Forgotten Soul ~

I awoke the next morning by the smell of something burnt. I got up startled and checked my surroundings. I was still in Rex's apartment and on his couch. Figures...

"Morning beauty." Rex greeted me. He carried a tray and placed it on my legs. A glass of orange juice and a stack of pancakes. Burnt to be exact.

"My bad... It's obvious I don't know how to cook." He smiled warmly at me. Did I mention before that if Rex wasn't the bad guy I would have considered him attractive or yet hot?

"Er..thanks." I stared at the tray. Okay one thing is that the man who served me food is hot but it didn't mean I trust him for all I know he can be feeding me poison or drugs.

"Dahlia... We need to talk." He sat beside me keeping his distance between me.
What now...? I rolled my eyes.

"I need you." He stared into my eyes. I was about to take a bite of my breakfast til I thought I almost chocked. "Is this a joke?"

Rex lowered his gaze. His blue eyes turning dark. "There is stuff you will never understand...'' His voice was low. What in the world is he talking about?

"Dahlia... We can do this the easy way or the hard way. I'm not what you think I am.'' He stood up and faced me. I seriously had no clue of what he was talking about...

"I want you to be my mate."
Hubba what???? I dropped my jaw low. "Okay that's it!"
I stood up and ran towards the door. I had to get out of here!!! I keep forgetting that the door to the entrance was always locked.

"Dahlia you don't understand..." Rex growled at me holding a good grip on my arm. Oh dear...he is mad...

"Accept it or I have no choice but to force you. My pack is at the edge of extinction." His gaze held anger and he clenched his teeth. He twisted my arm and turned me around to face him. For crying out loud! He sounded like he was some kind of dog!

''Let go of me..." I glared into his blue eyes. His eyes... They turned dark and cold.
"I'm fed up with you treating me like am just some piece of dirt to you!" He growled.

Oh no he didn't just say that.

"Me?! I'm fed up with you for using me as if I was some kind of toy or meat!" I growled back. I tried struggling free but he held a tight grip on my arm. I've never seen him so angry...frustrated....

"Then I have no choice but to force you to be my mate. I love you too much but I'm the alpha now and I need you to marry me. Like it or not." He lossened the grip on my arm and stormed off into the bathroom.

"Rex you bastard! I'm not ever going to marry you!" I yelled. Rex opened the door and came out with a black trash bag. Oh oh... Now I did it. He walked towards me and stood in front of me.

"Sorry beauty but I have no other choice. Just know I'm not as bad as you think I am." His eyes were extremely cold. He grabbed my waist and pulled me towards him. We were lip distance away.

"You're mine now..." He growled and quickly covered me with the bag. "No Rex!" I tried struggling but it was useless. I felt that I was losing oxygen and closed my eyes. He had me in the bag. Literally.

"What's in the bag Rex?" I heard a female's voice. I opened my eyes to only see darkness. Great I was still in the bag. The horror...

"Bring the rest of the pack. I got something here that will make me a complete alpha." I heard Rex's voice. I felt him move and toss the bag with me to the ground. I felt my back land on hard dirt. I kept in my scream of pain in me as I landed hard on the ground.

"Listen up my pack!" I heard Rex. His voice full of power and order. In the background I could hear lots of soft breathing and footsteps. And if my hearing wasn't wrong I heard panting.

"Brutus is dead as you all know. Now as law I'm next to be alpha." Alpha? What in the freaking world was Rex talking about?

In the background I heard howling? "As alpha to lead this pack I needed a mate and now I have her. I want to introduce you to my future beloved wife... Beauty..."

I didn't realize I was holding my breath. I felt someone opening the bag and out I came like a rolling ball. I rolled out to see eyes of all sort of colors staring at me.
Wolves... Wolves were in front of me. Freaking wolves...

"Beauty... I want you to meet my pack. The Blood Rose Pack." A white wolf with blue eyes got to my side. I realized I was still in the ground with my hair covering my face. The wolf in front of me looked huge.

"Rex?" I couldn't believe my eyes at what I was seeing. The white wolf held no expression and didn't reply. Somehow I knew it was Rex. "Okay pack now you've met her now get back to work!" Rex ordered.

The wolves around me started to howl and quickly hide in the shadows. Apparently I was the only human in this dark forest full of wolves.

"Behave." Was all that Rex could say. I blew my hair from my face and dropped my jaw low as I observed my surrounding.

There is a time when one thinks they're dreaming or probably hullicinating. When that time comes you are stuck to believe if this is a joke, a book, or some kind of movie. Right now I had no clue if i was even alive.

"Rex?" A blueish gray wolf with Silver eyes Walked towards me followed by three more wolves.

"Sarah." I saw Rex's wolf eyes calm and relax a bit. "Good thing you decided to stay I need to talk to you." He walked past me and walked off with Sarah.

