50.0 The One Where He Comes Home
Elizabeth Jensen sat at the breakfast table with her parents and brother on Christmas Eve. "Clay, honey- um- you sure you don't want to come with us to the facility today?" Lainie Jensen questioned her son. "Might be fun."
"When is anything called a facility ever fun?" Clay Jensen asked as he stabbed his fork into his pile of scrambled eggs.
Elizabeth sent her brother a smile. "I know that Justin would really like to see you. He keeps telling me how he misses you a ton." Justin Foley had spent the last month in a rehab facility, trying to become drug free. He was coming home later that day.
"I'll see him at home." Clay shrugged. "At the party."
Lainie looked down at her plate, clearing her throat. "Clay, your- um- first-semester grades came in yesterday."
Clay furrowed his eyebrows, looking up at his mother. "How do you have my grades."
"The school email." She explained. "As always."
"Oh." Clayed nodded, letting out a deep sigh. Elizabeth took a sip from her drink. "Right. I didn't-" He looked up at his mother. "I didn't do too well on my finals."
"Which is understandable." Matt Jensen smiled.
"We're going to talk to the school." Lainie continued.
Clay's eyes widened. "No!"
"We're going to talk to them about some allowances for what you've been through," Lainie let out a sigh, "but, Clay, you need to be thinking about college." Clay looked down at his food. "Have you finished your apps? We just want you to feel like you can come to us for anything, but if you don't feel like you can come to us for anything then I think we need to start thinking about starting up again with Dr. Ellman."
Elizabeth noticed her brother's panicked look and put her hand on his, asking, "You okay, du-"
She was cut off by her father dropping a dish as he started to wash some plates. "Shit!" He exclaimed before turning towards his family. "Sorry."
Lainie leaned closer towards her son. "So, Clay, what do you think?"
"A-About what?" Clay stuttered.
"About seeing Dr. Ellman again." Elizabeth answered for her mother.
Clay closed his eyes and shook his head. "Um- I don't know." He picked up his plate of food, which hehad barely touched and stood up from his seat.

Elizabeth and her parents sat in the waiting room of the rehab facility Justin had been at for the past month. She saw him being walked out by a nurse and smiled. She stood up and ran over to him, wrapping her arms around him. "I missed you so fucking much."
Justin let out a chuckle as he hugged her back and kissed her forehead. "You saw me yesterday, baby."
The girl pulled away from the hug and looked up at him. "Visiting you in rehab doesn't really count." She giggled and turned to see her parents filling out the paperwork that they needed to bring Justin home.
"No Clay?" Justin asked as he looked around the waiting room.
"No." Elizabeth shook her head. "I told him that you really wanted to see him, but he just said, 'I'll see him at home at the party'." Elizabeth grumbled her best Clay impersonation.
"Party?"
She covered her mouth as her eyes widened. "Fuck, I ruined the fucking surprise."
"That's okay." Justin smiled. "I'm just happy to see you."
The four Jensens left the rehab center and drove to their house. They made their way into the shed. "We're here!" Lainie stated as she hung her coat up.
Everyone stood up and began to applaud Justin as he entered. Matt came in behind the rest, carrying six boxes of pizza. Elizabeth looked up at her boyfriend and smiled. "Welcome home, baby." Justin pressed his lips against Elizabeth's cheek.
Clay approached the duo. "Hey- uh- Welcome home." He let out a chuckle.
"Thanks." Justin stated, looking around at all of his friends. He wrapped his arms around Clay, who hugged him back.
"Hope you kids brought your appetites." Matt laughed as he set all of the pizzas down on the table. "Dig in!" He began to open all of the boxes.

