Las Almas, Mexico
ARZALEA 'SILK' BLACKWOOD

A LOUD CRUNCH CAME from the man in front of me as my knife sunk into the back of his skull. His body crumbled to the floor and I moved quickly to retrieve my weapon before whipping the blood away on his black suit.

"I hate blood," I murmured to myself as I made my way out of the darkroom and headed away from the body before anyone could spot me.

I heard a scoff in my ear and for a moment I forgot everyone could hear me over the coms.

"Don't tell me you faint at the sight of blood, Lass." Soap chuckled.

"No!" I quickly whispered as I took a corner, "I can handle the sight of blood, dummy, I just don't like it. It smells."

"You can smell blood?" Alejandro was the one to speak next.

For a second, I fumble, remembering that these men couldn't smell the things that I could, but before I could fuck up more, Soap swooped in and saved me.

"Can't you, mate? It has a very unique and odd odor. Right Silk?"

"Right." I quickly replied.

I made my way outside the mansion, heading toward the garage as Ghost walked me through where I needed to go.

"The AC-units could get you on top of the garage." Ghost told me, "Move quickly,"

"You know," I started off in a slight teasing tone as I climbed up the side of the garage with ease. "I really think this is a great bonding experience for us, Ghost. Wanna play a game?"

I heard him sigh through my comms, "Focus Sergeant,"

"Oh, come on, don't be a sour puss! We can play, Simon says. You know, you tell me to do something, and I follow through."

"I know how Simon says works,"

I bite my lip as I hurl my knife at a man on the top floor of the garage, trying not to smile as I go to retrieve it. I could hear the others sharing a laugh at my teasing.

"You're such a grump, Ghost."

"You are the most annoying person I have ever heard of."

As I climbed over the ledge of the first floor, I chuckled. "But you have heard of me," I said in a very pour accent as I referenced Captain Jack Sparrow. This earned laughs once again. I even think I heard Ghost chuckle, but I'm not sure.

"You know, there's usually not this much talking while on a mission." Alejandro pipped up followed by a grunt, making me assume he's killing his own bad guys right now.

I make it inside a room and I do a quick scan before walking inside. "Talking helps me focus,"

Alejandro chuckled and went silent after that. I silently leave the room, peeking my head into the hallway before making my way out. I pulled out the gun I found earlier and check the suppressor before entering the living area of the place. I could hear Diego's voice from up ahead and I slowed my steps, crouching down as I rounded a wall.

"If that gunship is still in Las Almas, I want it."

I spotted a man standing in the threshold of where I needed to go, so I quickly shot him down before coming out on a balcony. I stayed low as I walked quickly.

"Found Diego."

"Roger that," Alejandro answered me.

I could still hear Diego talking as I grew closer to the end of the long stretched balcony. I come to a stop outside a set of double wooden doors. Slowly, I pushed the doors open and saw Diego standing in front of what looked like a shrine of some sort. Now I could either do this silently, or fuck with this man. I didn't have time to decide for myself though, because he turned quickly, as if he sensed me.

He eyed me carefully, not recognizing me. "Who are you?"

I took off my mask and I watched as recognition flickered in his eyes. "Ah, Mi amor, come to take me up on my offer?"

My nose wrinkled, "Gross. Look man, I really want you to die right now. So imma make this quick and just—" I lifted my knife and take aim, only to pause as he shouted.

"Wait!"

I sighed impatiently, "What?"

Diego's hand twitched at his side, a movement I act like I don't notice as he began to spout nonsense at me.

"You don't have to do this,"

I quirked a brow, "I don't?"

"No," He shook his head, "You can walk away and we can act like—"

I don't allow him to finish as I throw my knife, watching as it hits him in the shoulder.

"Ahhh, fuck!"

I winced, "The truth hurts. I have to do this."

"Truth?! Perra, It's not truth, it's a fucking knife in my shoulder!"

I scoffed, "Calm down, it's just a small flesh wound." I walked over and yanked the knife from his shoulder.

"Tinkerbell, finish this." Ghost demanded and I rolled my eyes.

"Yes master," I grumbled before looking back down at the disgusting man. "Any last words?"

"I swear I will—"

And I stabbed him.

"Actually, I don't care."

It's silent for a long moment before Alejandro spoke up through the coms.

"Now I understand why Price and Laswell spoke highly of you..."

I shrugged even though no one could see me. I turned as I put back on my mask, coming face to face with one large ass window and I paused. I take that back. Ghost and Soap could see me...I think. Pushing that thought away, I leaned over Diego's body and search his pockets. I find the keycard and place it in my own pocket.

"Got the Keycard,"

"Good work. RV at the elevator or meet on the first floor. Just stay quiet." Alejandro said.

I scoffed, pulling out my pistol to check my bullets, "I'm always quiet,"

There's a snort that comes over the coms, and I swear I think it was Ghost. Though, I don't have time to comment on it as my ears pick up the faint chatter of men and their footsteps as they rush upstairs. Oh shit. I make quick haste and hide behind the sofa in the room, eyes narrowing as lights come from the open doorway.

Two men step inside the room with me, flashlights on their weapons as they scan the room. With lighting speed, making my form look like a blur, I take them out with my knife. Thankfully, this was away from the windows so no one saw.

I quickly leave the room as I heard more voices growing closer.

"Tink. Status update."

