The Trolls

"I have to go!" I demanded. I had to fix the mess my daughter and I were in. I lifted myself up from the bed, only to get stopped by Jack.
"You are not going anywhere."
"What if she gets hurt?" I asked bawling my eyes out. I was scared and worried.
"Don't worry. Everything will be fine," Jack said calmly. I wasn't in the mood for calm.
"Are you sure?" I asked trying to not explode with anxiety. This question only got answered by another one.
"Do you trust me?"

I gently touched my hair hoping that they were just messing around with me. I brought my hair to a seeing distance and to my horror, they were telling the truth. My hair was a light platinum-blonde just like my mom's. My mom. It all made sense. But I had to fix this mess. I shot up like a bullet to go get my mom. "Where do you think you're going?" Andrea asked.
"I have to get my mom," I cried out to them.
"You are not going anywhere because you need rest," Andrea said to me while tackling me down on the bed.
"You don't understand. I have to see something," I tried to explain. But they just wouldn't listen. Andrea locked me onto the bed and barked intelligible words to Elizabeth. She ran out of the room and came back in about a minute. Me? I was still strapped onto the bed, being held by Andrea's mighty grip.
"Are you sure we should?" I could heard Elizabeth ask.
"It's for her own safety." I was sprayed with something sweet smelling. I was trapped in a daze and I stopped struggling. Everything got blurry around me. I felt Andrea released her grip but by then it was far too late to get to my mother. Before long, the perfume made me drowsy, merely dizzy, and I passed out.

I woke up in a curious place. It took me a couple of seconds to realize that I was moving. But moving where? I slowly got up but then crouched back down when I realized that I was riding on a horse. It was pretty dark and I couldn't see very well, but lanterns on the horses lit up the night sky. I looked around me and saw that Andrea and Eli were riding with aunt Anna on another horse. My dad was flying right above me. I slowly got up and saw Phoenix and my mom. Everyone was quiet on the way to . . . wherever we were going. Suddenly, I slow to a stop and so does everyone else. I get lifted off the horse and onto the ground beneath me. The rough dirt tickled my feet and felt good. I saw everyone walking forward so I followed behind. Suddenly, we stop in the middle of nowhere. I curiously look around and see a bunch of rocks. No. Not a bunch. A whole mountain of rocks. I wondered why we had just stopped out of nowhere. Nothing was here for us. Why were we even here? Then I saw uncle Kristoff step out in front of us and say some words. My senses still hadn't come back and I couldn't understand anything that was happening or what anyone was saying. It was all the same to me.
Not long after Kristoff spoke, the rocks started moving. Moving! Toward us. I wanted to run away and go back home and sleep. I was feeling a bit scared. Sure my senses weren't in the best shape. But I think that I remember clearly that rocks don't move.
All of a sudden, they started opening up. Yes, opening up. That got me terrified. It was probably 12:00 am and I was already dealing with supernatural beings which, I thought, didn't even exist.
A rock opened up in front of us and revealed a troll. A very old troll. My dad went up to him and possibly was asking for help. My senses were coming back, so that was a good thing. Then the troll motioned for me to come to him and so I did. He enveloped my hand in his and explained that my mom and I would have to wait until the next blue moon to reverse the spell. Next blue moon!? I couldn't wait that long! I didn't want to have powers, didn't want to be in danger. And by the looks of it, neither did my mama.
"You must be in contact with each other when the moon rises. Hold hands when the moon is right above you. In three months. If this does not take place, you must wait until the next blue moon. But this may not be able to reverse the curse." I had to wait three months until I could get my normal life back. Three months! I couldn't wait that long. I was very impatient. But I was going to have to wait. I had no choice. Then out of nowhere, strange laughter erupted in the darkness.
