I paced around in my room. The shopping was still downstairs but I didn't have any intention of putting it away at that moment, I was too busy trying to figure out what to do about tonight. I mean, he's gonna be there.

That's the only problem, I don't want to miss out on a party, but I just don't think I can go - I can't bring myself to see him.
I paced around once more pulling my hands through my long hair frustratedly. Why was this so hard! He only thinks of me as a friend, that's all I'll ever be to him, and it pisses me off!

I shook my head. 'Stop thinking like that!' There was still a chance (an incredibly small chance, but a chance nonetheless) that he wouldn't be there. And even if he was, it wouldn't be the end of the world-he probably wouldn't even notice me being there anyway...
I can't hide away and avoid every social gathering forever can I? I sighed. I needed to clear my head.

Passing my two cats I walked into my kitchen and hastily put all of the shopping away. I then took a nice long shower to try and clear my thoughts a bit and it helped a little but when I stepped out I was still feeling nervous, but I knew that deep down I had to go-I couldn't wait any longer.

(Lazy ass time skip to 8pm)
(Tsunami)
I got out of my Pickup and pressed on the buzzer for Tachimukai's apartment, I was so late. 'God I hope he's not mad.'
He buzzed me in and I headed straight for the lift. My heart raced as I stood in silence listening to the music playing through the speakers, I didn't really recognise the song but it was still kinda catchy. The doors slid open and I rushed to his front door, straightening my shirt.

He opened the door before I had a chance to knock - I would have noticed his grin from a mile off and I could tell that he was happy to see me. He literally flung himself at me and it took me a little by surprise but I soon regained my balance and swung him around a few times before placing him gently on the floor. He giggled and blushed causing me to smile. I heard the door opposite us open, I turned around to see Alice heading outside. She smiled and waved to Tachimukai and I as she went.

I looked back at Tachi who had his arms folded "You're late" he said, failing to hide the smile on his face. I rubbed my neck and smiled at him "I know and I'm sorry, Tobiktaka needed some help with something, but, I have something for you that I hope can make up for it-just the teensiest bit." I reached into my jacket pocket and pulled out a small blue box and handed it to Tachimukai who looked at it suspiciously before opening it.

"Eh?! Tsunami! Sake kit-kats! I thought they'd all sold out?"
"Yeah, I had to trek to find them but anyway." He looked up at me with slight awe before hugging me once again, but then he drew back. "Ah, but I didn't get you anything..." He said, frowning slightly. I just waved it off "It's no big deal besides..." I held onto his waist tightly and stared deeply into his eyes " I get to spend a night with the one person I care the most about in my whole life, that's a gift enough for me." He paused, then went a little red. "Jousuke! You're so cheesy, what was that!" He laughed embarrassedly.
"What, you don't like me being all romantic Yuuki?" I grinned and he pushed me playfully "No offence, but you're awful at being romantic."
"And that's just what you love about me isn't it?" I asked and he pouted at me.
"I suppose you got me there."
I grinned again and placed a kiss on his forehead before pointing to the chocolates in his hand "Now don't you go getting drunk off your ass on those Yuuki-"
He pushed me lightly "Oh hush you! That's impossible!" He laughed, pulling me inside his apartment.

Once inside I made myself comfortable on his soft couch. "You want something to eat?" He called from the kitchen, I was going to wait until we were actually at the party till I ate, so I told him that I was okay for the moment. Apparently Suzuno makes the best samosas.
'Ah...samosas...'

He returned with a small plate of toast with honey and began to eat it. Once he was finished we headed towards his door, he then remembered something and dashed into his bedroom. When he came back he had a medium-sized gift bag in his hands.

"I thought I should get them a gift, so I bought this today." He said gesturing to the wine bottle inside. "I don't really know shit about wine, but I hope they like it." He said truthfully and I nodded "I'm sure they'll appreciate the gesture." I said lovingly as I grabbed my car keys from my jeans pocket and opened the front door. We made our way downstairs, got in my truck and sped off to our destination.

