-Next Morning-

Hinata's P.O.V

A loud and repeated "ding" could be heard throughout my entire room as I laid fast asleep in my oh so comfortable bed beside my little sister. Both of us were kept up in la la land, no one picking up the alarm that was constantly blaring in the room, telling us it was time for...

School.

The alarm rang, rang and rang until suddenly.. A gasp shot out of my lips and I forced my lavender eyes completely open, practically throwing myself up out of bed. Slight panic was held within my two lavender orbs as I scrambled over to my phone which lay on a night stand beside both of our beds. My breathing was growing unsteady in no time as I moved to grab it, picking up the medium sized phone.

With a click, I had the raging alarm that bellowed from my device to stop, my eyes instead seeking out for the time.

My fingers were crossed that it was actually a decent time and not a time where it passed opening school hours.

That would mean Hanabi and I slept in!

But as my phone came on, producing a bit of light, it showed me something I definitely didn't want to see.

8:09 a.m.

My eyes widened to the max at such a disappointing, extremely unsettling sight before me.

Oh.

My.

Kami.

My body felt almost frozen in place as I stared at the digital clock on my own personal phone which was past the time we were supposed to be at school.

Seven a.m. is the time Hanabi is supposed to be at school.

Eight for me.

Now, we're late!!

"Oh no." I whispered out in defeat, a groan of disappointment soon following behind my words.

I gulped but on that note, I quickly placed my phone back down on the nightstand in front of me to only move over to cater to my unconscious sister.

Even after the numerous rings of my alarm, she was still fast asleep, exhausted from staying up so late last night. I griamanced upon recalling such a time which was all my fault.

But I wanted to watch the band!

I had a choice then. I either could've gone to sleep and waited to show Hanabi the Heat Wave band another time or, I could've stayed up and ignored everything else and chose to show Hanabi the band's greatness instead. I sighed to myself.

I picked option B last night.

I just couldn't let the moment go to waste. I just love that band so much. My obsession with it will surely crush me one day. But..

I don't care.

Hardly ever do I get to do what I want. Father is so strict when it comes to us and our involvement in school, we have no time to include anything else. Father, wants us to be fully dedicated.

And that's including putting our all in the school assignments, homework, quizzes, studying, tests and exams. We are expected to stay committed to all that we are given in school. We were told to be 100% in...

Everything!

It was so hard trying to please father, take care of Hanabi and, do the things that I wanted as well.

But, things will get better. I just know it.

They have to.

But first...

With a roll of my eyes, I moved my body over to my left where Hanabi was located sleeping soundly, my hands gently finding themselves on her covered shoulders, just deciding to step away from my thoughts for now.

I can think more later.

A faint smile came on my face as I watched my little sister's body move lightly up and down according to her calm breathing, both of her adorable little eyes closed off from the world. She looked completely out of it but I had to wake her.

I have to take her to school before it's really, too late.

So, with a reluctant shake to her shoulder, I whispered down to her, calmly as can be.

"Hanabi, wake up." I called out to her while steadily keeping up with my light pushes. I didn't want to be too rough or aggressive so I instead applied gentle nudges and used my inside voice to try to wake her up. But at the moment it didn't seem like that method was working. But, I didn't give up. I kept up with my shaking and called out to my little sister until she began to stir.

Lightly, her body began to move, her arms flying above her head so she could stretch her entire body. My smile widened upon seeing her slowly awaken, my hand working itself up to her braided hair.

I rubbed her head, softly, "Hanabi, it's time for school. We have to hurry. Father will be furious if we don't attend today."

A groan passed my little sister's lips and I watched as her eyes finally fluttered open, revealing the exhaustion held within them.

She frowned, one of her hands moving down to rub her nose. "Mmm, what time is it?" She whispered out in a groggy tone which immediately caused me to grimace. I didn't want Hanabi to panic seeing we were running extra late today.

So, I only settled on shrugging, quickly coming up with a response that could distract her. "Uh, I think that should be the least of your worries, little sister. How about you settle on washing up in the bathroom? I'll have your clothes ready when you come back." I announced kindly, offering to pick out her clothes for her. And that, made her extremely happy, her body slowly sitting up. She sent a thankful smile my way in response.

"Aww. Thanks, onee-san!" She said in appreciation, moving to also give me a quick hug for she soon jumped out of bed and zipped out of the room to freshen up for the day.

I giggled upon her change in behavior but then began to travel over to the closet which was found on the right side of the room, close to Hanabi's bed. The room was large so the both of us could fit our belongings inside.

The closet, was also a size that was massive, my bare feet quickly taking me in front of it.

With both of my hands, I didn't dally for a second and opened the two double doors to be greeted with a large room filled with clothes. Both sides of the walk-in closet held colorful wardrobes for the both of us; Hanabi and I.

