Caleb~

My knife fell from my shaking hands as I took a step back. Blood covered my hands and sweat dripped from my forehead.

Agustin's demonic form fell lifelessly to the ground.

Dead.

"C-Caleb..." Delilah lifted her gaze to me.

"You saved us." For once I saw her smile. A smile that was forgotten but I found it.

She ran towards me and embraced me tight. Something that I never expected.

"Oh Caleb you saved me!" She started to cry. "You saved me..."

Derek stood up and gave me a small smile.

"Thank you."

I hugged Delilah tight as she started to cry without control.

Her fears and suffering was finally gone.

"Caleb..." Delilah cupped my face with her hands. I stared into her green eyes and smiled at her beautiful smile.

''I love you." I whispered. I leaned in close to her til our foreheads touched. "Delilah I love you."

I couldn't deny myself much longer. I loved her no matter what.

True I had plans to kill her and become rich but now I found something else more valuable.

I found love.

"Kiss me." She whispered. She closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around my neck.

I didn't need her to tell me twice.

I cupped her face with my hands and kissed her lips like there was no other day left. She meant everything to me.

Something I never knew it existed.

Derek~

I watched my mother run to the arms of the man who saved us. Love twinkled in their eyes as they kissed.

I was happy for them.

"Derek!"

Veronica ran out from the back doors of the apartment and ran towards me.

"Veronica!"

She jumped In my arms and embraced me tight.

Next thing I knew it I felt other arms wrap around me.

My mother, the man, Veronica, and I.

At last we were safe.

And I found my family.

"Can you ever forgive me?" My mother sat across from me in the table.

"You're my mother of course I do." I stretched out my hands and reached out for her's.

"Thank you Derek." She sobbed. "Samuel raised you well. Better than I could ever done." Her face held guilt.

"I wish..." She closed her eyes and rose her head high as tears trailed down to her neck.

"I wish I could go back." Her voice cracked. "I regret everything."

"There is a way." Caleb's voice startled us. He stood at the entrance of the doorway with his arms crossed.

"What?" I asked.

Caleb walked to the table and layed his hands on my mother's shoulders.

"The memory box."

The memory box...

I quickly searched through my pockets to pull out the small memory box which onced belonged to Max Blakes.

My mother's eyes went round as she stared at the box.

"Delilah as much that I don't want you to go back...you need to." Caleb kissed her shoulders gently.

"The past needs you and so does the innocents." I agreed with Caleb. I knew how bad the past was.

I placed the small box in the center of the table.

Veronica entered the room and got behind me.

"I agree." Veronica spoked.

"But...I can't." My mother held fear in her eyes. "I can't or the future will be ruined."

"Delilah listen." Caleb helped my mother stand. He twirled her around til they were face to face.

"Listen my love you got to go back and find your happiness.'' He cupped her face with his hands.

"Save your love." A tear slipped from his eyes.

"But...no Caleb no don't tell me to go." She cried.

"Don't worry you'll always be in me. Please do it for me."

Veronica wrapped her arms behind me as we watched Caleb convincing my mother.

"I love you." She whispered.

"I know you do." He kissed her hands. "Don't ever forget me. And love Sebastian forever."

"Oh Caleb..." Tears poured out from her eyes.

"I love you." He whispered and kissed her lips.

"Okay..." She closed her eyes and grabbed the small box In her hands.

I stood up and held Veronica in my arms.

Caleb got beside us and wrapped a arm around me.

My mother's eyes swelled up and quickly ran to hug me.

"Take care my child. Thank you. Thank you for forgiving me. I love you." She kissed my forehead and gripped my hands tight.

"Don't worry I'll save you." She promised.

She still held my hand and gave a quick hug to Veronica.

"Thank you sweetie. Take care of my child and I'll make sure you'll find him one day.''

She grabbed her hand and held it with mine. Her eyes went to Caleb and she have him a smile.

"Thank you Caleb. Thank you for not killing me."

"Why would I do that?" Caleb chuckled and grabbed her by the waist.

She let go of our hands and wrapped them around Caleb's neck.

''My love... Take care." Her voice cracked. Caleb tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"Don't worry about us I'm sure we'll meet someday. Danger will save you from your spell and his. You're meant to love him and love will save both of you. I love you Delilah." He handed my mother a small book.

He kissed her lips one last time. Their lips moved in perfect sync before they parted.

"I love you Delilah." He started to cry.

My mother took a step back from us and held the memory box in her hands. Her eyes well saddeness.

"I love you. I love you all." She whispered.

As much as I didn't want her to go away nor finish this moment, I had to let her go. I loved my mother so much that I was willing to give my present and future to her. Even after all she's done and all I went through.

Love was going to save the past.

She blew us a kiss and closed her eyes.

She'll save us. I know she will.

"Goodbye mother." I whispered.

She opened the box.

"Goodbye." She whispered.
