four days ago.
"Kami! How dare she steal money from my bank account!"
"Fifty dollars at that!"
"Have I taught these children nothing? Was it all a waste? Damnit!"
I whimpered to myself by father's harsh words regarding the situation, my ears open to all sounds. And I tensed up when I suddenly heard his heavy footsteps make his way towards the room I was currently sitting in, silent as a mouse. All the while as he journeyed forward, his eyes were narrowed and filled with vexation.
The older male's footfalls were heavy and honestly pretty dramatic as he trotted inside the living room with something in hand, my lavender eyes instantly shooting over to it once it was revealed.
And that's, when I noticed it.
A surprise filled gasp shot out of my lips at the sight of my pretty little package there, snuggled within my father's tight grip.
But..
I tilted my head at it's appearance.
Now that's odd..
The package looked a little different from what Sakura described hers had looked.
Instead of it being presented out in the opening, it was covered by plastic, placed in a bag to protect the entire box from harm or from anything that could soil it.
The color of it, was a new detail to me also. Instead of it designed with a basic black color like Sakura said hers came in as, it was instead colored orange.
A vibrant orange.
I tilted my head by such a detail but didn't say anything more, only remaining quiet.
My father walked around the end table that was designated in the center of the three chairs, his eyes set on the recliner far away from me, directly beside the chimney.
Once he made it in front of it, he practically flopped down on it, causing a semi loud thud to erupt throughout the room.
There, he decided to start a staring contest with me from his new seat, his white eyes piercing mine directly, freezing my being entirely.
I trembled within my spot, my eyes glued upon his disappointed ones which stared back at me, not once blinking or backing down.
No, he kept the stare constant which made me very uncomfortable, my body left completely frozen to my spot.
I gulped slowly, trying to contain my heartbeat because it was growing loud; awfully loud. I was afraid father would hear it.
He can sense that I'm nervous. I know he can.
His face says it all!
I was worrying so much about the little details. Every scowl the male placed up onto his face made my heart drop. Every shake of his head made my blood run cold.
I was extremely, extremely terrified.
Suddenly, my father squinted his eyes from where they were held on my trembling person, those same distinctive orbs falling down onto the large package that was held tightly within his hands.
He stared at it for some time, twisting it and turning it to look at every side of the object, inspecting it closely.
He shook his head, deeply confused about the item that was in his hand.
"What, on earth is this, Hinata?" He suddenly asked within the quiet room, his voice alone causing my trembling to worsen. I felt my blood run colder and my body stiffen up on the couch by his rather direct question.
I clasped my hands nervously together, whimpering underneath my breath. "I-It's um..." My voice trailed off from agitation, my eyes snapping away from the angered male in front of me.
I didn't know how to answer such a tactless question. I know anything I say will only anger my father further.
And right on cue, the black haired male raised an eyebrow in response to my unfinished answer, a scowl coming right back onto his face.
"You don't know? You seem to know a few days ago when you first bought it." He spat out matter factly which caused me to whimper and cower away, my body trembling constantly. I didn't know what to say to get my father to understand.
I've just, been caught.
I bit my trembling lip, my body remaining rigid within my spot on the comforting couch.
I bowed my head, sulking.
"I-I'm sorry, father. But you have to understand that-
"Understand? Understand what exactly?" You want me to understand the fact that you lied and stole my own damn money? And for what?"
He trailed off in a snappily tone to only grab a hold of the plastic that was wrapped around the box, the one I was excited about this entire week.
My head snapped up at the loud crackling sound that roughly erupted throughout the quiet room, one of my father's hands moving to throw off the plastic from my package.
There, the Heat Wave Bundle was officially exposed to the world, the orange expensive box practically glowing as it sat in two large hands.
The male before me scoffed and pulled the box up to inspect it once more but this time, now that it wasn't covered by plastic anymore, he saw that there was an orange flap. Such an item was the entrance to what was inside the bundle pack and that, was found on the very top of the box, all the merch stashed neatly inside.
But his eyes did not instantly seek to find what resided inside the box, instead he was staring at the sides of it.
I only stared at my feet as he did, scared and as well as ashamed of what he was going to say next.
But the very next thing my father said, surprised my entire being and made me more excited and happy than ever before.
"What on earth are these names? They're all over the box."
My father shook the box which made objects rattle inside it, his eyes squinted on the signatures that littered the orange box all the way around.
My eyes widened drastically upon his words, my body growing jittery within my seat. I was totally frozen, my heart speeding up to a pace that was new to me.
Oh.
My.
Goodness!
I simply could not believe my ears as I sat in silence as my father steadily inspected the special Heat Wave box. The box that indicated that I've..
Won!
I've won the contest!
But my father, oblivious, only went about looking at the item I'd purchased with his money.
