Locked away in one corner of her heart
Were her hidden feelings
Never meant to be shared

Acting completely different from who she was
Putting on a rude, cold and dark side
Masking all her real emotions
She went outside

Everybody misunderstood her
Judgement was all she got
At first she tried to explain
But all in vain she changed

Now she was someone who was too mysterious, too dark and too hurt
She no longer cared what people thought
But somewhere within she cared about what people felt

Rude enough to push people away
But at the same time she made sure no one was hurt

Emptiness and frustration changed her
She used to be a person who cared a lot
Someone no one could ignore
Someone who was beautiful from within

Into someone who everyone hated
A mystery everyone ignored but was curious about

No one knew what had happened
Within a year a person so sweet
Turned into a person so cold

Her mind was fire while her heart was water
A terrible yet perfect combination

Sitting on a park bench
She sat with her eyes closed
Memories flashing in front of her
A lone tear escaped her eyes

Avoiding all of the flashing memories
She stared at the bright moon above
Admiring its beauty, she smiled
A sudden feeling of emptiness struck

She shook her head
Trying to think something joyful
Instead her mind flashed her happy memories

Unable to hold her tears
She closed her eyes and let them fall
A hand wiped her tears
Sensing presence she opened her eyes

Feeling confused and embarrassed
She stared at the boy in front of her
He looked just as sad
His eyes explaining unsaid stories

She flashed him a small smile
Trying to lighten the environment
He smiled back
His eyes looked empty and yet full of emotions at the same time

A sudden feeling sprang up within her heart
She felt she could trust him
A feeling that he would understand

Looking into her eyes, he held her hand
Turning their heads looking ahead
They started walking slowly...
