No one's had any luck finding this guy. No matter what area they searched, no matter how many men they had on the streets asking questions or cameras hidden in establishments they owned, Taemin was nowhere in sight.

Jimin knew he was lurking about, he had always been exceptionally good at hiding, and the only comfort provided was that it confirmed what they already knew. Someone on the inside had betrayed them, and now another issue was fishing them out amongst the hundreds of men they controlled.

His sister was working just as hard if not more than he was, and he appreciated that effort, he was grateful to have her by his side. Problem was, nothing, absolutely nothing could be found and the sleepless nights were starting to take its toll on her, burning her out. Jimin had finally convinced her to take a break. It wasn't easy doing that, but since her bodyguard agreed and practically forced her into bed, she had little choice in the matter.

She took a while in the shower, and he was taken aback when she asked for help getting dressed. Her body was in an awful state, her skin almost transparent from the lack of sleep and he knew he should've stopped this much sooner. Even if he had to tie her down and force her to rest, he wish he would've done that.

Now she's suffering, and he has to watch. One hour a day of light sleep wasn't going to keep her functioning, but he stepped aside and allowed her to work herself to death. He figured she needed to distract herself from what she was feeling. Hell, he couldn't blame her for that. But it's been too long, and once he helps her get dressed, professionally keeping his eyes away from lingering on places they shouldn't, he tucks her into bed, stacking blankets on top to keep her warm.

He didn't mean to seem creepy, but he had to keep an eye on her, so he sat at her vanity to make sure she was sleeping. The estate was well protected, much better as opposed to the Kang Residence which was now burnt to the ground(due to her request), but that didn't mean he wasn't going to hover over her, even when it wasn't necessary. He simply liked to admire her while she slept. Her pouted lips, her soft cheeks that looked puffy due to them being mushed against the pillow.

For hours he sat in that chair, dazed by her face, not even realizing the sun had come up until it started shining right in his eyes and he groaned. After getting up to close her curtains, her room now completely dark, he sat back down in his seat, stretching his stiff legs from being in this position for so long. He didn't bother eating, or checking in with her brother, because he needed to stay with her.

A full day had gone by, it was around 6 p.m. when she woke up, her small body drowned with blankets and she looked so cute trying to crawl out from underneath them. It took her a while to speak, even open her eyes and adjust to the darkness of the room, finally noticing a figure sitting in her chair and before she starts to freak out and wonder if maybe she's hallucinating, she knows that silhouette all too well and instantly relaxes.

"How long was I out?", her voice was raspy from the amount of sleep she's gotten, and he found it so attractive, how messy and out of touch she was.

"A day."

She perks up in an instant, limbs weak from lack of movement as she struggles to push off the blankets and stand, "Is everything ok?"

His silhouette stands, moving to the side of her bed, easily pushing off the sheets, "Everything's fine as far as I know. I've stayed with you this whole time so it's a good idea for us to see your brother before heading to dinner."

Her brows scrunch together, "Wait, so you're telling me you sat in that chair for a full 24 hours? No eating? Nothing?"

That was her first most important question, and he nodded, patting her head and fixing the strap of her shirt that was starting to fall off her shoulder, the brush of his glove sending a chill through her body.

"I needed to make sure you were safe", he responds, now moving his hand to stroke the top of her head, running his fingers through her hair.

"You couldn't leave me alone for even a second?", she asked in disbelief.

"No. I didn't want to."

He wouldn't stop playing with her hair, and it's not like she minded, but she was starting to feel things she shouldn't and needed to divert her attention to something else. He catches onto her distant stare and silence, so he stops touching her and turns on the lamp, her eyes squinting in adjustment.

"Also, what did you mean by dinner? Are we going somewhere?", she finally stood up, taking a moment to find her footing and stretch her aching muscles that felt heavy.

"Yes. I'm taking you to dinner", he stands close by her, watching her tank top rise up her stomach as she stretches.

"Oh. Just you and I?", she wondered, cocking her head curiously as he nodded and looked away.

"We need to get out of the house. Get your mind off things for a while. And no I'm not asking, we're doing it. Take a shower and get dressed. I'll be waiting for you."

"That sounds nice. ~Just the two of us~", she sings, referencing a song and he looks her way with a deadpan expression when he sees that cheeky smile.