"The names look to belong to men. Hinata, what is-"
But he couldn't even finish because I, beat him to it. I just couldn't hold in my excitement anymore.
So in result, I jumped up to my feet and opened my mouth so many fan girly screams could flood out, my body dancing and shimmering around in my place, revealing bunches of happiness, an emotion I have held in for a long, long time.
Now, I was finally showing the world.
Because right at the moment, I was astonished, deeply surprised at the turn of events.
At such news, I completely forgot that I was even in trouble, my mind was only wrapped around the fact that I, was the lucky person that won.
I, will be able to meet the Heatwave Band!
I danced in my spot, jumping lightly up and down. My hands were balled into fists, pushing up in front of my mouth.
Kyahhh!!! I can't believe this!
This has to be a dream!
But it was not. I pinched myself many times to be sure, throwing one of my hands over to use two of my fingers to squeeze a piece of skin found on my arm. I instantly winced from the sharp pain I felt from such an action.
But once I confirmed that the events of reality were indeed real, I threw both of my hands up to grip my midnight blue bangs, completely destroying it's curl pattern. I was totally freaking out, my cheeks growing a bright red.
I breathed heavily, my vision tunneling, growing fuzzy. "O-Oh my k-kami.. I can't believe this. I w-w-won."
"You won what? Hinata, what is the meaning of all of this racket? What did you win? Tell me!"
But I couldn't get to tell my father anything because inevitably a wave of darkness swept over my vision from all of my built up excitement and soon, I found myself collapsing almost lifelessly on the ground, losing all control of my body.
Father instantly gasped loudly in deep concern, all anger vanishing from his eyes by my fallen body.
"Oh my kami! Daughter!"
But I heard nothing as I laid in darkness, now on the carpet floor, unaware of reality due to my fainting spell.
After I heard the life changing news I just received, everything just became, a blur.
-A Few Minutes Later-
In Hinata's & Hanabi's Bedroom
The lights were dimmed all around me as I slowly regained control of my body again, my lavender eyes fluttering open from having them close for a while.
I groaned softly, my body lying on a different surface, one that was much softer than the hard carpet floor I first collapsed upon.
I blinked a bit, trying to fix my vision to the point it was normal again and not fuzzy and unbearable.
My ears only heard silence around me but the void of sound was interrupted with a child-like gasp, from a person that was highly familiar.
"Father, she's up now."
After such words were said, a cold substance was suddenly applied to the side of my warm forehead, a large hand pressing the weird item repeatedly against different spots on my skin to cool my body down.
"Daughter, are you feeling okay?"
I heard a deep, booming voice from above me say which contrasted the quiet, feminine voice I heard earlier.
I groaned once more, shifting my lavender eyes to look forward where I saw two figures hovering over my body which was now lying comfortably within my bed, the blankets drawn over me.
I smiled faintly when I slowly made sense of the two figures, my eyes held intently on the beings in hopes of indicating them.
And, I finally did.
Father and Hanabi.
Both of them held worried looks on their faces as they gazed down at my weak form lying on my bed, my eyes hooded as I just smiled up at them.
Fainting just moments ago took numerous amounts of energy out of my body, leaving me weak. I also felt a sense of fatigueness.
My head was cloudy so I couldn't remember much. Only time could give me back my memories.
But for right now, I only focused on answering my father's concern-filled question.
I nodded, slowly up at him. "Y-Yes f-father. I-I'm fine." I announced in a low whisper which indicated that not only have I not recovered my memories but my voice wasn't all there either. I groaned, giving my eyes a roll which made me look even more miserable.
Fainting is the absolute worst!
I wasn't new to the devastation fainting can cause and that's because of how heightened my emotions can get. It doesn't matter if I'm too excited, too nervous, too embarrassed, the only result of feeling such ways were, to faint.
My body is so annoying.
But thankfully, I have family with me that knows just what to do to get me back on my feet again.
My father stared down at me with a soft look, a damp towel held in one of his hands which he used to cool me down with which was working tons. By the pleasant treatment I was getting, I slowly began to feel like myself again. My body was cooling down, dropping from a less concerning temperature.
And now that I'm conscious, I began to get a hold of my vision and voice again which meant my memories of earlier weren't far behind from coming back either. And once they did, I instantly grew right back excited again.
I launched up, throwing my body up into a sitting position on my bed. There, I let out the biggest screech ever.
"Oh my gosh!" I screamed out, fangirling once more which frightened both, my father and Hanabi, since such an action was done so sudden.
My father narrowed his eyes down upon me which instantly erased all excitement I felt. It only brought me back to earlier events. I lowered my head.
I'm still, in trouble.
Darn it...
I frowned while my father placed up a scowl, his hand dropping away from my forehead to instead move elsewhere.
I watched in my new position as my father reached behind himself for something, both of his hands grabbing it.