But the articles of clothing that were hung up on the right side by hangers belonged to me while the clothes hung up on the left side belonged to my little sister.

So first, I moved over to my little sister's side to pick out an outfit so she can wear to school today.

My fingers scrambled through bunches of clothing which were made in her size, that only belonged to Hanabi.

Right off the bat I was hit with numerous colors, colors of the rainbow.

Red shirts..

Blue skirts..

Purple dresses..

Jeans, shorts and skirts were folded neatly in baskets underneath, arranged so it was easy to find what is needed.

Only long and short sleeve shirts, blouses and dresses were hung up neatly by brown clothes hangers. All of her clothes were neatly arranged so it was easy to get to, as were mine.

My own clothes, hanging up on the right side of the large walk-in closet were set up in the same exact way. By doing this, by setting up both of our clothes the same, no one will be confused as to where everything is.

Everything is all tidy and organized.

Just like I want.

I smiled at the sight of my work but then shook my head, the tactic only to help pull me away from my thoughts. I had no time to waste.

School is where we need to go.

And we need to get there, in a hurry.

So, blowing out another sigh, I used the rest of the time I had by myself to pick out me and Hanabi's school clothes. I used the silence that was in the room to really think about my choice. And once I made my mind up, I closed the two double doors once again, now holding up two newly chosen outfits.

And with that, I turned and set both of them on our beds so we both, Hanabi and I could get ready, for the day.

-A Few Minutes Later-

"Hanabi! Hanabi, lunch bag!" I called out warningly as I watched as my fully clothed sister just about ran out of our quiet, empty house.

Now all fresh, Hanabi was clothed in a white short sleeve shirt which had the word 'love' written in black across the front of it.

A beautiful black skirt fitted her bottom, leaving her feet to accommodate white tennis shoes which had black flower designs all over it.

And also, to finish off her awesome school outfit, her long pretty brown hair was braided into dutch braids, where there were two braids running down the back of her head to only fall on both of her shoulders. Her hair was weaved together by three strands at a time, on the left-hand side and right-hand side of her head, settling down Hanabi's scalp which created the hairstyle that is seen on her pretty little head now. The hairstyle helped bring out all of Hanabi's beauty.

Looking at the designer braids and all of its glory, I couldn't help but to feel proud of myself for I was the one that accomplished such a task. I smiled to myself.

It took lots of work but now, Hanabi's more than ready for school.

Mornings were always like this, except it would be much earlier and I would have driven Hanabi to school on time.

But today...

I grimaced upon that but moved to grab my little sister's cat designed lunch box from the kitchen counter and waved it at her.

Immediately, she stopped dead in her tracks and instead, quickly moved back into the kitchen for it, since she would desperately need it later.

For lunch at school...

She giggled nervously as she politely moved to grab it, my hands dropping the small bag filled with food inside her hands.

She smiled, truly appreciative. "Thanks, onee-san!" She said happily which I giggled to.

"You're welcome. Now, you go on ahead. I'll be right behind you." I said cheerfully, using my hands to wave her off, signaling that she could leave and wait inside my car for me. She nodded instantly, receiving the memo.

But before she went, she sent me one last smile before soon jetting off, leaving me in the kitchen to tidy things up.

Quickly, I grabbed my own lunchbox which was a white one with little purple flowers decorated on it. The box was formed into a large rectangle which held all sorts of pockets, big and small on it to hold my belongings in.

So I grabbed the box by it's black strap and held it tight, my large lavender bookbag sitting snuggled on my back.

Quickly, before I left the house, I sought for an update on the time, my free hand grabbing the last thing that was left in the kitchen.

My phone.

I pulled it up and once it was in my grasp, I checked the digital clock my device provided.

8:43 a.m.

A groan of annoyance slipped from my lips at reading such a time but soon, I picked up my feet to work myself forward, through the clean house.

Father was already off to work, for he had to leave at a very early time.

Before sunrise early.

Usually, if we were sleeping in, he would wake us up but because of last night.. I frowned.

He let us sleep in on purpose.

For punishment, I suppose..

It was cruel, some of the things our Father does to get back at Hanabi and I if we were to say, getting on his bad side. If we, so much as to do one thing bad, he would take it upon himself to ground us for weeks, take away our electronics, set a ridiculous time for bed and so on and so forth. His mind seemed like it had an endless supply of punishments that just hurts the same every time.

It hurts, badly.

I sighed sadly to myself, my feet taking me around the house to make sure everything was just how Father had left it.

That's, another thing that angers him.

A dirty house.

So, I make sure it's clean every morning before leaving since he gets home before we do.