"Don't ever do that again", he mumbles and she laughs, adoring that look on his face that never failed to make her feel good about herself, like she succeeded in amusing him.

"I'm just playing, chill out old man. Seriously though, just us?", she asks while entering her closet to pick out a dress, feeling refreshed from the amount of sleep she got after suffering the past few days due to her stubbornness.

"Yes, I'm sure your brother is busy and Dong-Wook doesn't want to be a third wheel", he leaned against the wall, talking to her as she got into the shower, her figure blurred from the textured glass.

"Do you just want me all to yourself? Cause that's what it sounds like", she muses, now wrapping a towel around herself when she's done, his eyes glued to the floor.

She didn't mind his presence as she slipped on the dress, gesturing for him to tie the strings on the back which she held so it wouldn't fall down. He came up behind her, tying them into a bow on the back of her neck.

"I think you're looking too much into this, my friend", he replied.

"What happened to calling me boss?", she says, turning around to look up at him, their chests barely touching.

"I'll call you that when I want to see your face match the color of your dress", he responds, expressionless as always but less serious.

"For someone who's supposedly heartless, you know how to play with someone's feelings", she muses, brushing against him as she sits down at her vanity.

He walked forward to stand close by, leaning his against the wall as he watched and observed every little thing she did, her routine practically his own from how many times he'd watched her do it. Each time, he found it interesting and immersive, something he secretly enjoyed because it gave him a moment to admire her while she was distracted.

"Do I play with your feelings? That's not my intention", he defends, impressed by her intellect as usual and he didn't make an effort to hide it like he used to.

He's changed and the way his heart has softened around her is something he can't deny. He's been by her side, watching her grow every day. It's an experience unlike any other, seeing as he's never had friends or was interested in getting involved with someone before. But as always, she had that way about her, she had the power, and he was along for the ride.

"You're a tease old man. You're amused by it, aren't you?", she rhetorically asks, expecting him to just hum and watch her silently as he always did.

But he likes their banter and engages in it, not allowing her to have the last word, "I might be old, but I'm experienced. Sometimes I think you forget what I'm capable of, my friend. You know I have many skills. Imagine what you don't know about me."

She hums suggestively at that, wondering what that could mean, the possibilities being endless with his insinuations, "Tell me then, what skills do you have that you keep secret? If anything, you should tell me everything. You're my property after all. You said it yourself, you belong to me."

As she brushes highlighter on her nose bridge, they lock eyes for a few seconds, and he quips back, "Skills that aren't required for you to know. Other than the fact that if we were never involved, if I was never your bodyguard, let's just say I would've made good use of you and that smart mouth of yours."

If it was anyone else saying that, they would've been shot clean in the face, their body hitting the floor faster than you could say her name. The way he said it made heat course through her veins, quickly spreading to places she wished it didn't for the sake of her sanity. It was a subtle threat, but not in the way others would take it.

She could only assume what that meant, either blood-chilling torture or another kind of torture she'd enjoy. Runa was too flustered and taken aback to ask, so to hide what a mess he made of her, she laughed and put the makeup brush down, grabbing a gloss to coat her puffy lips with.

"You've gotten quite comfortable threatening your boss like that", she sarcastically retorts, rubbing her lips together and twisting the gloss cap back in before grabbing her foundation cushion.

"It's not necessarily a threat. More so a warning", he watches everything with serious intent behind his eyes, and she could feel it piercing her skin.

"Oh? What should I be warned of?", she takes a glance at him and looks away once feeling overwhelmed by that dark look on his face, not sure what he was thinking.

"To put it simply, those women I had to use were always crawling back. You've gotten so comfortable with me, as if we're more than just friends and I mean more to you than a bodyguard. That's dangerous", he says, his tone having an edge to it and it only excites her more, making her whole body feel like it was buzzing.

"I don't think we can ever be just friends", she responds, feeling embarrassed at how thirsty she sounded even when he wasn't indifferent to her bold attitude.

Was she reading this wrong? Was he playing her like those women he did in the past? No, what a stupid thought. The things he's done for her were nothing else but real. He didn't fake anything, at least not with her.

In response, he hums with agreement, not denying what they both knew, "I don't think we can either."