Hanabi was watching as well but her eyes widened once she saw the male grab for my package, her lavender eyes skimming all over it, picking up key details. Because of course, this is the first time she's seen it.
Second time for me.
Father turned around from where he grabbed the said package and then presented it to me, his hands gripping the sides of it firmly.
He sighed, his fingertips beginning to apply soft taps against the orange box. "Now explain to me what's gotten you so excited. If whatever it is could make you faint then.." He trailed off, forcing the words out of his mouth. He groaned. "This should be good." He muttered, finally allowing me to explain my most fortunate situation.
And I was more than happy to.
I giggled in absolute glee and directed one shaky finger towards the box, my lavender eyes picking up the scribbled names in black ink on the box myself.
My smile widened, my head whipping back up to look at my sister and father.
"Well um, monday at lunch, Sakura told me that the band that I liked was hosting a contest for their fans. She told me that in order to enter the contest, you would need to buy one of those boxes." I explained profoundly while steadily pointing at the box in my father's hands. The male nodded slowly in response.
Hanabi, on the other hand, only sent a side glance his way, slight fear shown within her eyes. She probably was scared of how he would take my story. But I was too excited to even think of that.
I kept going on and on with my explaining, telling my father everything.
"The merch bundle is fifty dollars and amongst all the boxes is hidden a special box which has the band's handwritten signatures all over it. If a fan happens to get that said box and finds the same signatures on it, that, is how you know, you have won. Sakura unfortunately did not win. She told me her own box was black instead of orange and it did not have a single name written on it while I.."
I pulled myself forward to point once again at the box before the three of us, my finger guiding their eyes only to the signatures around the exterior of the box.
I giggled, dancing in my spot. "I've won! I am the lucky one, father! Do you know what this means?" I screeched out, once again growing overly excited which startled my father greatly.
His eyes widened for a brief moment by my behavior which of course was new to him. He's never seen me truly happy before, not this happy anyway.
His eyebrows rose, his eyes blinking in confusion. "No. I don't know what it means, daughter. But if it can explain why you're acting so odd, then be my guest. Tell me." He demanded while nodding his head at me, beckoning me to finish my tale.
And I nodded, trying my best to hold in my fan girly dances, screams and screeches while I explained to my father.
I breathed in and out deeply to help calm myself down. I don't want to risk fainting again, not when I've finally gotten father to understand my situation.
No, I have to relax.
Be calm, Hinata.
So, with all the strength I could muster, I finally told my father the reward that I've gotten myself for winning this special contest.
I reached out to lightly grab the box from his hands and I set it down in front of me. Now with his hands empty, I reached forward and grabbed them with my own.
There, we both stared at each other, directly in the eyes which allowed father to see the emotion within mine, settling the mood entirely.
Hanabi watched and listened to our encounter from where she sat on the edge of the bed, her eyes slightly widened.
I smiled. "Father, with that box, I have won four weeks to hang out with my favorite band. I can travel with them. I can meet them, personally. I can live there, with them for an entire month. Isn't that awesome?"
After my words, silence took over the entire room leaving me uneasy. My father stared down at me in total disbelief, his mouth opening and closing like he was at a loss for words.
Absolutely no sound was heard around us as I just sat and stared at my father sort out an answer to say within his jumbled up head.
I didn't know what he was thinking or how he was internally feeling from my words, from my confession, so I could only rely on his facial expressions. And even they, were a little confused to make out.
His eyes were overrunned by skepticism and perplexity, his body frozen within his spot before me.
He gripped my hands tighter yes, but he didn't make any other movements other than that which confused and also worried me.
I couldn't help the gulp that slid down my throat, the small sound resonating through the room and growing louder in the process. I whimpered quietly to myself.
Why is father not responding?
Does he not agree that this is a happy moment for me?
Does he not approve?
I didn't know what was going on with the older male in front of me, so I turned my attention onto my little sister who was just staring at father's frozen form from behind, her eyes squinted in major confusion.
At my stare, she turned her attention over to me and pouted, also giving me a shrug.
I pouted back.
The brown haired girl then turned her attention back over to our father and groaned. "Hey, father. Is everything-"
But she couldn't get the last word out because suddenly, the male moved. He moved so quickly, it actually startled the both of us.
Suddenly, I was engulfed by large amounts of warmth, my body now snuggled close to a hard chest. Arms of love were wrapped around my fully clothed body, engulfing me into a large and friendly hug.
I gasped in surprise by such an action being done and by my father of all people. I couldn't believe it so I quickly went to hug him back.
"Oh daughter! Oh my lucky, lucky daughter. I can't believe it. I can't believe this." He whispered by my ear in astonishment, now officially on board with the whole ordeal which shocked me greatly.
My mouth hung wide open as I was forced to lie directly on the front of his chest, large hands practically squeezing the life out of me.
Hanabi's mouth gaped in response to father's change of behavior, her eyes watching as the man hugged me dearly, deeply.
