I enter the lab an hour late
Receiving horrible stares from classmates
Felt like an alien from another planet

He was there sitting with his bitch
How I wish to hit her hard with my fist!

I banged my bag in front of her
She left without saying a word.

Then he turned and noticed me,
His lab partner whose feelings he failed to see

As the experiment went on,
I notice an itchy feeling in my eyes
Annoyed I, rubbed it hard many times

Adding a concentrated solution instead a dilute one
He yelled at me for this dangerous reaction

Noticing my watery eyes,
he calmed down
I pardoned for my mistake quietly sitting down

Offering his hanky he apologised
Accepting his offer I felt very happy inside

But this joy dint last long time
Because my eyes were watery everytime

The whole day went in vain
With itching and burning pain

Reaching home, mom saw this
She shouted it is 'conjunctivitis'!

Hell yeah,how did this never hit me!
Suddenly, I remembered his hanky.

Wondering what must have happened to him
I felt bad for everything.

A day later, as I entered with my goggles on
Saw him sitting in the corner all alone

Went upto him and was shocked to see
He was wearing glasses just like me

"I am sorry its my fault."I said to him.
"Dont worry,next time I wont give a hanky to a crying lady."He replied smirkingly.

Confused I,gave him a stern look
Laughin he dismissed it as a bad joke

For the first time, we were laughin together
His bitch though dint seem to be bothered

Sad,my feelings never produce any effect
But those eyes had power to infect...