Great he left me with strangers....

"Hello. I'm Dominic." A black wolf spoked. I came back to life and got startled. I got up and slowly started to back away. They speak... Of course they do...

Rex~

"Sarah... I have a problem." I curled my tail on my paws. "What is it brother?" Her silver eyes were calm yet strong. "She doesn't loves me." Boy how I hated how it sounded. Made me feel weak and soft.

"Is she one of us?" Sarah asked. "No. She is complete human." I stared at my paws. "No wonder.." She stared up at the night sky.

"You have to marry quick before the full moon. Some of us are turning weak allready. We need you as our leader." Sarah's eyes turned dark and concerned.

"Rex? Sarah?" A brown wolf with orange eyes came up to us. It was Delany my half sister. "Whats wrong?" Sarah stood up.

"Its Beauty. She kinda... Oh just come over Here and see it yourself."

We walked away from the trees to the clearing where I left Dahlia. She was crouched up on a tree.

"What the hell is she doing up there?" I couldn't keep my temper anymore. I specifically told her to behave.

"What kind of wife this is Rex?" A black wolf came up to me. Dominic my rival like I like to call him smirked at me. "She behaves like a cat." He chuckled.

I quickly turned my gaze towards him and pounced on top of him. I bared my fangs at him and held him pin to the ground.

"I prohibit you to talk about my future wife Like that!" I snarled. His green eyes grew wide. "Rex calm down you know how he likes to joke around." Sarah got beside me. I got up from him and gave one last glare as I walked towards the tree Dahlia was on. "Dahlia get down here now!" I yelled.

"No! Not til you tell me everything!" She yelled back. Argh! Why did womens had to be so complicated???

I started to pace around in circles. "Rex mabie I can help." Sarah suggested. I realized Delany, Dominic, and my other sister that I realized was there were watching us curiously.

"Fine." I grunted and waved my tail for the rest to follow me. How I hated to be looking like a fool in front of everyone.

Forgotten Soul~

I sat on one of the branches of the tree. The last thing I wanted to do was be in the ground with a bunch of wolves who could be savage hungry animals.
I saw Rex disappear with some of the wolves just leaving one. A blueish gray wolf with silver eyes stood at the bottom of the tree.

"Hello can we talk? I'm Sarah." She looked up. She stood up on her hind legs and started to transform.
She turned into a woman and started to climb the tree. Oh crap she was gonna eat me or worse mabie she was going to transform me into one of them...

She was at the top of the tree and sat across me in another branch. "Let's talk." She suggested warmly.

I held tightly on my branch still not a word came out of my mouth. I finally let the first thing come out of my mouth.

"Are you...all werewolves?" I asked. I felt my voice cracked. Sarah nodded at my question.

"Indeed we are. As you know our pack is called The Blood Rose Pack. Rex my dear brother and your future husband will be the leader. Our last leader died and since he was second in command by law he has to be our leader." Sarah blew some of her hair from her eyes.

"Leader?" I was curious now. "Yes. But in order for him to be leader he has to be married before the full moon. Please Beauty help us. Our specie is on the edge of extinction." Sarah pleaded. Could she be telling the truth? Can I even trust her? I had so much confusion in my head.

I never thought those stories that I used to read when I was young would actually be true. Those creatures that were evil yet there was a whole mystery behind them. Never in a million years would I have believed there were such thing yet I almost married a vampire and now here I am about to marry a werewolf.

"Please Beauty love him. He only has a few days left and if he doesn't hurry we will all die." Sarah's silver eyes held a glint of fear.

Fear... I know that feeling really well...

I felt my heart toss and turn. Flip and pound. Twist and Weaken. What should I do???

I jumped down from the tree and landed safely in the ground. Sarah copied my move and landed beside me. I flipped my hair back and straightened up.

I turned to Sarah. She had black hair pulled up on a ponytail and wore a gray shirt with black jeans. She looked so human. Well mabie the eyes were a little more for wolves.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Mabie I didn't love Rex but I wasn't willing to let a whole specie die because of me. As much I tried to believe vampires and werewolves didn't exist... I had no other choice.

I thought about my past. How I wished I had a normal life. Mabie I was meant to be like this. Hurt, broken, damaged, forgotten...

Here I am now. About to save a pack of wolves.

I opened my eyes and took in a deep breath. I faced Sarah who was watching me. Her eyes were sad and lonley with fear. I guess they did have emotions... I actually felt bad for her. She stood there watching me innocently.

I may hate Rex for who the human side he is but it didn't mean I will let these creatures with so much fear, suffering,and mystery go extinct.

I turned to Sarah and finally for the first time smiled since I got here.

"Tell Rex and the pack I'm ready to get married."
