Previously: Tara went over to Darcy's house to apologise about what happened after the party. They make up and go in the watch a movie. At a scary part Tara falls off the sofa and Darcy tries to help her up but the fall, then Darcy kisses her and ghosts her until the first day of school when Darcy apologises.

Darcy:

Neither of us mentioned the kiss or anything that happened over Christmas for the rest of the year. Not until the last day of school. We both had music then maths but after music she realised she left her pencil case in a music room, we went back and I accidentally let the door shut

"DARCY! That's the one that locks! We're going to be late for maths!" She yelled

"Oops? Sorry!"

She went and sat in the corner and I joined her.

We talked for ages but eventually there was an awkward silence. 

"Tara" - "Darcy" we said at the same time

"You go first" she said

"I'm really sorry for getting us into this situation."

"It's fine. I mean at least it was maths and not something interesting." we laughed

"What were you going to say?" I asked

"N-nothing"

"Tell me!" I nudged her

"Fine. What actually happened on Christmas Eve? And why won't you talk about it?!"

"I um. I'm lesbian" I blurted out

"Ok but that doesn't explain why you kissed me"

"Because- it doesn't matter I'm sorry it was a mistake" I started rambling "I shouldn't have done it I hadn't even come out to you then and your straight and I'm so sor-"

She leaned over and kissed me while I was speaking.

"I- uh wow" I stammered 

"Sorry" 

"Why are you sorry?"

"Because I don't even know what's going on and I don't know what I am all I know is that I really like you. In a romantic way not just a friend way" 

(Sorry couldn't resist putting that in)

"That's ok. I didn't realise until I figured out I had a massive crush on you" I laughed

"So are we......together?"

"I- if you want to?"

"Yeah. But can we not tell anyone yet?"

"Sure"

We again kissed for a while until finally a teacher walked past, noticed us and let us out. We walked to class hand in hand since there was nobody in the hallways. The teacher yelled at us for being so late but it was worth it. I finally came out to someone and told Tara I liked her. Definitely worth it.