So first, I checked our warm and cozy living room which consisted of three black lounge chairs. One being a loveseat which had two white pillows placed on the ends. One recliner and a three seater sofa which was also black. But instead of pillows there to use as decoration, a white wool blanket was there which was crafted from smooth yarn and sharp needles.

The warm, beautiful blanket laid folded along the top of the chair for everyone to see. No one touched it. No one did anything to it because it was specially handcrafted by...

Mother.

The blanket belonged to her.

It was something Father cherished, just as Hanabi and I did. So, we keep it here, right in the space we relax in, in a remembrance of her.

The blanket, is a keepsake.

I smiled at the sight of it until I remembered that I have to get going..

And fast!

So quickly, I checked all of the back rooms for cleanliness. That including, father's room, the room Hanabi and I share and two bathrooms in the house.

All clean.

So with that I zoomed back towards the front of the house, stopping to cut off all of the lights beforehand so the house was instead dark. Once I was done, I quickly made my way back to the front door.

My tennis shoes made squeaking noises on the wooden floor as I made quick steps to the large front door where Hanabi had previously ran out of.

My attire, just like Hanabi's, was also cute, in my opinion anyway. My long midnight blue hair was done up in another special hairstyle I learned from my friends which was called the...

Waterfall braid.

It was a braid that needed three strands of hair on both sides of my head. With them braided, it was then worked across the middle of my head, horizontally, creating a waterfall of braided hair. The rest of my hair was left to lie in curls down my back, framing my face beautifully.

Now for my attire, I also had on a short sleeve shirt because these times are during the summer where the heat was intense.

Summer break was just around the corner and I couldn't wait for it.

The short sleeve shirt had an eye-catching water design on it which held the colors, hot pink, blue and black.

The design resembles closely to water droplets of all sizes, th colors splashing on my shirt to mix, completing the look with the word...

Girl Power.

On the very front of the shirt. The saying, ran down the shirt which led to all white jeans which covered my legs, black tennis covering my feet along with white socks. The laces located on my shoes were colored hot pink to match my shirt, my attire ending off with that.

Late as I am, I'm still ready for school.

I nodded to myself on that note, continuing with my journey outside with quick steps.

Soon, I threw my hand out so I could grab the door knob, opening the unlocked door without wasting any time, my feet taking me outside right afterwards.

My hand, still propped on the door, I closed it to only turn so I could lock it with my house key which could be found in my back pocket.

While I was at it, I slipped my phone into my jean pocket and grabbed my rattling keys to guide it straight into the front door of my Father's home, soon turning it to officially lock the entire house. I smiled once I did without any trouble, my hand holding on to my keys for now.

Immediately, the sun from above shone bright onto my cute clothes as I began to walk down a paved path to an all black Honda Fit which was parked closer to the house, on the same paved pathway.

My feet were moving fast, my keys rattling within my hand as the distance between me and my own personal vehicle grew closer and closer. The car was one that my Father had bought me for my sixteen birthday, last year. Strict and mean as he was, he still wants me to be successful. He loves me after all.

In his own little way.

A bright smile won its way onto my pale face, my body walking down the path to only make it beside the driver's side of my car, my lavender eyes shooting through the window to see Hanabi.

Patiently waiting, she sat in the passenger seat on her mobile device, her fingers rapidly tapping at the screen which let me know that she was playing a game of some sort while she waited for me. I couldn't help but coo at such an adorable display.

But I quickly got back on track and opened my car door, soon hopping inside it. I didn't waste any time and closed the door, and jammed my car key inside the ignition, my little sister's eyes lighting up at the sight of me.

"Onee-san!" She screeched loudly, glad to finally see me, her dark purple book bag rooted by her legs, slightly found underneath the seat. Her seatbelt was locked on across her as she looked over at me who kindly sent her a smile.

But it was quick for I turned to put my own seatbelt on, working the flexible belt across my chest to only click it in the available space inside a black belt beside my right thigh.

"Hi, Hanabi. Are you ready for school?" I asked as I steadily set up everything, soon pulling one hand down on the automatic gear located in the middle of the vehicle, extremely close to the car's radio which quietly played a kid friendly pop song. But I didn't pay it any mind, for I was too concentrated on my task.

So soon, I started up the car and pulled the gear back to place the vehicle in reverse, soon backing out of our home, my eyes steady checking the mirrors around me.

Hanabi hummed at my previous question as I drove backwards out of our home's little lot, my hands navigating the car by the wheel.

"Well I guess. I am ready to see my friends but I'm also ready for summer break too. School has been a serious pain in the butt." She groaned out in annoyance, referring to the work and all the tests that she was given at the place where education is taught and passed down.

I couldn't help but giggle at Hanabi who had her arms crossed, her head shaking in agitation at the mere thought of school.