But the hug soon ended so the black haired man could stare down into my eyes directly, picking up the surprise held within them.
He smiled faintly, looking back down at the box in the middle of us.
He sighed long and deep, his body sitting on the edge of my bed. "Hinata, I know I've been really strict on you. No.." He paused to spare Hanabi a look, including her into the apologetic discussion.
She smiled upon that which caused our father to put up one of his own, the gesture truly brightening up his face.
"I know I've been strict on both you and I am sorry. I know there's probably a better way to parent but-"
I shook my head at him, halting his words. "No father. You did what you thought was best for us. Yes, it sucked but I think it's better this way. You taught me many, many important things in which I hold onto dearly. It's kept me out of serious trouble. It's taught me to be an intelligent and responsible, young woman. The tough love you gave us taught us, so much. So thank you."
My words were deep and sincere, coming straight from my heart and into the man's ears before me. Never before have I told my father anything heartfelt like I just need.
I've never really gotten a chance.
Father has been so distant from us, so cold and occluded. He closed his heart to the world, including us, so there was no way for me to really tell him my feelings.
I smiled, gripping my father's hands tighter.
Well I'm glad I am able to now.
It felt absolutely wonderful and it felt just as good to finally hear something so gorgeous from his side.
My father's unique colored eyes grew wide and glossy, tears taking over the surface of both of them. His stunned, taken aback face was staring directly back into mine as he sat on the side of my bed, his upper body turnt to face me.
I watched as a quick tear shed down the cold hearted male's face, his head quickly whipping away so I wouldn't see anymore fall.
I pouted upon that, moving one of my hands up to run down my father's back, once again expressing my love.
Hanabi and I watched as our father cried tears of joy before us, his shoulders trembling as he steadily let out such an emotion.
It's been so long since he showed this side of him so it was a scare for the both of us but, we quickly sought to move past that.
We, were happy.
The thick, indestructible ice that has formed around our father's heart throughout the years has finally thawed, and just because I was brave enough to express my true feelings. To really tell the man that made me, that helped bring me into this world how I truly felt.
I smiled, large and wide for I felt accomplished, I felt absolutely glorious, my hand steady rubbing my father's shoulder.
I have redeemed myself.
Stealing from my father was extremely, extremely despicable and it was very wrong of me to do but the result of such action has left a great effect.
A positive effect.
If I wouldn't have done such a thing behind father's back, none of this would be happening.
My eyes widened, drastically.
I wouldn't have won the contest and Father's heart wouldn't have thawed.
I smiled, continuing to rub my weeping father's back gently, stroking it back and forth with one of my hands. Even Hanabi joined in with consoling him. She moved closer to rub father's thigh gently, her touch soft and gentle just like mine.
I smiled, once again thinking back to my earlier thoughts.
They always say, everything happens for a reason.
So this reason I surely appreciated.
Suddenly, my thoughts were interrupted when the male before us made a loud sniff, sucking up all of his tears. His hands were thrown up to his face so he could wipe away the lingering tears that were there, completely erasing them from existence.
But we both, Hanabi and I, continued to caress his body to calm him and he appreciated every bit of it.
One more heavy sniff was made from him before he turned towards my direction, giving me a wide smile. He also turned to send the same heartfelt smile over to Hanabi who appreciated it also.
Father's large arms then, slowly moved over and wrapped around the both of us, his hand pulling us into his warm body.
There, both of us were hugged deeply by our father which warmed our hearts greatly.
I sighed softly within the hug, just savoring the moment. It felt wonderful to hug my own father. For a while, I honestly forgot how it felt.
But now...
I hummed happily.
Father, took the time to hug us both but once he was done, he let us go, only settling in looking down at the both of us.
Now, he only took this time to appreciate the two of us, his head whipping from Hanabi to me.
He smiled largely. "I love you girls, dearly. I may don't show it much but I do, very much. I care for your wellbeing, for your wants and needs, for your future, for you. I care for both of you as a whole. I'm so sorry I've put you two through so much. It's my fault and I will learn to make up for it, to move past it, to do better. But.."
His eyes suddenly moved over to the box that sat by my thigh, his smile widening and the joy in his eyes increasing.
He chucked, his face brightening up. "Maybe this was meant to happen, to bring the three of us together. And to also give you the happiness you deserve, Hinata." He declared with a nod, finally stating the one thing that I've deeply wanted to hear.
My eyes instantly widened to the size of dinner plates, completely surprised by his choice of words.
"R-Really? Do you really approve?"
He nodded by my question, rubbing my arm warmly. "I do. But it doesn't mean what you did was okay. Don't ever, do it again. Understand?" He spat sternly, his face changing quickly into one of his notorious dad looks, one that had my body tensing up to.