At the end of the party, Charlie St. George had taken Tyler Down home, and the rest of the teenagers still sat in the shed, listening to Ani and Clay tell them how the police had called in Tyler to talk about Spring Fling. "So, that's why we had Charlie take Tyler home. I don't think we have much to worry about. Honestly."
"How do we know he told you the truth about what happened in there with the cops?" Tony Padilla questioned as he sat down on the table.
"Why would he fucking lie, Tony?" Elizabeth snapped.
"To save himself." Jessica Davis shrugged.
Isabel Henry furrowed her eyebrows. "I know that I'm like pretty new to this whole situation, but I don't really think Tyler would lie about it." As Jessica and Isabel became closer, Jessica told her everything about Bryce because she needed someone who she could talk to. She felt as if she could tell Isabel everything.
Charlie came walking back into the shed. "Yeah, so I got him home safe. He seemed pretty calm."
"How the fuck is he calm?" Tony rolled his eyes.
"Tyler doesn't want the truth to come out any more than we do." Ani spoke from Clay's bed. "He did the best he could with the cops. All things considered."
Tony sighed. "Okay, let's say he is telling the truth. Just because he thinks he fooled the cops, doesn't mean he actually did. What if they're watching him now."
"What if they're watching all of us?" Jessica stated.
"Yeah, that's what I don't get." Charlie spoke as he leaned on the table. "Even if the cops didn't believe Tyler's excuse about the guns, how does that lead them to us or anything about Bryce?"
"Tyler knows about Bryce." Tony explained. "Tyler's in trouble for the guns. Tyler turns all of us in to save himself."
Elizabeth shook her head. "He would never do that."
"Are you sure?" Jessica cocked an eyebrow.
Charlie sighed. "Tyler's the one who called Clay when he needed help. I think we can trust him."
"Thanks, cookie, but it's not the fucking simple." Jessica snapped at Charlie. "Some of us are accessories after the fact to murder."
"Hey, I planted evidence." Charlie raised his eyebrows. "I'm an accessory. We all are."
"Not me." Alex finally spoke up from his seat at the table.
There was a moment of silence before Elizabeth spoke up. "Alex, you know that Tyler would never want to hurt you, right? Or any of us."
"With all due respect, you don't know him well enough to say that." Tony stated, not looking up at Elizabeth.
Elizabeth furrowed her eyebrows. "Uh- what did you just fucking say to me? I know Tyler pretty well, Tony. I know him well enough to be able to say that he fucking cares a shit ton about his friends." Justin placed his hand on Elizabeth's thigh, trying to calm her down.
Alex nodded. "I believe Tyler."
"So, does that mean that we do nothing?" Jessica questioned, crossing her legs.
"There's nothing we can do." Zach had been silent that whole time, laying on the couch. He looked up at all of his friends. "So, I say fuck it. Just let it play out." He inhaled deeply. "It's out of our hands."
Jessica let out a sigh. "Jesus, Zach, dry out." He flipped her off.
"Alex, you could talk to your dad." Tony turned towards Alex. "Get a feel for whether or not the cops actually bought Tyler's story."
"I could try." Alex shrugged. "But-"
"Guys, stop." Clay cut off his friends. "We can't suddenly just be going around asking questions."
"Clay's right." Ani nodded. "We have to act normal."
"Everyone just needs to stay calm," Clay explained, "keep their shit together, and do not do anything stupid, okay?" Everyone nodded. "Look, Ani and I, we'll hand this."

When Isabel and Jessica decided to leave the party, they just went next door to Isabel's and up to her room. Isabel had decided that morning that she was finally going to make a move, because she was positive Jessica felt the same way about her. They sat on Isabel's bed. The office was playing in the background, but Isabel was not watching it. She could not help but stare at how gorgeous Jessica Davis was. Jessica turned to look at her, and her eyes widened. "Do I have something on my face?" Jessica giggled.
"No." Isabel smiled, shaking her head, softly. "I just think that you're really fucking beautiful."
"Shit, thanks." Jessica began to feel her cheeks heat up. Isabel opened her mouth, but no sound came out. She quickly closed it, and looked down. "What's up, Isa?"
"Uh-" Isabel let out a sigh as she looked back up at the girl sitting next to her. "Would it be alright if I kissed you?"
"Are you kidding?" Jessica smiled, nodding her head. "I've waited over a month for you to do that." Isabel giggled before leaning in and kissing the girl.

Next door, Elizabeth and Justin were laying on her bed in her room. Elizabeth had her head on his chest, and Justin had his arms wrapped around her. "I love you." Justin smiled as he looked up at the ceiling. He had missed moments like these with Elizabeth more than anything.
"I love you, too." Elizabeth looked up at him. "More than anything." Justin looked down at his girlfriend and smiled. She was so beautiful. Everything about her was absolutely perfect. "I'm so happy that you're home." She sat up and looked back at him.
"Me too." Justin nodded, bring himself up, as well. "I'm so happy that I can finally do this." He pressed his lips against Elizabeth and gripped her waist. Elizabeth smiled into the kiss as her hands went into his hair. Justin pulled Elizabeth onto his lap so she was straddling his waist.
He pulled away to just take in his girlfriend once again. "What?" She giggled, resting her arms around his neck.
"Just admiring my beautiful girlfriend."