His nonchalant voice was difficult to understand if he meant that positively or negatively, but the only important thing was that in her mind, she understood. Deep down, both of them knew that it was wrong and they shouldn't be this close. Neither of them cared how it looked to others, or what the 'rules' were. All that mattered was moments like this, when he could watch her, enjoy the sound of her voice, or even her silence.

Not knowing how to respond and wanting to make the suffocating tension fade, she cleared her throat and stood to grab jewelry from the dresser on the other side of the room, "Could you help me with this?", she held up a glittering silver chain, small yet so elegant to the eye that he unconsciously stepped towards her to do as she asked.

Wordlessly, he brushed her hair aside, purposefully grazing his fingertips on the back of her neck, pleased by the sight of goosebumps arising on her skin as he clipped the necklace and moved her hair to where it gracefully fell down her back.

She looked so soft, he barely felt her skin and yet his hand was burning to run down the curves of her silhouette so it was imprinted into his mind like everything else was. His thoughts are cut short when she steps forward and grabs a few rings from the jewelry box, making him turn around to busy himself with petting Cookie who is resting on the edge of the bed.

The Doberman is disappointed to see them leave, but stays on the bed as he instructed. Jungkook had made reservations for the two, that's why he was quite adamant that neither her brother nor his consigliere would come. He wanted to be alone with her, and to anyone else, they'd suspect this was a date. Which it was, friendly of course, but he was trying to be subtle so he didn't have to admit it.

She didn't seem to understand what he'd done, just assuming that they were attending dinner as friends. Quite normal since they often did everything together. He was her bodyguard, after all, his duty was to be there no matter what. Jungkook figured it was good for Runa to get out of the house and into the fresh air, even if it was the smog of the city, at least she could enjoy a different atmosphere after drowning in work.

Once he takes her hand to help her out of the car, he feels his heart drumming in his chest when they walk in and after giving the hostess the name, they are led upstairs to be seated in the corner since she felt safer away from prying eyes.

"What are you going to get? Have you been here before?", she questions while scanning the menu, the dim lighting making her shine like a diamond.

"I haven't but I'll get steak", he simply answers, not too concerned with himself and more so wanting to hear her talk.

"What about you? Have you decided yet?", he leans comfortably in his seat, looking around at the few other people conversing.

"Hm, I'll get oysters", she says with a pretty smile, immediately feeling thrilled once she sees her favorite food is on the menu.

"Wine pairs well with oysters. Want to share a bottle? You can choose", he responds, and she nods at the idea, her doe eyes glowing much like the delicate chain hanging around her neck.

"Let me see what they have", she answers, grabbing the beverage menu placed in the middle of the circular table next to the small candle that was lit.

Pursing her glossed lips in concentration, her eyes scan the list while making a few suggestions before they both agree on Sauvignon Blanc, a white wine that paired well with the choice of seafood. About an hour later, she was tipsy and he had barely touched his glass.

She was devastatingly flirtatious when in this state, and it took quite a few glasses to get her this way. He didn't intend on getting her drunk, but he had to say her behavior was funny. Her innuendos and jokes made his eyes light up and kept him on his toes, ready to respond to anything just to hear her giggle.

"Since you're so good at observing, what can you say about me? I'm curious as to what you truly think", she smiles and leans forward, making him take a good look at her before responding.

Even though she wore makeup, her flushed face from drinking was evident and certainly matched the color of her dress, a deep red wine color that made her look unreal. From her midnight hair, her chocolate brown eyes, and the tint of her lips, every single square inch of her was made by the Gods, and they certainly took their time with her.

"I know you're not a drinker, but occasionally you'll indulge in a glass of wine. Preferably with food", he states and she nods drunkenly.

"I feel buzzed right now. Am I drunk or are you?", she points her manicured nail at him, wiggling it playfully as she laughed.

"Ok ok, I have another question. If you know me so well, inside and out, what color underwear am I wearing?", she muses, propping her cheek in her fist as she awaited his answer.

It was subtle, but his lips curved up and even in her state, she could tell he was enjoying their evening out, "You're not wearing any underwear."

Immediately she giggles and covers her mouth, leaning back in the chair and smoothing down her dress with a giddy look on her face, "I never do with this dress."