Now on the road, I pulled my hand back over to the gear and instead pulled it quickly upward until it hit the little "D" which meant drive.

And soon, I was off, speeding down the road to Hanabi's middle school which wasn't too far from our home.

Maybe about 5 to 10 miles from here.

It wasn't too far, which was great for me so, I used this time to drive as fast as I could, while still obeying the law.

And I was still able to recall Hanabi's question and answer it.

I nodded to it, agreeing. "I know, Hanabi. It's hard but it'll help in the long run. Trust me, I dislike all the paperwork also but, if education is what I need to be successful then, so be it. Work hard now, you'll surely be awarded later." I announced proudly while keeping my lavender eyes trained on the road and my surroundings for safety. Many cars drove quickly beside me as I traveled down a couple roads straight towards Hanabi's school.

The young girl beside me hummed at my response which worked inside of her brain to stay. "Wow. I never actually saw it like that. I only saw it as something we just had to do and that's, well, it." She said, speaking her mind which granted another giggle out of me.

Oh Hanabi's so innocent.

I turned slightly over to give her a warm smile, one hand of mine letting off of the wheel to pat delicately at her head, watching her braids while I did so, "Oh I know, Hanabi. Now, I hope that changes your mind about it all. By thinking that way, it gives you a bit of motivation to do what you have to." I explained also, teaching her a few more things as I finally made it to her school which was littered with cars but no kids were seen in sight.

But still I rode inside and looped around the parking lot full of cars which were most likely owned by the teachers, the principal and probably a few visitors, my black car riding straight to the front of the school where the entrance was located. There, I set the vehicle in parked mode.

Hanabi smiled upon seeing her school, our conversation granting her motivation.

She looked towards me, eyeing me as if I was mother. My eyes widen upon that.

Her smile brightened in nothing but love and appreciation, one hand of hers moving over to pat at my thigh. "Thank you, onee-san. Well I guess, I'll see you at three, right?"

"Yep! After I leave school, I'll come straight here for you. Just like normal." I quickly responded back in which she nodded, soon working herself out of the car, grabbing her book bag and lunch while she was at it. I watched her the entire time as she finally stepped outside once again, her free hand propped on the door.

With a glance back, she smiled which was the last thing I saw along with a wave before Hanabi walked towards her school to soon be admitted in.

Now sitting in silence, I breathed lightly, my eyes glancing down at the clock that was on my radio.

I grimaced at what I saw, soon pulling the gear back into drive and zooming off.

I have to hurry and get to school!

Now!

-Later-
At School

The third bell rang for lunch and I couldn't be happier. All morning, I experienced nothing but boredom and of course, anger because once I walked through my high school gates, I was given a tardy slip, one that counted against me. I groaned to myself as I walked through the busy hallways.

Just great..

I thought, my body only feeling irritation towards the memory. But, it was finally lunchtime which made me somewhat happy.

My friends will be there with me!

I haven't seen them all day since I've been in school and so far, I have only been talked to death in two classes.

Two really boring classes.

It was a class of math and art. But now...

I get to finally hang out with my friends.

I put up a wide, excited filled smile at that thought, my feet continuing to take me down the hall. I caught many stares as I ventured through the school and towards the cafeteria, people from everywhere taking in my fashionable outfit which radiated beauty.

A few girls rolled their eyes while guys smirked and stared in awe at the sight of me. But none of them were on my mind.

Something else was.

After a few turns down long crowded hallways, I finally made it up to a large room which possessed big double doors that were now pulled wide open, allowing many people the ability to flood in and eat for the day.

Now, it was my turn and I quickly rushed in, my own lunchbox in hand. My hair flew in the steady breeze I made as I quickly stepped past numerous students chatting, sitting at long rectangular tables which stood in the way of me making it to a circular table, placed in the far back of the cafe. A place, which my friends and I usually sit to eat and chat together.

And I gasped to find them all sitting there, waiting, with their lunch boxes opened, one seat available for me which had a pink fluffy coat placed over it.

A pink haired girl sat beside it and a glare would come on her pale face when she spotted someone eyeing the covered seat.

Fortunately, the glare scared off everyone who wanted to sit in the seat, leaving the spot for me. And I quickly ran over and took it.

All of the beautiful teen girls who sat at the circular table instantly gasped at the sight of me finally take the seat beside Sakura, one of my closest friend's.

"Hinata! Yay, you're here!" TenTen screeched, my other close friend, who looked extremely happy to see me.

TenTen, was a sporty girl, one that was involved in many sports so mostly, her long brown hair was pulled up, out of her face.

Usually, they were placed into two buns which sat cutely on the top of her head. The hairstyle really fit her, in my opinion.