I nodded quickly to not disappoint him, giving him my honest answer. "Yes father." I said in response, quickly as I could which caused father to chuckle. Hanabi as well which made me direct a glare at her.
She laughed even harder.
But suddenly, father lowered his hands from us and then nodded his head towards my box, bringing everyone attention back towards the highly important object.
"Here, since you're the lucky winner, let's find out, together, what that box has in store for you..."
-A Few Minutes Later-
Loud shuffles were made within my room as I excitedly scrambled through the large merch box I've bought for myself, just looking at all the items that I've received.
So far I see that I had plenty of merch in the clothing department. I had an orange shirt which had the Heat Wave Band's album picture printed on it with its name engraved in white on the front.
I saw that I had a black hoodie which had a fire design on it with the Heat Wave Band's name engraved in red on the back of it.
I also saw that I had long black joggers as well with the Heat Waves name marked down the left pants leg in a big boulder font, the bold letters painted an orange color. The pants, were really unique.
And last but not least, I was given another shirt which came in the color of white. But this shirt was not like the first one I had received. No, this shirt came with the names of all four band members etched beautifully on the back of it, colored in red, black and orange.
The colors ran through the names like water, soon fading into another color as it traveled across a specific name.
I pulled the shirt towards me, my lavender eyes just marveling the fact that I had a special someone on my shirt.
My thumb rubbed the name passionately, back and forth, my heart melting within my chest.
Naruto Uzumaki.
I absolutely adored that man and everything about him. I definitely cannot wait to meet him in person.
Hopefully, I won't faint.
I giggled to myself upon that thought but placed down the attire on my bed to search through my merch box a bit more, pulling more things out on the way.
Hanabi and father allowed me to silently look through the merch bundle I bought for myself, just giving me this time to enjoy all I have gotten.
So as I worked myself through the box, I finally saw a small black card that had the word congratulations marked on it in orange, a phone number printed underneath the long word.
I flipped the card, back and forth but saw nothing else on it. Only one word and a phone number.
I hummed at the sight of it.
Interesting.
This must be the number I'm supposed to call.
I nodded but decided not to do such a thing now and I placed it down, back into my box. But I couldn't because my father beat me to it.
With one hand, he reached out for it, his eyes squinted on it in curiousness. "Hey, let me get a hold of that." He spoke and went to grab the card, to just take a look at it.
I watched him and shrugged, allowing him to take it but I also went to explain what such a thing meant.
It's important after all.
"Father, that's the number we have to call. After you have found out that you've won, you are supposed to call that number that rests on that card to let the band know that you, are indeed the winner. Only then we can get this show on the road." I explained excitedly, remembering the article that Sakura had shown me earlier this week.
My father nodded at the helpful information I provided, inspecting the grand card closely. "Ahh I see. We'll do it when you've finished here then." He announced which made me even more excited a squeal of some sort shooting from my lips.
"Yay!"
Hanabi laughed, moving forward where she now sat on her bed and grabbed one of the clothing I received.
I side glanced her but that was it for my excitement wouldn't let me stray away from my merch for too long. I wanted to know what else I had gotten.
So, I quickly went to look.
All in all, I saw that I have gotten the newest album that just released from the Heat Waves which were songs I hadn't even heard before.
I gasped, flipping over the heavy book to look at all the songs that were written on the back of it.
1. Fire and Fury
2. Hidden Leaves
3. Blue Bird
4. Half Man
5. Lovers Kiss
6. Blinded by me
7. Teen Love
8. Summer Days
10. Alive
11. Flow
To name a few of the songs.
In total there were twenty songs all on one CD, ready to be listened to. The joy I felt was absolutely overwhelming. It was taking over my soul.
But, I placed down the large album book, discarding it and instead setting it on top of the clothing I had previously received.
Soon, I resumed my search and I saw that I had gotten two plush dolls of two of the band members. Luckily one of them was Naruto. The other one was, of Kiba.
But I found myself loving the Naruto plush doll much, much better.
More merch emerged from the box and I saw that I had a booklet which kinda resembled a magazine, but inside were nothing but professional photos, taken of each of the band members.
I flipped through the book quickly to get a small taste of what it had in store for me but completely melted when I saw tons of sexy pictures from my idol, his blue eyes narrowed sexily at the camera.
Of course there were group photos of the entire band but my main focus was on the solo photos of Naruto.
As I kept turning, I was only smacked with the occasional sexy smirk or childish grin from him as he posed at different luxurious areas while wearing clothes that looked to cost a fortune. I couldn't help but swoon.
Gosh! I can't wait to see him in person!
There were also sexy pictures there in the magazine of the other band members in which I enjoyed looking at but my eyes was solely on Naruto and Naruto alone.
I couldn't stop melting as I scanned through the book. But unfortunately, I made it to the very end where I then, closed the book, placing it beside my plush dolls.
Well that was great but, back in the box I go.
