Commissioner had granted Manik leaves as long as his wound became perfectly fine...! So Manik used to be at home the whole day..! It was probably fifteenth day for his injury and he was almost ok..! His wound had healed perfectly as Nandini took care of him so much..! He was thinking to join back in a day or so..! Now Nandini wanted to go outside..! So Manik got up to fulfill her wish..! He had asked nurse alya for some girls clothes..! Nandini was in warm wool red frock which ended up till her toes..! With a matching dupatta..! Hair were tied in a messy bun..!
"Yeeyyeee..! Chalo..!"She exclaimed and dragged him out..! For the first time she was stepping out of the house..! She run out and Manik smilingly followed her..!

"Nothing..! Was thinking to join from tomorrow only..!"Manik said softly looking her and she became a little sad..!
"I will miss you..!"She said sadly and he smiled..! He cupped her cheeks and kissed her forehead..!
"I will be always with you..! I will try to come home early..!"Manik assured her but this made no difference..! Don't know what came in her mind and she pulled his collars as if asking him to bend down..! He did as he was asked and she placed her lips on his..! She kissed him softly and he was taken aback..! FIRST KISS..! It took him a minute or so to respond equally..! They broke apart gasping for air..! Manik rested his forehead over hers..!
"It is not my first kiss..!"Nandini whispered and Manik's eyes shot open..! She clearly sensed his confusion..!
"I was married you know na?"Nandini said in a sad tone..
"I know..! Aur mjy is baat say koi farak nahi parta..!"Manik tried to close the topic..!
"Par mjhy parta hai..! Manik I was touched by someone else..!"She said looking in his eyes..
"Were you willing for that?"Manik's sudden question was embarrassing for her..! She look down..! Manik lifted her chin and made her look at him..! "Did you love harshad?"Manik again asked..! Nandini slowly placed her head on his chest and traced the design of the button of his shirt..!
"It was just a commitment..! Maa nay bola larka acha hai main maan gai..! Maa nay bola larka shadi kar kay tjy bohat khush rkhy ga main maan gai..! Par shadi ki raat ko he came and he was drunk..! He was so harsh Manik..!"Nandini narrated another worst phase of her life with silent tears and Manik closed his eyes to compose himself..!

"Bohat ziada..!"She whispered again and Manik smiled.! He bent down and kissed her lips..! KISS OF LOVE..! Manik pulled off her dupatta and threw it somewhere in the corner of room..! Nandini didn't stopped him..! That time she submitted herself finally to a 'right' person..!

"Haan..!"She said looking at him..! Manik smiled and picked up his cell phone from the bedside table..! He showed her the picture..! She was amazed...!
"I captured this picture on your wedding day..! I fell in love with you at very first sight..! I know this line is so cheesy..! But still it is the truth..!"Manik said sheepishly and she went all awe on his cuteness..!
"I love you so much Manik..!"She said hugging him tightly..
"I love you too jaan..!"Manik said kissing her hair and she closed her eyes finally for a peaceful sleep..! Manik was so gentle in his touch..! He was so sweet..! He had kissed her as if she was a glass doll and a little pressure would break her..! He was HER Man..!

Nandini woke up rubbing her eyes sleepily but didn't find Manik..! She immediately look everywhere and spotted him standing in the window..! His favorite place to be stand..! She wrapped the quilt around herself and walked towards him..! She back hugged him and he smiled..!
"Good Morning..!"He spoke softly..
"Good Morning..! And thank you for the last night..!"She whispered against his back..!
"Come here..!"Manik said pulling her in a side hug..! He kissed her hair ever so gently and she wrapped her arms around his waist..! They kept standing there for so long..! Looking far away nowhere through the window..!
"Nandini..!"Finally Manik broke the peaceful silence..!
"Hmm?"She hummed and look at him..
"Shadi karo ge mjh say?"He asked looking in her eyes and she was so much happy and blessed..! She nodded and hugged him tightly..

"Manik..!"Nandini came in the lounge worriedly while Manik was busy in his laptop..
"Hmm..!"He hummed without looking at her..
"Main thekk lag rahi hoon na?"She asked worriedly and adjusted her dupatta nervously..! Manik look at her and smiled..! She was not looking less than an angel..!
"You are looking beautiful honey..!"Manik said lovingly shutting his laptop..
"Agr main tmhry colleagues ko achi na lagi tou?"She was so much nervous..! Actually it was the first week of their marriage so Manik had invited his colleagues and commissioner Sir for a dinner..! Now Nandini was very nervous what if they didn't liked her?
"Aray meri Nandini itne achi hai I am sure everyone will like you..!"Manik said cupping her cheeks..!
"Acha agr me tmhry Sir ko achi na lagi tou is say tmhri job py tou koi farak nahi pary ga na?"She asked a stupid question and Manik decided to tease her..
"Haan..! Agr tm unhn achi na lagi tou he will fire me out..!"Manik said sadly and Nandini's eyes widened with shock..! She was so much horrified that Manik immediately gave up teasing and hugged her..!

