We laid down on the grass watching the night sky
I was wondering how to reach those stars up high
Suddenly I faced you and you were looking at me
I didn't know why but my heart jumped with glee

Our eyes met and I saw yours shining
It was so brown, so mysterious, yet so charming
I couldn't help but stare at your cute smile
You stood up slowly while I spaced out for awhile

My face turned red and I looked at your hand
You reached it out to me to help me stand
"Hey do you know? The night's so wonderful just like you"
I gasped at what he said cause it was too good to be true

I stood up slowly and smiled at him
I wish this was real and not just a dream
He placed his hand on my waist and whispered softly
"Come on let's dance. I know you've wanted one from me"

Oh gosh! I couldn't stop blushing
What the hell am I doing?
I nodded at him shyly and he placed my hand on his shoulder
His body gave me warmth in a night that couldn't get colder

He swayed me from side to side and sang a sweet song
I closed my eyes hoping that this would last long
The both of us didn't really know how to dance
But I guess we just went with the flow and took the chance

We looked into each others eyes, now with a tint of red on our cheeks
"I love you" said our hearts that silently speaks
In this special day my wish came true
I received the last dance I saved for you
