Third Person's P.O.V :-

Jungkook slowly walked by the stairs, heading towards his bedroom while he glanced downstairs.

Everything was quite while Taehyung was walking all over the place, moving dishes over, Jimin helping him silently.

Jungkook didn't know how to feel about this situation.

He was happy that the situations between the couple seemed to have gotten tense but at the same time the gloomy and dazed look on Taehyung was unsettling towards him.

'I would have kept you so much happy' He thought yearningly.

None of the participants from downstairs noticed his presence as he slowly took his leave after he saw Taehyung heading towards the kitchen island, Jungkook guessed, to prepare his night time plate.

Jungkook waited impatiently on his bed for Taehyung's arrival and sure enough, there was a knock on his bedroom door within a minute.

"It's open" Jungkook called out, desperately wanting to see Taehyung in spite of being with him just a while ago.

Taehyung slowly stepped inside the room with a tray of food in his hands,"I've brought the food as you asked" He whispered not making eye contact with Jungkook.

Jungkook slowly stood up from his seat not breaking the gaze he had Taehyung pinned under as he walked towards him.

"Thank you" He said tracing Taehyung's wrists gently as he eyed the other's downcasted gaze.

Taehyung bit his lips when he felt Jungkook's hands playfully drawing patterns on his knuckles,"Ju-just take the food tray, please.." Taehyung spoke in a small voice.

"You should have brought your own food as well, I would have given you better company than your husband" Jungkook said taking the tray away from Taehyung's motionless hands.

Jungkook observed how Taehyung's eyes restlessness wandered over the carpet.

"You shouldn't say such things, Jungkook" Taehyung slowly started as he looked up little by little,"Knowing very that I can't let him dine alone" He said staring directly at Jungkook's eyes.

"And then he'll come here to sleep with me, your efforts wouldn't accomplish anything at the end of the day" Jungkook grinned as he saw Taehyung's eyes widening and looking down on the floor.

"Just...just take the damn food" Taehyung muttered under his breath wanting to get out of there as soon as possible.

"Not gonna arrange my medicines for me?" Jungkook asked, lifting the food tray from Taehyung's shaking hands and placing it down on the nightstand.

"I know what I'm supposed to do, you don't have to tell me" Taehyung glared at Jungkook before walking past him to pull out the drawer of the nightstand.

Jungkook watched intently as Taehyung's lean back bent down, looking around for his medicines.

"I placed the pills on the tray, when you're done eating, take them right away" Taehyung said as he pushed the drawer back and stood up properly,"I'll be go-" Taehyung stopped mid sentence after turning around and finding Jungkook just a few inches away.

"You have no idea how hot you look when you get angry" Jungkook said stepping closer.

"I-I..I have t-to go do-downstairs, th-the food's get-getting co-cold" Taehyung shuttered out, intimidated by the closeness and those intense dark eyes.

Jungkook smiled and cupped Taehyung's face,"Thank you for the food" He whispered as he leaned in and left a small peck on Taehyung's left cheek.

Taehyung let go of the breath he had been holding and looked up at Jungkook pleadingly,"Please stop doing these things to me" He whispered.

Jungkook stared at him for a moment before stepping back slowly.

Taehyung saw that as his chance to escape and made a dash towards the door, just as his fingers traced the doorknob, Jungkook spoke out.

"You're running away from me now, Taehyung, but one day you'll come to me willingly and ask me, request me to do all sorts of inappropriate things to you"

Those words sent tingling sensations all over his body as he slowly peeped back to see Jungkook looking at him longingly.

"And I'll wait for that day patiently" Jungkook stated seriously before his face dissolve into an adorable smile,"Goodnight, Taehyung"

And Taehyung didn't waste another second to twist the doorknob as he ran out of the room.

Coming down the stairs, still a bit shaken up by Jungkook's words and action, he tried to focus on having a filling meal with Jimin for the night.

"That took you longer than I expected"

Taehyung looked up to see Jimin staring at him from his seat on the dining table.

"Yeah, couldn't find one of his medicines, it was under his pillow" Taehyung lied effortlessly as he walked towards the table to see Jimin hadn't touched his plate.

"You haven't started yet?" Taehyung asked softly, sitting down across him.

"I thought I'd wait for you" Jimin replied picking up his chopsticks,"Eating alone must suck" Jimin whispered out the last part.

Taehyung smiled bitterly.

Their dinning table only had two chairs, so naturally Taehyung always served them first and then ate by himself when they were done.

It wasn't like he didn't try to drag one tool from the kitchen counter and sit with them but back when he tried it, Jungkook had stood up and ran away from the table.

After that Taehyung never sat on the same table as them. Only after they were off to the bedroom, Taehyung would bring his own food over.

"It's not that bad" Taehyung said in a subdued manner,"Once you get used to it" He whispered the last part under his breath so that Jimin wouldn't hear it.

"Grandma called today when I was in the office" Jimin started making Taehyung look up.

"What did Mistress say?" Taehyung asked out anxiously, afraid that he must have done something wrong again to piss off the eldest Park.

"It's Grandma to you too now, Taehyung" Jimin said in a gentle voice,"She wants us to visit Busan again, she's throwing a tea ceremony, wants us to attend" Jimin explained.

"Oh.." Taehyung sighed in relief after hearing that but suddenly a thought hit,"But what about Jungkook? We can't leave him behind like this on his own.." Taehyung asked curiously.

Jimin smiled at how thoughtful Taehyung was,"I told her we'd be bringing a guest with us to the ceremony, she sounded a bit upset but didn't decline" He said and put some food into his mouth.

"That's a good news" Taehyung said as he started to eat his food as well.

After dinner, Jimin helped Taehyung with the dishes. Taehyung was rinsing the dishes off the sink while Jimin wiped it with a clean dry cloth and arranged it in it's place.

They were doing their jobs in complete silence until Jimin's voice spoke up.

"About...what happened a while ago.." He started making Taehyung's body tense up.

"Ji-Jimin-" Taehyung started slowly but got cut off.

"No, just, I don't want that to make things awkward between us..." Jimin stated out in a rush and turned towards Taehyung,"So if there's anything I can do to make things normal again, just tell me" He requested reaching out for Taehyung's hand.

"There's nothing awkward between us now, Jimin, everything is fine, please don't worry about it" Taehyung replied reassuringly.

"Then there's no problem if I.." Jimin's other hand sneaked around Taehyung's waist and pulled him close.

Taehyung tried his best, he really did, but when he saw Jimin leaning closer he just couldn't do it.

Putting his fingers on Jimin's mouth to stop him from leaning in any closer, Taehyung looked down in shame,"I'm sorry...I can't.."

Jimin let go of Taehyung and stepped back,"You've learned how to lie well, Taehyung, I didn't expect that from you" Jimin whispered as he placed the last of the plate in it's spot.

"Goodnight" And with that Jimin stromed upstairs without another word, leaving Taehyung alone to smile bitterly down at the floor.

"If only you knew how well I've mastered the skill"