A white blouse was seen on her body, a shirt that sat slanted on her torso which showed off her black tank top underneath.

Her bottom wear was something I couldn't see at the moment because of the table covering it but so far, she looked absolutely adorable.

I smiled at her, soon turning my attention onto my other friend who sat beside TenTen, her hair blonde.

A large smile could be seen on her own pale face which let me know that she was happy to see me as well.

Ino, was her name and she, had long blonde hair which was pulled up into a high ponytail, some of it working as a bang which droops low down her pale face, covering one of her light blue eyes.

And from what I could see, I saw that she wore a dress, an attire that was a lilac color, a shade of purple that was light and beautiful.

Also, the fabric looked to be made out of lace; a large bow of the same color spotted on her waist line, the decorational fabric spilling down the dress. Overall, she looked gorgeous as well.

And last but not least, I spared Sakura a glance who sat beside me, just ready to speak and shower me with stories, with news.

Her hair, was short and pink, a bold color but she looked gorgeous with it. I can't really see her having another hair color but the one she has now. I couldn't help but giggle at that.

That would be so weird.

Today, Sakura wore something casual. A designer shirt which had the colors, pink, white and black on it On the top half of the shirt only pink was shaded across it. The middle was where the black and white came in which worked in strips, the design running across the entire shirt, horizontally.

While at the end laid only white, completing the shirt's cute pattern.

And to officially finish off Sakura's lovely look, she had regular jean shorts on which stopped mid thigh as well as all white slip on shoes.

Overall, my friends rocked in the clothing department, just as I did. We all looked totally fabulous.

"Hinata, Hinata! I'm so glad you're here. I have to tell you something! It's important!" Sakura quickly announced which caught my attention immediately. I snapped my head towards her, letting out a surprised gasp.

"What? What is it, Sakura?" I shot back with excitement held in my own voice, an emotion that could be easily picked up by the girls.

Ino and TenTen giggled as they steadied ate their packed lunches, just watching Sakura and I conversate.

The large room we sat in was slowly growing crowded as students overtime entered inside it. Only a certain number of people could enter because not everyone was assigned this particular time for lunch. Luckily, I did along with my friends.

Slowly, I pulled my lunch box onto the grey table before me which worked in a circle, four seats placed around it.

My eyes were trained on Sakura the entire time as I unzipped my bag, to reveal the goodies which rested neatly inside.

Sakura giggled, soon moving forward into her own pink lunchbox for her phone.

"Oh my gosh, Hinata. You're going to freak out when you see this." She added on as I watched her begin to scroll through her phone for the wonderful news she wanted to show me.

I couldn't help but grin, my eyes moving away from her to spare my lunch a glance instead.

Inside, my lunch box held a hand tossed salad I personally made myself which consisted of lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sliced carrots, onions, croutons and grilled chicken.

Over the healthy meal laid white milky ranch which enhanced the flavor of every ingredient that made up my salad.

It looked so good!

I couldn't wait to eat it. But, alongside my main dish, I had a bowl of sliced apples, a bag of salty crackers and for a little dessert, I had two sugar cookies.

And to top it off, I had a bottle of water to chug everything down with.

Overall, everything looked wonderful and I pulled it all out while I waited for Sakura to show me what she wanted to.

Ino giggled, soon slipping a potato chip in her mouth right afterwards, "Oh I bet it has something to do with that band you two like. Isn't it?" She added on with one raised eyebrow, her light blue eyes staring over at Sakura's phone.

And just like a flip of a switch, both of our heads snapped up at the mention of such a band, literal hearts forming in our eyes.

"Wh-What?"

"It is! How did you know?!" Sakura screeched, butting in over me who was oblivious to the entire situation.

But Sakura's words confirmed everything and I grew happy again.

"What?!" I gasped out once more on which Sakura nodded, confirming it all while she continued to tap at her phone.

Ino, settled on shrugging to Sakura's earlier question, a playful smirk held on her face.

"Well, what can I say? I just know." She teased with a wiggle of her eyebrows which caused TenTen to giggle, but I was perplexed.

How did she know before I did?

Ino didn't like the Heat Wave band, not as much as Sakura and I did. Hell, she only listened as we talked about them and nothing more. I don't think she's ever heard Naruto and his band play. I clicked my tongue.

She's missing out.

My face held a look of disbelief on it as I just stared back at Ino who had information that I desperately needed to know. I want to know everything about The Heatwave Band. I just can't get enough of them.

But the look on TenTen's face told a different story, her eyes rolling at Ino's claim.

She turned to her to only nudge her by the elbow, slightly startling her, "Oh don't lie to Hinata, Ino. You'll only get her all worked up. We all know how she feels about that band. Especially when it comes to her precious, Naruto!" She said and then acted as if she was swooning, her body falling helplessly onto Ino's who reached out for her, both of her hands holding up the brown haired girl.