"Currently on the move, heading back to the balcony,"

I go back out the way I came, coming back to the balcony.

"Got a visual on you, Tink, there's a trellis outside you can take to the roof." Ghost informed me.

I crouched down and walked along the balcony, "What about Diego's keycard?"

"Your call,"

"Wow," I said back as I made my way into a room and lightly jogged out, heading in the direction I knew the elevator was in. "Never thought I'd see the day you'd let me make a decision for myself, Lt."

Ghost grunted, "Got to keep you on your toes somehow,"

I smiled to myself as Alejandro suddenly appeared and joined me in the elevator. I hit the third floor button and looked over at the man.

"Ready?"

He pulled out his gun and checked it over before nodding, "Always," He looked down at me. "For years Sin Nombre corrupted this city. Gave its name to demons. Tonight we take it back."

I nodded my head, cocking my pistol. "Hacer o morir," do or die.

Soon we exit the elevator and check the halls before making our way to the door at the end. Alejandro knocked and a voice flowed through the other side. He motioned for me to be quiet before answering the voice back.

"C-4. I have the next visitor for the boss."

It's silent for a moment before the door opened and Alejandro is quick to knock out the guy on the other side. As Alejandro deals with the man, I make a quick sweep of the room as I near a large door tucked away at the side of the room. This must be where Sin Nombre is. I casted a look at Alejandro and nodded.

I could hear someone talking on the other side and I paused when I recognized it. No fucking way. My eyes widen and I took position in front of the door, Alejandro mirroring my stance. I listened to the person talk as Alejandro noticed the look in my eyes behind my mask.

"What is it?" He whispered.

"I know who Sin Nombre is..."

Alejandro opened his mouth to question me, but I signaled for him to be quiet as I listened through the door. I had to be sure.

"The shipment from Spain arrived on schedule. I can assure you my men will conclude the arrangement and the packages will be in place." Valeria's voice sounded.

"Sin Nombre, are you ready for another visitor?" Another voice addressed her.

Ding, ding, ding. We have a motherfucking winner. Can't say I'm really surprised its her. I mean the woman was pretty bad ass I could tell from the moment I met her these men around here feared her. Now I just feel dumb for not knowing sooner.

"I can't fuckin' believe it," I whispered, locking eyes with Alejandro who looked seriously confused through his mask.

"What is it?"

"The Sicaria I met downstairs. Valeria – she's El Sin Nombre..."

Alejandro furrowed his brow, a fleeting moment of recognition flashing in his brown eyes as he stared back at me. "Valeria...are you sure, hermosa?"

I nodded quickly, "I heard her. The men in that room addressed her as Sin Nombre. I'm sure."

Alejandro stared at me a moment longer, probably wondering how the fuck I heard anything through that thick ass door before he nodded, trusting me. I felt good, knowing he trusted me enough to take my word for it.

"We have to move," Alejandro said as he moved to stand up, "Graves, Sin Nombre is posing as a female Sicaria. We're moving in. You set?"

"Check,"

"Ghost?"

"Ready."

Alejandro looked at me and I couldn't help but notice the shift in his attitude. Something was wrong, yet I couldn't place what. "Take her alive,"

I gave him a nod and pulled out my pistol, showing him I was ready. Alejandro doesn't waste another second before kicking down the door and firing. I move inside quickly by his side, my eyes locking on Valeria who quickly dips out the back.

"Cover me!" I shouted, shooting a man to my left before I took off after her.

I scaled over the table in the room, rolling on the floor as I ran toward the door. A man tried to block my path, but I took him down with a single shot before continuing my chase after Valeria. I could hear Alejandro behind me as I ran through the rooms, following her trail she left behind as it led me up some stairs and to the roof.

I spotted her only as soon as I hit the rooftop and I moved quickly, tackling the woman to the floor. She let out a grunt of surprise and rolled with me. We struggled for a moment before I came out on top and pinned her down. A bright light is suddenly shone down on us and I heard the blades of a helo above as I glared down at Valeria.

"Fuck you! let me go!" She curses, struggling under me.

"Nice catch, sweetheart." I hear Graves voice echo over the radio of the helo.

I ignored his little pet name and sneer down at Valeria. "Nice to see you again, Val."

For a moment, her struggles grow weaker and her eyes widened before a wicked smirk filled her lips. "Ah, I recognize that voice. Little Bambi. I knew there was more that meets the eye with you. Can't say I'm surprised."

"Likewise El Nombre."

Soon, Graves and Alejandro join me and help me get Valeria tided up.

"Hiding in plain sight," I said as I finished tying her wrists together.

She scoffed, "Hiding? I'm everywhere, soldier."

Graves smirked, looking at me before looking back at Valeria. "That's good. So are we. Let's go." He ordered, and I stepped back, allowing one of his Shadow members to take over and escort the woman onto the helo.

Valeria casted one last look over her shoulder, her eyes set on Alejandro before she was forced onto the aircraft. I glanced at my friend, also catching him glaring right back at her. I was picking up some real strong vibes here and they weren't the good kind.

"You okay?" I asked Alejandro.

He seemed to snap out of whatever little daze he was in, because he quickly looked down at me and gave a short nod. "Valeria...I know her." He didn't go into detail with that. He just walked away and stepped onto the helo.

I watched him go before Graves called for me and I was quick to board myself.