The last few things were two toboggans, both in different colors. One was all red and another was black with the name "The Heat Waves" decorated on the front of both.
And the last thing I had gotten was a keychain which had different random but sexy pictures of the members' engrossed on the long string part of the chain.
And of course, I adored it.
I absolutely loved everything that I've gotten and I know I will cherish every last bit of it.
So once I finished searching through my grand box, I just took in every bit of merch that I now have, my lavender eyes running over the shirts, the hoodie, the pants, the keychain, the album, the magazine, the plush dolls and the toboggans that now lied on my bed.
There was so much stuff.
No wonder it was fifty dollars.
Hanabi, from where she sat gasped as she caught an entire look of the stuff strolled out on my bed, her eyes widening in glee.
"Oh my gosh, Hinata! That's a lot of stuff!" She screeched out in surprise, completely amazed at all the things that I had gotten which were once all stashed inside the orange box that sat beside me still.
She giggled, but her eyes suddenly landed on my plush dolls and she completely lost it. "Ooh, dolls!" She screeched and went to snatch them up, hopping up from her bed to do so.
But I was quicker than she was into getting them, my hand grabbing the soft toy figures and yanking them away from her reach.
She gasped while I only shook my head, clicking my tongue at her. "Oh no, Hanabi. I worked too hard to get these babies. I can't have anything happening to them." I declared with a serious head me, putting my foot down on the matter.
I wanted my precious merch to stay safe and sound and the only way that will happen is if those belongings remain with me.
And Hanabi, she understood right away. But that didn't erase the slight sadness she felt from my order.
She bowed her head, sighing. "Fine." I heard her whisper before she moved to sit on the edge of her bed where she went back to only looking. She didn't touch, only looked.
And I was satisfied.
I smiled faintly, absolutely thankful Hanabi followed my words, granting me my wish without complaint.
I loved that.
I nodded and with that I finally turned my attention onto my father who still sat at the edge of my bed, his body turned to face me.
And at my gaze, he smiled, raising his hand which held the special card I previously gave him, allowing me to see it.
"Well, are ya ready to make the call?
That question alone summoned deadly goosebumps and shivers which ran across my skin and down my back, nothing but giddiness taking over my body which made it hard for me to stay still.
I was still, in disbelief.
I was still, in shock, in surprise.
I couldn't believe this was happening and yet, everything felt so real.
More so than usual.
My emotions mainly gave it away that this, was reality and I was just about to have my life changed for the better.
Just, like I desperately want.
Just like I have desperately wished for.
It's all, coming true.
All that was holding back from my reward, my treat, my gift, is my answer.
One answer, is what will change everything.
And I quickly, gave my father that answer without any, second thoughts.
"Yes father. It's time, to make the call..."
-Later-
Much time has passed and the sun outside has completely gone down now, leaving the sky dark but starry. Many people had long gone to bed by now, calling it a night but for me...
My night was just beginning.
Standing in my now dimmed room in lavender polka dot pajamas, I was busily packing clothes into a large black suitcase which lay on my bed.
Hanabi, was fast asleep because she had already packed her bag for our upcoming trip which was just tomorrow.
A large, giddy smile came upon my lips at a thought of before involving a special moment.
The moment when father and I made the call.
Honestly, I did not know what to expect. I knew we were going to contact the Heat Wave band but what was said to me, completely blew me away. It was something beyond anything I could ever imagine.
I smiled, a toothy one.
I can remember the entire, conversation, perfectly..
-The Call-
Hinata: Hello?
The Heat Wave Band's Manager: Why hello, darling! Are you our lucky winner of the contest? How delightful.
Hinata: (giggle)
Hinata: Yes, I am. I'm the winner that has received your special box. I am calling, just like Mr, Uzumaki has instructed.
The Heat Wave Band's Manager: Ah yes. You follow directions well. Thank you for that. Things can run smoothly that way.
The Heat Wave Band's Manager: Now! To inform you, the Heat Wave Band has never had such an event like this one happen, so just the sight of you is going to make them very happy. They love their fans deeply. So to see you happy, makes them happy.
Hinata: Aww! That's so wonderful to hear. I honestly cannot believe this is happening right now.
The Heat Wave Band's Manager: Oh well you better believe it, darling. This is definitely happening! Out of a billion fans, you, were picked to spend time, personally, with The Heat Wave Band. You, are our lucky fan.
The Heat Wave Band's Manager: But first I need to know a few things from you. Of course, if you have any questions, feel free to ask them.
Hinata: Okay. I'm ready!
The Heat Wave's Band's Manager: Ah, where's my manners, I almost forgot. Names Kakashi. I, am the HeatWave Band's Manager. I manage everything. I book gigs for them. I place every one of their concerts together. I was even the one that put together this little contest for them. Of course it was their idea but I made everything happen. Not trying to brag or anything but, heh.