Both girls giggled, including Sakura by TenTen's performance. But I didn't find the teasing funny. It only made me embarrassed. And when I get embarrassed, I turn red.

Like really red.

My face, especially my cheeks, gradually heated up until it was a color that rivaled the red hue of a tomato, my eyes widened and my lips pressed tightly together.

My movement was put on hold seeing TenTen's words took a serious tug at my heartstrings. She spoke about...

Naruto.

Just at the mere mention of his name, I blush, I freeze, I sutter, I fall in a blissful spell.

He's just so, so... great!

I sighed in happiness upon such a thought but my little blissful spell didn't last long because it only broken by girly laughter.

"Look, she's blushing, TenTen!"

"Aww! She's probably thinking about all of those pictures she has of him on her phone!"

"Oh my gosh! Isn't there a picture of him where he reveals his six pack?"

"Eh? Hinata has that picture? On her phone!"

"Yes! I saw!"

Both Ino and TenTen joked teasingly about my crush on the rock star, Naruto Uzumaki, a famous blonde male that is known by all. Twenty one and famous, he has everything a person can only dream of.

And he got it from just doing what he loved to do.

I smiled but my blush only darkened, strengthened as the two girls in front of me wailed in laughter, still joking about the secret love I had for the band leader, Naruto.

I rolled my eyes, pulling my arms up aggressively to only fold them across my chest, a gesture that shows I was pretty upset with their teasing. "Hey. It's not funny." I groaned out but they only continued.

They laughed and laughed, slightly causing a scene. Some of the other students who were sitting at the rectangular tables near us began to turn and look our way in confusion, others in annoyance. And at the unwanted attention we were attracting, I couldn't help but grow even more embarrassed, my breathing growing awfully unsteady.

I turned my body away which granted Sakura's attention who was still scrolling and typing on her phone, obviously trying hard to find that important thing she wanted me to see.

She shook her head, sending a playful glare at Ino and TenTen across the table.

"Don't mind them, Hinata. They don't know what it's like to find angels on earth." She declared with a nod, her words referring to the famous rock stars that we both were obsessed with. The men that knew how to play tunes of wonder very well.

Exceedingly well.

And by Sakura's reassuring words, I grew extremely calm.

I smiled, the color to my face slowly lighting back up for Sakura's words really did the trick.

I feel a little better now.

I nodded thankfully. "Thank you, Sakura." I said politely, showing her my gratitude on which she nodded happily back. But soon after, the pink haired girl scrolled just a little bit more on her phone, landing on exactly what she needed which made her eyes shoot wide open.

Her mouth gaped, allowing happy cheers to flood out. "Oh my gosh! I found it! Yes!" She screeched out in joy, obviously happy that she finally found the special, important news she had to show me.

My eyes lit up by her words of joy, her voice also pulling Ino and TenTen back to reality.

After all that laughter, their cheeks were now red, their breathing extremely out of control. Their lunches were untouched for a bit while I, on the other hand, had all of my delectable food on display, ready to be eaten.

My salad was laid in a rectangular container which was clear, so you could see through it. A blue lid was placed on the top to cover the delicious contents from bacteria and germs or anything that could harm such food.

But now, since my stomach is gurgling and growling like crazy, I went to start eating.

We only have thirty five minutes to eat lunch and then, we all have to split up to get back to class again. Even at the thought of that made me sad. But..

I shouldn't worry about that right now.

So sadness, did not take over my emotions and instead, a large happy smile remained on my face as I pulled my fingers over to only take off the lid to my salad to give me access to it.

Sakura sat beside me the entire time with her phone in her hand, her eyes running over the information on her screen.

She nodded. "Yes, this is it. Check this out, Hinata." She declared excitedly, pulling the device over so I was able to see it.

Ino and TenTen, now calm, only looked and munched on their lunches as I stopped my actions to look down at the content on Sakura's floral phone.

With widened lavender eyes, I scanned them left and right across the page, just reading everything.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙒𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝘼𝙩 𝙄𝙩 𝘼𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣!

Lead vocalist and electric guitar player, Naruto Uzumaki, has put together a special contest that involves you!

All Heat Wave fans!

Naruto and his band have come together and have decided to give back to the ones that adore them, that has given them their wonderful positions.

So, a contest is now on for anyone that calls themselves a Heat Wave Fan.

(Interview) "It's simple." Naruto spoke cheerfully, "The contest rules are as follows: merch for the Heat Wave Band has been made specifically for this contest. Now, all you have to do, my lovely fans, is buy a merch bundle which will cost you $50. Once you do, you will receive a box full of clothes and merchandise with our exclusive band name decorated on it.

