Post Death
Pre Death

Jessica Davis laughed as she sat with Ani Achola and Elizabeth Jensen at a table in Monet's. "Oh my god. I've never felt that way about sex before. Have either of you?" Elizabeth nodded as she glanced over at her boyfriend, Justin Foley, who was watching the trio as he worked on his first day on the job. "Like you have complete control over your body."

"It's just different when you're by yourself." Ani stated with a smile on her face. "You don't have to worry about making some embarrassing face."

"Or if your boobs are doing something crazy." Elizabeth stated, sharing a glance with Ani. She wished that it was just her and Jessica, but this was the first time that Elizabeth began to like Ani. She was glad that someone was there for Jessica when she needed it. It made her sad that it was not herself, but Ani was helped Jessica and that is all that mattered.

Jessica nodded before her smile faded. "Except, there was this one part that kinda felt a little weird." She began to play with her fingernails. Both Elizabeth and Ani leaned in, wanting to comfort their friend. "I started thinking of someone that I shouldn't have." Jessica glanced up at Elizabeth. "I had never felt anything like this before, and it just felt weird."

"Hey, whatever. It's just a fantasy, right?" Ani took as hold of Jessica's hands as she spoke. "It doesn't mean anything."

"I mean, I think it's like a part of the whole thing. Like rewriting my story."

"Yeah." Elizabeth smiled at her friend. "But, whatever things you thought of, it doesn't change who you are." Jessica glanced down at the ground. "And, who you are is fucking amazing."

Elizabeth watched a ladybug walking on ground as she sat on her front steps, waiting for her boyfriend to get back from his first day at work. Ladybugs had always been Elizabeth's favorite bug because they were a sign of good fortune. She saw a ladybug on the night that Justin took her to their first dance together, and it has turned out pretty good so far.

Justin came driving up, parking in the Jensen House driveway. Elizabeth smiled as she stood up and walked over to him. She wrapped her arms around him, engulfing him in a hug. "How was your first day?" She asked him as her cheek landed against his chest.

Justin's arms loosely wrapped around Elizabeth's waist. "It was great. I learned that I am a killer latte maker."

"I don't doubt that."

Elizabeth pulled away from the hug and grabbed onto his hand. She planted a kiss on his knuckles. "You're being very lovey tonight." Justin chuckled as he began to walk towards his and Clay's shared shed.

"What's wrong with being lovey?" Elizabeth questioned him. "I love you, don't I?"

"Yes, you do." Justin stopped at the door and turned to Elizabeth. He pressed a kiss on her cheek. "And I love you more."

Elizabeth frowned and looked up at him. "That can't be possible because I love you this much." She opened her arms as wide as they could go, showing how much she loved him. "And, really it's more than that, I just have tiny arms."

"You're so fucking adorable right now." Justin opened the door to the shed, letting Elizabeth go in before him. The pair made their way inside, and Justin went straight to the fridge, grabbing a piece of pizza from inside. He noticed Clay wearing a blue button down shirt and sat down on the table. "How come you're all dressed up?"

"Because I have a date."

Elizabeth's eyes widened as she sat on Justin's bed. "Excuse me? You have a date?"

"Well, kind of a date." Clay shrugged before continuing. "I mean, I'm hanging out with Ani at night some place."

"Ani's going on a date with you?" Elizabeth's eyes widened ever farther, not comprehending the situation. "She's totally out of your league."

Justin laughed. "Shit. You asked her out."

"Kinda. It was kind of hard to tell." Clay nodded. "I asked her if she wanted to eat dinner with me, and she said yes."

"Okay, yeah that counts." Justin set his piece of pizza down on a plate and wiped his hands together, getting ready to give Clay some well needed advice. "So, don't talk too much, because you tend to get nervous and then just talk."

"Justin's right. You do that."

"Don't talk about other girls." Justin continued only to be cut off by his girlfriend once again.

"Yup. Don't do that."

"And, if she wants to have sex with you in the Prius, I would just say, think about it first."

"Okay, well, I don't really think Clay has to worry about losing his virginity tonight." Elizabeth walked over to Justin, lightly bumping him with her shoulder. "I'm not even sure that this is a real date."

Justin glanced down at Elizabeth and shook his head. "Babe, you're really not helping."

"Wait, if she wants to what?" Clay was still confused about Justin talking about Clay having sex in the prius.

Justin's phone buzzed, and he pulled it out of his back pocket. His mood dropped as soon as he looked at the text. "What the fuck?"

"What is it?" Elizabeth asked him, trying to look at his phone, but he moved so she couldn't see it.

Justin began typing. "Just something I gotta deal with." He set his phone down and looked at Elizabeth. "Where the fuck is The Village Motel?"

"We have Tyler tonight." Elizabeth frowned.