"Did you think you could tempt me?", he asks, knowing that she'd tell him the truth regardless because of how much wine she drank.

"Maybe I was hoping you'd help me take it off tonight since your hands seem to be quite skilled in combat. I'm curious as to what other things they could do", a giggle erupts from her and to say he was flustered was an understatement.

It didn't show, but he was burning hot to where his blood felt like it was boiling, and he could feel something bad happening to him. It was unusual how his body was reacting. She was testing the restraint he never had to worry about before.

"It's about time we head home", he interrupts her giggles, realizing that she's way too drunk and shouldn't be this vulnerable in a public space.

She grumbles in protest when he signs and pays the check, and in the car as he drives back to the estate, she curses under her breath and stubbornly crosses her arms over her chest. To prevent her from doing something stupid or getting hurt, once they get back to the estate, he picks her up and ignores the whispers in his ear as he carries her into the bedroom.

They enter and he shuts the door, setting her down onto her feet, hoping to take off her jewelry, but she unexpectedly grabs him by his wrists and pushes him down on the bed, crawling on top of him. He tried to lean up and get her off before she did anything, but she pushes him down again, giggling from how he's trying not to touch her.

"So good with guns but not so good with women, eh? Or are you just being shy? Come on Jeon, put your hands on me. I know you want to pull up this dress and see why I forgot my panties tonight", she grabs one of his hands, taking off the glove and he sighs.

"You're drunk", he comments, hoping she'd stop but she doesn't, placing his hand on her stomach and reaching to untie the strings that held up her dress.

"Touch me", she breathlessly replies, her eyelids getting heavy and as soon as the strings fall, he turns his head when the top part of her dress falls, revealing her chest.

"Come on Jeon. I know you want to fuck me, no need to be ashamed", she giggles and runs her hands down her body, hoping he'd look at her but his eyes remained glued to the wall.

"You're mine, Jeon. And you do as I say. I want you to know exactly what you've done to me", she grabs his hands that are no longer concealed by his gloves, and what snaps him back into reality is when he feels his hand on her warm thigh, dangerously close to slipping under her short dress.

"We can't. I'm not doing this, Runa", he harshly pulls away his hands, looking into her eyes clouded with lust and exhaustion from the alcohol in her system .

"You're hands are so cold, Jeon. Let me warm them up", she giggles again and tries to grab him, but he immediately pulls up her dress while still not looking at her bare chest, hastily tying it before pushing her down so she can't move.

"You need to sleep. Go to bed", he scolds, ignoring how the force he used made her breasts bounce, and how attractive she looked from this angle, cheeks flushed and her lips red and swollen from biting them.

"I'm not drunk silly, you are", she hiccups and it makes him sigh heavily, taking off her chain and rings while she was busy giggling to herself and suggestively repeating his name.

"Brush your teeth and wash your face", he instructs now that he's dragged her into the bathroom.

She moans lazily, leaning on the counter so the dress rides up her thighs and barely covers the curve of her ass, making him clench his jaw and focus on her eyes in the mirror that winked at him.

"I'll let you take a look, Jeon. Go ahead, pull up the dress a bit more", she pouted her lips, and instantly he forced her to stand up, putting toothpaste on the toothbrush and turning her around so she faced him.

"Open your mouth", he demands, and before she can sink onto her knees, which she was about to do, he grabs her jaw and sticks the toothbrush in her mouth once her lips are parted to protest.

"Stop acting like a child", he sighed while brushing her teeth, upset at himself for letting her get drunk to the point she was embarrassing herself.

He ignores her groans of disapproval and once she lazily spits out the toothpaste foam, he ties back her hair into a low bun and watches as she slowly washes off her makeup, making sure she did that and he tosses a clean towel in her face so she can dry off.

Once she takes too long doing that, he does that for her and brushes her hair when he sits her down at the vanity, and seeing as she refused to sit still and let him do anything else, he sprays something on her face and settles for that even though she complains she got some in her mouth.

"Settle down", he demanded, still trying to keep his patience as he tucked her in bed, turned off the lamps, and sat in the chair waiting for her to fall asleep.

"I have a secret to tell you", she sing-songs, hiding her face under the covers and he could see it wouldn't be long until she passed out, the fatigue evident in her eyes.

