Your world may be falling apart,
You might feel as if as if every step you take,
Guarantees your fall,
Going on may feel like a burden,
With your feelings raining all over you
You may want to stop and give up,
As heavy emotions shine from the clouds,
The once beautiful hopefuls paths,
All barren and empty now,
There's no sign of life,
It feels as if only you're left,
Carrying burden of everyone's opinion,
Of hopes and wishes,
Of dreams that haven't come true yet,
Of trying to save the world,
Of the problems that you face,
And of the past that you're yet to make peace with,
Your tiny shoulders hunch over,
From the responsibilities that you hold,
They beg you to lessen the burden,
And You feel hopeless wishing you could end this,
You wish to be someone else,
Someone a bit more simple,
And so I explain to you,
How could you trying to be someone ever be
more beautiful than the you that you are,
You are original and pure,
Shining with colors that no one else owns,
The only thing you lack is confidence,
And it is the only thing you need to fight opinions thrown at you,
It's okay to be a complicated,
Beautiful things and people are delicate and hard to understand,
Maybe that's why we love them,
Because they seem intriguing,
Because they are hard to understand,
It's been a while since you've been told that someone was proud of you,
I wanna tell you just that,
I am extremely proud of everything you do,
The way you make mistakes,
And then learn from them,
The way you rebel and don't want to conform to the norm,
The way you know exactly what you want and like,
The hard work you do,
And the way you love and care about people,
The way you give yourself hope when you've almost given up,
How you still wake up even if you don't want to,
How you confront your problems,
How you know exactly what to say,
How you know what's the time to do what,
I love how you do things so effortlessly,
The simple things that require effort to everyone,
And so I wish you could see that,
How you have so much impact,
Don't count the things that you weren't able to succeed at,
Only the things you've accomplished matters,
Because as you look at your failure,
I look at your success,
Your hands are full of failure that you hold,
And there's piles of success surrounding you,
In your eyes, your failure seems so large,
Because you look at it closely,
It troubles you mind,
You look at your accomplishments from far away,
They seem too small,
You look at your flaws from too near too,
Enlarging them for yourself,
Worrying about the slightest of mistakes,
Scolding yourself over the minor things you overlooked,
Highlighting your flaws to correct them,
But I want to tell you, that they make you human,
It's okay to be imperfect,
They too make you beautiful,
Do you know why?
Because you never give up and learn from your mistakes,
You are hard working,
You never stop learning or trying to be better,
And because of this,
Because of your heart,
I watch you shine,
The world may sometimes feel dark,
With your feelings thrown all over the place,
But you know not, that in this darkness you shine,
Your true self, that you don't want to hide,
Shines, blinding the fakes of the world,
So worry not my dear,
Lighten your burden and smile,
Your worries are only temporary,
Believe in yourself,
for you can achieve anything and everything you want.
