My Love

In the quiet moments when my smile falters away,
Your cute bunny smile immediately brightens my day,

In your eyes, I find a reflection of unsaid, unheard dreams
For ours is a friendship that's deeper than it seems,

But beyond the smiling facades, there's something more,
A feeling that's been hidden since long before,

It's a gentle feeling which makes my heart at peace,
For its love that's grown in my heart, despite the unease,

So here I am, for my words are left unsaid,
My heart longs for you, but fears to tread,

Yet in this moment, I want to take a chance,
Hoping for a future with you, and a lovely romance.

So sweethearts, this is my eighth poem here. I wrote this from the perspective of Chaaya, a female character, in my teen fiction book, titled "Blissful Pain" for her one-sided love.