"But! Naruto paused, "only one holds signatures of Sasuke Uchiha, Kiba Inuzuka, Shikamaru Nara and me, Naruto Uzumaki, written exclusively on the outside of your merch bundles, in black ink. Only one, lucky person will have this box."

"And if they do, a number on a special card we'll be stashed inside the box. Call it. And only then, your reward will be granted to you."

The article was mostly quoted from a recent interview between Naruto and a famous host who helped The Heat Wave Band get their creative news out about their special contest to the world, to their fans.

But after reading such an intense event hosted exclusively by the band I adored, I just couldn't contain myself.

With several squeals, I wiggled excitedly in my seat, nothing but happiness found on my face. "Oh my gosh! I can't believe it. Are they really hosting a contest?" I squealed out in disbelief which earned a giggle from Sakura for she was excited just as I was.

Ino and TenTen looked up once they heard what I said, their jaws moving constantly from all the food they were placing in.

"What's this, I hear about a contest?" Ino mumbled out between chews, her eyes held on the both of us who showed nothing but excitement.

I spared a glance at Sakura by Ino's question, signaling for her to answer it.

Sakura obliged.

She raised her hand, the one that held her phone, soon giving it a shake. "Well, the band Hinata and I are fond of, is hosting a special contest. The contest starts this week and ends next week. Fans of the band are to buy an exclusive merch bundle which is just a box of clothes and merchandise exclusively made by the Heat Wave Band. But, that's when the contest comes in. Only one lucky person will be given the box with the band members' names personally signed on it. Once that said person finds the names and also the number that's stashed inside their box, they are to call that number and then, they will be able to spend four weeks with the entire band as they travel the world, singing on tour."

Nothing but enthusiasm was heard in Sakura's voice as she explained the entire situation to the three of us, the excitement in my heart just escalating and escalating. I was getting so excited, I started to lose my appetite.

This is absolutely thrilling!

It was so amazing to hear. I blushed, a long, ecstatic sigh soon escaping my lips.

Four weeks on tour with Naruto and his entire band...

What a dream come true.

Just thinking about it made me swoon and blush, a small hint of nausea sweeping over me but, I fought it off the best I could.

This all sounds so unreal.

But Sakura confirmed it all. She even showed me so it has to be real.

Ino gasped in awe, her hands moving down to ball up the bag of potato chips she was munching on earlier. "Wow. Sounds awesome. Are you two going to enter to, ya know, see if you get that lucky box?" She asked curiously while discarding her snack to soon work back over to her bologna sandwich.

But her question snapped reality back for me, my blissful world where Naruto was just inches within my reach all faded away. I was brought back to my harsh reality where I had no money, no job and definitely no one close that would be nice enough to loan me fifty dollars. I frowned, my shoulders dropping...

My Father would never approve.

Besides, he said that the band I liked was horrible. So he definitely won't spend his hard working money on it just for me to "luckily" win the special box.

So on that note, all happiness and joy left me and now I was sitting in silence. I was sitting in...

Defeat..

But Sakura on the other hand was still happy as a butterfly, her smile wide and bright. "Yep! My mother was nice enough to give me fifty dollars to enter the contest. So, I did that as soon as possible. My bundle will be arriving in two days." She informed us happily but then turned to me, her eyes running over my sad and disappointed form.

Her smile faded. "Hinata, are you, planning on entering?" She asked quietly, already finding partial of the answer by my facial features. TenTen frowned once she glanced over at me, her hands wrapped around a small hoagie sandwich, which was filled with white cheese, ham, lettuce and tomatoes. It actually looked pretty good from afar.

But my mood was on the sad side of the emotion scale, so I didn't bother to react to anything. I was.. let down.

Disappointed.

Things weren't going my way and now, I have to admit it.

I sighed, turning my attention over to Sakura from where she sat closely beside me, her worried filled eyes rooted on my sad being the entire time.

And now with my lavender eyes held on her, I gave her my answer. An answer I wish I didn't have to give.

I shook my head, frowning deeply. "No.. I-I can't enter into the contest. I, don't have any money." I admitted with the same gloomy frown on my face, my voice extremely quiet. But the girls around me heard my words and also, grew sad by them.

TenTen cursed. "Damn. That's not good. Can't you ask your father, Hinata?"

Immediately, I shook my head, silencing TenTen's words which were all hopes of helping. I said nothing more about my Father for it would only leave me depressed.

So instead, I moved on to finally pay my lunch some attention, my fingers slowly sliding over to grab my fork that rested inside my salad container. And with it, I began to eat, discarding our conversation for now. My friends agreed to also move on from such a topic and just resume their lunch as well.

Now quiet, we all could hear how rowdy everyone was that sat and ate in the school cafeteria, many students laughing and talking all at the same time.