Hinata: (gasp)
Hinata: What! All this time I was talking to the HeatWave Band's Manager! The, Kakashi Hatake! You're awesome! This is awesome! Oh my gosh!!
Kakashi (Manager): (laugh)
Kakashi (Manager): Yes, hun. It's me. But hold in your excitement, you haven't heard anything yet.
Kakashi (Manager): Now to my questions. Before we start things, I need to know your full name, your age, and your address to your home. I need all of your information in order to announce you as the official winner of the Heat Wave Contest.
Kakashi (Manager): Also, I know I am quite the stranger to you so I don't want you to think of me as weird. I want to make you as comfortable as possible as we make our way through this entire process. Any questions I ask you are highly important for future events. We have so much planned for you after all.
Hinata: Oh my!
Hinata: I completely understand.
Hinata: So u-um, my name is Hinata Hyuga. I am seventeen years old. I'm a senor in highschool.
Kakashi (Manager): Mhm. Thanks for answering. Now, your address.
Hinata: Um.. Why do I need to give you my address?
Kakashi (Manager): Why to pick you up of course. You didn't think we would let you meet us all the way here in your own car, did ya? Oh no. First thing tomorrow, a limo will be outside your home to escort you here, where the rest of the band members will be. There, you can meet each of them personally. Face to face.
Hinata: (squeal)
Hinata: Oh my gosh! Are you serious? Then of course! My address is 1030 Adelaide east. Zip code, 3592.
Hinata: I can't wait!
Kakashi (Manager:) Alrighty. It's all written down. There will be a limo there by your house some time tomorrow. What time would be best for you?
Hinata: 9:30 a.m is fine.
Kakashi (Manager): Sounds great to me. Earlier the better, I like it.
Hinata: (giggle)
Hinata: Thank you, sir. Oh, also, I have a question..
Kakashi (Manager): Yes. Ask me anything.
Hinata: Um.. I was just wondering if more than one person can go on th-this trip with me. I know this is asking for too much but I just wanted my family to tag along.
Kakashi (Manager): ...
Kakashi (Manager): Y-You're family? I-I'm afraid-
Hinata: It's only the three of us. My father and sister, including me. Please.
Kakashi (Manager): Ah well of course! What kind of person would I be to deny you that wish? This is your time. This is your vacation to spend with your idols, so yes, you can definitely bring them along.
Hinata: Yayy! Oh thank goodness! Thank you so much for this!
Kakashi (Manager): (laugh)
Kakashi (Manager): You're welcome.
So now that they are coming along as well, the same thing applies to them too. They are to tag along with The Heat Wave Band for a month so make sure you three pack accordingly. It would be nice too, if you wore something extravagant tomorrow on the limo ride.
Kakashi (Manager): Also, I know that you probably attend school. So, I will be sure to look into that to excuse you for a month-
Hinata: Well, I will be on summer break next month so I don't think it should be a big deal. I should be in the clear, Mr Hatake.
Kakashi (Manager): Ahh, perfect! Just perfect! Everything's running swimmingly then. But uh, I think it's about time to wrap this up.
Kakashi (Manager): I am certainly looking forward to meeting you, Ms Hinata. I know the band members feel just the same as I.
Hinata: And I certainly cannot wait to meet you! A-A-And Naruto! Kiba! Shikamaru! And Sasuke! I can't wait to meet all of you. I'm so excited! I cannot wait for tomorrow.
Kakashi (Manager): (laugh)
Kakashi (Manager): And tomorrow will come before you know it. From then on out, leave your worries at your home. It's only going to be about you and your happiness. Nothing else.
Kakashi: Heh, it's been fun talking to you but I gotta bounce. See ya tomorrow. Remember what I said and lastly..
Kakashi (Manager): Congratulations, Hinata, Hyuga.
Hinata: Thank you!!!
-Beep, Beep, Beep-
-End of Call-
Now
Personally, as I talked with Kakashi Hatake, the man that is pulling the strings to the HeatWave Band's movements and actions, I just couldn't believe any of it.
I couldn't believe my ears.
The entire phone call felt like a dream, I couldn't even get any of the words I wanted to say out. I was just too excited!
Flabbergasted even.
I couldn't believe such a powerful man, such a famous individual was on a call with me, on my personal cell phone!
That is absolutely mindblowing.
Father and Hanabi heard the whole call and were excited that they two could come along and see what the hype was about. I was thrilled. Not only am I going into this and meeting the men I adore but I will have my family alongside me to keep me nice and comfortable. Everything is falling right into place and I couldn't be more happier.
I couldn't even pack correctly, my hands were shaking terribly as I folded up numerous outfits for each day of the upcoming month which I will be spending with The Heat Wave Band.
I packed dresses, since it's normally known to be hot in their famous area. I packed shorts, ripped jeans, hats, short sleeve shirts, everything that looked decent enough to wear.
