Aashi's P.O.V.

"I ain't taking it", I said passing him the bag but he's the most stubborn person, I've ever met.

"And I ain't taking it back either. Kabir never take back gifts", was his reply.

Nia and Jay were looking at us standing quitely and preferred to stay out of our matter much to my disliking. For a change they're taking civil whilst I was having an argument with Kabir.

"This is not a gift. You're doing pity on me", I said still holding that bag.

"It's not pity, it's a gift spooky. Fine, it's a birthday gift for you from my side", he said.

"My birthday is not until next four months", I said.

"So what? Keep it as an advance gift from me. Why are you making it such a big fuss out of it? I buy dresses for Noor and Ami also", he said with a sigh.

"Because they're your friends and we're NOT Friends", I replied.

"Spooky please. I can't handle any more argument. Either take it or throw it, I don't care", he said and left the shop immediately​. I glanced at Nia and Jay who were staring at us only. Seeing my stare, they faked checking out shoes for Noor.

Such a bad Actors they're!!

"Let's go guys. I don't want to do more shopping", I said walking out with a heavy heart. What am I going to do with this dress?

Kabir's P.O.V.

"Yeah, I'm leaving. I'll be there in thirty", I said whilst walking out of my home with my mobile on my ear.

"I've sent Aashi to bring Noor", Dhurv said.

"I still don't understand why did you invite them? You know right that Jay would be angry with your decision when he'll be educated that Nia is also coming to this surprise party", I said.

"We can handle him later on. We can't forget that they helped us in the preparations​. C'mon Kabir, where are you manners?", He asked.

"Ok, fine. Meet you over there. Bie", I said and hung up. Sitting in my car, I placed the dress, I bought for Noor on my passenger seat and turned the engine on. Buckling up my seat belt, I started the car and drove to the mall.

I jumped out of my car as soon as I parked my car in the parking area and holding​ Noor's gift in my hand, I walked towards the mall. My mobile rang in mean time. It was from Tanya.

God knows how long I've to bear this forced girlfriend. She ain't taking my hints that I need a breakup. I disconnected the call and walked inside the mall to the disc where Noor's birthday party was all planned. Only limited people were invited to this party because it's our function and only special people got to attend our parties. Miss. Spooky and her friend getting the perks of Noor's closed ones got the chance to attend this party.

I spotted Dhruv standing at some distance with his mobile in his hand. He had this genuine smile on his face. I wonder whom is he talking to. I walked towards him.

"I know she can be doubtful sometimes but I'm so happy that you could make it", he said whilst his back was towards me. I tapped on his shoulder and he turned and gave me a smile.

I waited for his phone call to cut silently. He again said, "Did you try my gift?". I raised my eyebrows at him. Really now!!

"No need to feel guilty. We're friends right. I had worn the cap you gifted me. So, I want you to also wear that", he said and I was getting more curious now. I glanced at the white cap with black dots he had worn today which was totally matching with his dress. He's obsessed with caps.

"Ok. I'll meet you soon. Bye", he said and hung up. Finally!!

"Seems Ami and you're going along very well", I said trying to mask my jealousy with a smile.

"What? No, it's not Ami. It's someone else", he said and fished his mobile back into his jeans.

"Who?", I asked with a frown.

"Aashi", he said and I was surprised.

"You mean Miss. Spooky!! I didn't know that you guys are friends", I said.

"We're and she's a nice girl. I don't mind being her friend. And I just said yes to Ami because you asked me to do so. Why don't you tell her about your feelings?", Dhruv said and a sense of uneasiness regained me.

"Because She likes you and I don't want her heart to broke. We're good as friends only", I said.

"Still Kabir. You should-", he said but I cut​ him in between.

"Drop it now Dhruv. I ain't wanna discuss it", I said and walked to check for the preparation. He just sighed and followed me. Jay and Parth too joined us soon with the birthday cake.

"How's everything going on?", Jay asked.

"Fine", dhruv replied.

"Who is bringing Noor's gifts?", Jay asked.

"Ami", Dhruv lied. We all know that Nia took away all gifts with her to bring it to this party except Jay because of known reasons. He and Nia can never ever go along.

Let's hope that we don't get a fight Tonight!!

Aashi's P.O.V.

"I still don't understand why everyone is so busy", Noor said whilst sitting in the back seat of the car folding her arms. She wasn't happy because all her friends are busy and are not throwing a party for her as it's her birthday today.

Poor she!! She's all sad today on her special day and I can't tell her the truth also. I and Nia are here to escort Noor. We said that we'll party with her today and surprisingly she agreed too.

"Don't worry Noor. We girls​ will have a blast today", Nia said looking at Noor from the side mirror.

"I hope so too. Let's go", Noor said smiling at us and we smiled back. Nia started the car and it ran on the road smoothly.

Past twenty four hours were most tiring hours for me. First, I had to persuade Nia to company me in this birthday party and she denies instantly. She can't stand Jay was her lines but still somehow I with help of Parth was able to coax her and she agreed finally.

