Chapter 9: The Bank, Part 2

Note: This takes place in Arrow's season three, episode 20, where Felicity slept with him and he had to become Al Sah-him. Warning: Contains spoilers for Arrow, season 3 finale.

...

Lisa didn't know what to do. One the one hand, they needed money. One the other hand, every reason imaginable.

Should she, Len, and Mick rob a bank, or not?

In the end, they needed money. That is one simple, key fact.

...

Barry was still moping. Yesterday had been Lisa. So, since today was Saturday, he decided to just lay around.

Then, of course, Cisco called.

...

Lisa was really nervous. What if Barry revealed her secret to Lenny?

She hoped he wouldn't show.

No. She PRAYED he wouldn't show.

No one ever listened to her prayers.

...

"Barry," Cisco said simply and hung up.

Barry quickly ran over to STAR Labs.

...

Cisco had listened to the last heist footage and decided he wasn't about to let Barry ignore a bank robbery, especially one by Snart.

...

"So, what am I gonna be facing?" Barry asked as he walked in. Cisco knew he couldn't tell Barry it was Snart, but he really didn't want to lie, so he would just not tell him everything. That would work.

"Well, it's not a Meta, but that's all I know. Your gonna go in mostly blind, and since it's not a Meta, I'm gonna get some Big Belly Burger. You shouldn't need me, right?" Barry nodded and ran off. Cisco breathed a sigh of relief. Surprisingly, lying to Barry really wasn't as hard as he had thought it would be.

...

Barry ran inside the bank. He looked around, but he didn't see anyone. Where was the guy (or girl, Barry wasn't sexist) he was supposed to be fighting?

Suddenly, Mick rushed toward him. Before Barry realized what he was doing, he had Mick pinned against the wall. Mick, being a little shit, smirked at him.

Barry was super annoyed, so he ran back to STAR Labs before he did something he would regret.

...

Barry slumped. What was he supposed to do? Lisa had rejected him, Len had rejected him, heck, probably anyone would reject him right now.

So, of course, he wanted to test that theory.

...

Oliver felt like crap.

Felicity! He had had to leave Felicity! To die! He had to be a jerk to her for the last time he would ever see her!

He took another sip of his beer. He had learned never to get drunk from the island, but this was a special case. He quickly chugged the rest of his beer.

And the next one.

And the next one.

Soon, he was way past sober.

...

Barry didn't know what to do.

So, he did the first thing he thought of: Ask Oliver.

That turned out to be a big mistake.

...

Barry ran to Oliver's place. Nothing.

He ran to the bunker. Nothing.

He ran upstairs. Bingo.

"Ollie?" Barry said when he somehow found Oliver in the crowded bar. What was Oliver doing in a bar?

Oliver looked up. Barry immediately noticed the half-lidded expression on Oliver's face. Damnit.

"Hey Ollie," Barry greeted. Oliver smiled. "Hi, Barry! Wanna see something?" Barry debated this. On the one hand, it was probably a bad idea. On the other hand...

"Sure."

He immediately regretted it as Oliver pulled his pants down enough for Barry to see he wasn't wearing underwear. And see what the underwear was supposed to cover. Barry swallowed. He was gay. He couldn't help it.

"I'll show you more at my place," Ollie whispered as Barry hauled him to his feet, and his pants were still unzipped.

Barry almost dropped him.

...

As soon as they were out of the bar, he ran Oliver over to his place since he didn't know where Oliver lived.

He regretted it almost immediately, as Oliver was starting to get handsy, and Barry couldn't help himself. He was a gay man with a very hot man in his arms, who was also the Green Arrow, and rich, and Oliver was handsy. He was starting to wonder what else those hands could do...

When he set Oliver on the couch, Oliver pulled him with brute strength (which was super hot) down on top of him and kissed him. Barry didn't have enough self-control to pull away, so he decided to just kiss back instead of resisting.

Oliver took this as submission, and he started to pull his pants down. Barry literally started to drool.

...

Ugh. Whhhhhhyyyyyyy did hangovers hurt so much? WHY!?!?!

And why was there a warm body next to him, that was very obviously male? Oliver wasn't gay, so why?

He looked over to see a very tall figure tucked into him. Then he remembered last night. Last night was enough to make him gay...

Wait. Who was this guy? Did he want money? Did he just want a one-night-stand?

Then he saw the face.

He almost gasped.

There, laying next to him, was Barry. What the hell had happened to him last night? To Barry?

How could he tell Barry to get lost nicely?

...

Barry woke to a warm body next to him. He opened his eyes and looked up to see Oliver's frowning face. Oh, no. Not again. Please.

"Barry-" Oliver started and Barry felt tears in his eyes. "Ollie, please don't. I get it. You're not gay, you were drunk, etc. Please, spare me the speech. You didn't mean for this to happen. You didn't want it to. So, I'll just get out of your hair." Barry closed his eyes, but it was like he could hear Oliver nodding.

Barry nodded. No one actually wanted him. Even his friend. Ouch.

He ran out before Oliver could say something to help. He wanted to be wanted, not rejected.
