Chapter 30: Moving On

Note: Remember, because of Flashpoint, this is back right after Barry broke Oliver's heart.

...

Kara looked around. She figured that this would be the perfect timing. Everyone was so busy looking for Barry, they wouldn't notice her sneak back to her Earth.

She grabbed her Cisco-made device and disappeared back to her Earth.

...

Oliver felt like crap. He hadn't been able to get into contact with Barry, and he had tried to visit him, but Caitlin had quickly stopped him. He didn't know how a doctor could stop The Green Arrow, but she had.

So, he tried to move on, but he couldn't. And he wasn't having trouble moving on from Barry.

He still had feelings for Felicity, and he didn't think she was interested, so he didn't even try.

Then, one day changed everything.

...

The trip was always exciting. She saw the future, the past, and the present all at once. It was very    revealing.

And, sometimes saddening. She usually watched some bittersweet moments upon Krypton, watched her time in The Phantom Zone, and watched her planet explode. Not to mention he last moment with her mother.

It was heartbreaking.

But when she got home, all of the last month were forgotten as she was embraced into her sister's arms.

...

Oliver looked around. Why wasn't anyone here? Then he remembered. It was Felicity's birthday, and he hadn't been invited.

Ouch.

Now that was a blow to the ego.

He realized that he was going to have to go-a Green Arrowing alone tonight.

Sigh.

He quickly got into the Green Arrow suit and grabbed his bow.

He missed the chatter. When anyone was there, it wasn't even close to quiet. Whether they were bumping into furniture, or just talking aimlessly, it was never this quiet.

He knew he was lying to himself. He didn't miss the noise; he missed her. Her smile, her laugh, hell, even her babbling.

Nope. Scratch that. He didn't miss her babbling.

He really was smitten.

Sigh.

Damnit.

...

Felicity looked again. She had the microphones on, and the cameras, but she didn't believe it. She had wanted to spy on Oliver, but she didn't think it would reveal this much.

Since when did Oliver have feelings for her?

She decided to explore this possibility by surprising Oliver at the lair. After all, she owed it to herself.

...

Felicity walked down the stairs, and she could hear sniffling. She looked around the corner, and she saw Oliver with tears sliding down his cheeks. "Felicity," he cried softly. "Barry. Isabel. Laurel. Sara. Shadow. Why does it never work out?" he whispered.

Suddenly, he flinched, wiped away his tears, flipped his hood up, put on his mask, and grabbed his bow. He did it all in less then five minutes. Felicity found it shocking. (And a turn-on) That took some serious skill.

"Hello?" he called, obviously having heard her. She didn't know how, considering the fact that she hadn't moved, but he still had. "Please leave," he begged, and Felicity could hear his voice break. "I really don't want to do this now."

She was trying to decide if she should leave or not when she heard a cackle come from, wait, above her? She looked up, and was relived to see that the mysterious voice was not direct above her. Thank God. Maybe he didn't even know she was here...

"I can easily grab your little girlfriend if you don't do as I say," the mysterious person said, but Felicity guessed that it was a male. So, obviously he did know she was here...

Or did he?

Felicity wasn't about to find out.

...

Oliver couldn't believe it. He thought he and Felicity were close enough that he could go to her damn birthday party! He wished that he wasn't alone right now.

But he didn't want to be pitied. He didn't think he could handle it right now.

So, he just sat there, thinking about all of the opportunities he'd had to tell her.

And how he hadn't.

What was wrong with him?

Felicity would tell him to get over it, move on, and why haven't you done that already?

He chuckled. She had a weird way of showing she cared. Sweet, but weird way.

Suddenly, he heard a quiet creaking. He immediately wiped away any evidence that he had been crying, pulled on his hood, and grabbed his bow. "Hello?" Oliver questioned.

After a pause he continued. "Please leave," he begged, and immediately regretted it. He really didn't want his voice to break.

Oh well.

"I really don't want to do this now," he sighed. He heard a chuckle. "I can easily grab your little girlfriend if you don't do as I say," the mysterious person said, but Oliver could tell it was female. "What are you going to say?" Oliver questioned, and he heard a loud sigh of annoyance.

"Ha. Ha. Ha," he heard her say. Oliver looked down, but waited patiently for her to answer so he could tell where she was. Hopefully she wasn't on the move.

"Well, you're going to go to the SCPD, admit to being The Green Arrow, and say hello to a jail cell," she said. Oliver turned his head and looked up.

He was looking exactly where she would be in the club.

He slowly walked up the stairs, making sure he didn't make any noise, and ran righting Felicity. "Felicity?" he whispered in surprise. "Ollie?" she guessed. "What are you doing here?" Oliver asked.

Felicity gulped. "You-you have to find the bad guy!" Felicity spit out. Oliver looked at her in confusion. "We'll talk about this in a minute," he said as he pushed past her. She nodded, and went back down the stairs.

...

Oliver rushed through the door. He didn't know who he had been talking to, but he could guess by the way only one person was running through his club.

Oliver, being almost as fast as a motorcycle, caught up with her in the back ally of the club. He punched her, and she fell. Seriously, he didn't even punch that hard. (He hated punching girls)

He looked around, then he walked back into the club, carrying the girl in his arms. He carried her down to the basement. (No one noticed. Seriously, sometimes people are clueless. Or drunk. That definitely helps)

He quickly locked her up in the cage he had used for Nyssa al Ghul, then he turned to Felicity.

"So, again, why are you here?" Oliver asked. Felicity took a deep breath. It was now or never, and she didn't want it to be never. (She didn't want it to be now either, but she wanted it to happen more than she didn't want it to happen)

"I-I-I wanted to see you," she said. "I needed to know something, and now I do."

Then, she kissed him. He immediately kissed back, to Felicity's immense joy.

When she finally pulled away, Oliver smiled at her. "Glad to know," he said, and he kissed her again.

...

Note: Let me know who you like better: GoldenVibe, or Olicity. Personally, I gotta say GoldenVibe, but that's just me.

Also, finally! This is the 30th chapter!
