It had been a week since the
applications were sent to Illea.

Of course, the ones that entered were impatient for the first few days... but by now they we're probably doing whatever they usually do in their own kingdoms.

Queen Anastasia had stayed up all night to pick the most... unique and admirable matches for her children.

She signed and sealed the letters that accepted and invited the new Selected to Illea before sprinkling it in the 'royal destination dust'. The letters disappeared but they would find the ones they were designated for by early morning.

The next morning, you were doing what you usually did when an unexpected letter appeared before you, waiting to be taken and accepted. It was sprinkled in 'destination dust' which meant that it was for you -and you only- no way could it have been sent accidentally.
Along with the destination dust came the butterflies - which the myths describe as the tiny winged creatures that guided the dust to its destination.

The letter read;

Dear (name of the selected) of (name of the kingdom),

Your application to compete for the hands of The  Royal Children of Illea was seen and accepted by Illea's own Queen. You seem to meet the expectations and we accept and invite you to participate in this year's Selection.
With this letter, you will also receive a few questions that are to be answered and sent back to our kingdom.
The royal carriages of our kingdom will be there to bring you here in three days of time.
