11 - Arrival
Third Person POV:
"Pups! Finish packing in five minutes! We'll be going soon!" Ryder called the pups on their pup tags.
Vacation day awaits! The pups are packing up their things for their week-long vacation to Barkingburg. All of them are excited about the break. Mainly because it would let them have a break from many tiring missions. In Chase and Marshall's case, it would hopefully take their minds off of their broken friendship.
"I have all the things I need in my suitcase! Just in time, too!" the Dally checks his pup house.
Everest grinned. "Are you excited about this vacation, Marshall?"
"Yeah, I am." he smiled warmly.
Along with Ryder and the pups, Everest and Tracker are going with them. The pups were excited to hear this. Especially Marshall.
"I'm excited, too! Let's go! All the other pups are already there!" the Siberian Husky joyfully ran to the Air Patroller, with the Dalmatian trailing behind her.
Once they got inside, the other pups stared at them with a huge smile. All except Chase. He had a neutral look on his face as Marshall and Everest arrived.
Ryder announced. "You two came just in time! It's time to go now! Are you ready to go, pups?"
The pups glanced at each other, grinning. "Yes!"
"But what if there's an emergency while we're gone, Ryder, sir?" the German Shepherd questioned, concerned.
"Don't worry, Chase. That's already under control. I told Mayor Goodway about it, so we're good for now." the tech-savvy kid reasoned.
"Yes, sir!" Chase stood up, confidently.
"Alright! We're about to go now! Robo-Dog, take the Air Patroller to Barkingburg!" Ryder directed.
The Air Patroller went up to the sky and now, they would arrive in Barkingburg soon. They patiently waited.
"I can't wait to get to Barkingburg again! It'll be fun!" Everest smiled.
"No puedo esperar, too!" Tracker beamed in Spanish.
"We'll be there soon!" Ryder looked back at the pups, smiling.
After a while, they reached the kingdom of Barkingburg. The Air Patroller landed right in a large space, right in front of a large, tall, building.
Tracker glanced out of the window. "What's this place?"
"It's a five-star hotel. We're staying at for the week. It was a recommendation from the Princess of Barkingburg." Ryder informed, getting out of his chair.
"I heard that this hotel has nice food!" Rubble grinned, rubbing his belly.
"This place looks nice!" Rocky admired, staring at the window.
Ryder walked out of the Air Patroller. "Yeah! Let's get outside now! We have to get inside the hotel!"
The pups exited the Air Patroller, along with their bags. They took them to the front entrance of the hotel. In front, there were well-trimmed bushes with flowers of all kinds. Roses, tulips, daisies, and many different types of all colors and sizes. All were equally beautiful.
Inside the hotel looked more beautiful than expected. There were white, marble floors, high ceilings, and a large corridor filled with people.
"This place is extra cool!" Zuma applauded.
"I just know we're going to have a good time staying here, along with touring the city even more!" Chase wagged his tail.
"That's right, pups! Let's check-in." Ryder turned left, where the hotel receptionists are located.
There was a large desk, with a few adults there. They stood there, on their computers, servicing people.
"Greetings! Welcome to the finest hotel in Barkingburg! How can I help you?" a receptionist lady asked as she saw Ryder and the pups approach.
"Good afternoon! We're here to check into this hotel. There was a reservation made for us a few days ago by the Princess of Barkingburg." Ryder informed.
She typed something onto her computer. "I see the reservation. It's already paid for you because you're the PAW Patrol. I just need to give you the keys to the rooms."
"Thank you so much!" he acknowledged.
The lady held out a few keys. "You're welcome! Here are the keys to your rooms. A baggage porter will help you get your bags upstairs. Feel free to call room service at any time for assistance!"
"Alright. Thank you!" Ryder turned to the pups.
"I'll take those bags and get them to your rooms!" a baggage porter proceeded up to them.
"Thanks! Let's get to the rooms, pups. They're on the third floor, not far from here." Ryder turned to the pups, who had eager looks on their faces.
Rubble grinned. "Yay! Let's go!"
They boarded an elevator and when to the third floor, where their rooms were located. They got to have five rooms, two pups for each, including one for Ryder.
"Okay, so here are the arrangements for rooms. Chase and Skye can have one, Rocky and Zuma can have another, Marshall and Everest can share a room, Tracker and Rubble can share, and I have my own. Agreed?" the tech-savvy kid glanced at the pups.
"I like it. And the other pups seem to" the German Shepherd stared at all the pups, who had satisfied looks on their faces.
"That's great! Get to your rooms, unpack, change, and I'll meet you pups downstairs in twenty minutes. We're having dinner at the castle tonight!" Ryder went into his room.
"Got you, Ryder!" the Dalmatian entered his room, with Everest.

Marshall's POV:
"This vacation will be cool! Since we won't have to worry about missions, we can just relax!" Everest beamed.
"That's right!" I agreed, opening my suitcase.
We're finally on vacation! I'm sharing a room with the last pup I thought I'd share a room with. Everest, the beautiful Siberian Husky. But it happened.
She smirked. "And during this vacation, I'll get to see one pup I don't see too often."
"And who is that?" I asked, slightly confused.
"You, silly!" she laughed.
I blushed. "Oh!"
The two of us don't get to see each other often because we live separately. Everest lives on Jake's Mountain, which isn't far from the Lookout Tower, but often, I'm busy with missions, preventing me from visiting her.
"Yeah! We can spend some time together! Do you want us to?" she questioned, smiling.
I suggested. "Of course I do, Eve! I'd do anything to spend time with you."
"Sure thing, Marshall!" she winked.
Today is very unbelievable.
"Alrighty!" I complied, "We should get downstairs early."
"You're right! Let's go!" she started toward the door.
We exit together, entering the wonderful-looking hall. Nobody else was in it, except a maid, wheeling a cart of cleaning supplies to a room.
Both Everest and I take an elevator down the main floor and join Rubble and Tracker, who's already waiting at a bench.
"Hola, mis amigos! There are two minutes left until it's time to go!" Tracker glanced at us as we approached them.
"Hi, guys!" Everest and I smile warmly.
Right then, Rocky, Zuma, Skye, Ryder, and Chase approach us. Quite quickly, too.
"Well, it looks like everyone is here!" Ryder chimed, "Let's go outside! The cruiser will take us to the castle!"
"Okay! Let's go!" Skye started walking to the front doors.
Outside, the mission cruiser stood in front of us. It'll take us to the castle, where we would have dinner soon. We all stepped into the mission cruiser, ready to go.
"Robo-Dog, put your metal to the petal and take us to the castle!" Ryder directed as we got situated.
Robo-Dog barked. "Arrf! Arrf!"

Ten minutes later, we arrived at the large castle. The Earl and Princess were at the front of the castle, greeting us.
"Ryder! PAW Patrol! You're finally here!" Princess reached out to hug Ryder.
The Earl motioned us inside. "We are honored to have you stay in Barkingburg! Come inside the castle!"
The castle looked shiny and clean, like usual. The crown and throne sat at their place, surprisingly. Something seemed to be missing... It was Sweetie...
"Where's Sweetie?" Rubble asked, curiously.
Princess answered. "Oh, I don't know. She's probably outside of something. Why do you ask?"
"Oh, uh... No reason. I was just wondering." the bulldog looked at the floor.
Something's up with him.
"Well, anyway, we should head over to the dining hall. Dinner will be ready soon!" Earl ordered.
"Come on! Let's go!" Rocky said, smiling.
