FOUR. Rules
Seth
The mimi van pulled up outside of a campsite residence mostly surrounded by overly large floating oak woodland trees and landscapes of the many activities I would be taking part in throughout my summer of attending Camp Whistleblower.
My attention was mostly on a ruined down inky black gated mansion seen from afar on top of the hill. Gus tapped me on the shoulder getting me out of my sudden trace. "Hey Seth" he paused glancing his eyes up at the mysterious dark mansion.
"Do you think Wednesday Adams up there?" He asked through a chuckle as I laughed out loud in response. "Maybe we could give her ring if she does yeah?" The two teenagers girls who Gus flirted with earlier causally approached us with their luggage in hand "I would bet my money that the whole family lives up here too"
One of the young female's voiced in a seductive tone and turned to the other female stood beside her who seem timid and quite. "What do you think do, Dawn?" Dawn tusked a piece of her long cooper red hair behind her ear. "Well" she shrugged. "I guess so and besides why would you want know who lives there anyways?"
"Because my dear twin sister " the blonde beige haired girl scoffed with a sarcastic eye roll. "Out of the two of us I'm the more open-minded and optimistic twin" Dawn stood tall and glared at her twin sister. "For your information Phoebe I can be open-minded and optimistic as you are!"
Phoebe mocked her sister cackling in her face. "Prove it!" Dawn's steel blue eyes changed into the colour of slivery silk. As her nostrils flared up and her fists clenched within her ivory palms turning them ghostly white. The luminous glowing sun had vanished allowing dark clouds to up above and across the hill.
Dawn's feet slowly flew above the air as a flurry drop of rain dropped upon my forehead. "Hey!" Charity's voice yelled over matching in our direction. Dawn lose her focus fall mid air safety into my arms after I ran over to catch her bridal style. "Thanks for catching me"'she smiled through a heavy sigh of relief wiping the sweat of her glistening forehead.
The sky has returned back to shining it's luminous sun as the white clouds float above the glinting crystal blue sky.
"Your welcome" I nodded kindly helping Dawn back onto her steady feet again as her eye colour changed back to normal. But this time she was firmly on the ground as she quickly pulled down her baby blue summer dress looking quite flushed. So nobody could see her undergarments.
"You are not allowed to use your powers outside of camp" Charity folded her arms scolding us like a teacher giving her students a good telling off.
"Especially when activities aren't in session" she warned in a cautious tone of voice. Phoebe raised a brow as her face was plastered in pure confusion. "And where does it say that?" Dawn annoyingly scoffed at her sister and punched her arm.
"Did you read the leaflet like mom and dad told you to?" Phoebe couldn't hide her guilty shaking her head.
"No I didn't" she confessed scanning below at her toffee brown boots. "Did you two read the leaflet?" Charity questioned Gus and I suspiciously raised her eyebrow. Gus ran his though his golden locks and facepalmed mortified. "I read some of it" Charity prompted staring at me with an upper lip. "Seth?"
I took a deep exhale of breath before I spoke up again. "I read the leaflet the same today my parents told me about Camp Whistleblower this last year" Charity disproved sucking her teeth.
And maybe saying that wasn't the best idea Seth.
"I'm going to let you guys off this time" Charity warned sternly lifting her finger up in the air. "But next time you guys won't be lucky, now gather your things so we get you settled into your cabins and then we can give you a tour of the whole camp"
We trekked along the cobblestones as Charity led the way to our residential cabins which would be our home for the next three months among the float of kids who was wandering behind Richard.
Gus lightly nudged on the arm chucking. "This is going be a long summer" I lower my voice to whisper. "Tell me about it"