"What is it", he replies, hoping that she'll stop talking and get to sleep soon because with the things she's said to him tonight, he knew he was strong enough not to lose his mind.

That wasn't the man he was. He would never do that, no matter what she said or did to test him, he had self-control and respect for her, meaning he'd never take advantage of her. Even if he accidentally saw some things he shouldn't have, he was going to remain unbothered and patient. He might've been a monster, but even they can have their limits and boundaries, and that was one of them.

Her mischievous behavior prepared him for whatever she was going to say, all but this, "I've touched myself thinking about you."

"You're drunk and you're doing anything to tempt me. It's not working, boss", he replies, although he can't deny the words struck him differently, almost like she might've been telling the truth with the tone she used.

"Oh now you're calling me boss", she sassily replies with her voice slurring, "Call me boss one more time and I might give you a little show", she winks, squirming around in bed even when her eyelids were starting to get heavier by the minute.

He stays silent and keeps his heavy gaze on her, watching as she starts to move her hands down underneath the covers and he sighs while raising a brow, "Really? Am I going to have to restrain you?"

That earns a giggle in response and she moans, shaking her head drunkenly, "No, I'll be good. Promise."

Her tired smile convinces him she's finally starting to settle down but of course, she has to say one more thing to push his buttons, "Are you hard, Jeon?"

He was, he shifted and felt it, clicking his tongue with disappointment at himself. He'd never felt this way before, so it was surprising at first before that was swallowed by embarrassment.

He was far too focused on getting her taken care of to realize that the reason why he felt so hot was because of the evident bulge in his jeans. Jungkook heaves a sigh when he sees that dangerous twinkling in her eyes.

"No, I'm not. You're drunk and imagining things", he says, trying to gaslight her into thinking that indeed she was too drunk and her mind was playing tricks on her.

But it wasn't, he could barely believe it himself but he was aroused and he hated how much he enjoyed her attention. He's never liked it before, and the only time he's ever been in such an intimate situation was because he forced himself to.

So to feel this desire come so naturally in her presence made it humiliating, but he remained nonchalant and acted as if she was crazy. That was easier than her waking up tomorrow and ironically remembering this one part of the night.

"It's so big. Can I touch it please?", she whispers, about to crawl out of bed but he holds his hand up with a terrifying look on his face, one that stiffened her body.

"Don't you dare get out of that bed if you know what's good for you. I am not aroused by this and you need to go to bed. I can get nasty if it comes to that, which I hope it doesn't because you won't like me when I'm angry."

His tone is threatening enough to make her cower under the sheets, and she pouts to herself after being scolded. With a sigh of relief, he watches her move around beneath the comforter before she peaks her head out to look at him, only her nose and above visible.

"You're hard right? Was it because of my tits? Do you like them? I'm all natural ya know-"

"Kang Runa, if you don't shut your mouth this instant I swear to Christ I'm going to staple your lips together", he raised his voice, breathing heavily, and she narrowed her gaze with an aggravated huff.

"Fine then, stay hard and miserable, old man. I don't want you anyways", she drunkenly grumbles, closing her eyes and within seconds, fading into deep slumber.

After watching her for about ten more minutes, he finds it's safe to leave the room for the night and get ready for bed, taking an ice-cold shower before getting under the sheets. Staring up at the ceiling, he had too much on his mind and was trying his best not to think about what happened tonight so he wouldn't have to be put in a hard situation. Literally and metaphorically.

"I swear to God, she'll be the death of me."

💎🗡️💎🗡️💎🗡️

The next morning was absolute hell for her. She woke up confused with blurry vision, a painfully dry throat, along with dry lips that made her grimace once she saw herself in the vanity mirror she stumbled into. But hey, her makeup was somehow removed and she was grateful for that.

As soon as she brushes her teeth and finishes her morning routine, she stumbled downstairs, practically doing the walk of shame because last night was nothing but a blur.

Once she was in the clear and could eat breakfast that was prepared beforehand, she munched on a stack of blueberry pancakes drenched in butter and syrup, thinking back on what could've happened last night and if she could de-fog her memories. Dazed like it was a dream and never happened.