"Man'na pary ga Manik..! Tmhri biwi bohat pyari hai..!"Commissioner praised and Nandini blushed to the deepest shade of red..! While Manik smiled..!

"Bhabi..! The food was very yummy..!"Cabir exclaimed sipping his coffee as they all sat in lounge after a informal dinner..!

"I am patting myself for the day I allowed Manik to get you to his home..!"Commissioner said smirking at Manik and he lowered his head..
"Sir..! Please..!"Manik tried to stop him..
"Aray batany do na mjhy..! You know Nandu..! He was pleading for you..! How sweet of him na?"Commissioner was not at all sparing Manik and Nandini laughed her heart out..! They all were so good..! So friendly Nandini liked all of them..!

"Good evening...!"Nandini exclaimed as soon as she opened the door for Manik..!
"Good evening my sugar pot..!"Manik too replied with the same zest taking her in a light hug..! "Aj tou koi bohat happy hai..!"Manik said playfully and she smiled..!
"Yes..! Because I have a surprise for you..! Tum jaldi say fresh ho jao and have the dinner then I will tell you the surprise..!"Nandini said excitedly and Manik smiled..
"Ohkkyyy..! Tou I will be back..!"He said patting her cheek and walked inside the room to get fresh...! They ate the dinner and Manik noticed Nandini's extraordinary happiness..! He was happy to see her happy..!
"Acha now you sit here..!"Nandini said excitedly and made Manik sit on the bed..!
"Aisa bhi kya hai jo you are so excited?"Manik asked curiously and Nandini sat beside him very close..!
"Uffo Manik..! You ask so many questions..! Now close your eyes...!"Nandini was so much happy..! Manik instantly closed his eyes and Nandini held his hand..! The she placed his hand on her stomach and he realized within seconds what she wanted to tell him...!
"Can you feel him?"She whispered in his ear lovingly and he didn't opened his eyes..! But a tear from the corner of his each eye escaped and he smiled..! "Don't cry na Manik..!"Nandini said sadly wiping his tears and he opened his eyes..!
"Nan-nandini..! Me-mera na-nahi..! Hum-humara bacha?"Manik stammered a lot in few words...! He was running short of words..!
"Haan..! Humara bacha..! Symbol of our love Manik..!"Nandini said cupping his cheeks and he pulled her in a bone crushing hug..!

Manik pressed the doorbell and waited..!
"Daddy aa gye..!"He heard the melodious voice of his little bundle of joy and smiled..! Though he had the spare key..! But he wanted Mehaan to open the door for him..! As whenever Mehaan opened the door for him the excitement of his face was priceless..!
"Mehaan..! Be careful beta..!"And Nandini's shout total mother concern...! Manik was sure he must be standing on his tiptoes to open the door for his daddy..! Manik saw the knob moving he was struggling with it..! Manik had asked Nandini not to help Mehaan in opening the door as it will arose the struggling emotions in him..! After a little struggled Mehaan opened the door..
"Daddy..!"He shouted as loud as he could and jumped on his place extending his arms towards Manik gesturing him to pick him up..! It was his way to express his love towards his daddy..!
"How was my Mehaan's day?"Manik asked ruffling his hair and kissed his red nose...!
"It was good..!"Mehaan told him looking at his police uniform's cap which Manik was still wearing..! It was a source of utmost attraction for him..! Now as he had requested Commissioner to allow him to take him his uniform home..! As his son was so much fond of his daddy's uniform..!
"Dadaaa..! Tap(cap)..!"Meehan immediately asked for his cap and Manik made him wear the cap..!
"You look so handsome in this cap champ..!"Manik himself was praising his son..!
"Ahkir beta bhi tou tmhra hai na..! Handsome tou ho ga na..!"Nandini came from behind and hugged both..!
"Manik tum fresh ho jaoa na..! Then we will eat the dinner..!"Nandini wanted him to go inside the room so that she immediately prepared for his birthday celebration..!
"I am not hungry abhi..!"Manik said politely and Nandini gestured Mehaan to make some bahana.
"Daddy..! Ap flesh(fresh) ho jaoa na..!"Mehaan requested...! Manik instantly guessed something fishy..!
"What is the stuff you both are hiding?"Manik asked raising his eyebrow..! Before Nandini could handle the situation Mehaan spoke..!
"Hiding? Daddy main aul mummma ap ki seclet(secret) bilthday(birthday) palty(party) ki tyali(tyari) tou ni kal lay(ray)..!"Mehaan immediately tried to clear the situation and Nandini sighed...! Manik look at Nandini and both burst out in laughter on the cuteness of their love..! Then Manik cut the cake..! They ate..! They talked..! Actually Mehaan talked and they listened to him..! And finally they slept..! Mehaan was completely lying on Manik and Nandini's head on Manik's arm..!
AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER..!
