☆ This rp, is quite different. It is not about teenage or 20 something princes, naive, first hand at love and teenage or 20 something girls, pretty, innocent shy  ladies and their sappy love story.

☆ The theme of this rp and the age is quite different for a reason. You could say this is kind of a mature rp, mature in the sense that you should fully sink into your character and rp in that way.

☆ The kings are nearing their fifties and obviously, it's repulsive for them to search for 20 something suitors. So obviously, the selected have to be near their age, ie, 35+.

☆ If they have to satisfy that age criteria, obviously they are either unmarried or widows, and there is no restriction or rule which says widows can't enter. Its totally your choice.

☆ The Kings are 40+ and have ruled the kingdoms as Kings for over a decade. This means they are not inexperienced, innocent boys who have not had a taste of the real world. They are men and they have had their own bitter experiences with the real world and how everything is not just rosy, dreamy and romantic. Let that sink in.

☆ The ladies, are also 35+ who would have obviously come across various men in their lives, happy times and depressing times and have over come that. They are strong independent women who know what they are getting themselves into. Do not make them into giggly, screeching school girls.

☆ This roleplay's focus is not, surprisingly, on the men but the women. This is not a full on full romantic rp.

☆ There will be dark parts to this roleplay. Not immediately but brace yourself for anything.

☆ This rp is set in medivial times where kings have bed warmers and polygamy truly is a thing.

☆ Normal selection rps have been mostly about love at first sight and beauty but this is different. I am not saying that men who are 40+ or women who are 35+ are not beautiful. But don't give their face claims as tall, porcelain skin, innocent doe eyes, plain figure/ young figure etc. It's not realistic.

☆ The selection will not take place based on beauty/ your OCs cuteness/ how naive they are etc. The consorts become Queens of three kingdoms and they are expected to have equal role in ruling the kingdom. They won't be like normal queens whose duty lies only with the husband and their job only being sitting next to the king and looking pretty. Awaken your feminist side ladies.

☆ This roleplay was named Hearts and Minds for a reason. It's not about what the eye can see, not the appearance but it goes deep down, a love that grows from within, a connection between the hearts and minds of two people and not just the physic.

☆ I have seen a lot of selection roleplays whih are supernatural themed and the characters have powers. And I have also seen that throughout the roleplay, most of the times, there is no chance for people to showcase or use their talents or powers anywhere. So this is a normal human roleplay with no powers. Your most valuable powers are your words and emotions.

☆Auditions will be held by me for the post of the two kings, the other one will be played by me.