Deep in thought and too busy trying to decipher anything that could tell her if she embarrassed herself or not, Jungkook then pops into mind and she takes a moment to realize she hasn't even seen him this morning. Usually, after she woke up, he'd be exiting his bedroom, freshly showered after what she presumed a workout and they'd go about their day side by side.

Yet this morning the halls were silent and the only presence was her Doberman who currently munched on the food in her bowl, lapping up the water one of the housekeepers had poured just this morning. Where was Jungkook? Seriously though, did she do something to piss him off last night?

Oh god, just the thought makes her stomach twist in knots and now she can't even finish her food. Although she hated to waste anything, she reluctantly pushed the remaining pieces of soggy breakfast off her plate and into the trash can before rinsing off the dishes and putting them in the mostly empty sink.

Thankfully, the ache in her head started to fade once she gulped down about 4 glasses of water with a painkiller. When she went upstairs, she didn't bother to knock on Jungkook's door and decided it was best if he came to her first. One, because she doesn't have a single clue as to what happened, and two, she's too embarrassed and like a coward, hides in her office to drown herself in work until their inevitable confrontation.

Just as she expected, an hour into making calls and filing business papers, a knock resounds on the door and she feels her blood pulsing as soon as she greets the person who comes in. Her heart briefly stops when she sees Jungkook and gives him an awkward smile.

"Good morning", she almost whispers, trying to busy herself with the computer and hide the shame she felt for some odd reason, almost like her body remembered but her mind didn't.

"Does your head hurt? Do you need water? Any medicine?", he throws questions left and right, and although it warms her heart to see his concern, she sheepishly hides her face behind the screen.

"I'm fine, I ate breakfast and took a painkiller. Any news from Jimin? I assumed he was working so I didn't say anything to him yet", she smoothly changes the subject, hoping that he doesn't ask about anything that she said or did last night.

Hopefully, he could read the room and see that she didn't want to talk about it. But then again, she thinks that it's cowardly to do such a thing, not take responsibility for her actions and drunken behavior, whatever that entailed. So even though she burned red hot with embarrassment, she had to face this and ease the heavy tension in the room.

"No, I talked with Jimin and-"

"I'm so sorry about last night", she slightly winced, poking her head up to see him staring blankly at her.

"Sorry? Do you remember anything?", he questions, hoping that maybe they could put this past them if she did.

"No", she groans, falling back into her chair with guilt written all over her face, "I don't remember a single thing and I feel like shit. I just know I embarrassed myself last night and it's my fault. I should've controlled myself and not drank so much. I'm old enough to take care of myself and I'm assuming you were the one who had to do that."

With a simple nod, she buries her face in her hands with a loud groan, "I swear Jungkook, I'm not usually like that. Whatever I said or did, I probably didn't mean it and was just goofing off. I tend to get a bit-"

She cuts herself off, feeling her cheeks aflame because she knows that when she's drunk, she gets incredibly shameless and causes trouble.

"God, I'm so sorry Jungkook. I'm sorry you had to take care of me like I was a child", she frowns, angry at herself and most of all, worried about what he thinks of her.

In truth, when people get drunk, there tends to be a lot of truth that comes out. It's not like he was too surprised at the things she was saying because it was known the two were attracted to each other. Still, to see her in such a state and hear those things, it made him feel some type of way knowing that all those thoughts were deep inside of her mind, begging to be let out.

He understood, he could see the regret on her face so even though last night made him feel different, he wasn't uncomfortable because it was her. He didn't mind the things she was saying, that much was evident due to the issue he had in his pants, something he'd never dealt with before due to his lack of interest in people and women in general. He isn't upset and makes an effort to reassure her, hoping she'd be comforted by the gesture.

"It's ok, Runa. I was there to help you and you're safe with me, even if you get crazy, I can handle that. Don't feel bad, although I'd prefer if it didn't happen again", he replies calmly, opposite to her who was having a heart attack.

"Oh god, what did I say? What did I do?"

He presses his lips into a thin line and looks at the ground, making her gasp, "Was it that bad?"

The nod of his head makes her groan again, "You've got to be kidding."

"I wish I was", he replies, looking back at her and he can already see in her eyes what she wants to ask, but before she can open her mouth, he answers.

"It didn't go too far. If it did, you'd know", he takes a glance downward and it only sends her heart into a frenzy, not knowing whether or not she wanted to kiss or kill him for getting her flustered like this.