Second, I wasn't sure about what to do with the 'GIFT ', Kabir gave to me. No dobut, I love that dress but it's out of my budget and taking such an expensive gift from someone isn't Aashi's way. So, I've gifted it to Noor as her birthday present. I've brought a perfume for Noor from my savings and she liked that. She's wearing the same dress with same perfume. And trust me she's looking stunning.

Nia on other hand had worn a orange shade knee length dress with half sleeves. Her hair was naturally curled and she had applied a minimal makeup with a light pink lipstick shade. I'm sure she's gonna grab way too much attention tonight.

If talking about me then you can forget it. I and beautiful don't go along. I had worn a rugged jeans and a crop top. I had made a middle partition of my hair and had completed my look with face powder and light shade lipstick. I don't wear eye makeup because I wear spectacles on my eyes. Overall, I was looking good because my mom compliments me for my looks today which every mom always does. Anyways.

We soon reached the destination and came out of the car. Nia had placed Noor's gifts in the trunk of the car which are also a surprise for her.

"Wow. This is actually a good place. Aashu. Are you sure we're going in this? It's pretty expensive", Noor said.

"Don't worry Noor. We can manage", Nia said putting on her shades.

"Yes. You don't need to worry about anything. This day will be memorable for you", I said and she passed me a smile. I wish things could've been good between us.

"Let's see​", she said and walked ahead.

"You sister doesn't know how to say thanks. She has got some major ego issues, trust me. I'll ask Parth to stop courting him with her anymore", Nia said as soon as Noor was at some distance from us.

"She ain't that bad. Just a bit spoilt", I said and Nia shrugged her shoulder. We both increased our pace to match with Noor's speed.

"I can't wait to eat cake", Nia whispered​ quickly in my ear and I just shook my head.

Kabir's P.O.V.

"I can't wait to eat cake", Jay said rubbing his hands and I shook my head.

"For that it needs to be cut first", I replied.

"And for that Noor had to be present here", Parth said.

"Guys, they're here. Fast hide yourself", Dhruv said looking at his mobile. I peeped and saw it was a message from Miss. Spooky.

Isn't she being way too friendly to Dhurv?

We just waited for Noor to come inside and surprise her. We all gathered at a spot with our eyes glued to the door. Dhruv had booked this whole disc for tonight for ourselves. Ami was still in her way. She took really long time to bring the cake. I wish she came soon. Just seeing her relaxes my heart.

The door was opened and I saw Noor coming inside. She gaped looking at the arrangements​.

"Surprise", we all yelled and she placed her mouth with her hands.

She walked towards us happily with a bright smile on her face and then I noticed her. She was looking really beautiful but what caught my attention the most was the dress she was wearing. It was the same dress which I gifted to Miss. Spooky because she loves it.

Did she reject my gift? Did she gave my gift to someone else?

"Happy birthday Noor", Jay said and hugged her.

"Thank you", she said hugging her back.

"Happy birthday Noor", Parth said and shake hand with her. She thanked him too.

One by one everyone wished her and the constant smile on her face was a proof that she liked our surprise. After taking greetings from everyone she walked towards me. I still can't believe Spooky would reject my gift like this.

"Hey", she said.

"Happy birthday. Hope you like our surprise", I said and hugged her.

"I love it. Thank you so much", she said whilst pulling away.

"Aashi and Nia also helped us", Dhurv said and stood by my side.

"Oh so it was all planned. I also thought how could Aashi afford such a fancy place for my birthday party", Noor said with a chukle and I just smiled. I need to talk to that spooky. How could she just do this to me?

I saw the door of the disc opening and Ami came inside along with Nia and Spooky. I studied her attire. She had worn a crop top and a normal jeans. She didn't accepted my gift.

But she had accepted Dhruv's gift easily, my heart whisper!!

I know right!!

I ignored her and diverted my attention to Ami. She came in our direction with a smile on her face. She was looking beautiful and breath taking. I sighed mentally looking at my crush. I know I'm Friendzoned by her but still I wish some day she might think of me more than a friend. A boy can dream though.

"What is she doing here?", Jay asked all of a sudden breaking my trance. I looked at him staring at Nia who was looking equally gorgeous today just like Ami and Noor. Well, beautiful and Spooky doesn't go along so we can forget about her.

"I've invited her to the party", Dhruv said whilst looking at Jay who didn't break his stare from Nia's face.

"Ok. Cool", he replied.

"Did you've no problem with her being here?", I asked but he didn't even look at us for once.

"No. I don't have any problem. Let me just help her", he said and walked towards Nia.

"Excuse me?", I said surprised and Dhurv mirrored my expressions.

"What the hell just happened?", Dhruv asked.

"How do I know?", I said and we saw Jay walking towards Nia and he said something to her and took some of her boxes in his hand and started walking with her and Miss. Spooky to place the gifts on one table.

Seems someone's got a crush!! Interesting!!
