(Sunday, 11am~ Kidou and Fudou's house)

(Kidou)
I sighed laying my head on the plush sofa, staring up at the beige ceiling above. "What's wrong with you?" Fudou asked, walking into the living room with a slice of pizza in his hand. I just sighed again "Akio, I told you to throw that pizza away already, you're going to get sick. I won't tell you again. Not to mention, pizza is hardly an appropriate food to eat in the morning." I said frustratedly, because Fudou never listens to me, even though 99% of the time I'm right.

Fudou just laughed at me, chewing on the pizza obnoxiously just to spite me "It's de-li-cious. And for your information, Yuuto, it's called brunch-maybe you've heard of it? It's all the rage amongst the gays." He joked and I just rolled my eyes "That monstrosity does not constitute brunch you moron."

He shrugged his shoulders "Whatever. Anyway, what's wrong with you? You never answered my question." He stated, taking another bite out of his pizza. I sat up, sighing again "I'm bored Akio. There's nothing to do." I stated nonchalantly, business has been pretty slow lately so I've just been stuck in the house for weeks on end with nothing to occupy my time. I even watched daytime tv, if that's not rock bottom I don't know what is.

Fudou thought for a moment. "Well then, let's go do something."
"You're a genius, why didn't I think of that." I replied sarcastically, pushing my glasses up. 'That reminds me, I need to book another opticians appointment...'
"Let's go to the park then." Fudou said and I would've protested but I was just too tired and bored to think of anything else.

'Besides...the weather is lovely out, and you could do with some vitamin d'

"Sure, whatever." I conceded, getting up. He followed me then began to walk upstairs "I'm gonna go get dressed." He said through a yawn, I rolled my eyes at his laziness but he just smirked, stealing a kiss from me and running upstairs before I could scold him. I wiped my mouth with the back of my hand but found a small smile crept onto my lips instead. I don't like physical affection, I'm not particularly romantic, my friends know this and so does Fudou, but Fudou also loves to poke the bear.

And lately, I seem to be letting him get away with it more and more often...

We got to the park and just began to walk around a bit, I'll admit, the scenery was quite nice. There were a lot of people out, many couples with young children. Fudou held my hand confidently as he walked around with me, of course we got a few stares, but that's to be expected I suppose. I hate PDA but holding hands is okay for me on most days. At one point in our walk he wrapped his arm around my shoulder and nuzzled into me slightly, testing my boundaries. Akio tends to do this a lot and I can't really blame him but I gave him a look that told him I wasn't comfortable with it since there were so many people around; he swiftly moved away before apologising and grabbing my hand again.

I opened my mouth to say something when a dog suddenly bounded up to me and jumped, knocking me to the ground instantly. Fudou just stood there, not sure whether to help or take a picture.

Suddenly, a young girl ran up to us, she had caramel skin and short, curly dark brown hair and she looked extremely embarrassed as she pried the heavy Labrador off of me. "Sorry!" she said but I just brushed myself off and got up, lightly glaring at my boyfriend who was laughing to himself. "It's fine." I said politely before she ran off with the embarrassedly- well more like the dog dragged her away.

I had a dog like that when I was a boy, prize-winning Australian Shepherd, I did love her of course but she was definitely a handful. I vaguely recall Fudou mentioning that we should get a dog a few weeks back, but I hardly think that's practical. Fudou suddenly kissed my cheek "How's about that picnic now Ki?" he said lovingly, and I decided not to reprimand him since that idea did sound lovely.

(Fudou)
I sat under a huge willow tree and watched my boyfriend eat his food. I picked up a strawberry and held it in front of his mouth "Open up." I said and he narrowed his eyes at me before taking a look around, there wasn't so many people in this area so he merely huffed before opening his mouth a little; I gently popped it into his mouth and he ate it happily. He gave me a small smile and tucked one of his dreads behind his ear. I couldn't help it, I know Yuuto doesn't like public displays of affection but right now I didn't care.

I leaned in and pulled him close to me, and kissed him on the lips. I expected him to pull away but he didn't. His grip on my hand tightened and I was tempted to deepen the kiss so tempted, but I knew he would hate that. I pulled away before going in for another kiss, my lips hungry for his; he seemed more hesitant this time which I expected, but he still did not pull away. My ears pricked up to a faint whistling sound, getting louder and louder until.. Bam! We were suddenly apart. I opened my eyes to see Kidou's head to the side, his hand was holding his cheek which was rapidly becoming red, I didn't understand until I saw a Rugby ball near his lap.