She was embarrassed enough as it was, he didn't have to make it worse with his teasing. Thank god for the stunning coverage of this foundation, she had to double-check and make sure it still covered her red cheeks so after taking a glance at her phone camera, she set it down and pressed her lips together.

"What happened?"

He raises a brow, "You want to know? I think some things are best left as a mystery."

"I'd never sleep properly if I didn't know. Trust me, something like this would haunt me forever", she replies, determined to get an answer, even though his eyes showed reluctance, which was unusual due to his character.

"It's going to be difficult to come to terms with, especially considering how detailed you got and-"

Immediately she cuts him off with wide eyes of panic, "What the fuck did I say?"

There are a few beats of silence before he speaks, folding his gloved hands together in his lap and remaining as composed as ever, "You said you intentionally didn't wear underwear because you were hoping to tempt me. You made quite a few sexual jokes and even went as far as to push me on the bed, trapping me underneath you while you untied the straps of your dress and let it slide down. Shall I continue?"

Her mouth is agape and she's stunned, but her eyes tell him he has to finish or else she'll pester him to death if he doesn't. So with a wordless response, her expression being enough, he continues traumatizing her with last night's events.

"I was able to tie the dress again, even though you took off my gloves and tried to put my hands between your legs, but I pulled away and after fighting with you, I took off your jewelry and dragged you into the bathroom where you purposefully bent over the counter in a dangerously short dress, again, trying to tempt me and I refused, asking you to open your mouth so I could brush your teeth."

She could already feel the dread, knowing exactly what she would've done, and her prediction was confirmed as he went on.

"I stopped you from getting on your knees and after much hassle, you finished brushing your teeth and washing your face. I know how you are with your routines so I attempted to help you out. Then after that, I was finally able to get you in bed and..."

He paused briefly, causing her to perk up, feeling left on edge, "What? What did I do?"

Her bodyguard contemplates for a moment and sighs while briefly closing his eyes, "You told me that you touched yourself thinking about me."

Her heart plummets to the floor and she starts choking on her spit, immediately waving her hand dismissively as he looks unconvinced at her attempts of denial, "I didn't, I swear that never happened! I was probably just saying that to tempt you", she explains, panicked because it was the truth.

She should've known better than to lie to him because his eyes change, his head cocking to the side in a mocking manner, "Is that so? You're a terrible liar, Runa."

"I'm not lying!", she raises her voice defensively, her heart pounding so loud it felt like it was echoing in the space around them.

"Tell me the truth. Did you?", he muses, and she about loses her shit.

"Don't make me fire you Jeon!", she huffs, making him hum with a teasing raise of his eyebrows, and his behavior had her stunned.

"I've heard that one before. Always threatening me when I tell an embarrassing truth", he clicks his tongue in disappointment, wanting her to admit it because it made him feel good to know the effect he had on her.

"Jeon, I'm warning you right now to stop", she threatens, attempting to end this conversation as quickly as possible so she doesn't feel like she's on fire anymore.

"Never."

A groan leaves her lips, "I never did such a thing! You're just trying to embarrass me!", she argues, distracting herself by typing on her computer aggressively.

It entertains him and makes his heart beat a little faster than it should when he sees her trying to hide her face away from his accusatory gaze, "Doesn't take much to do that, boss."

She grips the mouse so hard you could see the veins popping out from her skin, and she returns his teasing with a heated glare, "If that's all, you can leave now. I have work to do."

"I'm sure you do. I'll keep you company", he plainly states, getting extra comfortable in the chair while she fumes.

"What else happened?", she grits through her teeth, still upset at his teasing and devastated by her drunken behavior.

Seeing as he didn't want to finish the story, meaning concluding it by saying he was aroused by her and the things she said, he cleared his throat with a simple shrug.

"After I threatened you, you finally fell asleep. The end", he replies shortly, and she lets out a long, heavy breath, trying to relax herself and process this so she can move on.

"We never speak of this ever again, understood?", she gives him a pointed look and ignores how her heart thuds from that smugness in his eyes.

"Yes, boss", he says with a sprinkle of sass in his tone, and she clenches her jaw tight, her doe-like eyes narrowing in his direction.

"Good."