I made sure to pack my best clothing yet. All my freshest styles that I owned were all going into my suitcase to wear later.
I even picked a certain special outfit to wear, first thing tomorrow.
An outfit that screams fashion.
I hummed in delight as I set the attire onto the end of my bed, even dropping black heels down on the floor before the dressy outfit.
I looked down at it, excited to say the least.
Such a perfect outfit to wear for the limo ride.
The outfit before we met all of Kakshi's Hatake's expectations which left me satisfied but also exhilarated.
I cannot wait to wear this tomorrow.
I smiled but soon went back to my suitcase to resume packing all of my clothes for my upcoming trip.
A loud zipper zipping blared loudly in the room as I moved and pushed my belongings all into one big bag, my closet growing more and more scarce as I steadily took things from it, including shoes as well.
I bit my lip once I placed down the last pair of shoes I was going to bring which were a pair of black flats, my hands gripping the two items and lodging them in place on the right side of my overstuffed suitcase.
I blew out a deep breath, now finally done packing all of my belongings. And once I was, I zipped my suitcase closed, struggling a little on the way.
But once I finished, I let out a gasp, an earlier thought popping back into my head. My body whipped around to face the only desk in the room in response.
My smile widened.
I almost forgot, my Heat Wave Bundle!
I have to bring it on the trip with me. I would love to marvel in it and it's items as I walk the same floor as the members of the Heat Wave Band.
It's the item that's caused me to win such a trip.
So...
I screeched within my spot, jumping and prancing like a mad woman. I was overjoyed, I didn't know what to do with my body anymore.
But quickly, once I was done squealing, completely forgetting Hanabi's sleeping form beside me, I jogged my way towards the bundle box that sat snuggly on the top of my desk, on full display.
My foot falls were heavy as I eagerly crossed my entire room to make it in front of the one surface that held what I wanted.
I grabbed the orange bundle box as soon as I made it in front of the desk, gripping the sides with both hands.
There, I took another second to marvel at the grand prize in my possession, my hands turning the box around to get a look at all the names imprinted on it.
𝓝𝓪𝓻𝓾𝓽𝓸 𝓤𝔃𝓾𝓶𝓪𝓴𝓲
𝕾𝖆𝖘𝖚𝖐𝖊 𝖀𝖈𝖍𝖎𝖍𝖆
𝔎𝔦𝔟𝔞 ℑ𝔫𝔲𝔷𝔲𝔨𝔞
ѕнιкαмαяυ ηαяα
All of their names were written differently, according to their own handwriting but each look was unique. I couldn't stop staring at it.
I twisted the box slowly within my two small hands, just taking in how beautiful each name shined on the orange box, the light from the only lamp in the room reflecting off of it.
I sighed long and deep before picking up my feet once again, finally peeling my lavender eyes from the delicacy in my hands and instead making my way back to my suitcase. There, I placed the orange box on top of it.
The house was quiet as I went to finish my packing, just double checking my room to see if I had gotten everything.
I will be gone from my home, well from my town for an entire month so I have to be certain that everything I need is within my suitcase.
So, I did one final look.
It took a few minutes of searching but soon found out that I was indeed in the clear.
Now all that's left is for me, to head on to bed. And that's exactly, where I went next.
In an exhausted but highly excited heap, I fell upon my messy bed sheets with a sigh, my suitcase and heat wave bundle now lying upright by my bedroom door.
I yawned, a tiresome yawn, my body now amongst my bed sheets, lying soundly.
I smiled, one of my hands reaching over to grab my blankets. With them, I pulled them up over my body so I can get even more comfortable.
Ahh, much better.
I thought to myself, now finally relaxed. But I couldn't help but think about tomorrow a little.
Ooh, I wonder how everything is gonna go.
I know things will be more than I can ever imagine and that, was something I just could not wait for.
I cannot wait, for my dream to come true..
I yawned once more after such a thought ran across my mind, a content smile taking over my lips.
Naruto, I can't wait, to meet you...
And with that last thought in mind, my hooded eyes grew even heavier and soon, sleep took me over, just as I wanted...
***
A.N.
Well, that was much more exciting, right?!?
Hinata has won The Heat Wave Band's contest and will be hanging out with them for an entire month!
Soon enough, Naruto and the band will be introduced and finally you all will read about them and their glory. And of course, because this is a Naruhina story, Naruto and Hinata is just about to meet.
So things are slowly getting heated! The anticipation is rising, haha!
But, I really hoped you enjoyed this chapter! Don't forget to comment your thoughts and vote!
Also, I forgot to ask but what do you all think about Naruto and the gang's band name? The Heat Wave Band? Does it fit? Is it corny? Is it tacky? Is it sexy? Let me know, haha. I really wanna know what you all think about it.