"Yeah, don't worry. I'll be back in time to get pick him up." Justin looked back over at Clay and smiled. "Just go have fun." It was obvious that Clay was concerned about whoever had texted Justin. "Go." Clay nodded, exiting the shed.

The Foley boy stood up from the table, taking his shirt off. He walked over to his messy pile of clothes. "What is it?"

Justin looked back at his girlfriend and shook his head. "It's nothing you have to worry about, okay?" He spoke as he picked up a shirt and threw it on his body. "I just have to deal with something really quick, okay?" He pressed a kiss on Elizabeth's forehead before leaving her alone in the shed.

Bryce had texted Justin, asking him to meet him at a motel. Justin wanted to not go, but something inside him made him. He found Bryce at the pool, drinking beers. "What the fuck is this place?"

Bryce looked up, setting his can of beer on the table. "Mom won't let me drink at home anymore."

"What do you want?" Justin asked him, not wanting to be there any longer than he had to be.

"Sit down, grab a beer." Bryce smiled as he patted the chair next to him.

Justin shook his head. "You said it was important. You said it was about Eliza."

"It is about Eliza." Bryce picked up his can of beer again, and took a small sip. "It's about us. It's about a lot of shit." He patted the seat once again. "Sit."

"No. Fuck you. What about Eliza?"

Bryce looked down at his hands. "I just know that you've done a lot of bad shit to her."

"I've done bad shit to her? You raped her best friend."

"I just meant that you've kind of treated her like crap." Justin crossed his arms over his chest. "I just want to make sure that you're treating her right."

"Oh, am I supposed to take dating advice from a rapist now?"

Bryce shook his head. "No. It's just- She's just-" He stopped, looking down at the ground. "She seems like a great girl. She reminds me a lot of Chloe, and girls like that shouldn't be treated how you've treated her."

"You raped Chloe."

"Alright, but I just think-"

"No, okay. I'm not dealing with this right now." Justin brushed his fingers through his hair. "You've lied to me my entire life. I'm not believing anything that you say ever again."

"I've never lied to you." Bryce shook his head.

"You have though; every time you called me brother."

Bryce sighed before taking another sip of his beer. "My dad left. Did you know that? My mom can't stand to be around me. Chloe dumped me. Hillcrest is a fucking nightmare."

Justin stepped closer towards Bryce as he began speaking. "Am I supposed to feel sorry for you? You want me to give you my fucking list?"

Bryce shrugged his shoulders. "You have a family."

"Hey, I've never had a family."

"I was your family for a while. I'd do anything to get that back."

Justin scoffed as he moved backwards. "Is that what we're doing here? You give me a couple beers, and I'm your brother again? Just like old times?"

"I fucked up, okay?" He moved his gaze to the pool. "With you. With Jess. With everybody."

"Yeah. You did." Just scratched his forehead. "And I let you do it, and I- I let you keep doing it. And you and I," Justin pointed to Bryce and himself, "we're just gonna have to keep living with that."

Justin started to walk about of the pool area when Bryce's sudden words stopped him. "I know about spring fling."

The boy stopped and slowly turned around to face Bryce. "What the fuck are you talking about?"

"I know what Tyler tried to do, and I know you guys covered it up." Justin sighed before sitting down next to Bryce. "I saw you and Eliza run out of the gym that night, so I looked out the side door. I saw everything." Justin awkwardly changed his position as he listened to Bryce speak. "The cops pulled me in, because, you know, I'm the rapist. But I kept my fucking mouth shut. I didn't say a word, and I'm not going to."

Justin shook his head slowly. "So, what do you want?"

"I don't want anything from you." Bryce stayed.

"Then why'd you text me?" Justin was getting more and more agitated. Bryce did not answer his question, so Justin leaned closer towards him. "Listen, don't talk to me again. Stay away from Eliza. Stay away from her fucking neighborhood, wherever she might be," Justin stood up, pointing his finger in Bryce's face, "or I will fucking kill you."

When Justin made his way back to the Jensen household, he realized it was later than he thought it was. "Fuck." He muttered before walking towards the shed. He sighed as he opened the door to show Elizabeth and Tyler sitting on Clay and Justin's beds.

"Well, look who finally decided to show the fuck up."

"Eliza, I'm sorry."

She stood up from his bed, walking towards him, grabbing his hand and leading him outside. "Tyler is supposed to be our number one priority right now." She looked down at the ground. "I don't know who the fuck texted you, and you obviously don't want me to know who it was, but they should not be more important than Tyler."

"I know that."

"Then where the fuck where you, Justin?" Justin glanced at the window to the shed and saw Tyler watching them, concerned about why Elizabeth was so upset. Elizabeth scoffed when Justin did not answer her. "Yeah, okay. Well, Tyler's mom had just texted him telling her she was on her way, so you got out of babysitting for the whole night."

