Chapter 26:
I walked behind him carefully not drawing attention to myself, with my head down not wanting to endure the pity gaze of the faces I pass by.
It was morning, breakfast was prepared in the dining room.
I heard voices as we got closer to the door. He didn't say anything looking behind him, casting his eyes down at me, but I held my head down looking at my shaking hands. He always does this a warning I call it, I felt cold if even I hug my arms around my body.
The door opened and suddenly the talking ceased. You could hear a pin drop and know where it landed. The very power he held was almost suffocating.
"Well gentlemen, what's with all this commotion" he said icy dripping from his words. As he lift a brow his eyes scanning the whole room waiting for an answer.
I saw the visible gulps, fearful sweats lining their face but one clear his throat being the most cocky from the group to talk.
"Sir if I must say..." he suddenly stood up taking a wine glass in hand with a spoon, reminding me of the old movies where they use this method to gain everyone's attention.
I don't understand, isn't everyone already looking at you.
I sat silently on the ground glancing through my eyelashes, at the middle age man standing with a cocky smirk on his lips.
"...we gain international power sir, sourcing the deal of the world renowned mafias in the states and Russia" he finished speaking the words rolling off his tongue in one breath, before anything a huge smile was place upon his lips as the others nervously smiled.
I didn't understand the level of silence in the room as I glance at him, but he seemed to be in thought before shocking us all with a pasted smile, one that didn't fit his face.
"Very good men" he said but the words held a meaning for what it really was.
Cheers broke out and soon after it was noisy again.
At the corner of my eyes I saw a slightly built man walked in with causal street wear on, his blonde hair parted at the side complimenting his brown eyes.
He glance at me then look away staring at Jayvin with hidden anger but it was gone quickly.
"Ahh little brother, glad to have you with us" Jayvin said his words sincere, the man just nodded taking a seat at the left of him, sitting closer to me.
'Brother' it cause a pain to shoot through my stomach, one of discomfort.
I try to ignore it.
The food came being my distraction. Mine being place on the ground, shamelessly being treated as an animal. I picked at the food not finding interest to eat.
I subconsciously felt eyes on me, looking up I saw his eyes, sharp browns searching but quickly looking back down, pretending not to notice.
'What now' I nervously thought could he share the same mind of his brother. I didn't want to find out as a shiver came matching my thoughts.
I look back at the food picking at it once again, but something caught my eyes that wasn't there before. A tiny folded paper almost micro to the eyes.
I quickly took it up, playing back with the food while making sure Jayvin didn't see but he was busy talking to one of the men.
I felt warm inside almost like 'hope'
"What's wrong with you" I heard his voice I got scared for a second.
"W....what d..o yo..u m..ean" I shakily said the beat of my heart filling my ears.
"That stupid grin...how does this benefit you" he said annoyed waving his hands across the room, he thought I had a grin for his achievement. Yet I curse myself I hadn't known I was showing my happiness on the outside.
"N..o it..s..." I began to say but stumble over my words, I became breathless hyperventilating if even.
"Brother may I discuss something with you"
I was saved.
Jayvin's eyes moved stiffly away looking to his brother before giving him a curt nod, standing up.
I thank him inwardly as they move to exit the room, but Jayvin didn't miss the chance to gaze at me before disappearing.
That same gaze of warning.

Night came quite quickly. I was left successfully alone in the room, they plan a celebration for closing a deal. I heard a little but though it didn't concern me.
I still didn't felt alone although he left five minutes ago, I still sat in one place waiting for a sudden burst of the door.
Letting go of my breath I finally stand, going to the bathroom, the thought of unfolding the paper my mission.
I release my final breath removing the scrap of paper from inside my nail. For a micro folded paper it was large like a regular book sheet.
'How' I look at the paper in wonder.
'Miss Bolton,
we are here to save you'
Although not much those few words felt like heaven, a stray tear escaped flowing freely down, I was crying from happiness.
One I never experienced in a while.
I wiped my tears, washing my face before folding back the paper and putting it back in my nails.
For the first time in forever I go to bed expecting something better the next day.
Some time pass my eyelids getting ready, begging for sleep I was about to answer.
When a sudden sound came from behind the door.
The door open with a creak I knew it was him but something was off about him yet I didn't dare look back at him.
A crash came followed by him cursing. I pretend to sleep but it all went away when I felt his hand on my foot pulling me to the edge of the bed.
"Sweet Eliza" he slurred his words pulling off his jacket. I stared in fear as I felt his hand pulling my leg apart.
No
No
"No" I scream even louder pushing him away from me. I could smell the liquor on his breath as his lips crash on mine.
Suddenly I heard fabric tearing, tears fill my eyes as I image the worse. I still try to push him from me but he held my hand above my head bracing them tightly against the bed.
He gazed lazily into my eyes holding my soul captive. His lips touch my neck sucking on the area his hand still holding mines.
"Let me have you Eliza" he whispered against my bruised skin. I shiver from fear, fear of what he was capable of doing to me.
"No Jayvin.." I shock myself his name rolling off my tongue, I never spoke his name never. "...you can't...please not this" I said pleading to him but it seem to piss him off.
"Shut up" he yelled in my face, not caring.
He release my hand ripping my shirt in half, my chest bare to his hunger eyes.
But he didn't move nor touch me. His eyes looked into mines I saw a mix of emotions.
He suddenly lay forward his body laying on mine, no words was said.
I could only hope for them to hurry, fearing he'll take my innocence for real.
