A Letter Never Sent

I wrote a letter a long long time ago,
When for the first time in life I felt my heart glow,
When the teenage me crushed on someone for the very first time,
When I was with my millions of wishes and dreams very fine.

The letter was to someone who,
instead of laughing helped me when I fell.

The letter was for someone who,
knew me too well.

The letter was to someone who,
even on the worst days made me smile.

The letter was for someone who,
was always in style.

The letter was to someone who,
was my sunshine in a storm cloud.

The letter was for someone who,
I could find even in a crowd.

Yet it remained a letter never sent because there was no courage in me to spend.

This is my sixth poem here. I wrote this one as Entry No. 1 for "Lafz Kalam Ke - The poetry competition" book by efg2405

I won the first prize for this and recieved a lovely review by the judge Prajakta di and a pretty certificate by Maahie.