Tyler's mother drove up to the Jensen Household. "I'll go get him."

Justin started to walk back towards the shed, but Elizabeth stopped him. "Stop acting like you actually give a shit." She walked past him, into the shed.

Justin watched as his girlfriend left the shed with Tyler. "Bye, Justin." Tyler smiled at Justin. Justin waved in response. He walked into the shed, hoping his girlfriend would follow him in so they could talk more. She did not.

The next day, Elizabeth had decided to visit Jessica at work, because she wanted to bring her some McDonald's for lunch. She saw her ordering around Charlie, and laughed. Charlie hurried off to clean the theaters, leaving Jessica and Elizabeth alone in the lobby. "Hey, dude." Jessica smiled at her as she began to refill the straws. Elizabeth held out the McDonald's bag. "You didn't!"

"Oh, I so did." Elizabeth smirked as she handed Jessica the bag. "Anything exciting happen here today?"

"Nothing yet-" Jessica stopped as the two heard the door open. They turned to see Bryce Walker entering the lobby.

"Hey."

"What the fuck do you want?" Elizabeth spat as Jessica turned to start wiping down the counter.

Bryce looked down at his feet. "I wanted to say that I know I hurt people; that I fucked up a lot of people's lives."

Jessica continued to ignore him as Elizabeth crossed her arms over her chest. "Mhmmm." She nodded.

"And I wanted to apologize."

"Oh, you did?" Jessica finally broke her own silence. "That's nice."

Bryce stepped closer towards them, and both took a step back. "I talked to Justin, to apologize to him, and he just said that if I come anywhere near your neighborhood, Eliza, that he'll kill me." Elizabeth scoffed at him. "So, I'm literally risking my life by being here right now."

Jessica turned towards him for the first time. "Then I guess you'd better go."

Bryce nodded before starting to walk away, but he stopped and turned back to them. "I don't know what you want me to fucking do or say, but I am sorry. And I will be sorry until the day I die for what happened at your party and for everything that happened after that."

"What happened is that you raped me when I was unconscious and lied about it to everybody."

"Jess, I'm not that person anymore."

Jessica shook her head. "I don't believe that, and I don't think you do either." She paused for a moment before speaking again. "I don't need an apology from you. I realized that I don't need a goddamn thing from you. Why don't you work on what you need."

Jessica walked away, and Elizabeth frowned. "I don't work here, but I will throw you out if you don't leave right now." Elizabeth watched as Bryce left the movie theater.

*

Elizabeth Jensen rushed into Justin Foley and Clay Jensen's bedroom. She saw Justin sitting on his bed reading a book. "Hey, babe." He put the book on his nightstand. "I'm really sorry about last-"

"You threatened Bryce?"

"Fuck me." Justin rolled his eyes. "I just don't want him to hurt you or anyone ever again." He stood up and walked closer towards her.

"I can take care of myself." Elizabeth frowned at him.

"I know. That's part of the reason I love you so much." Justin moved a piece of hair behind her head. "But he's the one I don't trust, not you."

Elizabeth scoffed. "Thanks for doing it, but I don't want you doing it again."

"Okay." Justin nodded and smiled. He pressed his lips against her cheek. "I love you so much, baby."

"I love you too, Justin."

*

Elizabeth giggled as she lightly pushed Justin against her bed and walked up to him, straddling his waist. "Fuck, you're so beautiful." Justin smiled as he sat up, pressing him lips against her neck. Elizabeth's eyebrows furrowed as she noticed a moving truck parked outside her neighbor's house. She pulled herself off of him and moved to her window. "What, babe?"

"Did you know that someone was moving in next door?"

"Yeah, I think I remember your mom saying something about that."

"No one tells me anything in this house." Elizabeth groaned as she rushed past her boyfriend and ran down the stairs.

Justin trailed behind her, calling out, "Eliza, wait."

Elizabeth walked into her kitchen and saw her mom sitting at the kitchen table. "Were you ever going to tell me that we were getting new neighbors?" She crossed her arms over her chest. Justin showed up beside her, not daring to enter her conversation with her mother.

"We're getting new neighbors." Lainie smiled as she took a sip of her lemonade. The girl rolled her eyes. "Eliza, that house has been vacant for three years now. Someone had to move in eventually."

"I don't care." Elizabeth shook her head. "I'm mad that no one bothered to tell me."

"I'm sorry." Lainie shrugged. "They have a daughter your age."

"Shit, they do?" Elizabeth smiled before running out of the house. Justin groaned before following his girlfriend.

Elizabeth stopped when she saw a blonde girl getting out of a van. The girl noticed Elizabeth as well, and waved to her. "Hi, I'm Eliza."

"Isabel."