The rest of the time was spent in silence as we all ate our food as fast as we could but still enjoyed it, somewhat. We worked hard on filling our bellies up for the day, my fingers moving to stab my fork into a piece of lettuce which was drizzled with ranch on the top, soon pulling it up to my mouth to chop down on it.

The whole while my mind was filled with sad thoughts of the band I yearned to see but would never get to. I was now devastated, upset.

I can't believe this.

But it was true.

The contest that the Heat Wave Band is hosting will just be something I won't attend.

I'll lose the chance to enter...

To win.

But, I could only shrug it off. I could only forget about it for there was nothing I could do.

I sighed sadly while I carried on eating away at my lunch, just taking in the delicious food until it was no more.

Every so often, my friends would shoot worried peeks my way but never once did I look up to meet their gaze. I only ate, and sat in silence, deep within my thoughts. And they respected that and left me alone.

It was like that the entire lunch period and I left with the same mood constant.

Well that, surely ruined my day...

I thought as I ventured back through the halls now, with an empty lunchbox to soon make it to my science class and then history, to finish the day...

-Later-

Finally after two hours or so, the last bell rang and I sped out of my history class in a flash. My mood was still on the deep end so a little part of me was ready to leave.

I looked down at my phone in my hands, sparing my clock a glance.

2:32 p.m.

I sighed upon seeing such a time. I have to hurry and get to Hanabi's school to pick her up and take her home.

School ends for her at 3:00 pm.

So I have to get there quickly.

I bit my lip as I walked quickly down the crowded school halls, zipping and dodging around the place, past chatting students.

After lunch, my friends and I had to split up to go back to class but ever since then I just felt bad.

I left everyone so gloomy...

It was the only time that we got to hang out and I ruined it. I pouted as I walked, quickly growing closer and closer to the school's entrance to the parking lot.

I just couldn't help it...

Once I heard about the contest and compared it to my situation, I just couldn't help but feel sad.

There is no possible way for me to even attend.

Father hates the band and is also mad at me so of course he won't lend me fifty dollars to purchase a Heat wave bundle of merchandise.

It hurts me deeply that I am denied getting what I want. But, I have no choice.

Unless..

My eyes shot wide open once a dark little idea popped into my head, my feet still navigating me forward. And soon, I exited my high school along with other students who were car riders, people that were getting picked up by family. And then there were people like me, who could drive on their own.

Who had their license..

Many people rushed through the school's exit, pushing the doors open to enter a place where it felt like we were finally free for the day. The sun shot onto my flesh in a way that felt amazing. My shoes touched the pavement as I walked forward into the outside world, a bunch of cars spotted lined up in front of the school, many kids running up to their assigned cars to jump inside. But I kept walking along, stepping off of the paved road where there were a few students standing and waiting for their rides home, my own feet taking me through the line of cars and towards the parking lot. Of course, I looked both ways before crossing the street, just taking notice of my surroundings before making it up to my own personal car.

My Honda Fit.

The vehicle was parked slightly in the front of the parking lot, directly in the middle of the large school behind me.

The number I was assigned to, was thankfully a one digit one for parking.

Number 7.

It was a number that was easy to get to. It wasn't too far from the entrance of the school. It was right here.

Easy for me!

I smiled upon that but quickly hopped in, throwing my bookbag and lunch box onto the backseat.

With my keys, stashed inside of my back pocket, I reached back and grabbed them.

Once in my grasp, I dropped both, my phone and my keys into my lap to only lean over to close my car door. And with that, I quickly started up my car, jamming my keys into the ignition and backing out of the parking lot to soon drive out of it.

***

The journey from my school to Hanabi's was done in silence, my mind once again growing clouded with thoughts.

Earlier, I had an idea in mind as to how I could get what I want. I could make myself happy for once. But, it was a dark idea, an evil one that wasn't like me at all.

I bit my lip and tightened my hands onto the steering wheel, my lavender eyes focused on the road before me.

I could... steal, from father.

I know it was pretty extreme and honestly wrong of me but, I just couldn't let this contest pass me by.

I have a feeling!

I could just be that lucky someone!

And if I am, my life will change for the better. I would finally get to be happy. I would finally be able to see new things, to explore wonderful sights, ones that weren't just inside my Father's home.

No..

I would be surrounded by people that I adore, people that would make me happy. A gleeful smile broke across my lips, my car steady zooming down the road.

I have to do this.

So with that, my mind was made up.

I will steal money from Father and purchase my own Heat Wave Bundle!

Only then, I will enter the contest and become eligible to win a four week trip to tag along with the Heat Wave Band. My smile widened, my body growing giddy.

And that sounds fine, by me..
