Epilogue
Forgotten Soul~
"Danger...."
"We're losing her!"
"Danger..."
"Bring me more help!"
"Danger...."
"Now!"
"Sebastian...."
I felt my body weak and numb. I tried opening my eyes but I was too tired. I felt sweaty and I could smell the metallic smell of blood.
"I think she's starting to hallucinate! Hand me a wet towel!"
"Sebastian...."
I felt my heart heavy with pressure.
A felt a electric shock on my chest but I was too numb to feel anything. I heard a cry like a baby's but then it all went silent as my body went back to sleep.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
I opened my eyes slightly.
Where am I?
I sat up startled and found myself in a completely white room. A had wires on my body and an oxygen mask.
My eyes were fuzzy at first but then I got my clear vision back. This place was awfully odd.
A nurse entered the room with a try of medications. Her eyes landed on me and she gasp, dropping the tray to the white floor.
"The one has awoken!" She yelled behind her. She rushed to my side as many men in white suits rushed to my room.
"Status." One spoked.
I remained quiet watching with round eyes at the men in front of me.
"Her breathing is normal. Temperature okay. She seems to see us just fine." The nurse informed and started to write down things In her clipboard.
''Check her heart." The man ordered the nurse.
The nurse placed a hand on my chest. She shook her head no and continued writing more stuff down.
"Then it's true." Another man in the white suit spoked.
"Indeed but we still need to check her reactions." The man who spoke earlier assured the other mens.
All the mens nodded and the one who spoked earlier first got to my side.
"Answer with your head." He ordered me. "If you understand."
I remained dumbfounded and nodded slightly.
I had no clue where I was or what was happening.
"Are you Delilah Eva Easton of Castellan?" He questioned.
I nodded yes.
"Good. Do you remember what happened?"
I shook my head no.
"Hmm... Roberta are you writing this down?" He faced the nurse.
"Yes Dr. Smith. So far this is all good and normal." The nurse informed.
"Good. Keep an eye on her. This is great news for the history of the world." The doctor smiled and walked off with the other men.
"There you go sweetie." The nurse took off my oxygen mask. "Can you breath fine?" She asked.
I nodded.
"Good. I'm only going to take your pressure." She wrapped around my arm a cuff and stood back and watched me.
I felt my throat dry and my body tired.
I wonder how long I've been here?
"Where is Sebastian? Samuel? Lily?" My voice cracked and I started to panic. My voice felt like I haven't spoken for a very long time.
"Shh.." The nurse gave me a warm smile. "You need to calm down for you just awoken from a 'very long' coma."
Coma?
"I'll bring Doctor Smith back in so he can tell you." The nurse left the room.
I slunk down on my bed and stared at the Doctor who came in.
"Greetings Delilah. Glad that you've awoken and can speak." He gave me a warm smile.
"Where....am I?" My voice croaked.
"Relax Delilah. You are in a very special hospital."
Hospital?!
"It was a miracle that you are still living." He rose an eyebrow.
"What happened to me?!" I started to raise my voice. Panic ran through my veins.
"Delilah I need you to be calm. You just awoken and you need to relax." The doctor got to my side and held one of my hands.
"Breath and I'll tell you."
He grabbed a chair and sat still holding my hand.
"You've been mentioning a name lately. Sebastian is his name. I'm sorry to inform you but he died 'long time' ago." He emphasize on long time.
Long time....
"How long I've been here?!" I demanded and squeezed his hand tight, fear for the answer.
"That's what I need to tell you." His voice got low.
"Everyone that you loved or knew has died. Lets say...the people you see today is a new generation."
"What?!" I started to breath fast.
"Delilah you've been in coma for over more than twenty generations. You're more than five hundred years old." His eyes were round in awe and stared at me. His brown eyes never leaving mine.
"You have the body of a twenty-four year old." He whispered. "You've been asleep for many years. Everything has changed."
His eyes became dark and smirk slightly curved his lips.
"You are a very special vampire." He traced two fingers on my neck. I could feel two tiny holes on my neck.
Agustin.....
I remembered everything all of a sudden....
Agustin...
My wedding....
Sebastian's death....
The roses....
"But don't worry Ms. Easton... You are safe in here. Your powers are safe..." He stood up and smirked.
''Welcome to the supernatural hospital institution. Make yourself home..." He kissed the back of my hand and left my room.
"Oh and bye the way..." He stopped at the entrance.
"The cause of you coma wasn't the death of your beloved but instead the birth you gave.'' He winked and left my room, slamming my door.
Birth?!
I jumped out of the bed and ripped the wires on me. I ran to a small window in my room and stared out. My legs were weak but I didn't let that bother me. I stared outside to a different world.
A mass city layed before my eyes.
"Ms. Easton! What are you doing out of bed?!" The nurse gasped as she entered my room and dropping a tray of food.
"Home." I gritted my teeth and faced her with a glare.
"You are home." She tried giving one of those hypocrite smiles. She held out her hand.
"Tell me everything and I may consider to stay." I growled.
"But..."
"No?" I fisted my hands and rose an eyebrow.
"Okay okay it started many years back. You banged your head when you fainted in your wedding. A few month later you awoke to give birth. After the birth you fell in coma again. Your brother Samuel took care of the child. All I can tell you about your child is that it was a boy and... a very powerful one. He was some kind of werewolf. Since then no one has seen them. You're here for you contain all the mysteries and the power of life. Delilah you've been practically dead!" There was fear in her voice.
Werewolf child... I had a child and worse of all it wasn't from the one I loved.
Rex....
"Thank you but I must go." I smirked.
"What?! But..."
Before she could say anything else I broke the window and jumped out.
''Delilah! Dr. Smith! Delilah has escaped!" The nurse screamed for backup.
I jumped out and fell. I landed like a cat on a cement path and started to run.
I had no clue how I survived that fall and neither where I was going, but I knew I was looking for my answers.
My child...
My family....
My love....
I'll find them and when I do this will be just a dream.
Just a dream....
The end....for now....