(Handa)
I got out of my car and headed towards the door of Kazemaru and Endou's house, with Matsuno close behind me. I rang the doorbell and waited until Kazemaru opened the door, Endou was standing in the hallway pulling on a jacket when Kazemaru told him to hurry up. He quickened his pace and soon we were all standing on the porch whilst Endou locked the door.

I smiled at the two of them and hurried over to my car, Matsuno getting in the passenger side and the other two jumping in the back.

"Thanks for picking us up Handa!" Endou said as I turned on the engine and pulled out of their drive. I smiled in response and cranked up the radio since Matsuno and I's favourite song was on, he immediately turned to me a grin outstretched on his face as he started jamming along, singing the words. I joined in with the chorus, the others catching on soon as well until the whole car was filled with singing and laughter as we headed for the party.

I looked at myself in the mirror, hoping that I looked okay. I had thought about changing my hairstyle but I couldn't be bothered with that so I just tied it up like always in a ponytail. I glanced at the clock that read 8:50pm - crap! The party started in 10 minutes and I hadn't even left the house yet!

I ran downstairs quickly and fed my cats before I left. I left so hastily that I ran into my neighbour Mrs Yamada and had to apologise for almost knocking her over. My car was at the garage getting fixed so I had to run down my long road to get to the bus stop. It was a lot chillier now than before as I stood at the bus stop shivering in my thin jacket, the bus finally arrived-and sped right past me! I waved my arms frantically and tried to ran after it but it was just too fast. "Why didn't it stop!" I shouted to no one in particular.

'This day just keeps getting worse...' Just then a strong gust of wind hit me, messing up my hair and seriously making me wish that I'd worn a coat instead. The bus didn't seem to be coming anytime soon and I was pretty sure it couldn't get any worse. Then something hit my head, and ran down my cheek. Rain. This was not happening, out of all the bus stops, this had to be the only one without a shelter. I sighed as more and more drops began falling from the sky, getting heavier and heavier, making me completely soaked as I waited for a bus that was never going to arrive at this rate...

(9:00pm)
(Suzuno)
I looked out of the window as I walked upstairs carrying Cookie in my arms so that I could put her in our bedroom. It was raining really heavily now which was unexpected. I came back down and walked over to Nagumo who was setting up some snacks. "Nagumo?" I asked, he turned to face me. "Do you think, Ryuuji will come today?" I continued, thinking about what happened this morning.

He looked a bit puzzled "Well yeah, I would think so, why wouldn't he?"
"It's just... I saw him this morning and he looked really, really down, but he wouldn't tell me what was wrong...also he seemed very reluctant to come today..." I said "I'm really worried about him, he's been so down lately and I can't think why." I continued.

Nagumo gave me a reassuring rub on the back. "I know, and I'm worried about him too. But, I'm sure he's fine really and I'm sure he'll be here today, don't worry!" He said, giving me a kiss on the cheek. "Oh that reminds me! I just got a text from Saginuma, he can't make it since he's out of town."
"You know, I'm beginning to think he's just avoiding us now..."
Nagumo smirked "Well...I mean after what happened last time..."
I cringed "Good point, maybe it's for the best." I said with a little laugh before the doorbell rang.

'They're early.'
I went to unlock the door. It was Tachimukai and Tsunami, huddling together under a small umbrella. "Come on in guys!" Nagumo said as they stepped inside and removed their shoes. Tachimukai handed me a shiny black gift bag which I gratefully accepted then put in the kitchen.

They were shown to the living room and told to make themselves comfortable. Just as I was about to join them the bell went again and I rushed to answer it. I let Handa, Matsuno, Kazemaru and Endou inside before seeing Kidou, Genda, Sakuma and Fudou pulling up behind.

(Omniscient)
Soon everyone was arriving at the party, Hiroto, Gouenji and Fubuki and finally Afuro. However, the green haired man was still nowhere to be seen, Suzuno thought about calling or texting him but Nagumo assured him that it would be better for their friend to make up his own mind rather than feeling forced to come. Just at that moment the doorbell rung again. "I'll get it!" Nagumo said running to the door. He opened it to reveal a throughly pissed-off looking Midorikawa, completely soaked and shivering from the cold.