"Yuuto you okay!?" I asked him anxiously as he lifted his head to face me, his right eye was closed in pain and tears were welling up in the corner. "Ow..." he said, the pain clearly evident in his voice. That's when I heard laughter "Ha ha! 100 points for hitting the gay couple!" I whipped round and saw a group of teenage boys in fits of laughter, unable to control themselves.
I saw red. Nobody hurts my boyfriend and gets away with it!

I grabbed their stupid ball angrily and shot up, Kidou grabbed my sleeve "Akio don't. Let's just go. Forget those idiots." he groaned in between winces of pain, not wanting to cause a scene, but there was no way I was gonna let them get away with this that easily. "You know I can't do that."
"Oooh here he comes!" one of them said with an obnoxious smile on his face. "This yours?" I growled, hurling the ball as fast and as hard as I could at who I guessed was their leader.

He fumbled it. "What the fuck's your problem dude?" He shouted trying to act all innocent.
I was in rage. "My problem is that you fucking idiots threw your dumb ball straight at me and my boyfriend!" I shouted, resisting the urge to punch them all in their dumb faces. The leader laughed and stepped closer to me "Oh I'm sorry, did we hurt your little...boyfriend?" he said, gagging as he said the word, it made me even more angry. His friends laughed and pretended to throw up. "This is supposed to be a family park, think of the children!" Another yelled.

I was seriously about to punch him when someone grabbed my hand-Kidou, his cheek was red and had started to bruise and he had a look of annoyance on his face. I also noticed one of the lenses in his glasses was cracked. "Akio come on, let's just go already." he repeated but I ignored him. "Look, you've had your fun now just leave us alone, we don't want any trouble okay?" he said pulling on my arm but I stayed exactly where I was. "Hey you should listen to your girlfriend ya know!" one of them said and my boyfriend stopped dead in his tracks, I was about to retort when Kidou said "Excuse me?" calmly but I could tell he meant business, he turned around and stood next to me.

"What did you just call me?" he said and I could feel the anger in his body, although he was able to keep his head cool, I admired him for that.
"You heard!"
"Yeah hit the road dreads" two of the cronies said, laughing again, but their laughs didn't really seem as genuine this time.

Their leader pushed me lightly in the chest, trying to get me back off, but I wasn't going anywhere. "There's no need to cause a scene guys, and I suggest that all four of go get yourself some lessons because your aiming is shit." Kidou said in his calm tone, the boys looked extremely insulted. "Yeah, in most rugby games, the object is not to hit someone's innocent 'girlfriend'." I said, actually enjoying this rather than punching out their lights.

They really didn't know what to say and looked to their leader who obviously hadn't planned this far ahead. Kidou looked at his watch "Hmmm well it seems you've wasted 6 minutes and 47 seconds of your life and achieved nothing, so I'm gonna actually carry on with my life thanks." he said confidently, then he grabbed my arm but instead turned me to face him.

"And for the record." he pulled my shirt and kissed me passionately on the lips, before pulling back and walking away, leaving everyone stunned. I turned and saw their shocked faces and it just made me laugh, suddenly there was a loud bark and a familiar Labrador came bounding up to the group and jumped on the leader "Ooops!" the girl said from behind the willow tree and she gave us a wink.

We walked back home, me going on and on about what just happened, Kidou laughed at first but got increasingly more frustrated when I kept talking about the kiss. "Well, just don't expect me to do that again. It was only because I don't exactly want you to get in trouble for fighting teenagers, again."
I shut up after that.

Once we got back I grabbed an ice pack and placed it gently on his bruised cheek. "I'm sorry you had to get hurt babe, I really am, I should have protected you." I said solemnly, looking at the floor. Kidou lifted my head up with one hand to look at me "It's okay. Plus I think I've shown that I can take care of idiots myself." he said with a small smile.
"And how many times do I have to tell you not to call me babe Akio. I'm not your babe, babe." He said lowly and I put my hand up in defence
"Loud and clear boss."
